Eddie Munson General Headcanons

Male! Reader, holy shit y’all really liked that last one, although I can’t blame you I love him too so here’s some headcanons for y’all, literally rewatching season 4 as I write this, just some fluffy headcanons, might do a smuttier version when I wake up tomorrow on my nsfw account, but for now let’s get into this shall we?

He’s just great

Eddie for sure is a weirdo

But to the people he loves? It’s like weirdo but sincere

He cares so deeply about those close to him that he would go to the ends of the earth to protect them

But his boyfriend?

Don’t even get me started

He would defend him from any asshole that decided to pick on him/beat him up

Such a delicate man

If the hellfire club was cool with it his bf would chill in Eddie’s lap during sessions

Granted none of them have much of a choice given that Eddie did what he did and no one could stop him

He doesn’t do too much PDA because it’s a small town in Indiana in the 80’s, pretty much no one is cool with the gays

But in private this man is all over his bf

Kisses

Hugs

Holding hands

He always wants to be touching him

Ed’s also definitely loves movie nights

Cuddles, a couple movies, popcorn, candy, ya know the works for a proper movie night

He loves every second of it

“What movie do you wanna watch?”

“It’s up to you Ed’s, you always pick good ones”

Without realizing it he definitely blushes a little at comments like those

Hearing tiny praises from the person he loves the most? He is more than signed up he’s running the organization

If he’s interested in DnD, Eddie is immediately getting him a Hellfire shirt, helping him make character sheets, get a set of dice, understand the base rules of the game, and somehow finds a way to get him into the current campaign

Like he’s so deadass about DnD that having a bf who’s also interested might break him

He’s genuinely a sweetheart

Besides the whole “hellfire is a cult”, “he’s a vessel for the devil” bullshit that the rest of the town is convinced about, Eddie’s so down to earth

Especially when he’s high

For the sake of this we’re just talking about weed

Best to smoke with 10/10

Always has snacks and drinks prepared for the inevitable munchies

His trailer is a safe space for everything too

Need to have a breakdown? Eddie’s trailer

Wanna get high and forget the day? His trailer

Just need to sleep in a comfortable place? He will make it as comfortable as his bf needs it to be

Complimenting his rings is like #1 best thing to do

Like I said he loves subtle praise, so complimenting his style is perfect for that

His hair, his clothes, rings, eyes, guitar skills, DM abilities, hell just his dramatic flair

Loves any compliments that he can tell are genuine

Such a sweet man

During his hiding phase he definitely felt bad that anyone was involved

And especially bad if his bf gets involved

It’s inevitable but he still feels a lot of guilt

Definitely the type to just shake off any pain and keep going

He would literally get socked in the face and have a broken nose and still get up just fine and keep going

Insane levels of adrenaline

Speaking of adrenaline

He’s a junky

Loves anything that gets his heart going

At least, in a safe manner

Like not Chrissy dying in front of him racing, like rollercoasters, skiing, skating, good DnD campaigns

Usually the first to ask about dates

He’s very forward with his tactics and doesn’t like to just let his feelings fester

Overall, great guy, 100000/10 I do in fact recommend

100% agree!!

Chim and Hen were downstairs on air matterrss or sofa bed meanwhile the boys were upstairs. I go back and forth as to if Eddie started on an mattress until Buck was like 'OK, this is stupid now get over here.' OR if they just immediately started sharing because why wouldn't they?

And every noise or bed creek, Hen and Chim were exchanged nervous 'oh god it's happening, I don't wanna hear this!!' looks.

And me. Well, I guess on here I've only really talked about being disabled and bi so here a few things to help to get to know me:

- I have a rescue cat called Sooty, I've had him for 3 1/2 years. People regularly describe him as a furry, drunk toddler LOL

- Sooty randomly decides he loves a character on TV. Lately he's been kissing Athena a lot.

- I have mauve hair atm I love dye my hair random colours. Yea, I'm a non binary stereotype and I don't care :)

-i have lip and nose piercings

-i can no longer work but I used to work in theatre. On stage, front of house and in the box office. I miss all of it.

- I lived in Adelaide, South Australia for 6 months when I was 21

- One of my first 911 headcanons was that Buck has ADHD and if feels so good that Oliver endorsed it.

