A Vegeta x OC Fanfiction (part 2)¤ ¤ ¤
The morning came with silence and silence came with Raditz banging on Calamatta’s pod.
“Wake up! we need to get our pods to the ship in the upper atmosphere then we start the terraforming process! Got it?” SHe stretches and gives the long haired Saiyan a lazy thumbs up. Confirming she heard him loud and clear. Rubbing her eyes she punched in the coordinates to the ship and off the four pods flew to the ship in the higher atmosphere, slotting their pods into the mothership.
The four took their time to leave 2 by 2 to the planet and scour the planet to completely terraform it, with expertise and precision. Cracking open the planet enough to let the oceans flow forth, for several hours they did this until they returned to the ship. Calamatta entered the ship last and was greeted with a crisp clap to the back from Nappa. “Good job, lil lady!” He bellowed as she rubbed the back of her head. “T-thanks Nappa, now im just worried.”
Raditz raised his hand and shook his head, “Ahhh calm down, we're going to give him an honest review of you then you will be moved to our quarters, you get your first pay and then you should be good. Settle down.” He brushes past her and makes his way to Frieza’s Hall. Vegeta followed behind, throwing a glance at the female Saiyan as she sat on a chair, he can tell she was nervous by the frequency of her bouncing leg. They didnt like bending to Frieza’s whim, but they werent about to just go against him out right.. And with one more saiyan with them to train and get stronger they could be unstoppable. Its just the matter of pandering to Lord Frieza until then and making sure they dont get killed.
Lord Friezas chambers had only Zarbon blocking their way, the annoying green haired former prince with no shame. Dodoria, the brainless ruffian was nowhere in sight. “Monkeys.. Im assuming its about the release of Friezas little ape?” Zarbon said very condescendingly to the three, very annoyed Saiyans. Vegeta tightened his fist and grit his teeth at the comparison to apes so blatantly to his face.
“Zarbon thats quite enough. Ive been expecting them.” Friezas voice piped up waving the three Saiyans in. “Y-yes, Lord Frieza.” He obeyed and moved out of their ways. “You are excused Zarbon, your services arent needed this evening.” Frieza rotated fully in his seat and swirled a full goblet of wine within it.
The three took bended knee to Frieza begrudgingly and raised up at the same time. “Were here to confirm our Terraforming a rousing success.” Frieza smirked and paid attention to Nappa. “Indeed. It was to be a 4 to 5 day excursion and you done it in 2 and a half days? My my, you 4 are persistent!” He chided and pointed to Nappa first. Everyone is fully aware of Frieza’s death beam so Nappa winced. Causing Frieza to visibly inflate like an egomaniac. “Now what is your report about my favorite little monkey, Ms. Calamatta” He sipped his wine and let it hover mid air rotating it and lacing his fingers together and letting his long worm like tail wag lightly. Nappa took one step forward and spoke up, light sweat on his brow as he made eye contact with deadly bright vermillion eyes.
“Calamatta’s first time out with primary race extermination was exquisite. Effective and heartless. If she continues with us you should expect the same, Lord Frieza!” He did a full bow and stepped back for Raditz, The long haired teenage Saiyan cleared his voice and spoke up, starting with an embarrassing voice crack. “She took orders for sequences of events and how to lay waist to entire cities fairly quickly. I'd prefer her with us simply because she has a job to do and she seems to enjoy it.” Frieza slowly nods, eyes closed and speaks softly. “Mhmm. mmhmmm. You two are dismissed. Vegeta… you stay.”
Frieza took his goblet and took a sip from it as the Prince narrowed his eyes and approached, puffing up his chest. “What do you think about the pretty little simian? Shes quite interesting… obedient and has grown to be a lovely young woman, shapely i think your repugnant species would call her... You are aware her father appointed her to me when she was a child, I'd assume Vegeta…?” He lets the wine glass levitate again, Vegeta stood with his arms crossed and brow raised. “Yes, Im aware...What is this about.” Frieza clicked his nails about on his seat and smiled softly.
“Her father did not trust his only daughter with the likes of the Kings eldest boy… Not after their fight… so she was appointed as my little monkey butler, a nice little piece of arm candy… if only she wasnt a Saiyan. Anyway… Enough with my little flights of fantasy…” He gestured to the confused Saiyan Prince, his lips lined straight and unmoving. “About Calamatta… How was she.. Your word I take higher then anyone else.” He preened upon saying her name, it was borderline perverted but with a sinister meaning behind it.
“Shes the missed opportunity id like to get my hands on. A perfect Saiyan through and through. If she werent by your side so often id have taken her by my side YEARS ago, Frieza…” He stated as a matter of factly, Friezas dark little smile returned “How disgustingly romantic... Zarbon! Summon Calamatta for me.” He snaps his fingers and trot like tapping faded down the hallway. Zarbon was waiting outside, like a good little brainless lackey.
Calamatta was tapping on the table she waited at, tail flicking nervously about behind her. She was snapped from her stupor of nervous leg bouncing and hair twirling to Zarbon slapping his hand down firm onto the table. “Calamatta, Lord Frieza is requesting your return asap.” SHe nodded and fixed her hair abit standing up and wrapping her tail around her waist. Shes known Zarbon longer then shes known Dodoria.
The kinship Zarbon developed for her was astounding, a favorable friendship when she felt immense discomfort in her teens on. It weirds her out and flatters her nonetheless. “Yes, Zarbon.. Right away.” She walks along side Zarbon and even passes Nappa and Raditz on their way back. “Ill have you know for the duration of time that I have known you; you are not like the others… youre charismatic and maybe the most tolerable, of the 4 of you...your  still nothing more than a monkey butler though.” She sneered and returned her gaze fixed forward, down then away. The moment she turned the corner she went wide eyed to see Vegeta.
She stopped in her tracks and was given a push from Zarbon, Frieza chirped upon her entry. “Welcome back, Calamatta! I have some good news for you…” “Lord Frieza..” She bowed at the waist obediently she stood next to Vegeta and Zarbon once again excused himself.
“I trust that your first day terraforming was a success and that you had a splendid time, did you dear?” Calamatta stood up straight and let her tail unwind from her waist. “Y-Yes! I actually liked it alot!” She chirped and gulped abit, Vegeta scoffed and closed his eyes, only for Frieza to speak. “Oh, well you are not out of the woods yet my dear...no no.. You have one more task to prove to me before i let you do anything with the male populace for you to shake your pretty little tail at.”
