Hey, big fan, I loved your AU Star Wars fics, by far some of the best stories I've read. So when I saw the trailer for the new Disney show and saw Barriss as an inquisitor I was shocked, was this always the canon? I wondered if you were inspired by some SW novels or is this just a weird coincidence?

Barriss Offee has not appeared in any Star Wars media set after TCW S5 since "The Wrong Jedi" aired in 2013. On the Edge of the Devil's Backbone was written between May 2015 (began posting in July 2015) and October 2018, when the only media that existed that dealt with the Inquisitors was Star Wars Rebels, which introduced the Inquisitor (not yet called the Grand Inquisitor) in 2014 -- you'll note that in Backbone it's the Inquisition rather than the Inquisitorius, which is a name that canon didn't use until much later. Backbone was written so early that canon wasn't even using the Brother/Sister naming conventions that appeared in Rebels S2, which the first few chapters of Backbone predates (it started posting in the summer of 2015). That is the reason that Backbone Inquisitors use naming conventions that the canon Inquisitors do not: because it predates the canon naming conventions.
Back in 2015, there was speculation that the Seventh Sister who appeared in the S2 trailer that aired at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim was Barriss, thus leading to a brief period of time when the Seventh Sister and the Fifth Brother were known as "Barriss and Clyde" within the fandom, and for a long time afterwards people still called the Fifth Brother Clyde. The Seventh Sister when introduced in the original trailer only appeared helmeted, leading to the speculation that she might be Barriss Offee. When her VA was announced, there was widespread dismay that Sarah Michelle Geller might have replaced Meredith Salenger as Barriss, and at one point Freddie Prinze Jr had to deny that SMG had been recast as Barriss: that was how predominant that theory was. My use of Barriss as an Inquisitor came out of the original "there are more Inquisitors!" reveal from the Rebels S2 trailer but I made the decision back then not to make her the character that would later be known as the Seventh Sister since I was pretty sure canon wasn't going to do that. That decision was not based on anything that was actually in canon and certainly not on any of the novels at the time, because back in 2015 when I started working on Backbone there were only, I think, four new canon books out.
Backbone was, in fact, so early that when I wrote it, Cham Syndulla had not been re-introduced in Rebels -- the episode "Homecoming" aired in February 2016. (He was not actually revealed as Hera Syndulla's father until the April 2015 novel Lords of the Sith; it had previously been speculated he was Hera's uncle, not her father.) It was written years before Jedi: Fallen Order came out and revealed more information about the Inquisitorius, their recruiting patterns, or their headquarters; it also predates the appearance of the Inquisitorius in the 2017 Darth Vader comics.
All that said, it's not really a weird coincidence -- TBB also made Hera's mother green, for example, the same way I made Alecto Syndulla green. (This was more than a year before we saw that portrait in Rebels S3 (October 2016) and even more years before she was actually given a name in TBB.) That Barriss had become an Inquisitor was speculated as soon as the Rebels S2 trailer revealed that the Inquisitor was not the only Inquisitor. (He was not called the Grand Inquisitor in canon until the episode introducing the Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother aired in late October 2015, which by the way Backbone predates. He was introduced in 2014 only as "the Inquisitor," which is why and some older fans will still call him Quizzy.)
Backbone is nine years old. I started working on it in May 2015, even before "The Siege of Lothal" aired. Even though it wasn't finished until 2018, it was fully plotted by the end of summer 2015 and it predates most current Star Wars canon, because the new canon only started in fall of 2014, with the novel Star Wars: A New Dawn and soon afterwards Rebels. There was not much canon then! The Inquisitors were introduced for Rebels! At the time, there was nothing else! All of that stuff we now know about the Inquisitors? It came out well after Backbone started posting. (Hell, Jedi: Fallen Order not only postdates the beginning of Backbone, it postdates the end of Backbone, which was October 2018.)

please note: the characters in SOHAE are based on my interpretation of the book descriptions. the initial art for SOHAE was started prior to casting announcements and when Walker was casted the decision was made to ignore the tv cast regardless of who was chosen due to the young age of the actors and the fact that SOHAE skews mature in content. its my personal belief that there can be multiple equally canon versions of the same character especially as adaptions come out and i do not tolerate anyone who dismisses the casting or describes book versions as the “true” version, these comments will be removed immediately and the people will be blocked from all blogs. i will continue to use whichever version of my designs for the character works best for the work.

