Tom and Zendaya are definitely engaged, she just doesn't show the ring. Or she shows it in plain site, yet the public doesn't realize it. I mean she stated she bought it for herself. And they knew journalist would check. You have to cover all bases and come up with a story to keep them at bay. Of course, manipulating the truth is par for the course. Too many eyes on them, and they want to protect what belongs to them. I definitely get that.

Voiceplay Visuals: In The Air Tonight

Now this is a song that many people know, at least partially! Even if the name doesn't ring a bell for you, you almost definitely know the part that some people call "one of the most iconic drumlines in music", so really it's no surprise that this was an arrangement from The Human Drumkit himself, Mr Layne Stein! Voiceplay's cover of In The Air Tonight premiered on YouTube on the 17th of June, 2023, and features J None, back again! I will of course say more about the video when we actually get into it, so let's go!

Apparently the style/aesthetics of this video plays homage to a classic 80s cop show called Miami Vice, which used the song "In The Air Tonight" in its pilot episode, in a scene which (so I've heard) has been referred to by some as one of the most iconic in the history of television.

(Also the car belongs to Layne's dad, and likely would have been sitting in the garage since the early days of 4:2:Five, at least)

J looking very cool and fresh in that red blazer! (Reminds me of the Walk Like A Man section of the Boy Band Medley!)

Geoff is, once again, the only bare-shouldered/sleeveless one of the group! (A back-to-back occurrence if you don't count the Peaches video!) (Also peep the necklace!)

A cool audiovisual effect thing to transition into the "modern-day" filming style!

Cesar is vibing, and Eli is back at it again with the unworn-sunglasses-as-accessory!

I won't lie, this may be one of my favourite Geoff Looks of 2023. It's not even anything particular about the outfit, he just looks so pretty in this one! (And his hair is looking very nice here, too 👀😁)

I believe I read a comment somewhere saying this was filmed outside PattyCake Productions or something, like outdoors? And apparently it was a bit warm outside, especially with the lighting rigs, but if they were sweating/partially melting at all during this, you really can't tell! They did great!

J None is freaking amazing, and I really hope he becomes a permanent Voiceplay member again someday; both he and Cesar are fantastice vocalists and performers, and they both have vocal ranges wide enough that they can both easily take the role of baritone and/or tenor!

In my opinion, the original song does not really start getting interesting until the "bass drop" drumline like 3 minutes into the song, but Voiceplay's cover is not even close to dull for a single moment! We get incredible vocals from everyone in this one (and I didn't talk about Eli much at all here, but vocally he was of course phenomenal), and the arrangement has a fair few complexities and interesting stuff to it, like the stomp-clap-click percussion moment which I still struggle to actually keep in time/on beat with! Definitely a very strong cover from Voiceplay, and frankly it's a crime that it "only" has 500k views on YouTube! It deserves a million! At least!

Marcus is running late. Again. It hardly mattered. Get home safe. That was the only request you ever made of him. Safe. Even if he was banged up- bruised or a little broken- all that mattered was that he came back to you every time.

Dinner is wrapped up and placed aside. You'll eat with him when he gets home.

It's well past midnight when you hear the door click open from your spot on the couch, half-dozing, but not asleep. It's still too hard to sleep when he's gone.

"I missed dinner again. Fuck- I'm so sorry, baby." His voice is hushed, a soft whisper even as he berates himself for things so far out of his control.

You're quick to move to him, first pressing a kiss to his lips, silencing his painful attempts to chastise himself. Then you set about your one and only routine on these nights. Pieces of uniform are pulled away, each patch of skin beneath examined closely. A trail of black lycra and rough denim is left in your wake as you make your slowly up the stairs. Marcus's hands match yours in kind, stripping away the soft white of your tank top and the boxers (his) that you had slipped on after cleaning up the kitchen.

Once bare to each other, you kiss him again, and again and again, hands making one more pass, a check for pain, injuries, a wound that needs healing. It's only when you're both satisfied that you fall to the mattress together.

It's no different than last week, or the night before that but also it is, in so many ways.

Marcus holds you close, kisses you deep, fingers and teeth and lips bruising in equal measure.

He touches that spot inside you again and again, pulling ecstasy from you for hours, and you let him. You let him pull you apart on repeat, sweaty and writhing, desperate to feel his hands on you. You let him sear his bite into your skin, a reminder for those nights where you know he won't come home. Small details in JATP that I ✨love✨ Willex scene edition

People liked my Unsaid Emily details post so I’m back for part 2, this time using only scenes featuring my favourite ghost boyfriends.

Starting off we have this brilliant screenshot from the first time they meet. Not much to say about it tbh but I think it’s super cool how Dave Hoge is the producer of the show and they found a way to include his name in such a creative way. It took me way too long to figure out that this wasn’t just a random name that they threw in there.