He makes a face and a screen pops up on the window behind him. A massive green, blue and red planet popped up on the screen encircled by 2 rings and 2 moons. “You and Vegeta are to Terraform this planet on your own. I will give you a month to do it because this planet has highly hostile inhabitants.” Vegetas eyes snapped open and stared at the planet then to frieza. “You cant be serious? Why not just send me on my own then i can do it 3 weeks without the likes of a newbie.. No offence Calamatta but its just facts.” He crossed his arms. “Do this the both of you for me in a months worth of time and your pretty little primate will be out of my hands and in yours. Indefinitely. But if not i will be forced to use my own hand… and you dont want that Vegeta..” He grinned widely. His pointer finger extended toward the female Saiyan and she gulped upon seeing the beam charge at the tip of his digit.
Vegeta stepped infront of the female Saiyan and narrowed his eyes, his move was more instinctual than out of emotion. Calamatta never thought the prince would ever put himself in a position like this but here he was, his solid back to her front she peaked over his caped shoulder and looked at the tyrant who tilted his head. "Hehehe.. it seems ive struck a chord in you Vegeta.." "Not at all.. she's done nothing for you to raise that finger at her. I've made the decision and well go…" he clenches his fists, the material of his gloves made a noise. Calamatta could feel the princes frustration from how close he was to her… "to that planet… and well wipe it before the month even finishes.."
Frieza chuckled, "Good… i know you will fulfill your promise.. Calamatta you stay, dear.. Vegeta…" Calamatta straightened her back  and tightened her tail around her waist. "You are dismissed.. i have a few things to discuss with her." Vegeta turned around and made eye contact with Calamatta, with a pitiful look in his eye.. like he knew she shouldn't be in this situation. "Bye, Vegeta." She said softly, causing the Emperor to briefly narrow his eyes, she kept her head forward. Vegeta said nothing as the door slid shut behind her. Leaving without a word and kind of making her heart sink abit. He grit his teeth and stormed down the hallway to a perplexed Raditz and Nappa.
“Calamatta, come little primate.” Frieza beckoned to her and snapped for one of his little cronies to bring something to him. Folded up in the hands of Dodoria himself. “Hello little Matta, hope you enjoy this little costume change.” She nodded to him and took the body suit and armor. “When would i expect to go to this planet?” SHe tilted her head and held the new suit, noticing theres not much too it, which made her really wary. “Ah ah, first things first alittle bit of information is more useful about the planet then when you and the simian prince will go.” Frieza quips looking at his shiny black claws. “The planets name is To-Rot, it is a giant habitable planet that im sure would be able to line your pockets quite nicely.”
Dodoria crossed his arms and quirked a brow at her, “Lord Frieza told you about the type of inhabitants to that planet right? Its not a walk in the park and I certainly wouldnt go alone... “ Calamatta gulped. “Now now, Dodoria. Do not frighten the girl. Who knows she could be the best of the 4 remaining Saiyans. We will see..” He gets out of his pod like seat and uses his tail to tip her chin up, a small smirk still playing on his lips.
“Run along and change and you may turn in for the evening… you both leave in 20 hours, when we arrive to the nearest solar system. From there you and Vegeta will go To-Rot.” Frieza chuckles to himself. “Fitting name dont you think? Ohohohohohoooo !!” He laughs and Calamatta turns and bows walking back to the saiyan chambers to change.

Blood is Thicker Than Water (Young Justice x Reader)
Prompt:  Can u pls do 21 where the reader is the joker's daughter or smth and hes super abusive to her and she finally escs and Batman has her join the young justice bc he knows she needs the support of other people at that hard time in her life but bc her past the team is super wary bc its around the time that kaldur thinks theres a traitor and so they want her to stay behind when they fight the injustice league but she has to go to finally let go of the fact that her father didnt love her or smth
21: “No way in hell am I going with you”
Word Count: 3281
A/N: This was a lot longer than I thought it would be, but I really like the way it turned out.
Warnings: Violence, Abuse, Mental Illness
You stared at the ground, not daring to look at the people standing in front of you. Batman had his hand on your shoulder, and you prayed that he was only telling them good things. You tried tuning out the conversation, the idea of living somewhere new giving you more anxiety than you thought.
Just last year, you were living with your father at his base of operations, you hadn’t heard from your mother in six months at the time. When people looked at you they figured you were normal, or as normal as you can get in Gotham at least, but what they didn’t know is that your father was the Joker, and you mother was Harley Quinn. Your mother was able to run away from the abuse of your father, but she wasn’t able to take you along. Or she didn’t even try. You still don’t know.
Either way, one year after your mother had left, you were able to find your escape, right before one of your father’s terror attempts. He kept most of his plans from you, but he allowed you the knowledge of the date and the location, hoping that you would join him on his journey. This was the first time that you were left by yourself, without any of his goons watching you, without your mother insisting you stay. And, this time you had more resources. You had some money and a backpack that you filled with necessities. Things like a change of clothes and the only stuffed animal you ever owned.
The stuffed animal that you held close to your chest as you cried yourself to sleep after your father’s worst nights. If he was successful it meant he killed people, and if he was unsuccessful it meant he came back to take his anger out on you or your mother. Sometimes both.
Standing here with that very backpack in front of these people that Batman told you would be your friends, you thought back to your first night of freedom, six months ago. That was the first time you met Batman too. Or at least truly met him. That was the night that the Joker attempted to bomb a diner. Your favorite diner. You didn’t know if he knew it was your favorite, but after you escaped the base, you ran there. You couldn’t let your father see you, but you knew you had to stop it. You knew you had to get Batman’s attention, so you did it the only way you knew how.
Putting yourself in the line of danger wasn’t something a normal person would do in an attempt to stop even more danger. Most people would call the police, but you couldn’t interact with the Gotham police force. They had a target on your head to match your father’s. So you threw yourself into the middle of a bar fight. More like an escalated bar fight. It started in the bar, but once the patrons were thrown out, it continued in the alley next to it. So you stood there, a 14 year old girl, next to this bar fight and you waited. Eventually Batman came. He arrested the people who took part in the fight, and then he turned to you.
“Are you oka- I know you from somewhere,” Batman had said, beginning to ask of your well being before recognizing your face. “Tonight at 11:00 my father plans to bomb the diner on the corner of 10th and B. I don’t know the details, but he’s expecting me to show up to help him. Obviously, I’m not willing to help, but if you could stop him that would be preferable. At least make sure no civilians get hurt,” you told him flat out. There was no use lying to Batman anyways, because the chances that he was going to arrest you as well were almost 100%.
“Ah, that’s why you seemed so familiar. You’re the Joker’s daughter. Why are you telling me this anyways, is it a trap?”
“I hate my father, please do not associate me with him. I’m telling you because I don’t want innocent people hurt. I’m telling you because if you stop his plans, I won’t be there for him to take his anger out on anymore. If you don’t believe me, that’s fine, but the blood of innocent people won’t be on my hands anymore, it’ll be on yours.” You knew you had a way with words, that you could convince him to go. And in convincing him, you were saving lives, but you were also escaping. Escaping from the life that you hated so much. Escaping after 14 years of hell.
