There's something in Finn wolfhard being a breakout star in s1 and humongous names like Steven Spielberg saying that the kids changed the limitations of child acting bc they're so good. And then suddenly Finn wolfhard after S4 being known generally as the worst one, as the guy who can't act, just "not as good" as everyone else. Because of the monologue. The monologue the writers praised and hyped up as his best work, as something they didn't know if he could do bc he hadn't ever done it before, generally something they were really proud of.

So, if his supposed "best work" is something that people come away from feeling like it's his worst? That means there's a disconnect in the way the writers are looking at the scene vs the way the general audience sees it, which is funny bc if we look at that scene at face value, he's confessing his love. So if theres something deeper about the scene that changes the meaning, that changes that scene from bad acting to great acting, from a love confession to...

Probably the biggest ship in general when it comes to the main show/fandom atm, and given their concept as two broken, messed up souls from different social classes steadily catching feelings as they use the other for their own gain, its def got some interesting potential going for it when put in good writing hands (*which I was kiiiiinda hoping would be the case following what happened in "Ozzie's"... buuut then S2 happened and now idk? glkjk .w.;*)

For the most part, I'd generally say my view of the Sto/litz ship is just kinda... "neutral" atm? In a way where its like I can "take it or leave it" depending on how/where its written-

Genuine question is a non-rude way, how did sadie get robbed off from a nomination? most of her nice acting happened in vol1. both sadie and millie were already eligible for vol1 nominations as far as i know, but they still did not get nominated. there is just no way for them to be nominated especially when you put them in a competitions against other actresses like Julia Garner and Patricia Arquette. ST is just not that great of a show to be nominated for anything anymore aside from editing/sound/stunt double stuff that are side-nominations rather than main. And it certainly doesnt deserve to win even in editing department with that shitty cgi, sorry not sorry.

So far, it hasn't hampered my enjoyment (I tend to be p chill with spoilers). It is quickly becoming one of my favorite series (and a personal fave among the Sherlock Holmes adaptations).
