Saw your latest art, and Geeta and Diantha are definitely rumoured to be dating despite just being friends. These two idiots will spend the day with each other then share a bed and be confused about the rumours

Also I know you have your Villain Diantha AU, and her whole reason is that she wants to get rid of those she herself deems “filth” or “to far gone” so that the world is a better place and she can rule/dictate the planet

But what about the other champions? If in separated AUs why would they become the villains of their worlds? What caused them to go down a separate path then their original counterparts?

No but fr tho imagine all the fucking rumours Dia has to hear from her manager abt her and Geeta tho hahaha these two are like the definition of kissing the homies goodnight and they can somewhat do it in the most platonic way like they'll sleep together whenever they're staying at another champion's or each other's place and the first time Geeta joined them the others also thought she and Dia were dating hahaha

Ngl tho, the villain Dia au was originally villain Lance bc I did write two chapters of it too, and he got Giratina from Cyrus hahaha so in a nutshell it's the same corrupted Galar League bc of Rose thing and Lance went all knight mode and killed Rose for Diantha. But another concept I thought that maybe he did snap sometime before that bc people kinda look down on him despite being the Indigo Champion now, as they know Red and Green are still around and those two just probs gave Lance that title bc they dont want it anymore, leading different lives now. And Lance didn't really take that well bc hey, he's a strong trainer y'know, ofc he's Champion, but still people kinda see him as a stand in for Red and Green and he fucking hates it, so during the tournament he went above and beyond to try and beat everyone, and if they're close to winning against him, well.. Dragonite's Hyper Beam will be the last thing they'll see

Idk how'd Steven would be villain tho bc of all the champions I see him as the kindest and the most open minded, so he'd probs have no problems other than the ones he buried for so long na. I do wanna say that maybe he does see Wallace struggling tho, and maybe he would want to change the world for him and Lisia bc hey, those two are his family now too, he loves them very much, and he doesn't like seeing Wallace struggle anymore, so maybe he would do a Diantha and change the world for the one he loves. Tho, unlike Dia, I imagine Steven as a villain to be the kind that's extremely inconspicuous, more so than Diantha. Like legitimately no one knows he's behind every shitty thing that's happening to those who don't like Wallace, bc unlike Dia who showed herself to Malva, Steven kept quiet and just watched from the sidelines

Same w Wallace ngl, but I also think that if smth were to happen to Lisia, he would snap and lash out on everyone. Think of Team Aqua, but tenfold, it didn't help he's the Guardian of Sootopolis too, this mf knows where Kyogre is and knows just what to do for the legendary Mon to bow to his will, and soon everyone will die in the same sorrowful waters that drowned him

God villain Cynthia is also reallyyyyy *wild hand gestures* cause like imagine her similar to Volo, acting all friendly then stabbing the trainer in the back. She knows abt Galactic and tried to "help" Dawn and Barry on stopping them, but she never really stopped them y'know, if you catch my drift. Like she's equally curious what Cyrus would do, what would happen if they open the portal to the Distortion World, and she did find out abt it. She watched Cyrus die in front of her, watched Dawn battle Giratina, and stared Giratina dead in the eyes, telling it that if he joins her, he'll finally escape the Distortion World and let the people see just how much more powerful he is compared to Arceus. And ough smth smth Giratina seeing Volo in Cynthia's place, sees the potential in Cynthia, and God imagine if Giratina did possess Cynthia tho, and Cynthia's playing along too bc now people really know she's unbeatable, now that she's a god.

Iris and Hau I can't imagine them as villains but I can imagine the others becoming villains for them. like,, back then I had this concept, y'know the song Hell's Coming With Me by Poor Man's Poison? I have this thought that people really looked down on them so much that the two became ashamed of showing themselves to the public, but Iris was pissed y'know, and made a vow that when she and Hau returns then all hell will break lose, she will make sure of it. The people thought she was just bluffing, but then suddenly all the champions went against the people of their region, against those who look down on Iris and Hau especially, and the two are just happy y'know that the other champions are "taking care" of em by taking out the people who shit talked them

Leon,, same w Wallace?? Like if smth happened to Hop? Cause he does care abt his bro y'know. But I also wanna add that maybe Rose did smth to Hop when Leon was acting out of line and that was the final straw for Leon and really up and killed Rose, bc Lee really couldn't bare the thought of smth happening to his brother, and if he's going to make sure nothing bad ever happens to the one he loves too (so basically like Diantha, do you see now why these two make me so fucking ill like cjmsndmd)

