#and less Enid vibes

Trying to research a bit for a story and I'm starting to think what I'm looking for doesn't exist. I don't want the opinions of the people in charge or the ones who happily drink the kool-aid. Give me the disgruntled pelicans and assholes who tell it like it is, but oh no! All I'm getting is the Pollyanna bullshit...

Wait.. what really is lycanthropy conversion therapy..?
Because Enid seemed really upset over something that would supposedly help her with something she was really worried about
Like, she wanted to wolf out before she actually did, but I guess the show was also trying to go with the queer conversion therapy vibes, but.. it's just confusing, honestly, the more I think about it.
The less it makes sense.. is it an environment where she'll be forced to be a wolf in a way she doesn't want to? Is it a situation where gorey and heteronormative things are pushed on her? That's just a headcanon I can come up with to make it make sense
Her mom did give passivly homophobic vibes, giving her the conversion therapy stuff.. maybe Enid is bi? A lesbian? Maybe she's doing things differently to how they're normally done?
We don't have much of a reference for werewolf culture and behaviour in this universe, but the most coherent thing I can string together is that because Enid is uncomfortable with gore and is giving gay vibes, she doesn't look like she could make a straight relationship last with a male mate, and she can't go hunting if she faints at the sight of blood
But she did transform and get covered in blood for Wednesday, so.. idk.. It's giving something

reader is wednesdays sister and wednesday is dating enid and because of it,wednesday has been giving reader less attention so reader gets upset and avoids wednesday. wednesday notices it, and confronts reader by pinning them against a wall in a classroom full of students. and the students watched as wednesday shouts at reader for ignoring her.
Your request is very detailed but okay. I changed it a bit because I don't want to give a suspicious vibe here...
It's a sibling thing
Wednesday Addams x Sibling Reader
Warning: Probably shouting, annoying older siblings...i don't know...
Tumblr media
Being Wednesday Addams's sibling comes with its pros and cons. The second Wednesday was born a minute earlier than you, she got the title of being the 'older' sister, you as the younger sibling, and Pugsley as the youngest.
One of the pros would be you were taller than them. You had advantages for sure. Despite being taller Wednesday always treated you way better than Pugsley, he always gets tortured by Wednesday and you are the middle man, always trying to defuse any type of war they have. Even when they do that, you were sure they care for each other.
So it wasn't a surprise when Wednesday unleashed some of your piranhas in the pool, where Pugsley's bullies were swimming after they locked him inside a locker. Your parents were glad it was Wednesday who caught the bullies and not you because then they'll have to deal with a murder case.
To avoid criminal charges, both of you were sent to Nevermore Academy. Of course, your sister got placed in Ophelia Hall with a Werewolf roommate and you got a room for yourself just two doors away from her. Now Wednesday wasn't keen to leave you alone, because she always wanted to know what you were up to, always behind every step you make, every breath you take, and everything you do. She needs to be there, but ever since she got close to her roommate. Her attention was now on Enid.
You didn't mind at all, tho you did miss her at some point, but being alone wasn't that bad. You had time for yourself. You are free from your sister's judging gaze. You were able to find your interests and made a schedule to try everything out.
You were so busy with yourself, that you forgot about Wednesday. Your schedule was so packed with activities you wanted to try, that you didn't realize Wednesday was trying to reach out to you. She was already mad mad, when she got hold of you at the quad.
Wednesday: Y/N Friday Addams, would you stop ignoring me!
You got the shock of your life when you heard her shout. It wasn't loud but it was full of authority— it almost felt like Principal Weems called you. You turned around to look at her, you also felt everybody's gaze on you two. You swallowed the clump building in your throat before you speak.
Y/N: I'm not ignoring you, Wednesday.
Wednesday: I have been trying to talk to you, but you kept avoiding me. Is it because of Enid? Are you jealous? Addams don't feel envy.
You furrowed your brows at her statement. You took a step forward gathering all your courage.
Y/N: First of all. Do not put words into my mouth. Second. I don't know what you're talking about, I have been busy trying stuff out that interests me, that I could not try while having you behind my back, snooping. Third I am truly thankful to Enid to take your attention away from me and if you have any other problems with me, please make an appointment.
You took another step forward using your height as an advantage, and you look down at her. Your gaze was sharp, she never saw you use it, at least not to her — with your last phrase, you turned around and marched off to your next activity.
Wednesday was too stunned to speak.

I have a question, why many people who like Wenclair make Enid more masculine? That wasn't really the vibe I got in canon. Masculine, as in draw her masculine, not whatever stereotypes there are. I mean, literally, she's as feminine as they go, just more or less athletic, why is that a thing for Wenclair? I can understand her wearing more practical clothing in some instances but that's not masculine, that's just convenience. I'm talking about actually sketching her as if she's a dude. I have nothing against it, but I'm unsure about why this happens?