what's so weird is that I joined the sw fandom while rebels was airing right? like. by the time I caught up on the movies and tcw, star wars rebels season 3 was about to drop and there were all these hints about obi-wan showing up, so as a brand-new obi-wan fan I was like. HYPED
and I was also like "omg omgomg omgomogmg ewan should come back as obi-wan please it's all i want i'm going through A Lot and him coming back as obi-wan would just really help me get through all the shit i'm going through"
and so yeah obi-wan does show up in rebels which is like :')))))) SUCH A GOOD EPISODE btw and not long after that tcw season 7 was announced so I was like "omg yes even more new obi-wan content! i am thriving!"
and then not long after that the kenobi series was announced and that show made ALL of my dreams come true but now it's like. it's done and I'm so conflicted about whether or not I want a second season (I think I'm leaning more towards I want ewan to come back again but I'm not sure if it should be in the form of a second season, since the series ended on such a perfect note)
but now it's been almost two years since the show and for the first time since I joined the fandom, there's been not much new obi-wan content in tv/movie canon (there are plenty of books and comics though I'm just very behind with my TBR aklsdjfljalsdflafd)
so the fandom just feels different to me y'know? or at least the obi-wan centric part of the fandom feels different. the past few years have been amazing and I really hope we continue to get more obi-wan content in one way or another but I also don't want it to be at the expense of his character. I want it to be right.
but this means less obi-wan content and I'm just trying to come to terms with that :/
TLDR i joined the fandom at a time when a lot was happening with obi-wan's character and now things have settled down after all of that and I'm trying to wrap my head around all of it

Do you know of any good examples of Pietro being coloured with darker skin? There’s the new SW solo and No Surrender but is there any other that you know of?
I hope the positive change we’ve seen with colouring Wanda correctly will extend to him as well
Depends on your definition of "darker." A lot of what passes for brown or tan in comic books is shockingly light to me.
There are plenty of comics, particularly in the 90s, where Pietro and Wanda are somewhat tan, but that's usually just because the artists were working in a warmer color palette. It's not an intentional choice-- they're usually in the same shade range as other white characters.
Things really started to change with Quicksilver: No Surrender. The color artist, Rico Renzi, intentionally gave the twins deeper skin tones, and I've heard that this is something the writer, Saladin Ahmed, specifically requested from him. Unfortunately, you can't really tell in most issues, since Pietro is mostly alone in a grayscale setting, and the flashback sequences were colored by a different artist. Still, it really stands out in the final issue, and it was the start of a slow but steady change for the entire Maximoff family.
Over the past four years, many artists have begun changing the way they draw Wanda, Pietro, Billy and Tommy. Here's a quick timeline:
Rico Renzi went on to color Wanda and Pietro with brown skin an issue of Squirrel Girl Beats Up The Marvel Universe
Marcelo Maiolo gave Billy a deep tan on the cover of Empyre: Aftermath Avengers and in a splash page of Marvel's Voices: Pride.
Jesus Aburtov gave Wanda noticeably tan skin tone in Darkhold.
Rye Hickman and Brittany Peer drew both Wanda and Pietro with defined noses, curly hair, and brown skin in Who Is the Scarlet Witch?
Russel Dauterman debuted his new design for Wanda ahead of the 2022 Hellfire Gala-- in all of his illustrations and design sheets, she has light brown skin, dark curly hair, and a defined nose.
Peach Momoko began drawing Wanda with brown skin in official cover art and personal pieces during the Judgement Day event, which has been mimicked to varying degrees by several other artists.
Scarlet Witch (2023) is announced, featuring Dauterman's Gala design as Wanda's new definitive look. Dauterman is on covers, with Pichelli and Wilson on interiors. In the most recent previews, Wanda and Pietro both have rich, warm brown skin.
The Maximoff family appears together in Love Unlimited: Hulkling & Wiccan. They are initially shown with fair skin, but by the end of the series, color artist Matt Milla has noticeably adjusted Billy's skin to a light brown.
I had a brief conversation with Dauterman on Instagram last month and he acknowledged that Wanda's new look was an intentional choice and was glad to hear that it's making people happy. I'm delighted that so many artists are starting to take cues from his choice, and Renzi's, to show Wanda and Pietro this way.