Ough Geeta my guy so in my hcs she's like,, she's struggling w feeling empathy, y'know, any sort of emotion really. And she's trying, and Diantha's helping her and such, but I also wanna say in the Villain Geeta au, as much as she loves Diantha, she also doesn't listen to her much. So most of the time she feels kinda empty, even though Diantha's helping her. I wanna say in this au, she did know what happened to Sada/Turo, and she was there when it happened, she knows what will happen, but she never warned them of the danger, bc maybe if smth happened to them she'd feel something too. And when they died, she didn't feel anything but the thrill of watching them dying over their own research. She didn't understand why, perhaps they weren't that close, but there's smth abt it y'know, watching others suffer that makes her feel some sort of thing, and it made her feel alive. Tho w this bc I'm trash for these two, if Dia did get hurt tho, that's when Geeta would really feel absolute anger, if those who hurt Dia won't die naturally, then she'll kill them herself. After all, it's one thing to feel that thrill watching someone die, imagine how much more she'd feel if she's the one to actually kill them

i think i find comfort in vashwood because of their unwillingness to say outloud how they care and love for one another. like CANONLY, theres so, so much they dont say, yet their actions reflect everything.

i’m pretty sure i’ve spoke on this before but i like to think that they never say more than they need to because of the world they live in, the type of people they are, the type of upbringings theyve had. it all stems back to them not really feeling worthy of the love they are offered.

wolfwood who only thinks of himself as some fucked up modified killing machine and that he believes theres no chance someone as kind hearted as vash would see the good in him, or what little there is left of the good in him. he’s done nothing but kill, he could never redeem himself, and yet vash isn’t scared nor shuns him for it even with his pacifistic ideals.

vash who has seen the brutal truth of wolfwood’s being and still decides he loves him to the very end.

vash who doesnt believe he deserves any ounce of love or commitment because he only hurts those he gets close to. it’s happened before and itll happen again, like hes a walking time bomb and everything will blow up again and the people close to him will die no matter what he does. and wolfwood who canonly sticks beside him until the end! literally calls himself his guide.

vash who has never had true companionship in his 150 years of living, and wolfwood who follows him to the ends of gunsmoke.

just up until vol10, theyre still toeing the line of the relationship theyve created. but the exact moment vash shows up and chooses to prioritize wolfwood over going after knives (the fucking thing he’s been working towards since the big fall, over a hundred years ago) is the moment he steps past that line. its so extremely open and explicit, even wolfwood asks him ‘why are you here?”

while what he says here is true yes, it also sounds like “you cannot die, i’m here to ‘save’ you because i want to live.”

then to this when wolfwood knows and accepts he will die— the sheer HORROR on vash’s face when he realizes wolfwood wont allow him to save him.

few pages ahead, vash’s monologue starts and these old panels come up. “deep down, he had become very close to me.” basically implying that back then, during the ‘shoot’ moment, they weren’t really close. and when vash accused him: “you’re the coward here.”, “you give up all hope so easily”, it was almost surface level in a way? talking to him at surface level

but now, so many chapters later when wolfwood really does give up hope, vash, with all of his developed love through out the story realizes how differently he feels now. wolfwood made him put a fucking gun to his head (giving up hope), and vash who only scolded and accused him, vs vol10 where when wolfwood gives up hope, vash feels straight terror, that he’s really going to lose him. (also the inverted panel is just so gorgeous.)

the whole “isnt that right, wolfwood?” just proves my entire point that vash’s presence here in this fight steps over the line of vulnerability they had created. he knows how he feels, and he knows that wolfwood feels the same, even if hes speaking to him indirectly.

Honestly, I headcanon that he was like that before the dungeon too. To an extent. There’s this post I like that implies that Mithrun didn’t actually truly love the elf girl from before, he just wanted to possess her because, you know, insecurity and complexes and brother issues.

He wanted to be loved, to possess, to feel worthy. I think that definitely could lead into possessiveness.

Anyway, post-demon those feelings go away. He still has emotions and a personality obviously. There’s still glimpses of who he was, but he doesn’t care about the old insecurities. They’re not there anymore. The inferiority complex is gone. He’s just Mithrun, demon killing machine, living only for one thing. I mean it’s canon that he’s already obsessive.

(I know the word ‘obsessed’ being used here is probably just translation liberties, but the idea still remains. If it’s genuinely ‘obsessed’ in Japanese though, I’ll be very pleased.)

I do think it’s possible to have a relationship with him at this point, but it won’t be conventional— that’s true of any relationship with him at any point in his life though. You’ll always be second. He’s not as invested, not as possessive, but I do think that’s just a natural part of his personality as well and it would still pop up on occasion.

