- i know max and chloe weren't in the same grade but i just know chloe was the loud ass kid in kindergarten who probably had rabies so in an attempt to shut her up the teacher made her sit with the quietest kid in recess who's only friend was her own teddy bear aka little max. this plan backfired tho bc chloe just ended up being 10x more talkative considering how it didn't take too long for her to realize that oh. she liked making the quiet kid laugh so now she's doing the wackiest shit to impress her. they finally got max to talk tho so that's a win

- ok but i just think chloe likes to carry max's bag for her whenever it gets a little heavy <33 most of the time it's a loving gesture, sometimes it's the guilt bc chloe also likes shoving her things in her gf's bag whenever her pockets are full like the masc lesbian she is

- joyce definitely once had to sit baby chloe down to explain how "girls can't marry each other yet sweetie" which only made her tantrum worse bc she kept demanding she had to marry max so they could live together someday and so william officiated their "wedding" in their backyard (i made a fic for this hc btw)

- taking this chance to spread my chloe anime stan hc like max may have had her pirate phase due to watching pirates and of the carribean but chloe got that shit from fuckin one piece

- hc that sometimes chloe would tie or pin a high ass balloon on max's hoodie so she wouldn't lose her in a crowd or even in the grocery aisle bc she tends to wander off a lot without saying a word like chloe would blink once and suddenly her gf is in a whole different store (13 yr old chloe blinked once and suddenly max was in a whole different state so yeah. she's not letting max's nosy ass out of her sight again)

- kind of an nsfw hc but chloe would totally be the type to make asking consent sexy like she knows max is new to all this stuff and so she always ask things like "is this okay?" "can i kiss you?" "may i?"

- max and chloe would absolutely do the "five second kiss" rule whenever they're fighting or when things are getting a little tense like chloe refuses to do it sometimes (even though it was her idea) bc she can't function properly when angry but she'd always end up laughing and smiling at the kiss in the end

- chloe is more verbally affectionate like so much so, the urge to tell max she misses her anytime max doesn't answer her text for more than 5 minutes gets stronger and stronger everyday

hey friend, I saw ur reblog about dvd commentary on a fic and I wanted to ask about how you came up the ideas for the Cycle of the Serpent!

hey there!!!! <33 eeee i'm so glad you sent this, i love talking abt some of the concepts for the fic

mainly it started off kinda as a "fuck around and find out" idea. like, what would happen if there was more than one LDB, and what would that be like? what would they be like, dynamic-wise? what decisions would they make and how would that impact the storyline? then the characters kinda formed themselves. i've had some original projects with similar characters, so they already had some firm roots in my brain, but this took a whole different direction. plus this song was a major influence, especially with three distinct verses i could ascribe to the trio. i dont know how to explain it, but sometimes a story just exists fully-formed in your head, and you have to chip away at all the excess around it to carve out what's underneath. i know all the reasons behind decisions these characters are making and why being the LDB is uniquely challenging to all three of them, but i just have to get there.

so as for bachelors i don’t like / aren’t willing to write for—i wouldn’t say i feel that way about any of them. i’ll write for all of them, my hc posts being proof of that.

if i had to go in order of which bachelor i liked the most…i mean…harvey. duh. (no one’s surprised.)

in my very first post, i just kinda started writing with whoever came to mind first, i didn’t really put it into an order of who i like most / least. that order has always stuck with me (harvey, sam, shane, sebastian, alex, elliot) just cus i think the organization looks nice. although i feel like i accidentally conditioned myself into making that the actual order of who i like most to least😭😭😭

writing for harvey just gets my creative juices flowing, u know. i just love writing for him cus he’s the literal embodiment of my type LMFAO.

i love sam because he and i are veerryyyy similar. at least in the way that i hc him. plus he’s the bachelor that i’m most close with in age, so i just love him a lot.

tbh, shane isn’t my type in the slightest. i’ve never once married him in game, but for some reason i think he’s really fun to write sometimes. i mostly dickride the fanon version of him tho, i feel like if i stuck with canon i’d get bored (i sound like a horrible person😭😭) he’s got a very interesting storyline and he actually has character, so i like that a lot.