I am surprised how much I loved it. I was gonna watch one episode per day but I failed and watched all 3 in one day.
Warning: Spoilers
I'm disappointed Clancy Brown and Patrick Schwarzenegger's character died in the first freaking episode but it wouldn't be The Boys without someone getting killed. Hopefully we'll see them in the flashback or something.
Honestly Emma is giving me Enid Sinclair (Wednesday Addams' roommate) vibe except more adult. I was expecting her to do some sort of sexual act while small but didn't expect it to be hanging off a dick. That shit was funny as hell.
I really like Marie's character but I really hope they don't do a plot twist that she was born with the powers because it was already confirmed that Ryan from The Boys was the first. I hate it when spinoffs contradict the originals. I know they're in the same universe but not every fan of The Boys are going to watch Gen V. I think Marie's parents giving her Compound V would be more interesting because that might mean her sister got powers too. Maybe she's in the woods. I had no idea the actress played Rosalind on Chilling Adventure of Sabrina. She looks so different with the new hair style and glasses (less nerdy looking).
I thought Jordan Li was going to be my fav because their super power seem really cool but I honestly don't like them. Their personal story is interesting but I don't like them as a person. Maybe that'll change later on. Actually someone said they shipped them with Marie and I'm actually interested. I love enemies to lovers trope.
I honestly thought Cate was gonna be the typical popular girl but she's a good person. Well her sexual assaulting people isn't cool but hey it's The Boys.
Andre as a character is ok but his story line is very predicable. There had to be at least one parent on the show who knows whats going on. I have to give credit to the actor who plays the dad. I loved the way he was able to express himself with his eyes.
I feel like Sam is gonna be my new favorite adorkable character.
I'm sure everyone noticed how God U is short for Godolkin University but do you see how it plays into the supes god complex? I mentioned this before a long time ago how Vought must've taught Homelander that he's basically a god and superior to humans. This proves that all these supes are being brainwashed to believe this.