Post-canon Mithrun has decided to live, to help make the broth in a stew or soup, to find use in himself. Yay!

I like the idea of Mithrun deciding to spend his life with someone simply because he enjoys their company, but my favorite thought is him developing a new desire— it’s not a simple desire for a relationship, though. It’s a desire for you. It’s very specific.

When Mithrun develops a new desire, he can’t ignore it. He needs it. He needs every ounce of it. If this desire is for a specific person, then he wants every ounce of them. This possessiveness doesn’t necessarily come from insecurity or inferiority like it used to. It’s from desperation and excitement. He trusts you. If he gets jealous it’s not because he thinks you’re going to cheat, it’s because he sees it and thinks, “They’re mine. Nobody else is allowed to have them.” It’s offensive that someone would even try to take you from him.

He wants his desire close to him. He’s clingy. He’s absolutely shameless. He doesn’t hide his feelings, but he doesn’t really say them out loud either, that’s just not how he rolls. He shows his feelings through actions. Are those actions genuinely unhinged sometimes? Yes.

You’ve got a friend who’s kinda worried that this elf guy is getting too attached? Mithrun has Cithis brain wash your friend into supporting your relationship so they don’t try to get in the way. Is that morally wrong? Don’t care didn’t ask

You want to do something very dangerous? Too bad, you’re getting tied to a chair so you can’t leave. Kick and scream all you want, he’s not risking losing you.

And he does it all with a straight face and no dramatics, too. They’re very normal things for him to do, obviously.

He’s very normal about you, obviously.

He wants every bit of your attention, every touch, every second, every year you have to offer. Does he say that out loud? No. But he wants it.

And when Mithrun actually wants something, he’s going to meticulously tear apart the stars one by one to get it. He hasn’t really wanted anything in 40-ish years. Doesn’t he deserve it?

mister laios dungeon meshi…. as an autistic person, i dont think ive ever related more to a character before.

like laios being so disinterested by the human world around him, unable to understand it and growing bitter towards humans because of how much and how easily they hurt. with monsters theres a Reason for what they do — its all survival, and that makes sense. humans, however, hurt just to hurt. all the suffering that he and falin went through have been because of humans. why would he like them? why would he ever be interested in them? he and falin have Never been afforded being seen as humans.

i feel like, with laios, he likes who he likes, and he doesnt really think about people he doesnt like. sure they exist, and he knows and acknowledges this, but theyre not his. the only humans that really matter to him are the ones that hes grown attached to. hes very compassionate but thats because its in his nature. if he wasnt a kind person at heart, i dont think he’d bother with people at all. that kindness is such a core part of him.

if he were in the modern world i just KNOW that guy wouldnt care about a career or school or even all these supposedly human aspirations that people have-- these long term goals, these big lofty ideals. he would just care about the day to day. working to ensure theres a roof over his head and food on the table. reading about monsters. having dinner with his friends. making sure his loved ones are all doing okay. and i can just imagine people being like "but dont you want... more?" and laios being so confused. why WOULD you ever want more? why would he ever want to give himself to the rat race? be exhausted constantly? work towards a goal that only other people view as worthy? why, when what he has right here is exactly what he wanted!! laios doesnt have these "human" desires and thats a core part of why he feels so alienated from other people. so different. like a monster himself. and as someone who is autistic, let me just say.….. me too buddy.

i have already made a post about how you should love yourself and your sp will love you almost as much (bc they actually are you!) but lets go into more detail

a lot of you guys, including me, wanted to get into a relationship. and with that, youve discovered the law of assumption. the basics start off with whatever you assume will be. but after months of arguing, harassment, and bullying on twitter, you’re probably confused and too scared to ask.

FUCK THAT. let me be the one to tell you that none of it matters. you very much can and WILL manifest your sp. others false opinions (false because theyre not real) mean nothing. this isnt a loass post though im talking about non dualism (which is not the same).

