Do you ever think about the Tsukinamis undying pride? That Carla and Shin could in fact turn humans into (half)founders but refuse to do so? Because turning a human into a demon would require for the human to drink the demon's blood, but their pride stops them from doing so because they just can't let a human feed from them.
I don't actually think they can turn humans into founders though?
I mean correct me if this has come up somewhere, but if I remember correctly, the only time Carla or Shin bring up turning a human into a demon, it's in their LP routes, and even then I think Carla says he could only do it because Yui already had the kleinoid? (I haven't been over LP in a while though >_>)
Anyway I tend to treat LP as psuedo canon if that makes sense because like this is such a weird detail to bring up and then literally never mention again.
And outside of this small incident I don't think they ever mention it, so I would assume that one of the differences between vampires and founders is that vampires can turn humans but founders can't. Especially as even though Carla and Shin are prideful, I think if they could just grab some random human woman off the streets, turn her and get to making more founders then they absolutely would. You have to remember they have no problem using Yui when she is technically human even if she has founder blood.
The other thing to consider is that I know there's a rumor that the Mukami brothers can't have kids (because they're half-bloods) but I do not know their routes well enough to know whether this is actually canon or not (and the DL fandom is notorious for having unconfirmed rumors). Anyway, if the above is canon (if anyone knows for sure, let me know) then I don't actually know if there would be much point in Carla and Shin turning humans as in that case they would just be left with a bunch of ex-humans they looked down on with no way to carry on their own bloodline which is part of the objective.
I agree that both Tsukinami brothers have an issue with pride (Shin definitely more so than Carla) but I don't think this is the best example of it. I think a much better example that we see in canon would be Shin saying he'd rather die than watch Carla, the future founder king, lower his head before the Vibora. And for Carla it would be in Lost Eden where he initially refuses to form alliances with the othe demon clans and then says he would rather die from Endzeit as a founder than become a ghoul (admittedly he goes back on this two of his endings but again this is showing he has less of an issue with pride than Shin).
Anyway TL;DR the Tsukinami brothers do have issues with pride but as far as I'm aware there's no canon evidence that they can turn ordinary humans into founders (and personally I think if they could just do that once or twice to solve the issue of their species dying out then they would). Plus we have to remember on a metatextual level that Rejet couldn't have included this plotline because if they did, the boys would have had no true need of Yui and so DF wouldn't have gone down as it did.

To clarify, Vlad's a full-vampire (turned by the ancient Pariah, which adds some stuff), not a dhampir to parallel Danny, right?
Does a vampire sire have any additional effects upon their...uh...offspring? (Can they kill their sire, disobey a direct command, etc., etc.)
(I'm remembering the post where you mentioned that you hadn't decided on whose blood Danny had consumed, and Pariah would make good parallels but Vlad would be funny. I wasn't sure if you were coming up with consequences for that, though.)
If this is a universe where each vampire has some 'ability', and some bloodlines have different abilities, then it could be funny for Danny to be an accidental chimera (the Fentons scrapping blood off of other hunters' weapons, stirring it in a pot, storing the excess in the fridge for Danny to accident consume and be 'turned' by like 15 different vampires at once). Also a bit of a reference for the hundred-or-so different abilities Danny gets in the canon verse that he promptly forgets about.
Yes, Vlad is a full vampire who was turned by Pariah. I considered making him a dhampir too, but it worked better story-wise to make him full vamp! And I just....preferred it that way lmao. There will be other parallels between him and Danny that don't involve their vamp status
There's definitely an expected loyalty to whoever turned you into a vampire, but I haven't decided if there's a more supernatural force at play that effects a sire's...offspring?? Ward?? (I'll have to figure out the word for that too lol) Pariah having an upper hand on Vlad not only in age and power but by being able to influence/control him definitely has potential, though.
And I LOVE the idea of him drinking a whole cocktail of blood from multiple vampires!! I think I'm going to take that as canon, actually. He doesn't have any full-fledged powers, but he gets little bits of things from whoever he drank blood from. Maybe even Vlad's blood was in the mix idk 👀

Been thinking about this for a bit since I read @cookinguptales wonderful post.
Yes, you can't be twice turned, and you can’t re-lose your virginity... but that doesn't mean doing it with the person you love can't improve/rewrite the memory (and state of being)
Afanas' test tried to turn his fledgling twice... In my head I'm pretty sure that it’s the double process that makes you go BOOM, rather than just … finishing the first turning?
Season 4 literally showed Nandermo with "Love at First Bite" on a poster behind them, and I would like to assume that that does mean Nandor’s bite/blood can fix this whole clusterfuck. I’ll provide some of my reasoning:
Derek is not his master, he's not even really a friend? Guillermo only goes to him when he needs something (which is actually shitty, but oh well). He's also been a Vampire for a year or 2 tops.... There's almost no power in him.
But Nandor... there's power and age there. They've shown him to be more powerful this season than ever before… Hypnotizing an entire police precinct with little effort (which I mean… is inconsistent with his previous canon, but hey, maybe we can pretend that he just wasn’t putting his all into it before. Maybe he used the Djinn to increase his power off camera, maybe he just wasn’t using his full potential, who knows). There’s definitely power, strength, and age working in Guillermo’s favour if he goes to Nandor. Afterall, Nandor was able to turn a Werewolf into a Vampire (or at least a mixture) without it destroying Gail, so there’s some innate Vampiric power there.
Will Nandor react poorly? Definitely. He will pout, he will attack, but in the end (likely after another drawn out physical fight) he’d come to his senses. Guillermo is his friend, and… well he is Guillermo’s Master. If going feral and finishing the task will keep Guillermo with him, and bind them permanently, I think Nandor would do it. It’d be a way of publicly staking his claim and showing that he owns Guillermo above all others. Even if this means something vastly different in his heart and mind than he lets on in public (love and companionship versus dominion and control).
I personally don't think a second turning wherein Nandor drains Guillermo and has him drink from him is necessary. I think that’s where the test that Afanas and the Sire tried went so horribly wrong. Guillermo doesn’t need to be turned again, he just needs the original turning to be finished.
Memo got one small mouthful of Vampiric blood from Derek due to Derek’s fainting and low blood pressure. That was all that he got from his supposed maker... while being almost totally bled out himself. He was in a weakened state, with very little blood from new/weak Vampire to pull him through it.
I'm under the impression that Memo didn't have enough blood from his Sire, and Derek didn't have the power in his blood to create a strong bond between them, and to fully turn him. Especially not when he's emotionally bonded to Nandor as it is. That’s why Guillermo’s still in awkward Dhampir territory.
I think, if you bypass the draining and just let him drink from Nandor’s throat (wrist wouldn’t offer enough flow for this situation as far as I'm concerned and we're ROMANTIC in this household damn it), I would think Nandor's older, stronger, blood would Kickstart the transformation again, and negate the consequences of double turning - because it's not a second turning, it's just finishing what was already started.
TL;DR: Guillermo doesn’t need to be turned twice, he just needs his lover Master to finish the original turning by giving him his much more powerful blood and rebooting/correcting the stalled transformation.