Wenclair is great as goth x pastels, sunshine x storm cloud, black cat x golden retriever, sun and moon life and death yin and yang etc etc etc-
BUT!
Have y’all considered how perfectly their vibes encapsulate:
✨ao3 gf x wattpad gf✨
Headcanons below! This got super long sorry not sorry!
Enid is SO a trashy unapologetic wattpad writer who uses text to speech to throw together her surprisingly popular fanfics
Wednesday is a sophisticated ao3 user who secretly enjoys getting constructive criticism of her novels and other short stories that she posts there
Enid is the typa author to reply to EVERY comment with heartfelt messages and plenty of emojis
Wednesday is the typa author to never reply to comments but deep down enjoys the kudos and compliments
Enid is a oneshot funshot queen, meanwhile Wednesday has several multi-chapter works going on at the same time
Enid has a super spontaneous updating schedule where she’ll post when she posts
Wednesday updates her works every Wednesday (on the nose I know) and follows a STRICT schedule, she has never missed an update day not fer anything ever
Enid prolly has a cutesy username like ‘kittygotclaws’ or smth idk I dont go on wattpad
Wednesday goes by ‘DaysEnd’ on ao3 and REALLY it's quite on the nose
Everyone knows of Enid's wattpad acc bc she openly talks about it even on her blog, everytime a fic hits some sorta milestone she flexes it to the whole friend group like some sorta proud soccer mom
Wednesday is SUPER SECRETIVE about her ao3 acc, Thing is the only soul who knows of it bc he helps beta read
DaysEnd being a rising ao3 fan favorite amongst the Nevermore student body omg so true so slay of you Miss Addams (she tells Thing she does not care for such popularity but deep down revels in people actually appreciating her work, unlike some publishers out there)
They really like her strong imagery, plot twists, and her stories are pretty gore-heavy but the narration is quite compelling (seriously, she goes so in depth on random macabre shit like different types of murders, ways to cover up said murders, poisons and upkeep on daggers and all this dark shit etc etc that a popular comment she’ll get is ‘hey not to be rude but whats your search history like because how do you KNOW all this??’)
Meanwhile Enid mainly writes fanfics of her fav kpop bands and other OTPs that are often AUs or canon divergent heavy, sometimes she’ll pop off with the most hilarious fanfic that is pure CRACK
That being said, Enid’s works have some pretty damn good dialogue I just know it in my bones that she’s a character driven type of writer
Her emotional introspection is also? Surprisingly good?? Like damn when the feels hit they HIT, Enid is definitely the type to write the fluffest fluff, the angstiest angst, and the most cathartic hurt/comfort you’ll ever read if you make the conscious decision to look past her occasional grammatical errors and other typos
Wednesday’s original works, on the other hand, definitely aren't as much of a heartthrob, they’re probably more plot driven with less space for overly descriptive emotional scenes (both writing styles are valid as hell, mind you)
One day Enid discovers Wednesday’s secret ao3 and lives to tell the tale because deep down Miss Addams is a GAY GAY HOMOSEXUAL GAY
In exchange for keeping hush hush, Wednesday has to become Enid’s full-time beta reader for every. Single. Fic.
Wednesday HATES such drivel but agrees to such terms in order to keep her secret safe, much to Thing’s teasing delight over how soft she is for her fellow writer (“For producing such literary muck, she does not even deserve the privilege to tarnish such a title.” “I know what you are, Wednesday.” “What kind of threat is that?”)
I mean that being said, Wednesday gets low key invested in the sapphic otp fanfics Enid seems to have a penchant for writing when the fic isn’t kpop centered, her interest stems from uh nooooo reassooonnn noshutupThingthisdoesntmeananything-
When Enid brings up branching out to writing about OCs like Wednesday does-
Wednesday hates fandom terms like ‘OCs’ btw
-Wednesday encourages Enid to branch out in a very… Wednesdayish way
Like, she’s supportive but you gotta unpeel at least three layers of deflection and deadpanning to get to the real meaning
So yeah!! Enid branches out and starts writing silly little oneshots about various OCs, and if Wednesday notes that all of the stories revolve around gay characters, and if Thing notices how invested Wednesday gets in these silly little sapphics to point where he keeps commenting on it….
Andddd that’s the story of how Enid came back to the dorm with Thing being locked up in the drawer while Wednesday is burying her face in her pillow in what looks like a half-hearted attempt of suffocating herself
Anyways Wednesday’s repressed ass starts to ‘vent’ in her fanfics, if people start noticing DaysEnd incorporating more romance into their works no they don't stfu
It gets to the point where she ‘confesses’ to Enid by having Viper confesses to this new bubbly character that was recently introduced (“These feelings you have plagued me with, you make me sick,” said Viper, “And for my sake, I hope there is no cure.”)
Enid, with a lot I mean a metric fuckton of persuasion from Thing, eventually picks up on this and confesses back
Cue Wednesday beta reading Enid’s latest wattpad work and noticing how it’s about two polar opposite roomates who somehow make it work, and when the cheery one says to the gloomy one, “I also hope there’s no cure for the way I feel about you” it suddenly all clicks for Wednesday
Anyways fanfic gfs who slay together stay together <333

Wenclair prompt
Enid checks herself into a mental health facility after her life implodes around her. There she meets a variety of misfits and outcasts of all kinds. Like Yoko who thinks she's a vampire but is otherwise BFF material, or Ajax who has next to no long term memory retention. There's also Bianca, the lady who runs group therapy, and the creepy orderly Thorpe who is always simping after her.
Things don't really change from day to day, and Enid can feel herself start to turn a new leaf. Then the whole vibe of the place changes overnight when Wednesday Addams is brought back to Nevermore. After that, Enid's whole world seems to narrow down to Wednesday, the achingly beautiful goth of her dreams.
Wednesday, who is fantastic at escaping the facility but has spent so long in confinement that she tends to struggle without the structure, ending with inevitable recapture.
Wednesday, who is convinced someone in the building is trying to kill her over a conspiracy that got her falsely locked away in the first place.
Wednesday, who puts trust in Enid as a stranger with no previous ties or grudges against her and drags her into what is seeming like less of a crazy conspiracy by the day.
Wednesday, whom the groundskeeper swears is a kind person if you talk to her like a human instead of a psychopath. And if you can't trust the guy who brings in homemade honey, who can you trust?

THE GODDAMN TENSION OH MY LORD IT WAS DELICIOUS!! DELIGHTFUL!! I'M ALL IN FOR THE CHOCKING
Sometimes, less is more and it may have been less spicy but it's a vibe that I dig nonetheless. T&t Enid being vulnerable is my weakness.
Thanks again mate for this, it was grand
We love Enid actually asking instead of following in her family's steps and making Wednesday do what she wants
Still want to show that while Enid is definitely alot more forward, she still makes sure to not cross any boundaries like before
And Anytime dude :) glad I could serve and I genuinely miss them so it was a fun opportunity