“but wait… i want my sp and non dualism isnt about getting so why would i-“ because your sp shouldnt be someone that brings you happiness. they should be someone who adds to your quality of life. why does that sound like loass vs non dualism? because it is.

people use the law of assumption to manifest desires for their physical world. theres nothing wrong with that! that is how i manifested my current relationship. however, when we speak about non dualism, it goes beyond trying to get anything. youre just being. and “getting” into a relationship can very much help or make your false sense of self feel better. you as consciousness know relationships themselves dont exist because it is you but your ego, the false sense of self doesnt know that. it wants to experience love as part of the human condition. but youre still not getting anything. lemme explain.

you were trying to “get” something that was never outside of you TO make you happy. that doesnt make sense when not only are they you, but they are apart of you. everything your awareness is on “reflects” how you feel about yourself because all there is is you.

lets go back to non dualism’s basics. everything is consciousness = you creation is brought on by your awareness = you. “but back when x happened-“ the past and the future do not exist. the only thing that exist is now. you cant “apply” this way of thinking to something that doesnt exist. that makes no sense. youre just going to confuse yourself. i am telling you RIGHT NOW the only truly real thing is YOU. that is all there is and will ever be. you can control your awareness through observations meaning youre in total control. read that again.

so when it comes to your sp, romantic or not, they are never not yours. they were never not you or not a part of you. every thought, feeling, affirmation, or word you wrote down, they have received. because its you. think about it. are you ever aware of anything youre unaware of? (no). because things only exist the moment youre aware of them!

and remember, if something can come to our awareness like a relationship and leave our awareness it is not real. but you, as consciousness are infinite and are always here and always consciousness. so you are real!

after discovering non dualism i have thought about the feelings my boyfriend has presented to me and how they currently match the feelings i have for myself. i have always loved myself and will always love myself. if i didnt, how could i expect my creation, which is a projection of my own self image, to have different feelings than me? your sp isnt a separate person. Your relationships will always show how you feel about yourself, romantic or platonic. they’re not real because they come and go through your awareness but your ego as the false self believes they are. and thats okay. thats its job. let it be and observe them as consciousness.

nothing can happen outside of your awareness because the moment you are aware/conscious of something, it exist instantly. so if your sp is treating you the way you dont want to be treated then reflect on your own feelings about yourself. this DOES NOT necessarily mean work on your self concept. ask yourself if “you” think youre worthy of what it is your ego desires. a lot of my blockage came from that. i had to fall in love with myself so my ego could comprehend how i could be loved. because its still me.

lets talk about “free will”.

“free will” doesn’t exist. lemme tell you why. the idea of free will is a person outside of you having a say in their own life. the basic principle of non dualism means theres only one being, consciousness (you). so tell me how can “another person” “outside” of you have a say in their “own lives” when none of that exist in the first place?

your sp having or not having free will shouldn’t effect how you feel about them unless you see them as a separate entity outside of you. they’re not an “object” you control theyre your creation and another form of consciousness so of course you have control over your creations you have control over EVERYTHING.

your sp feels the same way you feel about yourself. always. if you dont feel good about yourself then i do suggest working on your self concept. not to “get” anything but for YOURSELF! why not love yourself? why cart that responsibility off to your creation?

at the end of the day, itll just be you surrounded by your creations. you can pick and choose what they are specifically BUT THE ONLY REAL THING IS YOU

okay i just finished rewatching fma brotherhood and can we please talk about how fuckin 15 ed is. like lots of anime protagonists are 15 but ed is *so* 15.

like- he needs to disguise the car so he makes it into a 15 year olds idea of a really cool car, and its so cringe the adults force him to change it. he makes ling a sword and puts a little skull on the handle (for literally no reason except that he presumably thought it would be cool, even though they were in the middle of getting their asses kicked by envy) and then gets defensive when ling calls it lame. he gets riled up unbelievably easily over NOTHING. his fighting style is scrappy- hes experienced but not disciplined, and he'll use whatevers on hand to get the job done. he'll mess around in the middle of a fight, use unnecessarily flashy moves/weapons, and hes just generally a nuisance in combat. he gets really flustered when people insinuate that winry is his girlfriend, and then when he DOES confess to her 2 years later he uses a fucking alchemy metaphor because hes a NERD.

im saying all of this with affection by the way- hes a cringe 15 year old because 15 year olds are cringe! i feel like most of the time these high school age protagonists are basically just adult characters with more naive ideals, or theyre a bit more emotional, or they have "childish" interests. ESPECIALLY with these high stakes action-adventure stories, where the fate of the world is in their hands. but a kid can have the weight of the world on their shoulders and still handle their emotions poorly, act recklessly, goof off at inappropriate times, and generally think and act in a way that adults wouldnt. and still be mature and competent characters! i mean, ed is a GREAT protagonist. he has a full understanding of the stakes and he knows how and when to get serious. but he also does shit like breaking into a secret government laboratory, alone, in the middle of the night, with no plan, and nearly gets himself killed in the process. because hes a reckless kid! and if he HADNT done that, they never would have found out the enemys plan in time!