People see and treat him as a monster all the time. Him interacting with a literal monster with a thirst for blood no less makes him more comfortable opening up about his strange interests than usual.

I mean, he's tasted it. No doubt. When you have such a gory hobby and your gloves somehow always have fresh blood on them, you're bound to get blood in your mouth at some point.
But to actually drink it has never been attempted.

You think it's another round of one of his routine questions and respond something like "it's nice. Refreshing. Irony. Warm. It's kind of like a soup, I guess? It tastes different when you're dead. I can tell you that much." And just keep slurping

You look at him and after a moment of thinking go "yeah."
You have a feeling he probably won't like it. When you were human, it just tasted like blood. Blood is blood. But when you were turned. When your body died and now ran on dark supernatural forces. When the only thing that could keep these dark forces thriving and preserving your mortal vessel was the warm essence of what once lived. It tasted different. This new way of life (or after life) gave you new senses. New flavors, new colors, new sounds. Suddenly, blood, raw organs. It tastes good.
He took a sip. He took a moment to think. Then he took another, longer sip. And his response
"I think I like it."
It was by no means his favorite drink, nor was it something he drank frequently. But on occasion, he did. Mostly with you, but he'd find himself occasionally sipping on it while at work or home alone.

Like not strongly of it, for a human, it's noting more than a subtle after note but for a vampire such as yourself, senses heightened and all that, it's easier to recognize and find it quite enjoyable.

Lmaooooo okokok I won't leave y'all high and dry on that one, cause I do so love the idea. I'll throw out some of my thoughts, because Ferdie x Reader x Hubie + vampire fuckery is just too good to leave alone.
This ended up as one of those like... half-headcanons, half-fic kind of things lmao I dunno man. Also apparently I write both of these two as much more blatantly horny as vampires than I do with their canon characters looool. When I write either of these two normally, it's Repression City.

- now that you've discovered the true nature of the two most influential men in the empire, you're certainly not going to be allowed to roam free. Hubert's first instinct is to dispose of you- and even he is capable of acknowledging in the darker corners of his mind that he'd savor the feeling of you collapsing into his arms as he drains every drop of your sweet, precious blood. But Ferdinand, ever the more genteel of the two, insists that you could merely be kept within sight instead. Happy, safe, cared for- but very much under their watchful eyes.
- while Hubert initially scoffs at the idea of keeping a "human pet," as he says, he does eventually acquiesce. And for a time, things are tense, but stable enough and sometimes even pleasant. Eventually, he'll even take you for walks through the manor grounds, offering you his arm and leading you through corridors lined with stunning art pieces, and at night, the immaculately kept gardens. It's worryingly easy to forget that he's every bit as much your captor as the frigid and terrifying Lord Vestra.
- it's not long before Hubert's patience with this whole charade begins to wear. Late one night, you overhear him confronting Ferdinand, "You can perform the gallant noble all you like, but do not think for an instant that you have fooled me as well. No amount of play-acting will conceal the fact that you long for that human's blood. You ache for it. It's agonizing, isn't it? Tell me- how long will you last before you buckle under the temptation, and sink your fangs into that lovely neck?"
When you dare to glimpse into the room, you see Ferdinand unable to deny Hubert's words, refusing to meet his cutting gaze. Your heart pounds heavy in your chest, but the exact emotions are too tangled and complex to sort. For now, you retreat to your quarters, hoping that neither of the two noticed your presence.
- in the end, it's an ordinary moment of weakness that causes Ferdinand to break; sure, he hasn't been feeding much lately, and you'd made the mistake of coming to see him as the sun began to rise and his appetite had been strained through the night. He's paler than usual, a bit shaky, and your sweet concern, that earnest expression on your face- it's too much to bear. He pulls you to him, trembling but still easily several times stronger than you. His body is cold, but his breath is hot at your throat as he begs for you to stop him, to tell him you don't want his monstrous desires. Yet the moment you tell him he doesn't have to hold back, you feel the sting of those fangs piercing your skin. His hair spills down your shoulder and he's panting, practically moaning in ecstasy as he drinks from you- and it's hard for you not to do the same.
- from then, you and Ferdinand have a complicated arrangement- the veneer of propriety remains, but now you recognize his hunger when it piques, and despite all reason, you continue to find yourself in his arms with his fingers digging down your back and his teeth at your throat. And while you try to keep these clandestine meetings discrete, Hubert knows. He catches your scents mingling on one another's bodies. He notices the healthier flush of Ferdinand's skin. While his true feelings about the matter may be deeper and more complex than he lets on, what he offers you is amused condescension.
- Once Hubert knows that you've been giving yourself to Ferdinand, he takes to calling you "dear little human" or even "pet" more often than your name. It's clear he looks down on you for allowing yourself to be "used" in this way- or at the very least, he wants you to believe that he does. It's not until you finally confront him one night, insisting that you're not afraid of him, that you don't deserve this mockery, that something in his expression changes. "You don't fear me, is that it?" He nears like a great bird of prey, looming over you far too close for comfort, "A pity, that. Here I thought you had some miniscule reserve of good sense. But that cannot be the case, as it seems you aim to provoke me..." Still you stand your ground, and as if to call your bluff, he sweeps an arm around your middle and pulls you to him, trapping you against his taller frame and teasing you with the graze of his fangs at your neck.
- somehow, you remain firm, you don't show your fear, your own thoughts renouncing the trembling of your suddenly-weak knees. And when those sharpened canines pierce into you at last, spreading pain and orgasmic pleasure through you, it's only Hubert's supernatural vampiric strength that keeps you upright. He's firmer with you than Ferdinand, ever in control. His long fingers in your hair direct your head to the side, granting better access to the tender skin of your neck. When you whimper at his ear, he doesn't pause or check in with you- if anything, he drinks more vigorously from you, his hand slowly wandering up your arched spine. Yet for all of this, he's never truly rough or aggressive with you in the slightest.
- the first time Ferdinand catches Hubert's scent on you, he's incensed. He storms into Hubert's quarters, "Why you craven, wretched-- what did you do to Y/N?! I demand an answer for this flagrant violation-" to which his friend merely responds with a cruel smirk and a reminder that Ferdinand himself had sampled you first. Did he really think that their adventurous little human would be satisfied with only one of them? With some time to calm Ferdinand's nerves, he becomes surprisingly receptive to Hubert's suggestion that, in the interest of taking proper responsibility and care for you, perhaps they ought to investigate any other... Desires of yours that they could tend to. You have been so generous towards them both, after all.