Hi, I just wanna say that I love your wenclair fics so much and thank you for sharing them to us! 🥰
That being said, idk if someone already asked this but what are the top 5 fics you love that you've written and the top 5 fics you love that are written by others?
Thank you so much!!!
My favorite fics I've written:
Bad Night - First wenclair fic, and I have a very distinct memory of the moment when my brain broke a little as I realized oh. I think I just got into Wednesday Addam's head. Oh. That's not great.
Leviathan - barely a fic, but I'm proud of how much I did with so little. It was written as a byproduct of the aforementioned moment when writing Bad night. I feel like I didn't so much write it as vomit it.
The Nine Ghosts of Felicia Hardy - My first silkcat fic is perhaps a bit messy because it's written as a divergence from a specific comic book issue, but this one was where I really started getting into how I would write the characters interacting.
Zugzwang - my favorite of my Silkcat fics, where I think I found my favorite things to do with them.
The Scorpion's Nature - here to rep my darker fics. Writing this was a bit of a nightmare and I didn't think it was going to get done, but it ended up happening and I'm happy about that.
Honorable mention to Because, because I wish I could write a million Tanthamore novels, but I just don't have it in me. This is all I could give them, and I kinda hate that, because it's barely a fic.
As for fics written by others:
This is a bit awkward, but I don't read THAT many fics, and the more I write for a pairing, the less I read for them, because I'm already getting my fix from my own brain.
There's also a bunch of fics I've lost track of because it's been years and because I never bookmarked or subscribed to them because I'm terrible at that and they were complete. This especially applies to Pricefield.
So, with all that in mind:
Exposure, a Holstein fic by Makeme123. I'm incredibly glad it's available again, and I rushed to download it in case it's hidden once more.
The Road to Home also Holstein by Makeme123. I'm sorry they just write straight up novels with such good structure and so many great moments.
Raven in the den, wolf in the nest, a Wenclair fic by Barbara_Lazuli - I think it's no secret that barb and I just vibe with each other's work, we have some similar ideas about what Wenclair, and especially Enid I think, could/should be like. This one is long, nicely structured, and very fun.
In Due Time, a Holstein fic by lizardwriter - this is a bit of a weird one, but it's here because I used to be incapable of reading second-person fics, and then I read this and it was like a switch flipped because this fic really HAD to be written in second person. This led me to write some interesting stuff in second person (one is not a fic, another one is a korrasami fic and let's leave it at that).
Danse Macabre, a Wenclair fic by Cruci_fics. It's here to represent all of their wenclair fics tbh, they're all short and sweet, very good stuff, and it's what kept us sane during the early days.
There's a million more I wish I could mention and I can't remember. I've read. So much Holstein.

If Enid and Ajax were to have kids, would their kids be either a gorgon or a werewolf, or would they (or some of them) be a mix of both?? How would that work?? Would they be werewolves with snake hair or would it be a weirder, less straight forward kind of mix?? Would that affect their kids in weird ways?? Could it cause straight up health issues?? Would being hybrids cause their kids to be ostracized by the other Outcasts? Is there a stigma against interspecies relationships, that would automatically be passed down to their kids?? How would their families in particular handle that?? Like I already get the vibe both Enid's and Ajax's families might not approve of their relationship (at least Enid for sure, idk for sure about Ajax, but that's the vibes I get, and it makes their relationship juicier if his family doesn't approve either), but what more if they have hybrid children?
Dang we need to see this explored. Interspecies relationships in general but also this. How would it work??? I'm betting if hybrids DO exist, they'd be kind of rare but not nonexistent at least. I mean, it's impossible that they'd be the first, right??

https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS88Po33o/
here's the TikTok and my thought about Xavier is a toxic over obsessive person.
talk less and read this.
Tumblr media
i kinda understand part of Xavier's reactions when he got declined and turned down by Wednesday. I'll be frustrating too, for the fact getting decline by the one you love and also the fact of failed to let them know my true feelings.
But, Xavier never quit.
We all know Wednesday saved him when they were 6, probably that's the exact moment Xavier fall for her. Then he waited for years to reunite with Wednesday.
Wednesday chose Tyler not him, i think it's reasonable for Xavier to be frustrating. I think, at least he and Wednesday is on the same level.
Let me elaborate:
the interact between Wednesday Enid and Wednesday Xavier is kinda same, but also not the same.
Wednesday and Enid more like a sisterhood/bestie to me. Enid wants to soften Wednesday edges, but Xavier will be the one to point out Wednesday (like what Bianca did but also not).
About Wednesday and Xavier, their relationship reminds me of when Millie working with Henry Cavill. What i mean is, i can sense maturity in Wednesday and Xavier's dialogue.
idk, i just having a feeling like Xavier never shows afraid of having argument with Wednesday. I know, Enid and Wednesday has a big fight too, but it's not the same vibe.
Xavier will says what he wants to say and what he feels toward Wednesday (which sometimes will sounds a bit hurtful).
the fight scenes Wednesday with Enid, and Wednesday with Xavier is so look alike but also not.
The vibe, the vibe is different, although they feel same.
----------
i wish there's someone will understand what I'm talking about. This has been sitting in my mind for too long.