and its just so perfectly executed- instead of childish traits being sprinkled on top of adult problem solving and emotional regulation, him being 15 informs how he acts all the time! sometimes this is a good thing because he solves problems in a unique way, and sometimes it causes even MORE problems. its a fundamental aspect of his character that contributes to both his strong and weak points.

and my absolute favourite part is that hes still treated like a person worthy of his title and reputation- not only by the adult characters, but by the narrative itself. but he isnt treated like an adult either! the adults around him dont talk down to him, but they also dont have adult expectations of him. theres a whole bit about how the adults shouldnt stand by while the children are on the battlefield- insinuating that while the children are worthy of standing on the battlefield alongside them, they also feel some responsibility to lead them since theyre the adults. which is super reasonable! its probably the best take on adult mentor figures for child main characters ive ever seen.

and yeah theres an argument to be made that it was pretty fucked up of mustang to recruit ed to the military at 12 years old. but he was super upfront with him about what it would entail and didnt force him into it. so watching it as an adult, yeah, its fucked up. but the target audience is kids and thats how kids want to be treated! yeah its a lot of responsibility, but ed knew that going in AND he has a huge support network of trustworthy adults who are looking out for him. hes fine. and hes DEFINITELY better off than most high school age protagonists, who are just sort of thrust into high stakes, life-threatening situations with little guidance. the dynamic is less "you are The Chosen One who will singlehandedly save the world" and more "i mean you certainly have the skills and we really appreciate you working with us but what the fuck is a child doing in the military. who authorized this?? youre going to get yourself killed PLEASE be more careful!" and like. if youre gonna have a show about a 15 year old saving the world, then thats definitely the way to do it.

and what really seals the deal is how pissed ed gets when people treat him like a kid. thats the most 15 year old thing ever! he FEELS like hes being talked down to and disrespected just because hes not given the same expectations and responsibilities as the adults. watching it as a 20 year old im super impressed by the way the adults treat ed, but i can also understand why ed gets so frustrated. its the nature of being a teenager and thinking you can handle more than you can. which really just solidifies how fuckin 15 he is

btw im not saying ed is the only well written teenager in the show. hes just the clearest example- hes so LOUD about who he is and it makes it really easy to talk about his character traits. also hes like my favourite character ever and i just have to talk about him. so like al and the rest are also really convincing kids, and a lot of this stuff kind of applies to all of them! im just talking about ed because i want to lmfao

soulmate!au dazai x reader where port!mafia reader (who used to know dazai when he was an executive) and dazai abruptly realises that theyre soulmates.

it's a first-words-on-wrist-type soulmate marker, except reader refused to verbally communicate with dazai when he was in the mafia, because the reader realised long ago that dazai was their soulmate (and to not seem suspicious, they stopped talking to everybody else as well). however, after dazai left, reader began to talk again and gets on well with the other executives and black lizard.

except reader slips up, says the first words, there's a flash of silver on dazai and reader's wrist and they are very obviously soulmates.

all of this, of course, happens at a neutral meeting between almost all the high ranking mafia personnel (executives, black lizard and higuchi and akutagawa), and all of the armed detective agency.

and then reader up and bolts whilst dazai is left shocked.

Dazai was always damned to end up alone.

The confession was a hard pill to swallow, especially in a world full of soulmates, but it was something he had learned to live with over the years.

If anything, it seemed kind of poetic to think about. Of course, the weird man obsessed with death wouldn't be worthy of having his soul intertwined with another's.

There was a time when Dazai had yearned for a soulmate to call his, claiming that would be the true meaning of his life; something that would finally make him stay and consider living rather than surviving

From Oda to Chuuya, there had always been one person or the other who Dazai had considered his soulmate. Someone who he would secretly mull over at 2am as he wondered how the first thing they said to him hadn't been imprinted on the inside of his left wrist yet.

But over time those thoughts had been swapped out with bittersweet realizations of his fate, and Dazai had come to accept the lack of a soulmate in his life.

In fact, he felt that he didn't even need one. Because the people around him were seemingly enough.

Even if they were currently fighting over yet another invasion scheme to destroy their beloved city.

"The agency needs to stay out of this while we arrange-"

"And if we don't?"

Dazai could tell his words caused a ripple of distress across the room and had anticipated the round of angry whispers that followed, however, what he hadn't been prepared for was the unfamiliar voice that broke through the crowd of murmurs.

"I will not let our home burn just because of some petty dispute!"

Dazai could see the horror on your face as you realized what you had said, or rather, who you had said them to, but no amount of regret could undo the flash of silver light glinting over Dazai's left wrist as your sudden outburst was imprinted on him.