So Charlie and Mariana have a very interesting situation. They're actually both part of a vampire hunter group and got assigned to do a recon mission together (much to both their reluctance).
It was just supposed to be a surveillance mission, but they ended up getting in a fight with a vampire they had to kill, only to see afterwards that the vampire had a child they'd recently turned. Although both Charlie and Mariana knew the hunters would want them to kill her, neither of them felt particularly good about killing a child so they decided to take her in until they figured out what to do with her. This is how the bitch wife dynamic got started since neither one of them wanted to be stuck together, but they both now had this secret vampire kid to take care of despite them being two guys in their early 20s with no clue what they're doing
(btw, this was a bit before the binary creature attacks had started)
Charlie and Mariana worked together to get animal blood for Juanaflippa to drink, and eventually met Quackity who saw these two human guys had no idea what they were doing with a vampire kid, which he could relate to since he was still struggling to take care of Tilín at this point in time. Neither one of them told Quackity they were hunters but needed the help so they didn't try to kill him. He introduced them to Jaiden and Roier, and the two of them gave Charlie and Mariana all the help they could need. They also offered to take Juanaflippa many times, but at that point not only had Charlie and Mariana bonded with her (and each other), Juanaflippa didn't want to leave her dads either.
During this time though, Charlie and Mariana were still part of the hunters. Charlie ended up giving the hunters some information about Quackity, which is what led to Tilín being killed. This in turn is how the others discovered that Charlie was a hunter, and only a few days later Mariana fucked up and got Juanaflippa discovered by the hunters as well, so they killed her too. At first Charlie thought the other vampires killed Juanaflippa as revenge for getting Tilín killed, so he went on a bit of a rampage trying to kill Bobby and Leo (but he sucked at it. He was assigned to recon missions for a reason). When he learned it was the hunters who killed her, his entire view of things flipped and he decided to leave the hunters. Mariana was so ashamed of his fuck up he pretty much just left town entirely, and neither one of them has been seen in a while.
It wasn't long after that the binary creature attacks started. Neither Charlie or Mariana know anything about that though since they both left the hunters before it happened.
(Also, Charlie was friends with Wilbur before he got turned, but Wilbur had no clue Charlie was a vampire hunter. He didn't even know vampires existed until after Quackity turned him)
Now as for why I decided to keep Charlie and Mariana human? I'm not sure, I kinda just felt like we needed some variety in the cast and when I came up with the idea of them being vampire hunters I realized I could easily make a few parallels to the canon story with Juanaflippa which I thought was a lot of fun

First Meeting

Summary: Simon returns something and gains a friend.
Word Count: 918 words
[Notes] 1) Y'all this took me 2 years to finish (no, i'm not exaggerating), and I am so glad that I am happy with it!!! Also, there is no canon continuity/vampire lore consistency here, really, as I haven't watched sh.adowhu.nters in literal years. 2) This is written from Simon's point of view.
‘Huh.’ they said, after opening the door. They were wearing the same outfit that they had been at the bar (when they’d first spoken to me after I’d woken up from a nap) - it was a long blue skirt paired with an oversized black shirt, with dark blue sneakers. Clearly there was a theme going on. I was holding the hoodie they’d left there in my hands.
‘Don’t get many vampires around here.’
‘Why do you scare them, or something?’ I teased.
‘Yeah, I know, I’m a regular Van Helsing.’ they said.
'...What?'
'It's a Dracula reference. Y'know Abraham Van Helsing? The frowny doctor with an annoying penchant for confusing metaphors?’
I shook my head. I'd actually only seen the 2004 Hugh Jackman movie, but that was not a fact I wanted to admit right now.
‘You’re biting your tongue. Is there something wrong?’
I blinked slowly. ‘No, no, nothing’s wrong!’
(Expert deflection, Simon. Well done.)
‘I just, uh, can’t enter your house.’
‘Oh, I’m sorry.’ they apologised. ‘Please, do come in.’
So, I stepped past them, with hoodie in my hands and they shut the door behind me.
(5 minutes later)
I was on the couch now, and they were standing in the kitchen, by the fridge with the door open. They then reached in and grabbed a bag of blood, before throwing it at me. I caught it, and paused.
‘Can I….?’ I asked. ‘Sorry, I’m still not quite in control of my teeth yet. I don’t want to wreck your carpet.’
They shut the fridge door and nodded. ‘Just clean it up if you make a mess.’
So, I quietly pierced the bag with my fangs, barely avoiding spraying the fluffy couch cushions. Then I began to drink.
‘You want a straw?’
‘Wh-what?’ I asked, then immediately regretted it - as my mouth was now covered in blood and the bag was now on the floor.
(Oh, I hope I don’t have it in my hair.)
They laughed, and covered their mouth with a hand in embarrassment. ‘Sorry, I didn’t mean to laugh at you.’ They apologised. ‘I’ll just chuck you napkins to clean it up with, yeah?’
All I could do was nod. So, they grabbed a handful and threw them at me. The napkins hit my head and bounced off onto the floor.
‘Ow.’ I mumbled before sighing and sitting next to the stain, dejectedly. They then exited the kitchen and stood next to me looking down.
‘Do you want me to…?’ I motioned at the floor.
‘I’ll do it later, and yes that was a contradiction. I’m fickle like that. Mind if I sit down?’
‘Feel free.’ I replied, slumping my head back onto the couch cushion I’d been leaning against. So they sat down next to me and pulled their legs onto the cushions.
‘You have a nice apartment, how are you able to afford it?’
‘Maia and I split the rent.’
‘Oh! Are you two….?’
‘No, I mean, we were, but not now.’
‘Sorry, I shouldn’t have asked.’ I said, scratching the back of my head awkwardly.
‘No, it’s fine. It doesn’t affect things. Do you want a tour?’
‘Sure.’
So, they grabbed my hand and helped me stand up. Bloodstains be damned.
(Up on the roof - 15 minutes later)
The tour didn’t take long, and soon, I found myself standing next to them (under an umbrella, of course) in front of the pool.
‘Nice view.’ I remarked, looking past them as they took their shoes and socks off and rolled up their skirt before letting their arms dangle into the pool, fingers grazing the water. Then, I processed what I’d just seen and looked at them again.
‘Wait. What are you doing?’
‘Just watch.’
Then, their feet were in the pool, and in place of their legs was a dark blue mermaid tail.
‘Why are you doing this now?’
‘I have to, otherwise it’ll take more concentration when I want to do it next. I don’t like having to think about the simple things.’
They then rolled onto her side and then back over, to position themselves on top of the towel that was resting on the cold tiles. They looked up at me, covering their eyes from the sun.
(Wow. Their eyes shine so brightly in this light. I wonder if they know how pretty they are.)
‘Why were you at the bar the other night?’ I asked.
‘I have too much time on my hands, so I figured I’d get to know the people around me better.’
Subsequently a thought dawned on me.
‘Y’know what?’
‘No. What?’
‘I’ve been through your entire apartment, drunk from your blood stash, and you’ve even shown me your tail-’
They laughed again.
‘Sorry, it’s just, your wording could have been better…’ They waved their hands around in a circle in the air. ‘Please, continue. What was your point?’
(Hope they don’t see that I’m blushing.)
‘..I don’t think I know your name.’
‘Oh! It’s Basil.’ They reached her hand up from where they’d been resting it. I took it and shook it firmly.
‘Simon. Simon Lewis.’
‘That sounds like a shitty line from a James Bond film.’ They stated.
‘I have been told that before….’
‘Well, whomever told you that was probably right.’
‘I think I’d never hear the end of it, if he knew that someone had said that.’
‘So, we’ll just keep this between us?’
‘Sure. A secret between friends.’
‘Okay then, Simon. A secret between friends it is.’