okay i thought about it and here is what i would do if I was put in charge of Lucasfilm: first i would wonder how i came to be in this position, but i do have some memory issues so I just go with it. then i cancel all upcoming star wars properties, not only the shows and movies but all the books and comics, videogames and even the lego star wars shorts. i beef up the Lucasfilm legal division, pulling the most promising young lawyers from all over the world who never watched star wars ever. their goal: draft up a legal document that will make it impossible to produce any star wars content ever again. meanwhile the internet is wondering what my next move will be, as i’m a total newcomer to the world of media. then I’ll announce the only project we will be doing that year: a 20 minute black and white short prequel about skeen in an imperial prison. ebon moss-bachrach doesn’t want to do it at first but I pay him 360 million dollars. in the meantime, the team of lawyers is working 35 hour weeks (i’m a good employer) towards my secret goal.
reddit twitter and tumblr are united for the first time in wanting to boycott the skeen movie (that’s the title btw), but when it releases everyone is so starved for sw content they watch it anyway. it is massively controversial because it depicts prisoners eating each other out of desperation, but the ones that are eaten aren’t humans so it’s unclear if it’s cannibalism. i can’t even watch it because i forgot this squicks me out a lot. i gave the creative team total freedom, which might have been a mistake.
during all of this my home life is shit, but let’s not talk about that. i do 12 hour zoom calls everyday because I refused to relocate to california, but then my home address gets doxxed and i have to move to an undisclosed location in the middle of the night (there are a lot of threats against me). people are absolutely hating me, asking for mando season 4, asking for andor season 2 (i have seen the screeners and it is good, btw). dave filoni and jon favreau write an open letter to ask me to reconsider the pause on star wars production but i respond in the only way i know how - with the mariah carey “i don’t even know her” gif. after a while, favreau moves on to develop a vr based immersive series about ultimate fighting about his character in friends. by all accounts, he’s happy.
one of the lawyers betrays me and leaks my plans to the world. fans are in outrage. it’s clear now that i’m planning to ban any sw related media, deep fakes, adaptations, hell, even re-releases of the old stuff. why? i’m not available for comment. from now on, star wars will only exist in your memory, the only place it has ever been good.
there’s an outpouring of fan creativity in the wake of that bombshell leak. people begin to make fan films that are so good and creative that a new wave of avant garde scifi film making is ushered in. a person who worked on the andor set gets massively famous with their spoken word rendition of the scenes they can remember. i go after them with everything Lucasfilm has. this makes the video of their performance even more popular and it becomes the 2nd ever most viewed clip on Vimeo.
other streaming services green-light a mass of scifi and fantasy shows just in case they have the next sw on their hands - entertainment abhors a vacuum. There are so many good new properties, it’s an embarrassment of riches. my favourite of them all gets cancelled after one season though - I will never be sure if it’s because of my bad karma or because someone blabbed about my preferences and this was retaliation. i can’t trust anybody in my inner circle. All over the world, people still are wondering why I did it, but in the end, they are much happier now. sometimes little kids see a star wars toy - one of the few ones that didn’t get destroyed in the five waves of merchandise burnings I had ordered over the years - and asks their parents about it. “It’s nothing.” the skeen movie gets a throwback oscar for special effects twenty years later.
Anyway, what would you do.