- When my girlfriend first watched 911, she randomly text me not knowing about said headcanon asking if I thought Buck might have adhd as he reminded her so much of me!

- Though weirdly when we rp buddie, I always play Eddie.

- One only brits will get: I once auditioned to be a Blue Peter presenter and got pretty far in the process.

- when I lived in London I kept having incidents of interacting with celebs I'd never heard of. It was a running joke with everyone. This includes several game of throne actors and a few sherlock actors. I once at an industry party tipsily hit on someone not knowing she was in GOT. My mates thought it was hilarious I'd never heard of her. *facepalm*

-I feel like these aren't very interesting but if you/anyone wants more random facts just ask!

wow , just wow. as of october 7th , 2020 it has officially been one year since i launched jackie’s original blog. now , her concept as a whole began much , much earlier. july 23rd , 2019 to be exact. i knew i wanted to delve into the world of stephen king , i knew that i wanted to do something different , i knew that i wanted to take a novel that i’d always loved with characters i always loved , & give them life through someone else’s story. ariel “ jackie ” torrance was the product of that. i did not ever think i’d get off the ground with her , as she’s a female original character & the rpc can be . . . well , the rpc. but thanks to some pretty awesome people , she’s taken on such a life of her own with eight original arcs spanning four decades of her life. she has such a detailed biography that only writing out five of those has the word count at just over 6,000 words.

she’s truly my favorite brainchild out of writing for twelve years & i’ve met so many amazing people while writing her. so many amazing people that have pushed me to go farther when i was ready to throw in the towel on her. i don’t know that she & this blog would be around today had it not been for the lovely beans i’ve met along the way & continue to express their admiration for her character. so i wanted to make this post as a thank you. thank you for listening to my 3 am rambles about the tiniest headcanons. thank you for enabling her impulsive & reckless behavior at times so that she has to be put in uncomfortable situations to grow. thank you for always believing in me & my ability to tell a story even when life has thrown me the wildest of curveballs & i don’t get to be as active as i once was.

i’m going to give a couple of little shoutouts below the cut , & then in no particular order i’d like to thank some of the people who have been by my side since jackie’s beginning. if you aren’t listed because we’re recently mutuals / friends , please don’t take offense. i adore you all & it’s such a pleasure to see you & write with you , but as a huge milestone in her creation & growth , i’d like to give credit to those who helped keep jackie around for you to meet her.

next , someone i’ve known for going on four years now. my softest bean & the other 1/3 of the triple virgos , joey : even when you weren’t on tumblr , you’d always love jackie. like , writing on discord ? just even listening to my rambling about her ? chef kiss. you’ve been alongside annie where when i wanted to give up on her or shit got rough with anything , you had my back. you supported me on this journey & always encouraged ultimate creativity. i cannot thank you enough for that or just the friendship you’ve honored me with. // @notdoriangray

another person i’ve known for four years , but arguably has enabled most of the dumbest shit jackie has gotten herself into. my chaotic fire sign partner in crime , holly : bro. you’re literally one of the hardest working people i’ve ever met , & because of that , there’s been times where we don’t talk as much or as often. but we always stay in contact no matter what. when i spout off random ass ideas or come to tell you what dramatic or thotty shit jackie’s gotten herself into this time , you tell me to spill the tea. but it’s also gotten me into personal peril , toxic friendships that you could see through & help me be a better person in the end for. & you always build jackie up when i feel insecure. if that’s not a real one , idk what is dudeski , but i love you ! // @desireforged , @createdestino , @sharpsensations

my significant annoyance , cas : you were 100% jackie’s first ship. well , isaac was. you get it. i didn’t expect anyone to want to ship with her , let alone develop something over a year in the making. it’s insane to me how loyal you are both as a friend & jackie supporter. i can tell you the dumbest shit about her & all you do is acknowledge how dumb it is but then also support her. i think i love her [ jackie ] has become your catchphrase at this point. but her connections to isaac & bruce have helped me establish her comfort in romantic relationships so , so , so much. you have no idea. it leaves me shooketh how much i adore you & everything you’ve done to help keep jackie’s muse alive. // @scarfwere , @milletant