Hmmmm it’s an answer I can’t give a 100% accurately because I feel like in a month from now I could disagree with myself or I would say it different.
I think the need for intimacy plays a big role in it that isn't limited by asexuality (for mi) (○｀ 3′○) I also feel like my asexuality is kind of fluid, although I am definitely more leaning towards being ace than not being. That is, I have a semblance of a drive and I like playing ball sometimes but I definitely don't care to act on anything 99% of the time. So, same goes for my willingness to draw NSFW
I definitely know that only a few of my characters I’m comfortable drawing in general (currently)… Agape is fully asexual I think, even aromantic, the Alistair fling was a bit of a miss for her in general. LA has no sexual drive due to her lifestyle choices and so does Noah. In my 'story canon' (lol) Thom and Moira and all the vampires would need to drink excessive amounts of blood to be able to do it, so their sex life is actually pretty minimal. etc etc. What I'm saying here is that I go about my way to make my characters not to be interested in having sex most of the time just like me HAHA
My final answer I guess is that I am not really sure, but I am not repulsed by sex all the time (I just don't care for it) and I think it's a fun and intimate thing to do (and really fun to draw for some reason :V)

Mind sharing your thoughts about Krul and Mika’s dynamic? It’s so complicated and muddied thanks to her treatment of him, you can’t help but be intrigued. I also can’t help but notice that she’s a lot nicer to Amaya compared to everyone else but maybe that’s just cause she’s her best solider?
Sure!
Overall, I think Krul has a sort of "tough love" approach to "parenting" Mika. I see her as being strict, but very supportive. In fact, I think the strictness comes from her being supportive, in that she's pushing Mika to succeed in his goals.
In the early flashbacks, Krul's treatment of him does seem questionable since she did force him to become a vampire and talks about how Mika drinking her blood instead of from humans makes him reliant on her like a "dog". But, I also see it as her offering Mika that choice while also being very upfront about the caveats. Because she could have shoved the blood down his throat like when she turned him. But for this scene, she waits until Mika bites her on his own. In a way, she let Mika have what could be considered an informed choice. She's just phrasing it in a vampire-like way.
And while in the beginning, it does seem like Krul is only helping Mika because she needs him for his Seraph gene, I do feel that Krul cares about Mika more than just conveniently using him for her goals. In fact, I think it was made really clear in chapter 96. First, there's a flashback of her training baby Mika. Which, on one hand, does look like she's just one-sidedly beating him up. But you also see that Mika isn't shown as distressed, but determined instead. So much that Krul sounds somewhat impressed at what he's willing to do to save Yuu. And then Mika says he can handle it and asks her to keep going, you get this proud Mama Krul smile.
Plus, the harsh training does make sense. Mika would have understood that he needs to be strong if he wants to save Yuu, and he knows he's not going to get that if he's coddled. Although it's rough, Krul's giving Mika what he wants here.
Same chapter, she comments about how Yuu and gang are dumb (lol) and that if she had raised them, they would have turned out smarter, like how Mika is. Another proud mama moment, in my eyes.
After recalling this, she asks Yuu to prove how serious he is about wanting to save Mika. I'll put the panel again, because it speaks for itself.
Krul is doing this because the idiocy Yuu's been showing has made her doubt his intentions and she wants to know that Mika's care for Yuu isn't one-sided, that he actually cares about Mika in return. She wants to know that Yuu was worth all the suffering Mika went through. Which is, the most blatant protective parent behavior ever. And I don't think she would have bothered with saying this if Mika was just a tool to her.
And besides this, I find that despite the harsh things Krul says to Mika (especially in the earlier chapters), she is surprisingly lenient towards him. Again, with not forcing him to drink human blood. And also with how she encourages Mika's desire to save Yuu. Which makes me think that the harsh statements early on that he "can't defy her since she's his owner" shouldn't be taken literally and actually means "be smart and think this through. I'm not your enemy". In chapter 22 where this takes place, it happened because Mika got mad at Krul for keeping her plans from him. But after saying the above, she ends up whispering it to him anyway. Which, I don't think she'd have done if she actually cared about Mika being obedient. Also I do find it mildly hilarious that Mika goes "I want to run away with Yuu-chan" and Krul's response is essentially "Yes, do it. Go run away with him. That works for me too.👍"
And sidenote. Not sure how canon we want to consider this, but I find this bit from the Shitsuji no Seraph drama cd where Krul is going full mama mode doting on Mika to be adorable.
Now getting into Krul and Amaya in comparison. I also used the "strict but supportive" idea when conceptualizing their dynamic. (Although less "mom-like" with Amaya since she wasn't as young and also already has a mom) Similar to the human blood thing with Mika, Krul is upfront with Amaya about what becoming a vampire means and let her make the decision herself. Plus, when Krul tells Amaya that she should leave after the Ashina battle, it is to protect her from experiencing the pain of being shunned as a monster by the people she wanted to protect if they found out. Of course, she does experience this anyway later on. Krul's intention here is something like "I'm telling you this for your own good, but if you need to find out the hard way then so be it." And when Krul finds Amaya afterwards, I wanted to make sure that her words of comfort didn't come off as too gentle. With how I saw her interactions with Mika, I think she's the type to give the honest truth, even if it's hard to hear and won't sugar coat things. I also find that she values independent thought (from how she's proud of Mika for being smart), which is why I had her tell Amaya to decide for herself what it means to be a vampire.
And mirroring Krul's encouragement of Mika to run away with Yuu, Krul so far has been encouraging of Amaya wanting to protect Yui. However, Krul's support of Mika was partially due to their goals aligning. And without giving too much away, this will also hold true for Amaya and Yui. For now, just know that Krul also has her goal of taking down Karlheinz since she finds him to be an annoyance, and that Amaya helping Yui is currently in line with that goal.
So while yes, Krul is nice to Amaya. And yes, it is partially because she has been a loyal and dependable soldier for about 500 years now. But the main point is that same with Mika, Krul is allowing Amaya's actions because it is also what she wants for one reason or another. As for what that reason is, you'll just have to wait and see.😉