For a moment, the room remained dead silent as the brunette detective frantically looked between his wrist and your face.

But then your shock faded and a horrified gasp left your lips as you abandoned your seat and raced towards the door behind you, the rhythmic thud of your footsteps snapping Dazai out of his reverie.

Maybe he wasn't so damned after all.

The development was as bitter as it was sweet, for it was accompanied by a realization Dazai would rather not face.

You knew.

You knew and yet you chose to hide from him; hide from your fate. It was understandable, after all, who would want to be with the very man who dragged them into a mafia at an age where you were foolish enough to fall into Mori's line of sight?

But that didn't make his situation any better. If anything, it only worsened the pit of unease in Dazai's stomach.

"Go."

Fukuzawa's voice had never sounded as solemn yet encouraging at that moment, his tone a testament to the realization everyone had come to.

"Don't you at least want to know why?"

Mori's words were all it took for him to leap out of the chair he had been occupying for the greater part of that afternoon and hurriedly race out the door as he chased after the fleeting glimpses of your long black coat.

You had your reasons, and Dazai couldn't quite blame you for them. After all, who would want to be fated to someone who had spent all his life living for death?

But perhaps, it was finally time he learned how to use his heart for another rather than trying to stop it.

Dazai just hoped you would be willing to give him a chance.

Im in writing mood but i dont think i could work that into a story so.

In the tekken hades au, Hell Embodied IS Kazumi but not really or more accurately, not anymore:

Quick lore/mechanic recap: during a run, Jin has a chance to go meet Azazel via ominous purple crystals randomly spawning and get the optional boss fight Devil Jin, which during the first encounter unlock the devil fighting style, and the next encounters allow Jin to get or level up devil style moves. Other than that, Azazel has a story sidequest involving "Kazumi" (basically the Chaos and Nyx equivalent).

Basically during that story sidequest, we get Hell Embodied/"Kazumi" backstory and lore. It was originally a place that came to be because of Azazel's influence but it was slightly closer to the surface than where Azazel, a primordial entity older than most gods, resides (Alex is also from where Azazel is from and that's why theyre both reptilian looking but that's another story).

Eventually it developped a curiosity for what was above and assumed a corporeal form to wander up there (and that's when it added she/her to its pronouns)

She attracted the attention of the new God King Heihachi that just finished usurping his father's throne and he eventually asked to wed her. Initially she intended to use him to gain power and control over this surface world but down the line she developped real feelings for him. And they had a son :)

Eventually Heihachi found out the truth about her nature and, feeling betrayed and wholly believing she did not in fact, love him, he stripped her of her corporeal form and status of goddess and drove her back to her "real" place, aka the middle ground between the primordial dark and the surface world, aka Hell, where she would be utterly incapable of leaving, not even getting the chance to stay a few moments up there like its son and grandson (And Heihachi could do that since his status of God King gave him the authority to do so.)

So that was one way to permanently "kill" a god: by forcefully making everyone forget about them, they are no longer a person. So as far as Heihachi and everyone else was concerned, Kazumi was officially dead.

(Another way is to keep a god in a constant state of dying, so to speak, because leaving a god for dead will only insure they return eventually. Not having the authority of the God King, thats what Lars, Lee and Kazuya did to Heihachi: after Kaz defeated him, they put him at the center of the earth, letting the deadly magma of the place do the job, and bind him there so he could not escape. Lars feels bad about it but it needed to be done for the good of everyone, Lee was like "Oh No! Anyway..." at that, and Kazuya would've thrown a party if it was smth he did. And was all too happy to let the memory of his father be buried forever and to never talk about him again.)

(Young gods can die permanently bc they didnt get enough time to cement themselves into the world. Smth smth if a chick cannot break its egg's shell it will die without being born. Wink wink)

Heihachi kept their child around initially for the same reason Kazuya will keep Jin eons later: he reminded him of his mother. And for the same reason Kazuya will treat Jin, Heihachi came to resent Kazuya: he installed a legacy of parricide by "killing" Jinpachi the Sky God, reducing him to a concept, so to secure his throne (but lying to himself as him making sure his son is a worthy heir), Heihachi did the whole heaven cliff tossing to Kazuya.

"Kazumi" found the body of its/her son and yknow the rest.

As for the reason Kazuya doesnt recognize her, well, for starters, the corporeal form of Kazumi was her human design, but Hell Embodied (who it/she just is now) looks more like a ethereal ghostly version of devil Kazumi. Another reason is that Kaz is a stubborn man who adamently refuses to aknowledge his past pain, be it losing his mother or his father in general.