I set this one in yet another AU I'm working on instead of the Fluffverse, let's call it the Mechanicverse.
16. “So I sold your car for a piece of lemon cake.”
Boba had known Luke since he was fifteen, so it should have come as no surprise that the seemingly random pieces of junk that Luke had been collecting over the past two years and storing in that empty corner of the cargo hold in the Slave I had a purpose.
Boba had just been too caught up with everything else to realise that.
And now there was a speeder bike in his cargo hold. He’d be impressed that that monstrosity had risen from literal scrap if only it didn’t take up so much space. He’d also be properly amazed by Luke’s skills if only Luke had told him that he was assembling a speeder in the Slave I’s cargo hold.
“Why didn’t you tell me you were making a speeder in my ship, di’kut?” Boba grunted, crossing his arms over his chest and using the privacy of his helmet to admire Luke’s work. It was quite a large speeder, but then again, the engine proudly displayed on the front of the speeder was military-grade, a relic from the Clone Wars.
“ ‘cause you’d say you don’t want a speeder bike in your ship,” Luke replied calmly, cheeky like only he could be. Sighing, Boba leaned against the bulkhead, crossing his legs at the ankles:
“And what’s stopping me from dumping this out the airlock right now?” He wouldn’t, obviously. He tolerated Luke too much, was too attached to him; Luke should know that, yet something wary flashed across his eyes - which Boba found extremely offensive. Without further comment, Boba turned his back and climbed the ladder out of the cargo hold.
For a few days, the speeder bike wasn’t mentioned.
But as soon as they returned to Tatooine and Boba let Luke loose in the hangar of Jabba’s palace to go greet all the droids, he set a petty plan into motion. Ignoring the bewildered looks from the guards that roamed the perimeter, Boba unloaded the speeder from the Slave I and hid it in plain sight - namely, in the space between the Slave I and the hangar wall.
Without a glance behind, he left the hangar to go announce his presence to Jabba and sneak out of the throne room again, in no disposition to put up with the cacophony of Jabba’s court. He headed straight into the kitchens, sneaked around until he found a decent enough prize, and made his way back unnoticed to the hangar.
As expected, Luke was waiting for him, sitting at the bottom of the access ramp of the Slave I. And as expected, he had a confused look on his face that got even more comical once he spotted the plate Boba was carrying.
Ostensibly, Boba cut a little piece of his slice of cake with the fork and manoeuvred it inside his helmet.
“All good?” he asked, chewing around the small piece of cake. For a moment, Luke simply blinked his eyes at him, until he pointed over the shoulder with his thumb:
“Where… where did my speeder go?” he asked. Because he had a helmet, Boba allowed himself a smug grin, faking a sigh and cutting another piece off his slice:
“So I sold your speeder for a piece of lemon cake,” Boba said dismissively, taking great pleasure in both the cake and the shock slowly seizing Luke’s features:
“For a piece of lemon cake??? Boba, that kark was worth at least a couple thousands!!”
Luke always had to spoil the fun, didn’t he? Boba’s grin died and he deadpanned at Luke behind his helmet, tilting his head to the side in resignation:
“You’re upset that I got a piece of cake instead of the part about me selling your speeder?”
“That-” Luke snapped, pointing accusingly at the gradually disappearing slice of cake. “- is karking offensive to my work!”
“I just said I sold your speeder, di’kut!”
“It was to be sold anyway, what was I supposed to do with it?? I live in your kriffing ship, what do I need a speeder for?”
Oh, Luke didn’t actually want the speeder? Change of plans: now they really were keeping that thing. Sneaking another piece of cake under his helmet, Boba then pointed with the fork to where he had hidden the speeder:“You can load that thing into the cargo hold again,” Boba commanded, then almost choked as he attempted not to laugh at the look of disbelief on Luke’s face.

I’ve been dying to talk about the new SW comic. Like I’m so happy Wanda is going to have a community of people in her corner. And I love the fact that Pietro is apart of it and that they’ll have cute sibling banter unlike what happened in the witches road run 😭
Oh my god trust me when I tell you I have NOT shut up about the SW comic since it first got announced!! Everything I hear about it makes me love it more, I’ve been preordering all the variants like a madwoman haha
I’m hoping that since the writers specifically want to show Wanda being self-assured and well adjusted, we’ll see them being bantery