“What’s your name?”
“I don’t like going by my real name, but when mother allowed me to go to school, they enrolled me as (Y/N),” you told him truthfully. “(Y/N) (Y/L/N). That is my preferred name.”
“Well, (Y/N) (Y/L/N), thank you for the tip,” he said, before heading off in the direction of the diner. The bomb never went off.
After that encounter, you knew that Batman was looking for you. He claimed he wanted to help you, but you could only believe that he was planning to imprison you alongside your father. Once you finally met him though, you found out that you were wrong. He did want to help you. He wanted to be able to put your training from your parents to good use, and you did too. So one week after your second meeting with Batman, you found yourself standing in front of a group of young heroes. Batman told you that they were going to be there for you, and that they would help you. And you were to help them. He wasn’t hiding your past from anyone, and if you were honest, you didn’t want him to. These people had the right to know that you were raised by a crazy clown and if they didn’t trust you because of it, well, that would be fine, it’s not like you wanted to work with the team anyways. You finally brought yourself back to the conversation Batman was having with the team.
“(Y/N) is as much a part of the team as the rest of you, and I expect her to be treated as such,” he told them, with a pointed look to each of them.
The one with the “S” on his shirt stepped forward angrily. “So you just expect us to trust the daughter of a super villain? You’re insane.”
Though most of the eyes in the room were trained on Superboy, you noticed two pairs travel to the girl called Artemis, who looked down, almost ashamed. She was clearly hiding something from the team. You looked to the boy, your eyes sad. You knew you would never be trusted here, but you wished that you could. You looked back to Batman and simply said, “I told you they wouldn’t want me here,” your voice unwavering.
He rested his hand on your shoulder again before speaking, “And I told you they wouldn’t have a choice. Superboy, you are not to speak of (Y/N) like that again. She is part of your team now. I understand that you may not trust her, but I do. In the time that I have been in contact with her, she has been a wonderful help to me and to my work, and now she is going to be of help to your team. I apologize if you don’t like it, but you don’t have a say.” The entirety of the team aside from Robin looked at him in shock. He had never spoken so fondly of anyone, not even Robin, but then again, the team wasn’t questioning Robin’s credibility or trustworthiness.
After staring Superboy down, he left through the zeta tube behind him. Robin, the only one that you had met prior to this encounter stepped forward to offer you a tour around the mountain, and to show you your room, but was interrupted.
“When was the last time you saw him?” one of the boys asked. Aqualad. You tilted your head in confusion, unsure as to who they were referring to. “Your father.”
“I haven’t seen the Joker in over 6 months,” you answered honestly, making sure to emphasize the fact that you did not perceive him as your father.
“And when was the last time you spoke to him?” Superboy asked accusingly.
“It’s been over 6 months,” you simply responded.
“What about your mother?” Artemis asked. Though she didn’t sound accusing, she sounded concerned.
“I believe it’s been about a year and a half.”
“Your mom left you with your crazy father? Why would she do that?” was the next question, which came from Kid Flash.
“My mother wasn’t exactly sane either,” you responded, getting a simple ‘oh’ of realization from the redhead. Robin sent him a glare before finally offering the tour.
Now, you stood in the main room of the cave, watching Kaldur and Robin spar. It had been a month since you joined the team, and yet the only two on the team that seemed to trust you were Artemis and Robin. Perhaps it was because you helped them when the cave was taken over, or maybe it was because the three of you were the only ones on the team who were aware of Artemis’s true family. Whatever it was, the rest of the team wasn’t having it. They wouldn’t practice with you, they wouldn’t speak to you. It was as if you didn’t exist in their eyes, their mistrust often clouding their better judgment.
As you stood there listening to Wally complain about Captain Marvel’s food consumption the computer spoke up, “Recognized, Batman 02.”
“Computer, national news,” Batman commanded.
As the screen pulled up the news and you saw the giant plants attacking the city, you couldn’t help but mutter under your breath, “Pamela.” Robin recognized the name and placed his hand on the small of your back in an attempt to comfort you, confirming your suspicions with a small nod.
“Should we get out there?” he asked.
“No,” Batman responded, “The League will soon have the situation under control, that’s not why I’m here. According to your intel, Sportsmaster supplied Cadmus Blockbuster Formula to Kobra.”
“Who combined it with Bane’s venom to create Kobra Venom,” Wally continued.
“Which The Brain used to create his animal army.”
“And upgrade Wolf.”
“The Brain also used inhibitor collars, like the ones at Belle Reve Penitentiary.”
“Batman, is it possible that plant thing is on Kobra Venom too?”
“I had Green Lantern run a spot analysis, the vine cellulose does contain trace amounts of a Kobra Venom variant,” Batman confirmed.
“These cannot be coincidences,” Kaldur stated.
You continued, “Unrelated criminals are cooperating with one another worldwide.” As you spoke, Robin removed his hand from your back and began to type.
“Exactly,” Batman confirmed, yet again. “It’s now clear our enemies have formed some kind of, secret society of super villains. The attack on Metropolis is only the beginning.”
“You got that right,” Robin said, pulling up more images on the computer. “Plant creatures have sprouted in Gotham City, Paris, Star City, Taipei-” and then the computers cut off.
Wally got upset before Robin told him that whoever it was was taking over all of the satellites, and the team waited to see what was to happen on the screen.
The Joker’s face appeared on the screen and you began to feel nauseous. You felt the team’s eyes on the back of your head, and Robin returned his hand to your back, in another attempt to comfort you. You watched the screen with wide eyes, knowing that the majority of your team was questioning your allegiances. You shuddered when you heard your father’s high pitched laugh. Robin once again let go of you and began typing again, this time to obtain the identities of the villains that appeared on-screen. “Count Vertigo, The Joker, Poison Ivy, Ultra Humanite, Atomic Skull, Black Adam, Wotan, seven heavy hitters. Probably behind everything and everyone we’ve faced.”
As they began to discuss the secret society, you began to think of way that the ‘Injustice League’ could be stopped. When Batman said he had a different job for your team you were unsure of whether you should be excited that he trusted you or wary due to the people you’d be facing. As Robin pulled up a holomap and Zatara placed the location of the villains, your mind began to reel.
“Coordinates locked in,” Robin confirmed, “The Louisiana Bayou.”
“And what will she do?” Kaldur asked. You knew the question was coming the second you saw the Joker’s face on the screen, yet you cringed at the sound of it anyways.
“Come with us, obviously,” Robin informed the leader, “She’s just as much a part of this team as you are.” You let out a breath you didn’t realize you were holding and looked at Robin.