1. how often would ranboo let himself drink tubbo's blood?
once a year, if ranboo got to decide entirely on his own. tubbo will sometimes mention that if ranboo doesn't feel like draining another bag of blood, he could have some of his instead. ranboo would take tubbo's blood over the bagged stuff any day, so sometimes it ends up being closer to three or four times a year. they both have a mutual interest in the intimacy of it all, which helps tubbo push past the pain, and ranboo push past the mental block :)
2. ranboo casually drops the fact that his mom was friends with a famous author
YES, and like, the cooler older ones, too. like the ones that english teachers preach about constantly. she was besties with a couple of them for sure.

oh they are so silly indeed. maybe they even make a whole night out of it— getting pizza and then eating it at the top of the play equipment, tubbo pushing ranboo on the swings and then ranboo doing the same and tubbo nearly goes all the way around (man's is strong). maybe they even play a bit of catch, too, and it's not as cool as twilight's vampire baseball because ranboo cannot run fast, but it is very healing for tubbo's inner-child.

yes. and maybe a michael at some point when they're all settled down and ready to raise, like, a whole ass kid. i'm thinking michael's a half-vampire too— just a little menace who steals tubbo's food and takes sneaky sips of ranboo's bagged blood. the cat gets 24/7 attention, and so does michael (who needs it tbh that little guy is so silly).
5. staying up late and ranboo just dropping dead
oh yeah that definitely happens at some point. if tubbo notices that ranboo's staying up a bit too close to sunrise, he'll warn him, but sometimes tubbo gets distracted too and ranboo just flops and tubbo only has half a heart attack before he realizes that Oh Yeahbhe just does That sometimes Crisis Averted :smile:
6. bonus headcanon/actual canon because i said so
when tubbo gets sick (like. colds and flus and stuff) ranboo ('acts of service as love language' husband) will do literally everything he can to take care of tubbo. he'll make him homemade soup (well... he'll call his mom, and his mom will), provide him with lots of tissues and cough syrup, makes sure he gets a good night of rest, and uh... there's also of course the "i have a fever and your hands are cold" so sometimes ranboo will just sit there with his hand on tubbo's forehead for like hours but it's just. THEY'RE SO FOND OF EACH OTHER AND TAKE GOOD CARE OF ONE ANOTHER AND [explodes]