If Jin confront "Kazumi" after Azazel spilled the beans, it will make Jin promise to not reveal anything to Kazuya, for a multitudes of reasons.

Jin relunctantly agrees but he does call Hell Embodied "grandma" when he's on his own, and he does feel closer to her now.

CRESCENDO but something like Yuki Yuna is a Hero which i TOTALLY forced you to watch

the heros are the members of the “hero club” or some sort of idolistic club and they go around and sing and dance for everyone else but the main premise of the club is to find sacrifices worthy for “god”—whoever that may be. So when Crescendo’s first mission begins, they freak out.

Kiyama, although excited, has never been beyond this side of the world. Where the gods lay. His flower may be something like… a sunflower, and his weapon being a polaram or breakers or something like that. something with high mobility.

Miharu is given something like. a daisy maybe? (wasnt able to find anything on masking) and their weapon is maybe something defense-related.

Kirina’s flower is a white lily. Since Kirina expresses herself through dance her weapon might be something like a fan or some sort of leg brace based on kicking

Sato’s flower is a lilac, since Sato (i think) values family and close bonds. maybe their weapon is something based on chanting and bringing things together— like the vines itsuki has

Katsu’s flower is a Strelitzia since they symbolize a free spirit. Maybe Katsu’s weapon is a straight up electric guitar or a gun of some sorr

Shion’s flower is a white rose, my gay ass loves to focus on shion’s split between her unit and crescendo, since she can only focus on one after the events of ykyk.

Anyways with these, this idol group is tasked with the duty of protecting the world against the “Vertexes” or the wrath of the gods against humanity.

That will stay.

Sorry not sorry for unleashing this on the world

Im pretty sure ive ranted about phantom bomber ≠ brain bomber on twitter before but its fresh in my mind and i have to scream again because im so mentally ill

This shouldnt bother me but it does because the fandom wiki gives the impression theyre the same guy, referring to them as the same time in articles. Or. Not bothering to clarify. Granted. Theyre meant to be the same character in the same place but theyre fundamentally different characters in function and characterization with a similar coat of paint.

Brain bomber is a rancid little probably sadistic terrorist scientist with the achievement of almost killing a guy and maiming him to the point of needing cybernetics to function only to brainwash that poor fucking guy, he ALSO was the leader of the dastardlies at one point. His awful little nature fascinates me. Hes described as coldhearted, selfish, worthy of fear. He is likely the kind of character who deserves to be killed without hesitation, but due to his slippery tendencies he gets away with shit. Also hes short.

Phantom bomber, unlike brain, does not have such direct brutality, at least willingly. Ontill the events of super bomberman R 2 all we have is that he was brainwashed by buggler, and THATS why he did awful things. Hes shown to be helpful during the final bossfight and In the end credits hes shown being able to live normally, he probably got therapy and honestly deserves to have a better life and to be happy. Im chocking his weird freak behavior up to being neurodivergent and abnormal (affectionate)

When you think about its a complete flip on the portrayal, and dont get me wrong i dont want to make people feel bad for calling them the same character... But after the attatchment and love i feel for both of them i cant really understand, maybe im just particular maybe im irrational maybe everyone else is wrong and im right who the fuck knows. I just wish there was more art of brain specifically :{

In conclusion im deeply gay for both of these purple braniacs in very different ways. Im probably not going to change anybodies mind but i hope my passion is endearing if anyone actually reads this.

the mcyt gods of war

they dont really have names but for the purposes of this post ill go by The Blood God (technoblades god), The Red Kind (rens 3rd life possession arc), and The Brothers (aeor and exor from empires. yes ik theyre not war gods ill get to it)

in my mind, all mcyt gods of war come from the same source. think darkseid from dc comics; every darkseid is canonically Him, just different facets of the same guy. yes even the kids books and fanfiction.

so every blood god, war god, weapon related deity etc comes from the same source. violence is the same everywhere after all.

technoblades blood god is the most amorphous, i think. it latches onto a worthy soul from an early age, and this person becomes effectively the god themself. they are incredibly practiced in battle and they are Long-lived but do eventually die. theb the spirit of this worlds 'god' passes on to a new soul, another believer who has the capacity to take it a bit beyond whats sane. every blood god is different, some are kind and some frightenjng, some just and some cruel, but they all share the same ruthlessness and battle cry: blood for the blood god.