Next we have this. I’m fairly sure that those posters in the back are promoting the names of bands that Sunset Curve could’ve been (as in they were the draft names). It’s also hilarious to me that the band posters we see in this scene and in any other present day scene are the same bands that were being promoted at the orpheum in 1995. They thought we wouldn’t notice HA. Perhaps my favourite thing about this image however is the fact that Dog Costume man can be seen verryyyy slowly walking into the shot the entire time. Give that man a raise honestly he deserves an oscar for this performance. The bus numbers might mean something but I don’t live in Hollywood or know anything about buses so idk what.

Next we have this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rainbow bracelet!!!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAA I love. Don’t think about Alex nervously going into a store by himself in 1994 to buy this. Don’t think about him checking over his shoulder constantly to make sure nobody saw him buy it. Don’t think about him only wearing it when he’s alone at home and looking at himself crying in the mirror, trying desperately to accept himself. Absolutely don’t think about him eventually being proud enough to wear it around the boys, but before coming home having to take it off and shove it in his pocket, along with putting the small cross back on his chain. :)

Also peep that solid black ring. I’m not saying ace! alex but 👀we already know Willie has the Gay™️ earring so it wouldn’t be too far of a stretch to assume the costume design is trying to say something. It’s on the right hand too, which after some research is apparently the one that means asexual. I’m not ace however so if this is completely wrong someone please come and yell at me.

[EDIT AFTER POSTING: Fifi pointed out to me that an ace ring is typically worn on the middle finger of the right hand, while Alex wears his on his index finger. Because of this please ignore everything I just said.]

Skateboard!!!! Pretty much all of the ideas in this bit are from @funsizearsonist so go follow them k? Firstly, it would not be far fetched to assume that Willie is an artist. He really strikes me as a guy who’d be into street art and who sometimes leaves graffiti in places just because he knows he can never be caught. Willie is creative, and probably designed his skateboard himself. That’s why he was so concerned that Alex dinged it. The design seen here is a flaming sword, which actually fits him perfectly. A flaming sword in literature and mythology typically means that whoever is holding it is a protector or guardian, with the fire representing supernatural abilities. That’s Willie!! In season 1 while he is the one that brings them to Caleb, he is also the one that tries to save them from being jolted out of existence. If it weren’t for him, the boys would be gone forever. On top of this, I really believe that next season Willie is going to play a much bigger part in the battle against Caleb. We’ve seen him use his powers already on the cops, but he 100% can do so much more that we haven’t seen yet. He’s going to be the boys’ saviour I’m telling ya.

Nothing to say about this except look at the pictures on the walls. Caleb knows he’s an icon and I love it.

ehehehehehe this one makes my heart go weeeeeee. Very hard to see, but Willie has his arm around Alex’s shoulders. If you missed my post I did a while ago, Willie touches Alex 14 whole times during this single song. If that isn’t love idk what is.

Ok, this one isn’t so much about the screenshot as it is about what’s happening in the scene. If you’ve always found it weird how they were walking around while talking instead of just sitting down to have a conversation, you aren’t the only one. But the truth hurts. Willie is making the boys follow him to talk because he knows that Caleb is tracking him. By being with them, he’s putting them all in danger, but it’s a risk he’s willing to take for Alex. Willie can’t stay in one place for long, because if he does Caleb is going to catch him. I mean he literally says “if he even knew I was here talking to you, he would destroy me”. What I think is that Willie is only trying to protect the boys at this stage because he knows that Caleb is going to catch him no matter what. By changing locations constantly, at least he’s giving them a chance to live, even if it means he’s going to die again.

Last screenshot and you know I couldn’t leave the hug out. Just look at them :) They’re in love :) That’s all.

I’m just kidding I wanna talk about Willie’s bracelets. Dang flabbit does he have a lot. I like to think that he had none of these when he was alive, but has collected them over the years of being a ghost. Maybe he steals them from stores, maybe he finds them in the many strange locations that he screams at. Maybe, just maybe, each one of them represents a different friend of his who has crossed over. If that last part is the case, then in this moment Willie could already be thinking about what bracelet he can make in Alex’s honour.

this was me and our bb doggo last saturday. hehe. believe it or not i fear dogs but our doggo somehow brought my walls down.

i was bitten by my aunt's dog thrice when i was a kid and i remember having to take 11 shots of anti-rabies and biting into a handkerchief every time because i was a kid back then and ~needles~ frighten me. i guess that whole experience really had an impact on me to the point that i would freak out when there's a dog near me, even when it is just a puppy. there was also a time when i ended up in a ball, crying because my aunt's dogs kept barking and it triggered me so bad that i fell to the ground and my uncle had to carry me into their house. that was how much i fear dogs... until we got our bb doggo.

he softened my heart when it comes to doggos and have helped me cope up with my fear. i still get anxious, nervous, and scared when the barking wont stop but it isnt as bad as before anymore. i love our bb doggo so much. i love him so much that i cry every time my mind goes into thinking how one day we need to let him go — so let's stop right here.

bottomline is i love our bb doggo so much and im so happy we have him. i love how he is so protective of us, especially me; how he'd kiss me many times; welcome me with pure joy and excitement every time i go back home; lay beside us on our bed; and many more adorable, heartwarming actions and antics he does that i will not trade for anything in this world.

i love him so much. 🥺🤍
