listen i know im a vashwood main but i also think that in stampede vashmeryl is a much stronger ship. like they're so much more to work with there and im surprised that stampede vashmeryl isnt significantly more popular.

i get that part of the reason stampede vashwood is so popular is because it's such a strong ship in the other trigun iterations as well as the stuff thats in stampede, but in terms of just stampede vashmeryl is stronger.

personally when it comes to stampede i think mashwood is best tho cus all 3 have very interesting dynamics, both in terms of in pairs and as a whole

I need people to see the beauty that is a friendship between Maxwell and WX-78. They're both so chaotic and funny, and some of the only nice dialogue Maxwell has about the other survivors comes from their interactions, even going as far as to say he actually liked them and sees them as a friend (though in his own Maxwell-y way. The exact quote is from when WX dies. "A shame about your death, %. You were the only one I half-liked.")

But also, none of WX's dialogue is exactly hostile towards him, either. It all reads to me as vauge teasing. Say what you want, but they definitely are friends.

This also makes sense if you notice that WX wasn't brought to the constant by Maxwell, they were pushed through the portal by Wagstaff! They don't have a connection to Maxwell that's inherently bad, if anything, it's neutral ground. There's no genuine animosity between the two of them, so their teasing and bickering towards eachother seems very lighthearted!

Also, due to Wagstaff looking so much younger in the short than as we know him, it's safe to assume that they're set further into the past than Wilson and the others, instead of the 1920's, it'd probably be around the 1900's, when Maxwell was still William, or at least, newly received the codex. I feel like William and Woodrow would be good friends.

something very Important To Me in the spider-man and deadpool relationship (gen) is the theme of voluntary change for the better. deadpool’s morals don’t match up with spidey’s, but spidey matters enough to him to want to be good. redemption arcs my beloved

in 616, deadpool is a mercenary, and that doesn’t jive with peter parker’s no-killing policy. hobie, however, has no such qualms, thus the flavor of 138 dp’s divergence must be altered; i’m thinking he might’ve been a retired/fired police officer, or he took government-sponsored merc jobs without caring who the target was—somethin a little fucked up like that idk

then he meets spider-punk. initially, deadpool is obsessed the way you’re obsessed with your friends’ favorite celebrities—loudly, annoyingly, facetiously. hobie at first dislikes him, but doesn’t consider him a big enough player to hate, and since punk’s core moral of radical kindness allows for second chances, he offers dp the opportunity to turn his back on the State. slowly deadpool acclimates to punk values and community, finds himself upholding core tenets of the revolution even when it means he loses out on big fat wads of fascist blood money, and becomes a scene kid

Yes! I'm a huge, huge, huge Adorpia shipper actually! Alternatively, my runnerups are Glimmadora, Adonnie (or whatever the Adora/Lonnie name is, I have no idea), and most recently I've been playing with this idea of Adora and Mermista of all fucking people, but that's a story for another post.

Anyway, yeah, a lot of my old writing is mostly me Trojan-horsing Adorpia into the narrative lol. I was (am) absolutely crazy about them. Back in the day, I would have dreams about them like... not even in sleep could I escape shipping them.