Ok, warning. Spoilers for Tales of the Jedi!!!
Tales of the Jedi trailer was released yesterday and I have some thoughts. First off, I’d like to say that I’M FUCKING IN LOVE. I’ve seen it at least 20 times by now just on loop, trying to catch everything that was shown. I’M BEYOND HYPED. It looks AMAZING!! The animation is crisp and beautiful and while the character models look different, they still appear to be aligned with their right ages (like Ahsoka still looks like a teenager in training, Anakin still looks like a young man in his early 20s, and mullet Obi with Clone War armor is a nice looking 30-something year old). Even Mace looks a bit younger (though imo he could’ve looked even younger).
I was sad to learn that Dave Filoni decided to rewrite Ahsoka’s stories to include her mother. Lemme explain. Star Wars doesn’t really show mothers (or if they do they die—Shmi/Padme/Beru) and the first mother character really seemed to be Hera in Rebels (she doesn’t have a kid until S4 but she still seemed like the mom of the group throughout). So Filoni decided on including Ahsoka’s mother, rewriting Ahsoka’s part to fit her in. While I understand adding more ‘mother-representation’ in SW is important, I really would’ve preferred to see Master Plo Koon. He wasn’t shown at all in any of the village scenes and while it’s totally possible he will still show up (and Filoni’s keeping it a secret), it seems like the new village characters (Ahsoka’s family) will take the spotlight.
That brings me to my next point. Disney has already announced Ahsoka (the live action show) so I was really surprised that Tales of the Jedi would focus a lot on her. She’s a fan-favorite and people love her (myself included) but I, personally think that her live action show would be enough (her show and maybe a Bad Batch cameo would be enough I think). We already know how much she trained, how she got to where she is. I’m more interested in where she’s going tbh. Don’t get me wrong, I loved seeing phase 1 Rex and 501st train Ahsoka to use the move she used to escape during O66, especially since Anakin seemed to push her so hard (the irony). And seeing her cloaked in disguise at Padme’s funeral 😭 I lost it. Despite seeing a few badass moments with Ahsoka, I think I would’ve preferred a character we didn’t see much of/a new character, especially if it’s not a jedi (I love Jedi but SW is so much more, especially since Tales of the Jedi isn’t directly tied to the Clone Wars—same animation but stories are spread out through the timeline). As someone who’s never read any of the comics/novels, I’d love to see a new, non-related character’s story animated in the Clone Wars style.
I am glad that the shots we do see of Ahsoka training, she’s not in her OG outfit (aka no tube top). It’s similar, but it is different (her new top is more like a sleeveless tunic—kinda like what Korra wears in Legend of Korra). People have obviously pointed out how Ahsoka’s outfit design makes no sense and I agree, especially since it’s been established Jedi/Padawans wear robes. Would’ve preferred Ahsoka in robes, but I’m glad we got a different top nonetheless.
I think it’s only 6 episodes (though I’m not certain) and 3 are supposedly focused on Ahsoka (I believe 1–Ahsoka being discovered as a Jedi 2–Anakin training Ahsoka 3–Ahsoka post O66 going home to defend her village from the Inquisitor). The other 3 I believe are focused on Dooku and Quigon (1–the duo save a Senator and his family 2–They investigate the death of a Jedi 3–Master Yaddle discovers Dooku’s turn to the Dark Side). That’s just my opinion based on the trailer.
So. Overall, I’m definitely extremely excited for this show. I know Bad Batch s2 got delayed to Jan 4th 2023 and honestly…I don’t mind? I’ve been WAY more excited/hyped for TotJ (Tales of the Jedi) than Bad Batch anyways. I really hope it gets more than 1 season🤞 Because I think there are only 6 episodes, I really hope they’re longer than the usual 25min/half hour TCW episodes were (preferably 1hr, but even 40mins like Arcane would be great). Because they did include Ahsoka, I’d love to see how she purifies her kyber crystals before she’s shown in Rebels (I know it’s in a new novel about her but would be cool to see animated). Honestly I’m not unhappy that Dave Filoni decided to focus a lot on her, but I think because we know a lot about her already, I want to see specific scenes that I’m not sure will happen. I love Ahsoka and while I, personally. would prefer a new/lesser known character be featured, I like how her episodes kind of tell her life story at the important points (being discovered, training and life after O66) so people could watch these 3 episodes with her instead of having to watch all of TCW to know who she is (if, for some reason they don’t know who she is before going to Ahsoka the show). I didn’t really talk about the Dooku/Quigon episodes, but that’s because those are the ones I’m most excited for.
As I said earlier, I’m not all that excited for Bad Batch s2 for various reasons (THE WHITEWASHING, lack of character development, the typical ‘Saturday morning cartoon’ writing of like half the episodes). In fact, I’m more excited for the Young Jedi Adventures than I am for Bad Batch s2, and Young Jedi Adventures is supposed to be for little, little kids (but it’s set in the High Republic Era!!! How cool is that?? Wondering if they’ll use different animation since they use a different kind of animations for their series). So yeah…the whitewashing in BB really is almost a dealbreaker for me (I’ll still watch it ofc, but until my problems are addressed, I still prefer fan-content of Bad Batch). I much prefer TotJ and YJA for the upcoming SW animated content.

