Absolutely obsessed with the Anakin of this episode and how he has accepted all the sides of himself, his anger, his compassion, his love, his fear, and he can easily transform from Vader to Anakin and back again because he is all of these things and his initial denial of the dark parts of himself were what led him down the path of the Sith to begin with. He never felt like he could openly be himself. But now he is free and in control and he has truly found balance.

Love that journey for him <3

Hey everyone!

Just popping in to say that I realize it hasn’t been a huge year of writing updates for me, and I’m sorry for the long wait between updates. A lot has happened in my life this year, and I’ve haven’t been writing as much.

But… never fear! I’m still working on all my fics (I’m actually currently about halfway through the next chapter of Stay Close to Me) and don’t intend to stop writing!

Life update: started a Master's program this fall because work was pretty light, new upper management came in and decided I needed more work. Then my boss's husband, who has been fighting cancer, was put into hospice, so she's out indefinitely. So now I have all my work and all of her work, on top of all my school work.

I have a 15-25 page report due in a two weeks and I'm working so late everyday I'm too exhausted to work on it, which is stressing me out even more. I'm stressed about work, I'm stressed about school, and I can't even relax because I have no time...

I just want to give up on everything, I can't be mad at my boss because I feel so bad for her and her family, but this is absolutely awful for me. I need a break 😭😭😭

since ladies-in-waiting obviously exist in concept in the ASOIAF world, do you think that Queen Visenya, Queen Rhaenys, Queen Alyssa, and Maegor's wives had them?

personally, i like to headcanon that Argella Durrandon, the daughters of Edmyn Tully, Alarra Massey, and the wife of Daemon Velayron served as ladies-in-waiting at Aegon I's court at some point.

i also headcanon that Ceryse Hightower was a maid-of-honor before her marriage to Maegor, and Alys Harroway was a maid-of-honor to Ceryse AFTER Ceryse's marriage, which is how Alys caught Maegor's attention (as if Maegor didn't already have similarities to Henry VIII).

(still headcanons) when Maegor was king, Alys' sisters served as ladies-in-waiting/maids-of-honor to her, and i think Elinor Costayne could've been a lady-in-waiting to Alyssa Velayron at some point.

oh btw, a maid-of-honor is basically the same as a lady-in-waiting, however maids-of-honor are unmarried and usually younger, while ladies-in-waiting are married or widowed and usually older