What amazes me most about Wednesday is how the show manages to be so good when so much of it is objectively just kind of crap. Not terrible crap, but kind of lack-lustre and easily dismissed and ignored. But somehow it manages to pull something great out of that.
The most obvious thing is that in tone and vibes, it largely ignores what the Addams family is, how they work and what they stand for. It's actually horror, not horror comedy, and it isn't really any contrast to what we consider normal life. Which is explained in-universe, sure, but I'm not actually convinced that it's the most interesting thing they could have done.
Its setting in a store brand Hogwarts is hardly original. They themed it around Edgar Allan Poe, for seemingly no reason other than that he's cool (I don't think he was a founder or alumni, and he certainly doesn't super relevant thematically). There's the vague idea of "what if Hogwarts had american high school cliques", which they don't do anything with. Harry Potter is nowadays much maligned and for very good reasons, but it did know how to make its fictional school seem interesting, deep and mysterious, and Wednesday is very lacking there. The biggest issue is that we don't spend enough time exploring the various students and their deals. We do it a bit, but it could have been more.
The wider world building creates the idea that the world has "norms" and "weirdos", which seems to be the officially accepted nomenclature, and treats them almost as if they were different sub-species. Some people are just born "weirdo", from "weirdo" families, and that's how it is. That's basic urban fantasy stuff - very basic, in fact. And again, it's not that interesting, and the show doesn't do anything with it. A key bit of classic Addams lore is that they consider themselves to be normal, and everyone else a bit weird, and thus question our ideas of what is and isn't normal. In Wednesday, these things are clearly delineated, which helps with the oppressive tone of the show, but makes it overall less deep.
And then there is the murder mystery, which is the big driver of the plot. Except it's barely a murder mystery at all. Everything we learn is because the main character has a vision that just tells them a key bit of background, or where the next important scene will be set, or, eventually, who the murderer is. Things barely ever flow, and there is very little deducting and reasoning; we just get told stuff. Again, it's not terrible, none of this is, but it could be better.
As for things that are actually terrible, I think enough has been written about the love triangle already. It never feels like Wednesday is ever interested in either the boys (her bond with Eugene is considerably stronger and more important). I think what goes underappreciated in discussions of the love triangle is that both boys are suspects in the murder mystery, and remain so until the final episode. As a result, there is always a certain distance. We don't ever actually get comfortable with any of them; we're always supposed to be wary and keep our distance, and indeed, Wednesday does. In the end, we totally get why the boys are in love with her (how could you not be? Just look at her dancing), but she barely shows any signs of attraction, and they certainly never become close friends. That's not the only problem, but it really doesn't help.
But despite this the show works anyway, because while the overall plot is a bit meh, the moment to moment stuff and in particular the actors are just stellar. Jenny Ortega: Amazing. Gwendoline Christie: Love her, she should be in everything. Thing is just perfect. And while the show drops the ball on the official romance, they really nail the relationship between Wednesday and Enid, the emotional cornerstone of the whole show. I just love watching these two together.
In the end, we have the kind of show where I logically agree with basically every single mean-spirited criticism I've ever seen about it, but at the same time I love it with my whole heart. Because it is flawed on a high level, but it nails everything in the details.

thoughts on wednesday, spoilers ahead:
• i don’t think they should’ve been conflict between wednesday and morticia, it was pointless since we didn’t really get to dig into it more but also i’ve always like that they were a happy and loving family.
• the love triangle between wednesday, xavier and tyler was stupid, she had no chemistry with either one. tbh they had more chemistry with each other! wednesday doesn’t even know how to have friends let alone date and she clearly had no interest in dating, i think her not having any love interests in high school makes the most sense or being aro/ace but also bianca x wednesday…i see the vision (won’t happen but 🤞🏾)
• enid’s conversion therapy/wolfing out plot line was ?? i’m curious if other ppl found it offensive or not, i just thought it was odd like i get it but yeah idk. also enid a lesbian? i could see it but i liked her and ajax maybe bi? but anyhow, with wednesday i don’t get anything but bestie vibes
• i don’t think they should’ve killed off weems, i liked her character and it would’ve been fun to see more morticia and gomez interactions with her.
• best part about the series was jenna ortega as wednesday, i think the whole addams family casting was great! i would love to see more pugsley
• ppls issue with gomez addams casting is so obviously about the fact they don’t find him attractive and idk why you need too?? also seen ppl say morticia and gomez don’t have chemistry but that the younger versions did?? and they had even less screen time which further cements my theory that it’s cos they don’t find gomez attractive. i think they should’ve either been shown less or more, i don’t think we got enough to gage their chemistry or wether they were miscast tbh
minor complaint i do have is morticia addams makeup, idk why but it looked heavy and i didn’t like the lipstick choice

