But seeing those video game aesthetic screenshot posts, the ones that are clearly full of 20+ mods, including ENB lighting and not a single vanilla texture left, and scrolling down to see the label (usually italicized) 'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim'
just leaves me like. No, it's not: it's 'TES V: Skyrim plus the work of 20+ unpaid modders who made it look pretty enough for you to post'
#skyrim#i guess i just hate for bethesda to get all the credit when it's modder's work featured prominently#but it just seems ridiculous to call them skyrim screenshots when nothing about them was in the original game#i hope this isnt a hot take im not trying to attack the aesthetic bloggers#i mean my ideal change would probably be specificfying that its modded and linking to a mod collection#but i know tumblr has/had a tendancy to kill posts with links#even a 'mods page linked in my profile' in the post body would be some acknowledgement...#tbh i blame tumblr more than bloggers on this one for killing posts with links

Ok the fandom wiki is back to normal as of earlier, so if you accidentally stumble upon it, it'll be fine.
However please make sure to keep using the New and Improved Wiki, which is not only easier to navigate and is more pleasant, but also the new preferred wiki. (Not only to mention the various issues that Fandom wiki has). Bookmark it or something if you need to.
As future reference, it should be noted that vandalism on the fandom wiki will not help take the wiki down due to fandom's policy, despite previous otherwise thoughts (myself included) and the continuous vandalism only brings traction to it. As well as, mentioning the new wiki will have the possibility to demote and ban the current mods of the fandom wiki.
As silly as the entire thing was, please make sure to use the new wiki and refrain from going back to the old one. Especially since last night made the fandom wiki get a lot of traction.
As a reminder, here are some extensions you can use to help avoid using the fandom wiki: 1 (redirector) 2 (wiki.gg redirector) 3 (wiki indie buddy)

I really feel like the ppl making angry posts about the ao3 fundraiser donation amounts are fundamentally misunderstands the sheer *volume* of ppl using ao3 on the daily. Like. It is understandable to feel things while being in a position to need money but it is wildly illogical to blame other tumblr users for the attention gap

after doing some research ive decided to not turn the big bang into a zine as well
the preparation for both dont mesh very well, and my goal w the bang was to have as many encanto fandom ppl that wanted to join, be able to join!
if we were to turn this into a zine i would have to GREATLY reduce the amount of ppl who could participate ;;
which seems doubly unfair after all the hype!! 😭
however, i would very much like to host an encanto zine after the big bang tho!! but for now the main focus is the big bang event!

every time i see people making posts about the sad state of the sunny wiki i take ten points of psychic damage and then run off to fix whatever the fuck someone has mentioned

#idm to brag to you guys but my sdv spreadsheet is so spectacular. i havent played in a while but i slayed it kinda rly hard.#i should make a blank version of it 4 if anybody wants it... it consists of likee. oh it hss come to pass i have in fact made a blank sdv#spreadsheet...#at least i think i have. the checklist page might be missing some things but i dont wanna go through and check. the list. lol.#but anyways as i was saying it consists of 5 subsheets soo its got like a mods section for listing mods with links 2 their posts for easy#updates etc. and then a checklidt of all the items you need to complete every collection + all the bundles + i dont think ive added in the#ones for quests yet (like repairing the bridge or the boat or getting jodi a starfruit or whatever) but if i ever get bsck into sdv i may#add thise. but rn its just for every collection (including cooking so it has all the ingredients you need for each recipe)#n thenn theres a sheet to list all your animals with their names n everything n what coop/barn theyre in#n then one with every single event + requirements and how to access it bc sometimes#they r so specific and i will judt forget i havent seen them or whatever. n then i just have a calendar with every birthday and holiday on#it which i personslly use to track wedding anniversaries/kids birthdays.. since i play with the mod where you cn marry multiple ppl i like#to be able to plan my weddings in advance#basically its like a rly good sheet i kjnd of slayed eith it#some of it i do need 2 change bc it is specific to. the mods i play with just some of the like. smaller stuff#like i use a mod that renames the luau into the potluck and rethemes it to be less. Of the devil.. so on my calendar i list it as the#potluck etc which if i actually wanted to share it id have 2 edit that but also i think everybody should play with that mod bc its rly msde#wellmade i meant. originally the sheet was just to track all my mods bc i use umm. hold on#99 mods... but only 75 of those are actual fun mods the other 24 are just dependencies and stuff.