1:. Which Ruki's route do you like the most?
I still have his Lunatic Parade route to play, so I can't be sure if that ends up to be my favorite... but anyway. This is a difficult question because I honestly have loved all his routes so far. Each and every one of them has its intriguing moments.
Maybe Dark Fate? It felt so compelling and lured me in very strongly. It stirred up so many emotions and touched my heart deeply, so it kind of left a mark on my soul. Buuuut More Blood was the game that made me fall for Ruki and Lost Eden deepened that love even more... and Chaos Lineage somehow gave me both DF and MB vibes at the same time, so... I just can't say for sure which of his routes I like the most. I enjoyed Vandead Carnival too but it was rather light-hearted fanservice, I think.
2:. Why did you fall in love with Ruki?
(( Gosh, you ask difficult questions! But don't worry that's perfectly fine.
Why indeed? Believe it or not, Ruki annoyed me at first the most. In the beginning, I saw him as the most annoying man ever. He felt so strict, stern, stubborn, and pushy... and well, he still is all that. But the thing is, my annoyance is sometimes a sign of crush and that happened with Ruki. It just took time before I could admit that... So, I guess I just liked him from the very first moment but struggled to see it. Damn, this is embarrassing.
But still, it took a while for me to really fall in love with him. It was probably because we share interests, his complexness intrigues my mind and his past experiences touched my heart. He can be really seductive too, and that was the reason he sneaked his way past my annoyance. And I love this side of him a lot still.
But Ruki is more than a good-looking and hot vampire. He is an interesting person to talk with; I'm fascinated by his intelligence and conversation skills and his love for literature is a nice plus side too. His family orientation warms my heart, and I feel like he is someone I can trust. He also has his sadistic and dominant side... and that just works for me.
I know that Ruki has done terrible deeds and that his jealous and possessive side is anything but healthy... but even with his faults I just can't help but love him.
Aside from canon material, I need to mention that @ask-ruki-mukami is partly responsible for my deep love for Ruki.
So, why did I fall in love with Ruki? I guess he just was there offering me what I've yearned for, checking all those little boxes for the perfect boyfriend and Master husbando.
3: Which drama CD do you like the most or do you find it funny?
(( I still haven't listened to them all, so it's difficult to say. I liked Zero a lot though. And I have the Lost Eden Stella Set CD which has three tracks for Ruki (there are also Shuu, Kou, and Subaru). That's kind of my comfort CD. Sometimes when I can't sleep I just listen to those Ruki tracks.
But maybe the funniest drama CD I've listened to so far was actually the one with the Sakamakis drinking vampire juice.
4: do you like any other character? (Sakamaki, mukami, Tsukinami or kino)
(( Yes! I do like all the other Mukamis... but I kind of see them like brothers or family members, if that makes sense. I don't have any romantic feelings for them. I also like Shuu and Subaru a lot.
A few people have said to me that I will like Carla once I play his routes. So far I still haven't played any, so I can't really say... but he has caught my interest a bit. He is kind of annoying though.
5: Do you think Ruki would be a good father? (Since he raised Shin's son in one of the bad endings)
(( I think Ruki could struggle with parenthood actually. He has a difficult past and becoming a father could bring out his trauma again, so there is a lot for him to work through at least.
Other than that Ruki is very possessive and jealous. He would be like this with his wife and children too. The way he behaves sometimes isn't something children should see from their father. But at the same time, he is family-oriented and I can believe he would want to do what is the best for his family, keep them safe and arrange everything as perfectly as he could. He would be a very strict but loving father, still, he would have his bad and weak moments too.
So, how do I imagine it... Ruki would try his very best but still, he would fail at times, sometimes even in a terrible way. I can't really give a direct "yes" or "no" answer here. But in my heart, I want to believe in him.

Hi! I recently read your vampire au and I loved it! If it’s not too much trouble, could you tell me a bit more of the lore? Like what the significance of Diluc's star is and why Kaeya has one but wanted it enough to consider taking it from Diluc, why Diluc would be invisible on church grounds, did Diluc ever know Crepus was a vampire before The Incident, and why Kaeya keeps his hunter eye covered?
hell yes i can!! i would love to! thank you for asking! i am really glad you liked the au, it was *so* fun to write ⭐⭐
> the significance of the star
the star itself was added for a few reasons. i'm so obsessed with it in canon and with the potential implications of diluc wearing it but since we don’t know what it is exactly or why he wears it, i feel iffy about including in a non-au fic. also, because it’s a no vision au (just bc i have trouble mixing magic systems), i opted to get rid of delusions as well, but wanted to keep that aspect of a physical item changing hands.
the final reason also ties to its function and it is that a large source of inspiration for that fic is phantom blood. while i was still deciding on how exactly do write my fic, i was in part thinking of it as an au that was just the beginning of phantom blood—which for reference has a character become a vampire by putting on this mask that makes people vampires. the rest of it… in some ways i think could technically work for ragbros, if you changed pretty drastically all the emotional ties (which i would argue are the heart). the key thing is the physical item that turned someone into a vampire, which worked really well for keeping that aspect from before. also, i was still deciding if crepus was already a vampire or if he was gonna have them all do it together or something.
when it came to writing the fic, i changed my mind on this. i’m not quite sure i would say the star is a mandatory part of the process in that it does the turning, or at least part—if only because i dislike that and prefer it to just be between two people. instead, i started to think of it as a ceremonial piece of the process.
i personally like vampires turning people by drinking their blood and then having the person drink the vampire’s blood back, so the star could work to like do the cutting. in one direction, it’s practical bc the human person wouldn’t have fangs, and in the other, it’s entirely ceremonial (or also practical if the vampires don’t have fangs ig). it would work just as well with a knife or other sharp object or really just going in with the teeth!
then that way it also ties khaenri’ah into the vampiric lore—whether that’s bc they invented it in some quest for immortality or whatever, or bc they happened upon it very unfortunately, or some other reason, is totally up to you, though! i personally like they found it (and developed this process that added a physical trinket) and just happened to be unlucky but that’s just me!