Series Masterlist
Previous Chapter
Over the next few days not much happened. The only key part is that the mayor had been killed. It had been someone in a blue cadillac, a hit and run. This has pushed the police even more than before, facing public outcry by the residents of Jericho.
Évangéline had been in Enid and Wednesday's room, already being apart of the latters plans.
"I've been thinking about my less-than-enthusiastic response to your surprise soirée." Wednesday spoke, opposite Enid and Évangéline, still having a less-than-enthusiastic response. "And I must admit, I regret not showing my gratitude towards you more appropriately."
This perked Enid up from her position on the bed. "You really mean it?" Enid asked, swaying her shoulders.
"Take the win, Enid." Évangéline rested a hand on Enid. Making sure Enid's attention was else where, Évangéline gave Wednesday a nod.
"If only there were a way for us to get off campus and have a little birthday redo." Wednesday took the hint. "Just me, you and Évangéline. Too bad the school is on lockdown."
Évangéline walked towards the window, Wednesday and Enid following in tow. "Would you look at that full moon..."
This had given Enid an idea. "Oh, how about I say I'm about to wolf out and get a pass to the lupin cages? And say you two volunteered to lock me in."
"My deviousness has finally rubbed off on you." Enid chuckled at Wednesday's words. "Thing? You know what to do right?" Thing did a thumbs up, pausing hud rubix cube.
The girls began to leave, but Enid had an idea. "Oh, we should wear our snoods!"
"Don't worry Evan, I have a purple one I was going to give you."
"Oh, I believe I left mine at fencing." Wednesday fawned remorse.
"Well, I don't have one so I wouldn't be able to join in." Évangéline shrugged her shoulders.
"Don't worry Evan, I have a purple one I was going to give you." Enid waves off Évangéline. "And actually, Wednesday, you left yours at the Weathervane. Luckily, Bianca brought it back." Enid held out two snoods towards her friends.
"Like a monkey's paw." Wednesday took the snood, soon followed by Évangéline.
The three girls left the room, Enid leading the way, missing the small high five shared between Wednesday and Évangéline, and eye roll.
Wednesday had organised a ride, that ride being Tyler. Évangéline had always gotten weird vibes from him every time they were in contact, he was always so awkward with her every time she goes to Weathervane.
Enid and Évangéline got into the car after Wednesday, seeing their driver. "Wait, he's our Uber driver?" Enid asks.
"Uber driver?" Tyler looked back at Enid and Évangéline then to Wednesday. "I thought we weee going in a date?"
"I thought this was a girls' night out." Enid complained in the back.
"There's been a change of plans." Wednesday explained, not looking at the two.
"What's up with the weird matching hoodie scarf things?" Tyler asked another question, sparring Évangéline a glance.
"Don't ask." Wednesday interrupted. "Just drive."
Meanwhile, a figure was making his way towards Wednesday and Enid's dorm window. "Hey, Wednesday?" Xavier called through the window, rapping his knuckles on the glass. "Are you guys in here?" He took a deep breath. "I know it's a bit weird that you saw the drawing of Évangéline, but I just want to talk to you for a second."
Nothing was answering him, yet he heard typing. Opening the window, he saw it was Thing typing. "Where is she Thing? Is she with Angel?"
The four arrives at the gates of the Gates mansion. "Seriously, you wanna go in there." Enid asks in disbelief. "This place is creepy AF."
"I know." Wednesday was suppressing a smile.
"Okay. This isn't what I signed up for." Tyler refused.
"Ditto." Enid agreed.
"It could be...fun." Évangéline suggested, earning a look from Enid and Tyler.
"You were in on this?" Enid's jaw dropped.
"I didn't want to celebrate my birthday by going to dinner or a surprise party." Wednesday saved Évangéline. "I want to do this." She had unlocked the gate.
"Then you shoulda just said so. You didn't have to trick us." Tyler tried to reason.
"If either of you want to go, you can." Wednesday began to walk away, Évangéline following. "We are going to check out the garage."
All four had reached the garage door, just to see it was locked. Both Tyler and Wednesday had tried, both failed.
"Can I try?" Enid asked, looking at Évangéline and Wednesday; both giving her a nod. With just a few tugs, the door broke open.
The garage was dark and dingy. Évangéline had found a light, revealing a covered car. The flickering lights covered up, but failed, the colour of the car; blue.
"That's the car that hit the mayor." Enid's voice spoke from behind Wednesday. "Okay. This just took a dark turn. We need to call Tyler's dad right freaking now."
"Why?" Wednesday asked, not wanting the sheriff to be involved. "So he can take me back to Nevermore and get me expelled? It's not gonna happen."
