I have to say, I love that Klavier Gavin will raise an objection in court and you have to wait for him to do some air guitar routine, which I'm sure is accurate to the last note, before he even says anything. It makes Ema's disdain for him so much better because if i had to work alongside a man who had to fucking air guitar every time he experienced A Thought I would go out of my way to help the opposition. I'd see him and be like, "Here comes this fucking guy and his stupid fucking air guitar. Rockstar or prosecutor PICK ONE!"

Then, I would see the other guy who is just as annoyed at the sight of Mr. Air Guitar and I would imprint so fucking fast. "This is my brother in arms. We both fight against the tyranny of He Who Air Guitars."

I also love that he's just referred to as a fop so often. Fucking choice.

The neat thing about being a Will Wood fan is that you find this decently sized community of people who like this guy and you're like "wow look at all these people I can talk to!" But it definitely isn't that BIG of a community

But after a while you realize that they're everywhere, the best example I can give is that I'm in quite a few different discord servers, for quite a few different things, and I can't name one active server that doesn't have at least one or two Will Wood fans™ and its not like it's always the same people

Idk I just find it really Interesting and cool

I just feel so passionately about Gale being absolutely excellent at pre-rehearsed romantic lines, planned romantic gestures, beautiful thoughtful gifts etc. but also being the sort of person who would accidentally insult your mother on a two hour long infodumping rampage, who would accidentally wound you to the core and not notice it or you being angry about it for a good day and yes, the sort of person who would see a crown of extreme power beyond most mortal reaches and fuck you with a far off look in his eye as he definitely thinks about himself in that crown the whole time

the reason movies about the new teenage experience feel bad and cheesy is because of those scenes where the teen comes home and lays down and scrolls on their phone in the darkness. bc no one is ever aware of scrolling on their phone. they’re in the phonezone. they’re spaced the fuck out. that birdseye view of them in their sad lonely room doesn’t do shit to communicate the actual experience of being dissociated from your physical body for 5-7 hours of each day. of falling into the brainportal and looking up and thirty minutes have passed. of the chaotic mental feeling of having five apps to check and sixty notifs and a dopamine hooked brain that doesn’t have enough gas to get outta the driveway and being so totally overwhelmed by what is essentially just you sitting in your bed on your phone. movies make those moments in the phone look quiet and sad but they’re actually your brain moving a hundred miles per hour in a car that can’t quite drive right