i definitely like sebastian more then shane as a bachelor tbh. i’ve always been more drawn to people that are shy and reserved and he’s exactly like that. i think he has a really interesting storyline that makes it enjoyable to write with.

as for alex, i actually love him believe it or not😭😭 i like how he’s a lowkey asshole, super self centered and stuff but he’s genuinely oblivious to it. like some of his dialogue where he’s just outright a dick & he doesn’t even realize it makes me laugh so hard. the one where he talks abt how he doesn’t want to donate his shoes bc he doesn’t like the idea of someone else WEARING HIS SHOES & then he just says “…what?” afterwards like…i can appreciate the humor. i think his backstory might be my favorite just because i can relate to it. he’s a genuine guy who tries to hide behind his masculinity, and by definition i don’t really gravitate towards those kinds of people, but i like him a lot.

and elliot…lol ok. it’s not that i don’t like him, that’s not it at all. i think he’s sweet, and i always enjoy getting my hearts up with him—but he’s definitely my least favorite to write. that’s only because he’s just kinda…there. lol. he doesn’t have a backstory, or much backbone to write with. i mean, we both have similar interests obviously, i love to write too, but that’s just about it that i have in common with him LMFAO. i can understand why people like him tho, so i won’t stop writing for him. i’m also open to getting to know him more, don’t get me wrong. i just haven’t.

so to answer ur question anon (cus i got WAY too carried away lol) i’ll write for any of them. but i guess, if i got an ask only to write for elliot…i might not AND IM SO SORRY ABOUT THAT!!!!!!!

i usually write whenever i feel entertained by the prompt, or when i feel extra creative, so who’s to say that i’ll never write for elliot stand-alone.

if someone wanted me to write for harvey and i just wasn’t very interested by the idea, then i probably wouldn’t do that either. i wish i had the drive to write like other people can, but i really only write if i’m enjoying what i’m writing.

SVCKSBCJ I'M KIDDING but yeah to me canon to me seems stuck in between treating hakuno as a character of her own but also a self insert even though the entire Point of her character was becoming a person of her own. this is especiaally prominent in later instalments methinks (the way they don't even refer to her by her name "hakuno kishinami" in her character description and just call her "master" or "heroine"....... some crimes cannot be forgiven actually-) so, well, i'll still try to keep up to date on canon hakuno content but i lost hope in it ever feeding me the hakuno content i crave 💔

I just read "let us love each other until the end" on AO3 and had to run to gush about it. The bathroom scene, with Toge signing "I'm sorry" in Japanese over and over is one of the most beautiful pieces of literature I have ever read. (I should preface this with I am deaf lol) There's a certain intimacy with signing wholeheartedly like you described, and I can tell how much work you put into researching how to convey signing while writing and I really appreciate it. <3

HIII first of all I'm so sorry for getting to this sooo late but pls know I've thought abt it countless times since you sent it in & it makes me so 🥰💗🥹 I'm really glad you liked it so much!!! I think the bathroom scene is like. one of my most favourite scenes ever written. and him sitting on a stool in a bathtub, staring at the ground, hair soaking wet, was the only thought I had going in to write that fic lmao

also I'm like. over the moon at how that kind of intimacy came through!! for me bathrooms have always been this kind of safe space where you're free with your own thoughts. you're like an open wound but you can control what infects it (you) - you can let in whoever you want. and inumaki doesn't /want/ to let the reader in, per se, but he bears the pain and lets them in anyway. and I think there's this added vulnerability that comes with being so exposed (literally and figuratively lol) in a bathroom when you're not alone and your safe space isn't just yours anymore. and it's like he's at his lowest and he feels useless and pathetic and utterly unlovable but he's already let you in so now he thinks you should stay. the damage has been done and now he wants you stay. despite it all. is that too much to ask for? that you stay even though you know he's not worth it? he finds himself desperately clinging to the hope that you say no. that you shut the door behind yourself and you lather shampoo in your hands and you tell him that he doesn't even need to ask. there's just something so needy, so pleading in his repetition. his begging the reader to look at me. please look at me. please don't leave me, too.