Making their way deeper into the house, they knew it had been abandoned. The dust particles were floating around, spider webs decorated corners.
"This is the night I'm gonna die." Évangéline's corroer voice quivered. She had been happy in the beginning, but she doesn't know what she got herself into.
Slowly, they entered a room full of cobwebs and antlers; it seemed to be someone's study. All four were looking around for anything that could be what they were looking for.
Wednesday had pressed something on the bookshelf; revealing a painting, showing the hatred towards outcasts. "Who doesn't have a spooky built in altar in their family library?" Évangéline sarcastically asked no one in particular.
"Ours is in the living room." Wednesday drawled, earning a look from Évangéline, Enid and Tyler. "More seating for year long Día de los muertos."
The candles along the bottom of the painting caught Évangéline's eyes. Walking up to them, she felt them; lifting her hand back up, she eyed the residue and turned around. "They're still warm."
"Tyler and Évangéline, you check the rest of the ground floor." Wednesday ordered. "Enid and I will search upstairs." Enid and Wednesday walked off, leaving Tyler and Évangéline.
Both Tyler and Évangéline stayed together. That was until they approached two rooms. "I go left." Évangéline shone a light towards the left side of the hallway. "You go,"
"Right." Tyler finished, both shining a torch to the right side of the hallway.
Évangéline was finally alone. Not that she wanted to in these circumstances, yet she enjoyed it. The room was one of the bigger rooms, seems like it had been a living room.
She had finished in that room, not seeing anything notable, and made her way to Tyler's room. "Tyler?" She asked, not seeing him in the kitchen. Looking around, she didn't see the table and walked into it. Causing something to fall and to shatter.
Using her powers, she lifted it up and saw it was newly bought flowers. Hearing another shatter, she turned. Seeing nothing, she continued to inspect the flowers.
The sound of growling was prominent, almost like the growling she had heard on outreach day. Turning around to could see the heavy breathing monster she had seen many times; that being once in person and many paintings by Xavier. The hot breath was prominent and the smell of blood was lingering.
Forcing herself out of the shocked trance, she turned to run away. This was halted as the monster had sunk its claws into her shoulder. "Run!" She shouted, her voice hoarse showing her pain.
Holding her left hand to her right shoulder, she could feel the blood loss. Tyler's voice could finally be heard, "Guys! Get out! It's here!" The slashes she had not long heard was prominent and was followed with a scream from Tyler.
She had ran up the stairs to see Enid and Wednesday, "The dum waiter. Go!" She winced multiple times, holding her arm tighter.
The deep footsteps were making their way up the stairs, following the three girls. Finding themselves in the dumbwaiter, the monster was only a few steps behind.
The repetitive oh my god was being whispered by Enid, who was behind her, got more prominent when she saw the mess of Évangéline's shoulder. Then it was silent, no growling, no panicking, no movement.
"Ah!" Enid screamed as the monster started roaring loudly, shaking the weak stability of the house. Évangéline would've been screaming, only she wasn't so focused of passing out. "Not your snood!" Enid whisper shouted as Wednesday used her black snood to hold the entrance closed. The monster was getting incredibly angry, the girls know this because of the claw marks made, showing the angry look it had.
The fraying of the rope, holding them up, was echoing in the almost silent dum waiter. Both Enid and Évangéline started screaming as the rope snapped, pushing the girls down multiple floors it seemed like.
Rolling out into a lab sort of place, the confusion was prominent. The thundering footsteps caused fallout underneath the monster, making Enid Évangéline and Wednesday run for the window.
Just as Enid was about to go outside, the door of the basement had been busted open. Enid was safely outside, Évangéline and Wd essay were still there.
"Wednesday! Come on!" Évangéline shouted over the monsters footsteps.
"What are you doing?" Enid pushed the window open, wondering why her two friends hadn't joined her.
"These are the body parts from the monster's victims." Wednesday was too involved, both girls needed to leave.
"Wednesday!" Évangéline looked at the monster, seeing the monster pull over a shelf. "We need to go now!" The pain was less prominent in her arm, as she was more worried about her and Wednesdays life.
Pushing Wednesday out before her, she was almost struck again by the monster. Landing in the floor, she tried to regulate her breathing. The three girls stood up, one wincing, as Wednesday looked at the other two. "You okay?"  Both Évangéline and Enid gave her a are you serious look.