“She’s too close to this case!” Superboy shouted, causing you to flinch. The first fourteen years of your life trained you that when yelling started, violence followed, so the feeling of Robin’s hand returning to the small of your back became a comfort, reminding you where you were and that you were safe, especially in this situation.
“Hardly!” Artemis yelled right back, “Just because you don’t trust her doesn’t make her any less a part of this team. Her knowledge of the Joker is precisely what we need to slip past his defenses unnoticed.”
Wally looked at Artemis and then at you and Robin before sighing, “They’re right. We need her.” You gave him a small smile to show your thanks before Kaldur and Superboy conceded, heading to change and to the bioship.
M’gann began to talk about feeling sick, and then the bioship lost control and landed in the murky waters of the bayou. As water flooded the ship, you began to panic. You never were the strongest swimmer. When Robin looked at you, he noticed your panic as well, and made sure you got out safely, pulling you with him as he swam to the surface. When you all reached the top, you were caught by Count Vertigo. He used his powers to subdue the team, and Superboy had a run-in with Black Adam. Kaldur commanded Robin and Miss Martian to disappear, in order to fulfil the mission.
I’m going with them, you thought to the rest of the team, before disappearing into the shadows with Robin, They don’t even know I’m part of the team yet.
You ran alongside Robin towards the building. M’gann told us that she lost contact with the rest of the team, but Robin made sure she knew we had to finish the job first.
A voice from behind you spoke up, “Well, hello,” and then the three of you were wrapped with giant plants as well. The other two began to struggle, but you knew Pamela too well. You simply held still and stared her down. “Hey Aunt Pam!” you exclaimed, causing shock to appear in not only her’s but also Ultra Humanite’s eyes. In her shocked state, she dropped the three of you and you commanded them to run over your brain link. Humanite followed Miss Martian while Poison Ivy turned away from you to watch Robin run away.
“Sorry Boy Wonder, I’m putting an end to your little reconnaissance mission.”
You quickly climbed a tree, and followed in Robin’s direction, hoping the three of you would meet up eventually. He stopped, and you landed on the ground directly beside him when you heard M’gann’s voice in your head again. Robin, she’s made contact. Of course she still decided to ignore your existence, but at least she kept you on the link this time.
Artemis? Robin asked.
No, you thought, and Miss M confirmed soon after, the bioship flying overhead and stopping the villains that held the rest of your team.
As the battle raged on below, you, Robin, and Miss M made your way to the top of the building, and you helped him place explosives around the entirety of the plant sticking out of the roof. After the plants exploded, the Joker and Atomic Skull came out of the building.
You followed Robin down the building, and fought by his side the whole time. When the Joker came out of the forest to see not only the Boy Wonder, but also his daughter, he acted unfazed though the surprise was clear in his eyes. You knew he thought you planned to help him, so when he began to charge at Robin with his knives and you jumped between them his eyes went wide and he stopped.
“My little Jester, how wonderful it is to see you again,” he said before letting out a crazed laugh. “What’s the matter? Didn’t you miss your daddy?”
“You. Are. Not. My. Father,” you told him through grit teeth.
“Oh, c’mon my child. Come fight alongside me, and then we can head home. I know how much you probably miss home.”
“No way in hell am I going with you.”
“But my little Jester…” He continued to ramble which kept him distracted. Rob, I’ve got this covered. Go help the rest of the team.
(Y/N), I’m not going to leave you with him in that state. The argument got cut off before you could really discuss because the Justice League began to descend from the sky.
As the majority of the Injustice League began to surrender, the Joker started to ramble again. Before you knew it he was waggling his fingers and spores on the plants began to burst.
“Joker Venom spores! Don’t breathe,” you commanded, flipping over your father’s head, landing, and swiftly kicking him in the side of the head, causing him to fall unconscious. “And yeah, I learned that from mom,” you mentioned to his unconscious body.
Before the venom could spread, Dr. Fate began to pull it out of the air. The Justice League began to arrest the villains as the team waited and hoped that Dr. Fate would free Kaldur. Finally, Kaldur was free, and the team began to celebrate, but you stayed seated on the ground beneath you. The team still did not trust you, and that was fine, in the end, you did as Batman said you would. You helped them.
Robin came and sat down next to you, placing an arm around your shoulder this time. You leaned into him as he spoke. “Thank you, (Y/N). We wouldn’t have been able to do it today without you.”
Next Artemis came over and thanked you, along with Wally and M’gann. Finally, Kaldur and Conner came up.
“I believe I owe you an apology,” Kaldur stated.
“We both do,” Conner continued. “We’re sorry we let your family make us think you were going to betray us. I mean, the whole blood is thicker than water thing kinda freaked us out a bit I guess.”
You looked at him quizzically for a moment. “But, blood is thicker than water…” you stated. The whole team turned to you wide eyed. “No, no, I mean the full quote. ‘The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb’? The blood shed in battle bonds soldiers as friends more than genetics ever will?”
“Huh,” Rob began, “I guess I’ve had the saying wrong my whole life.”
“It appears we all did,” Kaldur added as the team laughed, and for once you felt welcome. For once you felt at home.
A/N: Okay I just wanted to put another author’s note because I like to think that in season 2 when Kaldur says ‘blood is thicker than seawater’ he means it the proper way, and Nightwing knows this but everyone else is just thinking of it the backwards way. In reality Kaldur is telling them of his true allegiance but nobody realizes. Idk just a little hc I had and I thought I’d share.

Prast I feel like shit the with the entire refugee thing going on and all the comparison to Hitler. I'm Jewish yet as soon as I saw just how much Zionism played to my sec of it (my rabbi has had a bunch of dumb sermons jerking of about how great Israel is and how we need to SUPPORT IT NOW) I've just felt...apathetic about whats going on. Like wow Trump didn't reference Jews in the holocaust speech but is gonna move the embassy he hates jews SOO much. And now with the bans, like fuck man
man i wrote a fat 1 hour long response to this but i lost it all right as i was about to post it
fuuuuck
yeah i feel you on the apathy thing
The outrage over the holocaust speech is manufactured. While theres alot to be outraged about, expect outrage over trump for even so much as a sneeze in the wrong direction.
i mean, im not apathetic entirely, but im like GEE, WELL, WHO WOULDA THUNK THAT THIS COULD HAPPENNNnnnNnnNnN in a fairly sardonic manner after bush-era executive powers were expanded if not preserved by OBama - and no one cared to say or do anytrhing about it besides anarchists and libertarians becuase they could trust a smiling democrat to have all that power and not abuse it. Even if he expanded NSA spying and made his nobel peace prize award into a farce by instigating wars, fueling the rise of ISIS and bombing the shit out of foreign countries and killing yemeni civilians at weddings..
And then a democrat majority senate lowered the bar for legislation to go through, creating a virtual slip-n-slide for republicans to leisurely get all their shit through, because fuck having foresight or caution.
