Percebi que talvez eu pudesse passar 24horas por dia assistindo a cada pequena ação dela e ainda sim não seria o suficiente, me sinto estranha. Percebi como parece que conheço ela à anos, mas faz um dia. É estranho, soa como familiar, mas é novo. Talvez eu só seja muito clichê e tenha conhecido uma mulher foda, ou talvez só seja uma paixão nascendo, mas tenho certeza de que ela se parece com o Damen Auguste da minha historia clichê(risos). Lembro de pensar "caramba, que bobagem Ever, ele é só um garoto", mas caramba realmente é muito bom ter alguém por perto que faz parecer que todo o resto não existe, que faz eletricidade percorrer por todo o seu corpo e todas essas coisinhas bobinhas de livro adolescente. Isso é estranho pra caralho! Mas tudo bem, acho que a adolescente dentro de mim, não vai morrer tão cedo pois já estou ansiosa para ver ela de novo, sim a garota dos olhinhos puxados e longos cílios e então completar mais dias ao lado dela.

Meet Ashley @ash_shleey she contacted me from Boston to support sending Black Dolls to The Mariposa Foundation @mariposadrfoundation. A group of students where volunteering from the university. So Friday I traveled 5 hours to get to Boston and 5 hours back to NYC. This picture was taken at about 10:15pm. What this represents to me is my commitment and the commitment of the people who gathered around to uplift, uphold, dismantle, birth in love these dolls that represent our liberation from colonial mindset. Each one blessed by the hands that touched them, a society that would want us to believe we are different, coming together in solidarity to shift the narratives and to take back our stories.