because kaeya would have grown up in an environment that would be at least semi-saturated with vampires (or at least lore about them/a peripheral awareness of them. i’m not sure how much he directly watched or if it was mostly secondary effects that he saw. i don’t mind either way, to be entirely honest), i imagine he is familiar with the star ceremony (or its practical effect, if you prefer that!). but i also imagined teyvat as very… like maybe vampires exist in the folklore, but even if they do, i don’t think people are really dealing with them. like i didn’t really end up touching on it bc i didn’t want to be so forceful with it, but i’m a big fan of secret vampires versus everyone knows about vampires. but also that was basically irrelevant to this fic so popular view of vampires was not technically mentioned i think.
so when kaeya sees that star and knows what it does but also that crepus probably didn’t get it anywhere in teyvat, he assumes he brought it somehow—since he didn’t actually bring one with him (or at least not one they knew about; i.e., one he still has), he assumes it came in with him on accident. now whether he thinks it was literally stuck to something on his person or is more vaguely referring to accident, meh! maybe someone sent it with him and he didn’t know or… another explanation that i can’t think of, but suffice to say—if he is the only khaenri’ahn they know of, it only makes sense to him that crepus got it from him.
i’m not sure if what diluc says about it being from the fatui is true. totally up to you! generally speaking, i love making many lines maybe-lies and this is very much one where i had that in mind.
as for why he wants to take it from diluc… there are a few reasons. chief of which is that i do think both of them know very well (whether b/c he told them or they just assume correctly) that crepus wanted to take him with them (i.e., make them both vampires). probably when they got older so they could choose as adults, but he loved his sons and wanted them all to be together forever. even when he died, in my head, he still wanted diluc to do that for kaeya so they could be together and i do think diluc has at least offered.
and kaeya is ofc cognizant of that now, but he’s at a crossroads in terms of how he feels about it (or maybe he’s pretty decided, but a potential for a crossroads is there). because on the one hand, he totally wants to be with his brother, but on the other, he has a very implicit fear and distrust of vampires that was ingrained in him at a very young age (and not without good reason!). even if he can make an exception for diluc (and probably crepus), i’m not sure he could do that for anyone else, much less choose to take that on. he wants to do it in the sense that he wants to be with diluc and he wants to honor crepus’ wishes, but it goes against everything he believes.
this question came about yes because of kaeya’s crossroads in actual canon, but also because i’ve always been kinda curious about how death works in the game. not that i’ve done a whole bunch of research on it or even gone through to see what i’ve forgotten (and i totally should at some point, just wanted to mention before i get into this that i am probably totally missing stuff), and i know we meet ghosts in liyue and have hu tao’s whole story quest, but also it seems kinda... uncertain i guess? maybe unspecified. (which is i would say generally characteristic of how we get info in game which overall i actually really like.) like are these region-specific the way the regions’ relationships with their archon change? are they tied to the celestia-abyss thing? my impulse is to say no bc that doesn’t really seem like a thing celestia would have control over, but then we have immortal (or at least very old) khaenri’ahns which seems strange in regards to that. how would something like ascension (specifically the one vision holders can do) relate to this? especially if we consider the verticality of these relationships? to name just a few things that i will probably look up at some point, but the central question is if kaeya and crepus go to the same place if they die (assuming they go anywhere). and also how that relates to the theology & kaeya’s specific view of the theology as a khaenri’ahn. which again i have trouble addressing in non-au fics bc it’s so up in the air! so this was a way i could begin to ask that question, even if it’s not a perfect translation. like it changes to, would vampires go to the same place?, which is close enough for me. and then just how all of that affects his decision.
when i was brainstorming, i was also considering like that maybe he built up immunities, either to getting his blood drank or literally becoming a vampire. but i decided he already had plenty of reasons to not become a vampire that i liked better (personal disinterest, potential divine intervention, etc.) so i took it out. i think you can still see the echoes of that if you look but i hinted at new reasons for them. or at least gave them new reasons in my head that appeared on the page to various extents lmao.
in addition to that big one, i think there’s an element of wanting to test diluc (around blood, that is)—ironic considering what they discuss regarding his eye later, but him just wanting to check that diluc really is in control. what his motivations are in that, though... i struggle to say for certain too many good reasons. also i think a part of him does just want to get diluc in a situation where he's forced to listen and kaeya can tell him how he was hurt, not only physically but also by him kind-of (mostly) leaving. although i'm not sure if i can actually see him going through with that ;-; finally, there is maybe an element of taking it back, literally. if he feels guilty about it, he can physically acquire it from diluc, so that he can end it as much as he can alone.
and what i said about diluc keeping it from him but also offering it to him at an earlier point—i think that ties to how diluc didn’t exactly get a choice in the matter but also that he knows kaeya is iffy leaning no about it. also, his mind totally changed. not that i think he wants to leave kaeya in this sense, but he has come to recognize that it is unlikely kaeya could ever be fully okay with it.

ah see originally i had a line about this but it sort of didn’t fit anywhere nicely so i removed it! essentially it comes from normal stuff for vampires not working w religious iconography/spaces, which works really well here bc ofc mondstadt uses a lot of christian symbols and stuff and that seems pretty typical for vampires (at least vampires i’ve seen). basically, the church grounds were blessed so he can’t step on them, but the pathway was added later and they just never blessed it so he can walk on it fine. without this kinda convoluted explanation i didn’t touch on in the fic, idk maybe just the graves themselves are blessed. like, it’s very silly but just there being an invisible wall he cannot cross (and kaeya using that to his advantage) was a very fun visual while i was writing. as for kaeya letting him in, whether it is the vampire invitation rule or bc the gate was also blessed is up to you! or maybe they just do it to have an excuse to hang out when diluc comes to town.

gahhh im so indecisive about this, and about the same for kaeya. whatever you prefer, honestly! any combination of them knowing/not knowing is interesting to me. same for if/when kaeya might have learned it (like for what i said about teyvat not really having vampires, i do think it’s SO fun that it’s this huge but probably welcome change for kaeya. but then he just very suddenly learns that actually no it’s not and not only that but they were under his nose the whole time. but on the flip side, i love what his knowledge would mean for his relationship with crepus, who he very much does love; it would be so complicated which i adore)
ultimately for diluc, i don’t think so. at least to me! if only so that he doesn’t have full answers when he deals with all the effects later and doesn’t exactly know what to do with this new stuff. i like him having to kind of figure it out on his own (especially if kaeya might have some answers even) and maybe even hurt someone he loves (worst possible thing for him specifically) to realize it. but i would just as soon argue yes he did know; that’s just what i’m feeling at this point in time.
but like if yes, then there's the element of keeping it from kaeya (which like... ouch) but then also kaeya does know already, at least about vampires if not the ragnvindrs as vampires, and he has to deal with that surprise. it places their childhood in this weird place where not only was crepus keeping secrets from them and kaeya was keeping secrets from them (both standard), but diluc was as well. and idk—it's very different from canon but i would be really interested in that change! and i could just as easily say crepus never explained it if i want to keep that figuring it out on his own thing. the only thing i would want to think about more (that comes to mind as i'm writing this) is how and why crepus would only tell diluc (like *i* think he would want both of them to go with him, but maybe he didn't. or maybe he recognized that kaeya wouldn't want to. or something like that). but also that's... kinda what he does with the delusion anyway (even if i think he only gets a second to mention it, he seems to have been thinking it would've been longer) so i'm not worried it doesn't make sense or anything like that.
at the very least, i don’t think either knew the full extent or situation, and i’m not sure either do even in the present. and the way that conversation changes based on which of them knew in any combo… hehehe