A little over three years ago, Senator Mitch McConnell stood on the Senate floor and issued a warning to the Democrats who then controlled the majority.
“I say to my friends on the other side of the aisle, you’ll regret this,” McConnell, then the minority leader, told them. “And you may regret it a lot sooner than you think.”
At the urging of Majority Leader Harry Reid, Democrats had just voted along strict party lines to change the rules of the Senate, deploying what had become known in Washington as “the nuclear option.” McConnell and his Republican colleagues were furious. Under the new rules, presidential nominees for all executive-branch position—including the Cabinet—and judicial vacancies below the Supreme Court could advance with a simple majority of 51 votes. The rules for legislation were untouched, but the 60-vote threshold for overcoming a filibuster on nearly all nominations was dead.
As Donald Trump prepares to assume the presidency this afternoon flanked by Republican majorities in Congress, McConnell’s warning is looking more and more prescient. Trump may win Senate confirmation of his entire Cabinet, and while Democrats will oppose many of his nominees, it was their vote in November 2013 that helped pave the way for their success.
Democrats: “I wish congress and the senate wasn’t so slow and full of checks and balances that hold up new legislation”
*Monkey Paw Finger Retracts*
Tumblr media
and the cherry on top of that was hillary clinton, a nominee no one wanted, made backroom deals to ensure she was the Democrat pick for Presidency in 2016, such as installing her 2008 campaign co-chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz as the new DNC chairwoman in 2011 in exchange for the previous chairperson, Tim Kaine to step down and be given the privilege of being her Vice President select. If you were confused why Kaine was chosen for that, there you go.
and that doesnt go into how Clinton was so smug and sure of her landslide victory, that she didnt bother campaigning at ALL at the level Sanders or Trump did. Hell, she didn’t even visit Wisconsin and that Blue state swung red for Trump last November along with many other economically depressed rust belt states desperate for someone to care about them.
And the DNC strategized using their media connections to lift up “pied piper” outsiders like donald trump to help destablize and undermine standard republican shoe-ins like Jeb Bush. Look how that went. And with a little help from wikileaks, all of this backfired into the current situation we have today.
And poor bernie. Those historic protest marches since Trump’s inauguration wouldve been greeaaattttt after bernie got fucked out of the nomination. Hell, it wouldve been great in 2012 when Ron Paul was fucked out of the GOP nomination, but no one cares about lolbertarians. However, they have the last laugh, their outrage over the corrupt RNC proceedings of Romney’s nomination transformed their “fuck it all, burn the whole system down” into unabashed support for authoritarians like Donald Trump, simply for the gratification of seeing the establishment Republicans panic and lose grasp of their own party.
But i feel my attitude over it all is really insufferable. Because i feel often my ranting into the ether pains my followers, when yea, no amount of shitposting would have changed much. Most people are actually pretty powerless, certainly those who read my shit or feel anxious, shocked and terrified.
But to that, i try to lay blame on liberal or corporate media for glossing over and ignoring the ills of Obama’s administration and helping create this delusion of the left being on the “right side of history” with smug liberal broadcasting like John Oliver’s “cmon, its 2015″ rhetoric. And yet, in 2017, it seems it’s actually the right wing who are indeed on the right side of history. And that’s why 2016 was the “WORST YEAR EVERRR” becuase peoples media fed delusions of eternal progressive destiny became so far removed from the reality on the ground that people’s collective bubbles of ignorance popped.
Not because they are dumb, but because they trusted media that regular omits shit that doesnt fit the media’s desired narrative
otehrwise, wihtout all that, most people couldve seen the writing on the wall and probably couldve organized and done something about it.
No amount of my posting of the left or really most people losing touch with the real narrative could have prevented that.
or something
idk
i wrote a better thing and this is thje best i can recollect of that.
now im at least a little positive because people, most people, are FINALLY engaged with the world around them and i wait to see what happens now.

An eighth of a teaspoon...
An eighth of a teaspoon.
Its 0.6ml to be exact and its enough to kill a full grown adult….an eighth of a teaspoon…..
I think…
I think, little girls grow up to be versions of their mothers and cry for their daughters the same way their mothers did for them. They have long been poisoned by patriarchy. They already know that life will be a bit little harder for their little girls if they don’t fit the mould. If they aren’t likable and subservient to societal pressures. As much as they want them to be exceptional they also don’t want them to suffer unnecessarily and be an outcast. It’s easy to say things like ‘Don’t worry about if they like you, do you like them?’ but being an outsider still hurts. ( I’ve been an outsider, wow, IT SUCKS) Most mothers know this because they have had at least one experience if not a combination of them. Either being the bully, being bullied or watching as someone got bullied and being grateful that it wasn’t them. The bully wasn’t always a nasty person. Most times it was society bullying them to do things they didn’t necessarily want to
I would like to make a disclaimer. No actual research was done. I didn’t consult anyone who knows more than me. I just went with my gut and my personal experiences.
Women are an important part of patriarchy….
Chimamanda Ngosi Adichie’s voice rings in my head. “We teach girls to shrink themselves, to make themselves smaller. We say to girls you can have ambition but not too much. You should aim to be successful. But not too successful. Otherwise you will threaten the man. Because I am female I am expected to aspire to marriage. I am expected to make life choices always keeping in mind that marriage is the most important…We raise girls to see each other as competitors not for jobs or accomplishments. Which I think can be a good thing. But for the attention of men…”
Who teaches these little girls these things? As they comb their hair and put them in their pretty dresses to parade them. Making looks many times more important that character. Who teaches girls how to be women? It’s their mothers or the women in their lives who were raised to be the same way and are yet to realise that perhaps, it hurts them more to tell them that they can only get so far in life because that’s not a woman’s place. I’m not saying all women. But a significant number have handicapped their children by not equipping them with the tools to be exceptional in their own right. They do the best they can with what they have, that however doesn’t make it healthy.
I have observed in many instances that we spend a lot of time telling girls to be modest with their desires, their bodies simply everything! It’s not just at home. It everywhere you go, you cant have messy hair because your hair is your crowning glory. You can’t leave the house not dressed properly because you might meet someone. Sit up straight, close your legs, don’t speak too much. You have to do this or that or you will be a lonely old woman. No one wants to be lonely.
I get it, I totally get it. In the times we live in we have this idea that if we tell them how to be and intentionally stifle them they will fall in line and behave. Then we will be able to keep them safe from all harm. In a perfect world that would be the case but that world doesn’t exist. Danger is on your step. That danger isn’t always a robber in a balaclava, a rapist or the fast boy next door. The danger is societal pressure. Have you ever known who you truly are and been told NO! No man will love a woman who likes what you like or has her own house, car or who has too many accomplishments….the real question is, who wants a man like that?