It isn't the same with Star Wars it seems, they've gotten a lot better at pacing themselves with releases. There's been (to my knowledge):
-2 seasons of The Mandalorian (third one coming next year)
-5 movies (3 sequels, Rogue One, and Solo)
-The Bad Batch (1 season, second season coming later this year)
-1 season of The Clone Wars (the final season)
-TBOBF mini-series
-Obi-Wan Kenobi mini-series
-Andor
And that's in the span of 7 or 8 years since they acquired Lucasfilm? So like 7 things total if I'm counting it correctly (I'm very likely missing something). Obviously that's not counting all the announced stuff or stuff that's currently in development like Ahsoka or other shows. But still it seems like it's more evenly paced out and it doesn't seem like there's 92 releases per year like with Marvel. It's still a lot and Disney needs to treat their employees better, but it's not a content factory like the MCU is.
For sure! Plus SW doesn’t have as wide ranging of an audience as the MCU does, so there isn’t quite as much demand for content. But yeah, since acquiring Lucasfilm, we got technically 3 seasons of TCW (LFL was acquired in 2012, season 5 aired on CN but was after that deal went thru, then Netflix released a season in 2014), Rebels, Resistance, The Bad Batch, Visions, Mando, TBOBF, Obi-Wan Kenobi, some show I did not know existed bc it was on StarWarsKids.com (which I also did not know existed) called Jedi Temple Challenge????, some animated micro series (total of 8), obviously the sequel trilogy, Rogue One, Solo, Biomes, A Droid Story, & will be getting Tales of the Jedi, Young Jedi Adventures (which 2 b fair is a kids show), Andor, Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, The Acolyte, Lando, whatever Taika Waititi is directing, and maybe Rogue Squadron but that’s apparently not even on the release schedule anymore.
So that’s a grand total of 9 shows released plus some mini series that barely count, 5 movies, a couple shorts, and 7 more shows and one movie in the works, plus a few additional seasons of shows already released (Mando, TBB, Visions, Andor apparently is already getting a second season). And I’m sure that since they had something to do with the games that have/are coming out since Disney owns LFL & Lucasarts is part of LFL. KOTOR has had a couple rereleases, The Old Republic is still kicking & has had expansions released in the last year, we’ll be getting a KOTOR remake, Battlefront, Jedi: Fallen Order, and we’ll be getting Jedi: Survivor next year, there was a VR game called Vader Immortal, Star Wars: Squadrons, another VR game called Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, a mobile & switch game called Hunters, and then we’ll get Star Wars: Eclipse at some point. Not to mention the LEGO Star Wars games, of which Disney would’ve had input in LSW: The Force Awakens (2016) & the new Skywalker Saga game. There was apparently a Minecraft DLC in 2020? And a Sims 4 DLC in 2020.
Still a lot of content (especially if you take into account the sheer number of books & comics in this universe) but yeah not quite the same content farm in just movies & shows as the MCU.

General FAQ
What programs do you use?
Procreate and photoshop
What brushes do you use?
Procreate: mainly 6b sketch and Tamar for full colour drawings, 6b sketch + andreaga's watercolour brushes for comic inks

While I've been open about the fact that a lot of things started with the mashing of PJO and 5s*s/T*ylor, now that we are over 50 chapters deep into this story I like to think we are well past that point. If you read SOHAE and the only thing you get out of it is the 5s*s/Swiftifaction of PJO characters than I'm not sure you go the most out of it. (This includes asks that are just imagine if blackjack/annabeth did [thing ts/5s*s did])
While I appreciate T*ylor as an artist I care very little for her as a person so questions about her personal life outside of her songs and how they relate to SOHAE's plot do very little for me, and when something you don't care much about is in your face constantly it is hard to not be annoyed. A similar principle applies to 5s*s
Asking about webtoon (or if I would post to any other platform)
i loath webtoon. i'll chew my left leg off before i put sohae on webtoon. i despise it's infinite growth model. i hate formatting for vertical scroll. i don't like it's metrics games or it's microtransactions. i want to fight webtoon in a wendys parking lot.
also i will not upload to other platforms, this is the format i've chosen and it's a choice i made after a lot of thought so yk ✋

if it’s not in the comic it’s not inherently canon. this includes my own posts that aren’t just explanations of things that are in/relevant to the events of SOHAE. Playlists are canon and fics are canon as indicated.
What is the time span/timeline of SOHAE?
There’s no precise timeline for SOHAE but around/over 2 years from start to finish
please note: the characters in SOHAE are based on my interpretation of the book descriptions. the initial art for SOHAE was started prior to casting announcements and when Walker was casted the decision was made to ignore the tv cast regardless of who was chosen due to the young age of the actors and the fact that SOHAE skews mature in content. its my personal belief that there can be multiple equally canon versions of the same character especially as adaptions come out and i do not tolerate anyone who dismisses the casting or describes book versions as the “true” version, these comments will be removed immediately and the people will be blocked from all blogs.
(canon will follow the cast more, art for fics will follow whichever version is described by the author, thank you for understanding 🫶)