"Since when do you care?" Enid voiced both of the girls, storming off. Following Enid, the pain was slowly coming back. Évangéline wiped the blood in her hand on the front of her jeans. "Wednesday what the hell are you doing?" Enid yelled at the black haired girl retreating to the house.
"We have to go back for Tyler!" She continued running. All Évangéline could think of was that Wednesday said we. We? She was bleeding out of her arm, literally five minutes ago she was struck by the monster that was in there.
They had found Tyler, heavy breathing and in the same condition she felt she was in. "Enid, hold this." Wednesday shoved her torch into Enid's hand, then tending to Tyler.
Slumping against the wall, wincing in immense pain, she just wanted to go back to Nevermore. Opening her eyes, she was met with someone she wouldn't expect to show up; Xavier.
"Where'd you come from?" Wednesday asked Xavier, turning her head away from Tyler.
He handed over his scarf for Tyler. "Here. Take this. "Looking past Tyler he saw Évangéline, pushing her head back and gritting her teeth. "Angel," his eyes softened, seeing his Angel holding her shoulder and was in obvious pain.
Cursing under his breath, as he didn't have anything he could put on her. Looking at her head, he saw the snood. Pulling the purple fabric off of her head, and holding her head up as it lulled to the side, he applied pressure to the wound. "What happened to them?" Xavier was met with silence.
The newly group of five had made their way to Tyler's house; Xavier driving, Enid in the passenger seat with Wednesday in the middle of the slumped Tyler and Évangéline.
In Tyler's living room, Wednesday had found butterfly stitches in the medical kit in his bathroom. Wednesday was patching up Tyler, Xavier with Évangéline. Because of the position of the slash, Évangéline had to remove her jumper and shirt. Her clothes were absolutely ruined. Covered in blood, and long cuts. She was utterly embarrassed.
Every time Évangéline winced Cavier would mutter a quick sorry. Xavier was shortly finished and looked at Évangéline with pity. She was holding her shredded bloody clothes to her chest and had dried tears underneath her eyes. Realising the situation she was in, he pulled off his coat and secured it around her shoulders.
Looking over she gave him a thankful smile and pulled her arms through the holes. "Not to make this about me, but i am having. A full blown panic attack right now." Enid's voice interrupted the moment between the two, eyes focused on something in the room. "We need to get back before Weems realises we've been gone."
Then, the door opened; making the teenagers look at the intruder. Seeing it was the sherif, Évangéline tightened the hold she had on Xavier's coat. "What the hell happened?" He took steps into the room towards Wednesday, "This was you wasn't it?"
"Wait, Dad, please. I'm okay." Tyler stopped his father before he could do some damage.
"Sherif, I understand you're upset, but I think you need to see something." Wednesdays voiced quivered.
Walking towards Enid and Wednesday's room, she heard the end part of the argument between the two. "You didn't have to because that's what friends do!" Enid yelled, "the fact that you don't know that says everything." She picked up her bags. "You want to be alone, Wednesday? Be alone." Enid walked past Évangéline, then she made eye contact with Wednesday.
"Ev," Wednesday's voice was weak.
Seeing Wednesday walk forwards she stopped her, "Just stop, Wednesday." Seeing the look of confusion on the girls face she explained. "You have put not only me, but Enid and Tyler in danger. You didn't even realise I was almost bleeding out. But you noticed Tyler! I was on your side, but you just kick it back in my face. Xavier was there for, what? Five seconds? And realised I was bleeding, or at least I was in pain."
Without sparing Wednesday a second look, she turned around and made her way back to her dorm.

You know, when I finished "Wednesday". I didnt come out gushing about the aesthetic, the "vibes", and the ships. (Though there are some good ones, Enid x Ajax? Yes! Damn YES!)
I came out frustrated.
Cause WTF, was that ending?
Where was the fucking character growth for the mc?
Atleast make her state an apology for the shit she put everyone through.
Xavier! Enid! Thing! Eugene! The Whole Nightshade crew!
They went through alot cause of her (dont let me even begin at the blatant disrespect theya ll had to endure) and what did they fucking get?
A cold shoulder.!
Cause Lil miss Addams cant fucking apologise for the life (or death) of her.
Its honestly
(To quote Principal Weens , May she rest in peace)
Disappointing!
I hope they give Wednesday actually growth next season, and not just subtle hints and signs of it that could just be all in my head by the ending.
The Cliffhanger did not help. Could care less about the mysteries at this point.
(Wednesday isnt even a alright detective if she had to have a vision tell her who the actual HYDE is)