Again I understand that we teach what we know and before we know that marriage is not an achievement and a successful marriage doesn’t equate to one partner consciously stifling themselves we cant teach that.
I was at a bridal shower recently. I had known the bride to be my whole life and as we sat there drinking delicious mocktails and having snacks the marriage advice started flying. At first I didn’t know if I wanted to stand up and yell “That’s utter bullshit. She is getting married not adopting a grown man to groom into a better person so we can say she accomplished something because she got married” or sit there and absorb the patriarchy manifesto. It wasn’t my day and after spending the better part of the day decorating tables, washing glasses and chopping vegetables I had little to give. I simply didn’t have the energy to start that conversation. I was tired and this conversation weakened.
I’ve always known patriarchy needed women but I always thought the women who confirmed the stereotypes and pushed the agenda weren’t women I knew. I thought in every circle I moved in these women’s minds were liberated. I was wrong. And yet somehow I couldn’t fault them. They were sharing their experiences. Things they thought she needed to know, things they too had been told. Like the family pearls that are handed down generation to generation. The perfect compliment to every outfit. These weren’t pearls to me. To me they sounded like a choker that got tighter and tighter the instant you want to be anything outside the cruel expectation of a woman and it saddened me.
It still saddens me deeply that somewhere in the world there is a little girl getting her hair relaxed or being told not to laugh too loud or voice her opinion because its unattractive. What saddens me just as much is that nowhere not nowhere on planet earth are men being taught the same thing. That they need to serve their wives dinner on a tray or always give her sex when she wants it or that if his family loses respect in the community it’s his fault because he embarrassed his wife by not acting how a man should. I have never met a man who had a bridal shower where the agenda of patriarchy was pushed. Maybe he is out there and I am yet to meet him. I also cant speak of the conversations that men have among themselves. I’m pretty sure it has nothing to do with the clothes they should wear to bed or how they have to make sure dinner is always waiting.
It takes one eighth of a teaspoon of arsenic to kill a human being. Administered over time it causes severe illness and ultimately death. The lethal dose for arsenic in humans is 2 – 20mg/kg. Arsenic is the poison of choice because it’s tasteless, readily available and undetectable. I’d say patriarchy is just as bad if not worse. With patriarchy the poisoners don’t always know what they are doing. I too have been a victim and a conformist. Not speaking up when I should have. Being nice about being treated poorly and I’m aware of it now.
The best thing you can do is….(shrugs) I don’t know. My grandmother once called me a spinster in my early 20s and I think from then I decided I’d rather be any and all things other than what she wanted me to be. If I had to wear knee length skirts, head wraps and speak softly to find a man to love me that was something I didnt want. It was an act I couldn’t maintain. I’d rather be one of those women who had a story to tell and life lived totally by her rules. If love finds me, it finds me. What’s so bad about living a life that you have autonomy over?
I’m not trying to start a revolution I’m merely saying not all advice is good advice especially when it tells you to be less of who you are. I’m also careful not to give relationship advice because I don’t have a long term romantic relationship to share as an example. What I do know is that people are different and the same rules don’t apply to every relationship. That goes for everyone. Patriarchy doesn’t hurt just women and girls. What about the boys who are taught they shouldn’t cry and the men who feel like failures because they cant provide financially for their whole family? Patriarchy is the problem and today you can decide to stop being a pawn in the game.
Again, these are just my thoughts and feelings. Who am I, really? I’m just a woman whose parents pushed her out into the world to find happiness, success and all of it on my own terms. What do I know about anything? I just know what I’ve been through and I’m here to share it with you.

Mack Loses Another Award | Mackaaron
Mack was disappointed but honestly, she had quickly come to terms with her loss. It was easy to do considering that this was the fifth award show she'd attended and the fifth one she'd lost. Now, Mack wasn't a sore loser. She was grateful just to be there. But Mack knew she had a great voice, or at least she thought she did. Now, she was starting to doubt herself. It was hard not to. Mack didn't know what more she was supposed to do. She showed up to each award show hoping more than anything to receive some kind of recognition. Yet, it seemed as though everyone but her was getting their moment while Mack was waiting on the sidelines. Mack couldn't help but begin to question everything. Was her voice good? What if music wasn't for her? What if she was wasting her time? What if people simply weren't interested in her? It hurt. Mack was working her ass off these days to get something, anything, in return and she was getting nothing. She was tired. The fact that she had to endure the night without Aaron at her side made it all that much worse, honestly. Mack changed out of her gown as soon as she entered her room, wiping at her eyes now that she had taken off her makeup. She collapsed onto the bed, laying on her back and immediately squeezing her eyes shut before running her hands over her face. She didn't want to cry. She was just so...tired.
Aaron already knew that Mack had losther award, whichmeantthat he was a little sad too. He knew that Mack deserved it all. She was an amazing girl and person, she could sing like no other and it was unfair that she hadyet to get an award. Aaron knew her really well and he knew that she needed reassurance about all of it. He had been on the plane from Europe when all of this was happening, so by the time he arrived. He was taken to the hotel. Where he knew Mack would be and got the spare key that he asked for in reception. So he slipped inside, setting his duffel bag down and made his way over to the bed with Mack. "Hey, there. Surprise.".
Mack moved her hands from her face as she heard the front door of the suite open, slowly pushing herself up. Mack let out a small breath of relief as she saw Aaron, immediately standing to make her way over to him. Meeting him halfway, she slipped her arms around his neck tightly to envelop him into a hug. She closed her eyes as she held him close, exhaling softly. "My favorite surprise," Mack replied gently before pulling back and looking up at him intently. "Was your flight okay?" Mack tried to keep the topic away from herself, mostly for the sake that she was avoiding breaking down completely.
"Yeah, it was okay." Aaron said easily, not really caring much for it. He was so used to all the constant flying, he barely kept awake. He used them for naps. Leaning down and kissing her head several times, Aaron hugged her tightly and sighed softly. "Feels nice to have you back in my arms though."
Mack nodded her head gently at his words, glad to hear it. She closed her eyes as he leaned down to kiss her head several times, managing a small smile as he arms slipped around him once again. "The feeling is mutual, love," Mack replied softly as she held him close.
Aaron laughed a little, pecking her lips and then looking down at her with soft eyes. "Hm? Yeah, I know. How are you feeling though? Everything okay?"
Mack kissed him back gently before frowning a little at his question. Mack shrugged her shoulders a little, moving to sit on the edge of the bed. "I'm fine," Mack replied softly even though it was far from the truth, looking up at him and forcing a small smile.
Aaron took off his jacket as she pulled away, frowning a little and moving to take a seat next to her. "Hm. Okay. But if you aren't completely okay, then that is okay too. Because its okay to be a little disappointed." Aaron said softly, his hand tangling in her hahir carefully as he stared at her.
