Adapting the 1k word prompt for: what is their opinion on street performers?
It's kind of a dfs-centric idea but I guess from fdb or llh's pov and about street performing as art or spectacle. Amnesia arc llh suggested a-Fei perform in the street and fdb went out of the way to come up with an alternative that didn't involve a-Fei performing anything, though he was cranky and yelling when communicating about it. Which is interesting bc usually it's llh thinking about dfs' dignity. I am curious about your take about possible reasons/ differences in opinions. Was llh joking or serious? Did fdb not like it for some reason? Or was it some other reason? Or a class thing! Potential misunderstandings this might stem from? Some other completely unrelated reason? Does dfs sleep poorly and bc of it fdb thinks he'll be too sleep deprived to perform well? Or does he just think dfs is not capable? Does llh know something about dfs everyone else doesn't know? Or did llh have other plans he was seeing into motion by making fdb mad? Why did a-fei have very little reaction? Or something completely crack headed like Huli Jing is really a fox spirit where only fdb can understand what he's saying - so he tells him ill fortune will befall them if a-fei starts singing or dancing any time within the autumn season. Etc etc idk
Here, have almost precisely 1K of A-Fei thinking about performing on the street to do Li Lianhua a favour. Performing, for him, would of course mean a qinggong demonstration. What else could he possibly perform?

That is absolutely fair. I remember at that age I tried to write a fanfic about Dahlia Hawthorne's redemption arc in the PMD EOS world because... why not right. She was a Vulpix by the way and it's probably why I heavily associate her and Iris with the Ninetales family now
That’s unironically incredible and I love it. I wonder what I would’ve done with Ace Attorney at that age, had I been a fan. And Vulpix makes a ton of sense for her - her hair, and then just all of the mysticism and curses surrounding Vulpix and Ninetales is very Fey-family-fucked-up.
My PMD fanfic had me developing the backstory for my Rescue Team protags (Cody the Meowth and his little sister, Mags the Chikorita), which was actually just me plopping them into Explorers’ dark future together with Crystal the Mudkip, my EoT protag, who was Cody’s twin sister. Which was actually wildly fucked up, I realized, because all of them end up amnesiac, of course. Gardevoir took Cody and Mags to help her save her world, erasing their memories except for that the two of them are siblings, and Crystal and Grovyle were forced to assume that they had been killed by Dusknoir’s forces because that’s always your go-to assumption. And then Crystal loses her memory because of Darkrai when she and Grovyle go back in time, and even once she and Grovyle reunite, they’re focused on saving the world and Grovyle’s not about to be like “hey I know you didn’t remember me or anything about our time and our fight, but do you remember your long-dead twin brother?” like that’s just gonna fuck up the girl even more. So all three of them just lived out the rest of their lives never knowing about the family that they still had out there in another world.
But bittersweet and pain are the PMD way! Shoutout to Blue Rescue Team and Explorers of Time for being the first two video games to ever make me cry.