the red king is also more of a spirit than a being in that they have no physical form of their own, but they do have a personality that is all thwir own, so it can grow and change over time. they arent attached to a single person or follower, but are summoned via ritual or call from someone on the brink of death. the red king then takes over that persons body, helping them either achieve their goal or survive. the former works via contract and the latter via pure human will to survive merging with the red kings will to do the same. i subscribe to the hc from a popular hermitcraft fic (doc and ren otw to season 8) that the red king mellowed after he was summoned by ren because hed never been called to protect before, only hurt and target.

youll have to excuse my ignorance about these last two, im not as familiar w empires as i am hc and dsmp.

aeor and exor are twin gods, unlike the other war gods. i know theyre popularly headcanoned to be order and chaos, but id like to think of them as twin facets of war: cold and hot, calculated and passionate, frosted/hidden and blazing/seen. aeor became more favored in rivendell, and exor became more obvious as a result (to balance the forces) via xornoth becoming corrupted and the war being very obvious to citizens. i also think aeor being a war god makes my hc that scott grew antlers after becoming his champion make a lot of sense; sacrifices must be made for war, after all, and the pain of one man is nothing next to the suffering of a nation.

a common thread among the mcyt war gods is an affinity for temperature (all: blood god and the arctic, red kind and red winter, and aeor with scotts ice powers) and a motif with some warm blooded animal (this ones more shakey: techno being a pig is solely technos and not really the blood gods trait, same with the red king and ren-- the brothers being stags is the only solid connection).

this idea first came to fruition bc i thought it might be cool if rens red winter was the same frost that took over scott in empires; the same god ruining/saving their lives. technoblade came in because you cant really touch one blood god without mentioning the other, and well. here we are.

i imagine every blood god/paladin/host/etc has a passing familiarity with the others but not much else. enough know how to give a nod of respect, a sense that they are kin, but no names or specifics.

death, though, is the same for them all. she is kind, but she is unshakeable.

been rewatching the teasers for new context

The Hero ok so the obvious being the censor bar.. it was the black box all along, he was always doomed like that... i do wonder though if the switch between the pixel and irl is meant to show like... the blinking between control and concious decisions and stuff that we see a lot of with the mask

i cant figure out anything that can be recontextualized in the 2 trailers rn. maybe puzzler saying "your final game begins now" since its the second episode but... also he dies in the end of ep 3 so it was his final run of the show? (but also i dont think theyre dead so lmao idk)

i do find the lack of trailer 3 very interesting too... lulling us into a false sense of security that this 3rd one isnt a show and is real?

spent the past weeks trying to find peace within myself, and yet the idea that im not meant for life has just been reinforced repeatedly. im not going to escape and overcome the things i have lived thru, ill never get to be who i am nor will i be viewed that way, im never going to be worthy of love or peace or security cuz in the eyes of the world i will only ever be a deluded fool who is past their expiration date with no room for growth. i dont trust a single person, ppl who treat me poorly... ppl who treat me well... im suspicious of all of them and what they could be plotting against me. i know i need help, but i dont think ill never receive it and im terrified and dont know how to deal with any of this. how many cries for help does one have to make untill theyre taken seriously

kiamei i love the way the late game treats them and i love how their relationship always emphasizes them as equals <3 their genuine devotion to each other and the way they both represent goodness/community to each other makes me weep since both of them struggle with viewing themself as good or human or worthy of company.. also banger lines what the fuck "lofty aspirations such as saving the world, i too understand this. but how can i endure when i know deep down in my heart that compared to the world, you are more important." bronseele FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!! im such a bronseele warrior but i do think the fact that it relies so heavily on azure waters brings it down esp since i genuinely think they couldve focused on the themes within them even more and made it hit so much harder. but also i will take absolutely no slander on them they make me weep theyre literally just kids who saw the truth in each other in an orphanage that was their first real point of reference for a stable domestic life. they made each other feel normal which is important bc their lives suck ass!!!!!!! the fact that they keep saving each other in part because theyre really the only ones they feel like they can rely on makes me sick

elydenponia i love them i really really really do but they are definitely my fourth favorite hi3 pairing because the flame chasers arc didnt have enough of them to outweigh the insane horses that are kiamei, sakukallen, and bronseele to me. they deserve so much more recognition though of course elysia and edens appreciation of humanities, eden and aponia's grief over elysia, elysia and eden being able to lift aponia out of the darkness, eden and aponia both choosing to stay in the previous era (eden especially because she "belongs in the previous era"), ely's goodbye love song, aponia merging w the elysian realm to honor elysia's memory, eden's sim shattering so that mei could revive elysia's sim and saying that "to be apart of her forever is the most romantic nding" or sm like that, aponia and eden being made to work together and always being paired together in art, apoeden "im the bearer and youre the giver"..., THEYRE SO GOOD.