Mack watched Aaron intently before looking down as he sat next to her. Mack shook her head a little, closing her eyes as he tangled his hand in her hair. She exhaled slowly, licking her lips before speaking up again. "I'm disappointed, I'm sad, I'm embarrassed, I'm all of that. But it's nothing new when it comes to this," Mack replied softly, placing her hands on either side of herself.
Aaron watched her intently as she spoke up, clearly intending on hearig her and paying as much attention as he had to. "Mack...calm down. It's an award. We all lose them." Aaron knew that she deserved them, but she was young still. Maybe her time wasnt it yet, who knew. "You cant let this bring you down, okay?"
Mack turned to look at him as soon as he spoke up. "Calm down?" Mack asked gently, sounding defeated more than anything. "It's not just this award. This is the fifth show I've gone to and gotten nothing, Aaron. They don't want to play my songs on the radio, no one wants me to perform, I'm not winning awards. My record label is considering dropping me because I'm not doing well, okay?" Mack was growing more upset by the second, that much was evident as the tears began to brim her eyes. "All of this is easy for you to say because you're successful with your career, Aaron. And I'm /so/ happy for you, but for once I'd like for things to go my way too. I've been working so hard and giving everything I have any it's...it's just not enough. Maybe this was all a mistake and I'm not meant to do this I don't know." Mack said quickly as her hands moved to her head, squeezing her eyes shut.
Because Aaron knew Mack, he already knew in a way, that what was coming, wouldnt be easy. He had noticed that Mack wasn't having a good day. That she would be uoset and he couldn't blame her. So Aaron just let her at it, he let her say it all out loud because it was easier that way. And once she was done, he nodded slowly and hugged her tightly. "I understand, baby. I know. You think I dont pay attention but I do. I understand things are really tough right nowm they have been for a while but it is gonna get better, baby. It will. Because you are far too talented not to have it happen for you, okay? Fuck the record label, fuck the awards. You are gonna be huge. Because you are amazing, okay Mack? But...sometimes it takes longer. You know how long I have been playing soccer. Since I was a little boy. I didnt just wake up one day and played. It has taken time. So will your music, but it will all pay off. We just need to give it more time."
Mack leaned into Aaron completely as he hugged her tightly, slipping her arms around his middle and nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck as if to hide. She finally let the tears fall freely as she listened intently to him, keeping her eyes shut to focus entirely on his words. She knew that he had a point, but what more did people want from her? Mack was giving it everything she had and clearly that wasn't working. There was nothing left. Mack was concerned that time would only break her more. It would allow more room for things like this to happen. Mack pulled back as he finished before shaking her head a little, unsure as to what to think of it all. She wiped at her eyes and took a deep breath, just trying not to break down completely. "I guess," Mack replied softly, evidently not convinced. It seemed to be working out for everyone else. Why not her? What was wrong with her?
Aaron sighed softly, his hands moving up to cup the sides of her face and leaning his forehead against hers carefully. "It's okay. You know that you can do whatever you want, right? Ofyou want to give it a break, I get it. This is all your decision, babe. I will support you through it all. I just dont want you to focus on sonething as small as an award. What matters most is that you feel good. And if you aren't feeling good enough, then I understand too. I just want you to know that I am proud of you. I will always be proud."
Mack opened her eyes as Aaron cupped the sides of her face, looking up at him intently. "Yeah," Mack replied softly in confirmation to his words before nodding as much as she could. She exhaled slowly, her eyes moving to his dark ones. "I know you are. That means the world to me, really. I don't want you to think it doesn't it's just...getting invited to these things time and time again and sitting there, thinking that you have a chance up until someone else's name is called. It just...it hurts, you know? You're the one and only thing that's seemed to work out for me. Everything else has always just been...like this. I guess I should be used to it."
"I understand...losing isn't easy." Aaron had rough days when the team lost too, so he knew all about that, really. He just wanted to make sure that she didnt feel completely lost. Awards and things like that were popularity contests. "Never get used to failure though. Never. Because sooner or later, while you continue doing what you love, its all going to come right in front of you. And it will all be worth it, baby."
Mack listened to Aaron's words although she moved to stand and proceeded to the window. She crossed her arms over her chest as her gaze fixated on the New York skyline. She didn't respond to Aaron's words although she definitely kept them in mind as she nodded. She could only hope that he would be right. Mack felt lost more than anything right now.
Aaron stayed silent when she did so too, his eyes not leaving her as shr moved away from him and waiting a few moments to actually move towards her and wrap his arms around her. He didnt say anything, just stood there, eyes closed as he elaned his head against hers.
Mack leaned her back against Aaron as his arms wrapped around her, managing to relax a little as her eyes closed. She rested her head against his, exhaling softly as she did so. "I love you so much," she whispered.
Aaron smiled a little as she still spoke up, thinking that she would probably try to close off but glad that wasn't the case and kissing her head gently. "And I love you, sweetheart." He murmured gently.
Mack turned around in his hold and rested her head against his chest, slipping her arms around his middle to hug him tightly. "I'm sorry it's just...I don't know what I'm doing wrong, you know?" Mack asked gently, pulling back a little to look up at him intently. "I'm so frustrated."
Aaron sighed gently as she wrapped her arms around him, jissing her temple and nodding. "You aren't doing anything wrong, baby. You are just starting. You have to stop being so hard on yourself, okay? This is your first album, not your last. It'd gonna be okay."
Mack closed her eyes as he kissed her temple, nodding gently at his words since he was absolutely right. "You're right," she mumbled gently, then leaning up to kiss his cheek. "Always right," she told him with a smile. "Can we go like, swimming downstairs or something?"
Aaron managed a small smile at her words, since that was definitely not the case, but he would let her have this. Aaron nodded a little. "Of course. It is a hotel pool so we gotta get our swimming suits though. Or whatever."
Mack nodded her head gently at his words, not being able to help but laugh softly at his words. "Yeah, of course. Right again," Mack replied gently before leaning up to kiss his cheek gently. She just needed a distraction. She took his hand to lead him inside, making a beeline for her suitcase.
Aaron chuckled softly. He was already in shorts and a shirt so he saw no point in changing, instead let go of her hand to let her change into her suit. "You want me to call the restaurant to get some food?"
Mack let go of Aaron and quickly found her bathing suit. She changed quickly, truly not caring what Aaron saw or didn't see since it wasn't new. Mack put on her top before walking over to Aaron, facing her back to him so that he could tie it for her. "Yes, please. I haven't eaten since lunch."
Aaron checked his phone as she changed, not really making a big deal out of it all since they were just used to all of it by now and then smiled, tying her top for her carefully. "Okay. What would you like to it? I am sire theres everything in there."
Mack turned to Aaron as he finished tying her top, looking up at him intently. Mack thought about it for a moment, eyebrows furrowing before she decided. "French fries and...ice cream?"
Mack flashed him a small smile at his response, moving to grab some towels from the bathroom for them. Mack returned to him and nodded her head gently. "Ready," she replied easily, extending her free hand to him.
Aaron took her hand and began leading her out of the room and to the pool. He knew that Mack loved swimming whenever she had something in her mind, so he would go along with this. He just wanted her to feel better about it all.
Mack followed closely behind Aaron as he led her out of her room, trying her best to forget about everything. She would deal with it tomorrow. All of it. Tonight she just wanted to focus on Aaron and how happy she was to be back with him. At the end of the day, he was the only thing. That truly mattered. Mack had even left her phone behind to focus entirely on him. As they reached the pool, Mack proceeded to two chairs and put the towels over them. There were a few people there, but it wasn't crowded by any means which Mack was thankful for.
Aaron smiled at her as they got to the chairs, moving to take off his shirt and then looking over at her. "Its been a while since we last came to LA, huh?" He asked excitedly. There were people here that loved them and for that he was grateful.
Mack nodded her head gently at his words, pulling her hair up into a ponytail easily. "Hm, yeah. Too long," Mack replied gently. "Are you going to meet up with the boys?" She asked curiously before moving to the edge of the pool.
Aaron shrugged a little, pecking her lips and then moving to jump into the pool. He came back out with a small laugh. "Dont know. I haven't planned anything yet, love."
Mack kissed him back quickly, opening her eyes when he pulled away and she heard a splash. Mack couldn't help but laugh gently, moving to the edge of the pool and sitting on the edge of it. "I think you should," Mack replied softly, setting her legs in the water as she looked at him intently. "I'm sure they miss you. You were the baby of the team, after all."
Aaron swam to where Mack was sitting, grinning a little. "Hm, true. Well, I'll plan something, babe. And we're gonna have fun." He said excitedly, nodding and setting his hands on each side of her.
Mack nodded her head gently at his words, placing one hand on the side of his neck while he other moved to his hair which was now wet. "Sounds like a plan. It'll mean that this trip wasn't a complete waste," Mack replied honestly.
"Hm, a trip with you is never a waste."  Aaron said gently, leaning into her touch and smiling softly. "What else would you like to do in LA while we are here though?"
Mack smiled at his words since she knew they were sincere as ever. She leaned into him and kissed his forehead before pulling back to look at him intently. "I haven't gotten that far. I need to meet with my label tonight. But that's it. Did you have anything in mind?"
"Yeah? Well. I have nothing planned right now. But I'll come up with something." He said gently, letting out a small laugh and grinning as she kissed him. "Are you enjoying the english environment?"
Mack nodded her head gently at his words, relieved to hear it since he typically excelled at things like that. Mack slid into the pool easily, causing her to be in front of Aaron and pressed against the wall. She laughed softly, nodding a little. "It is nice, I won't lie. I don't have to ask people a million times what they're saying. But home is nice too, you know."
Aaron grinned as she slid down into the pool, kissing her cheek and standing right on front of her. It was clear that she needed that closeness and Aaron really didn't mind giving it. "Ah, I know. Its a relief. But yeah, I love home too. I just...I feel at home wherever we are as long as I'm with you."
Mack managed a small smile at his words and she nodded her head a little. "Oh, yeah. I feel the same way," Mack replied sincerely as she looked up at him, eyes scanning over his face slowly. Mack still didn't understand how she'd gotten so lucky that such an incredible man had managed to fall for her.
"Hm, I know." Aaron said eagerly, smiling wodely at her and pecking her lips carefully as he did so. "You're the best, you know that? No matter what you are thinking right now that you dont feel like enough, I promise you. You are the best person I have ever met and the most talented too." He said softly, slipping his arms around her as he did so.
Mack kissed him back gently before she leaned up and slipped her arms around his neck. She moved up easily and wrapped her legs around his middle, then resting her head against his. She listened intently to his words, pulling back as he finished to look at him intently. "You don't think you're a little biased?" Mack asked gently, a hint of teasing behind her tone.
Aaron chuckled a little, nodding eagerly. "I am terribly biased. But that doesn't mean it isn't true. Promise. You could any other person you know, and they would think the same." He said eagerly, leaning his head against hers gently.
Mack rested her forehead against his although she continued to look at him intently, not being able to help but smile widely at him. "You're the most incredible person I've ever met, you know that?" She asked him gently.
"Hm, thank you, babe." Aaron said gently, his eyes soft as he stared at her and then pecking her lips again. "I habe a few weeks off before the season starts, you know?"
"Of course," Mack replied softly. She couldn't help but blush under his gaze before she leaned in to kiss him back gently, settling her hands on both sides of his face. She pulled back as he did, raising an eyebrow at his words. "Yeah? Did you have something in mind?"
Aaron leaned into her touch, humming a little. "Hm, no not really. I just want to spend it with you. But I havrnt come up with anything out of the ordinary, you know?"
Mack ran her thumbs along his cheeks as she looked at him intently, nodding a little at his words. "Hm, yeah." Mack replied softly. "I wonder how soon Drew and Robin will have their wedding," she mused curiously as she rested her head on his shoulder.
Aaron smiled widely at the mention of his best friend getting married. It seemed surreal that Drew had finally found someone that treated him well and that he loved too. It was impprtant to have someone's support like that. "Hm. I dont know if they plan omngetting married real soon. Thought it would be nice, right? Now that you mention them, we might have to go to NYC soon to check out a nice place to set up our tattoo shop and stuff."
Mack smiled at the thought. Sure, Mack didn't know Drew as well as Aaron did, but she didn't have to to see that Robin had turned his whole world upside down for the better. She couldn't have been any happier for hi.  Mack nodded her head gently at his words, leaning into him to kiss his cheek before pulling back a little to look at him intently. "I could hang out with Robin if you do that, you know. I'd really like to get to know her better." Mack murmured gently.
"Hm. That would be nice. I'm sure she would love it." Aaron said easily, pecking her lips and sighing in content. He knew that Mack also needed someone like Robin as her friend. She needed that. "I missed you. I don't like being away."
"You think so?" Mack asked gently, grinning up at Aaron after she kissed him back easily. Mack pulled Aaron even closer after hearing his admission, nodding in agreement. "I missed you too, baby. Award shows are no fun without you, you know that?" She asked gently.
"Hm, I figured you would miss my making fun of everyone there. Cant blame you for that." Aaron said playfully, since he always had something to say. Where Mack was quiet, Aaron was simply funny.
Mack couldn't help but giggle at his words, shaking her head a little at him. "You got that right. I did contemplate like, facetiming you. That's how much I missed your commentary."