hehe!! ok i love his eye. one of my very first headcanons about him ever was that the pirate thing was, at least in part, legitimate. that has changed form somewhat, but the most notable way that it manifested was that he (and many khaenri’ahns, although technically we only had visuals of dain at this point) wears the eyepatch for the same reason pirates/pilots sometimes do (or are said to do). basically, to help them see better in low light. right now i typically prefer like loyalty or something but i do think this practical reason is… kinda fun? also i like thinking of khaenri’ah in-game as visually dark so it does rely on that. but it worked really well for this fic!
so assuming that vampires get good dark vision, training their eyes to do that would allow any vampire hunters/non-vampires who might be in danger to remove that advantage that the vampires have in that specific aspect. maybe it wouldn’t work if the au khaenri’ah was dark but honestly i wasn’t worried about making it a perfect match so much as i was about including this hc lol. specifics aside, i was really glad i got to mention it because i’ve hinted at it in my fics before but i’m also really indecisive about it (esp when i assumed we would learn more about it... and we did) and i like multiple other reasons which is why i don’t really refer to it so explicitly.
which is why he takes it off in his initial confrontation of diluc—he supposes he needs the advantage. or maybe he just wants to let diluc know that he knows because he now has to deal with this being the reality for his brother but also he has like... if not an outright duty then at least a built-in aversion. (bc i don't actually know if it's something that was expected of him. maybe he was sent to mondstadt for that reason, maybe even more specifically to deal with crepus, whether he knew that or not. but also like… maybe there were other reasons he was sent away. in this case, i might prefer that, but i go back and forth.)
but in the present scene, he doesn’t need to because he’s not planning to fight diluc at all or have a practical reason to take it off. which like, i don't think he's wearing it during the day and taking it off at night so much as he is only taking it off when he needs to. you could blame this on habit or tying it back to that loyalty reason or bc of the scar or something else.
diluc… i think interprets this behavior differently or at least interestingly as he is worried about how casually kaeya is treating it bc he’s so guilty about it. not that i think he's wrong to do this because even canon kaeya seems to be strangely chill about it imo. also, maybe he in part thinks kaeya wearing the eyepatch is him being closed off and wanting to at least partially cut ties.

fans are so fast to forget the one time when Laito feel sick to his guts because of all the boys in that bath scene or when Shuu say he is not into men but sure someones headcanon is more canon then rejet's own drama CDs. You all can ship whatever you want but stop try and justify it, that feels like pushing down your opinion down others throat to agree with you. you like it,? Ship it.
Oh, true. I guess Shuu really is 100% confirmed to be straight in the 'canon' universe. Then again, drama CDs aren't super consistent and sometimes Rejet will contradict themselves as well. :p
As for Laito gagging after drinking the bath water...I think the fact that the guys bathing in the water were his brothers + the Mukami's (aka Vampires he does not particularly like) might have had something to do with it as well.
There's a similar scene in one of the other drama CDs where he pukes after drinking the blood of a middle-aged man. Maybe if it's a young, handsome male which he actually finds attractive, he wouldn't mind as much?
I wouldn't be against Rejet releasing content which supports a possible relationship between the boys and a male character. (or hints at them swinging both ways) but I'm also not particularly waiting for it, nor do I think it will happen because it's still an otome game in the end. ^^;;

Hi! First of all I want to say I really love all your headcanon posts and they brighten up my day every time💗
Now for the question, what are your thoughts about the reason why Louis' vampire powers are so weak relative to his age?
I don't think it's just cause Lestat was young when he made him, as he made Gabrielle way earlier and she's stronger then Louis asfak. I also don't think it's because he didn't kn9w about the abilities since even after he did he didn't get any stronger.
Now I have two headcanons about this that could work together or separately.
One is that, the same way that in children lack of nutrition might permanently affect development, Louis starving himself the first 4 years affected his abilities.
The second one, which is not originally mine and I definitely saw in a fic, is that Lestat intentionally gave Louis less blood, or in some other way made him weaker, so he wouldn't be able to leave.
I would love to hear your options.

Hello!! Thank you so much!! I know a lot of my head canons are silly, but they make me happy to think about and I'm so glad they do the same for other people!
So I actually think there's a canon explanation for this! I believe the lore (if I can ever find the from TVL I'll add it) is that every vampire another vamp creates in a short period of time will be significantly weaker than the one prior with the effects becoming more pronounced each time. Gabrielle is Lestat's first fledgling and she's quite strong because Lestat is quite strong. We don't see much of Nicolas in action, but presumably he's somewhat weaker.
These two are made within a VERY short time of each other, and then Lestat creates Louis. The fact that he's Lestat's third vampire would make him by far the weakest, and it probably contributes to his fourth, Claudia's, inability even turn Madeline at all (though I'm sure her size/age played a role).
On top of that, Louis goes out of his way to avoid becoming more powerful. Many of the other vampires drink from one another and from their superiors to grow in strength, but Louis never does. He's also never operating at his full potential because he never feeds sufficiently at any point in the series. So he's the third fledgling of a vampire who's busting them out one after the other, he's not drinking from other vampires, and he's not even feeding on a normal amount of human blood. Actually, that fic is partially right though, because Lestat says in IWTV that he'd been okay with Louis not feeding enough at the plantation because it made him complacent and weak, so it's at least possible that Lestat was, at times, tacitly enabling this behavior.
Regardless, I love the stunted growth theory, that's genius and there would be a ton to explore there as far as Louis' ED parallels especially. It's also just interesting overall because vampire biology. It makes a lot more sense than canon because I always thought that was a stupid reason for Louis to be weaker.
(He does become stronger in Merrick after drinking from Lestat to recover from his suicide attempt, but I can't remember if that puts him at a "normal" level of strength or above average? Post-trilogy experts, please lmk)

Oh boy. I'm actually toying with the third installment of Blood Is Compulsory being a total angst fest—mostly using themes of monstrosity to delve deep into the problem of Henry. I've got a big beef with how Ted Lasso is portrayed as a father figure on the show to everyone except his own son. And while COVID does not exist in the Ted Lasso canon, it very much exists in my vampire series. So Henry has been living in the USA for three to four years at this point, going at least a year without seeing his father in person. Then he has to move to England, uprooting his life for a father who he probably feels abandoned by, and, by the way, his dad's starting a new family with this vampire dude and his daughter. Can you imagine seeing your estranged dad give piggybacks to another kid? If I were Henry, I would blow a gasket. Act out, start fights, etc.. I even considered writing a scene where Henry breaks one of Alice's favorite toys, leading to Alice shoving him, leading to a sprained wrist or something. If Ted wants to embrace his monster, he's gonna have to come to terms with the damage he caused to his son. Not sure if I wanna go there though, lol.

I mean, The Merry Adventures Robin Hood AU was pretty bonkers. But I also came up with an idea to age up both Henry and Trent's daughter and have them get married with Ted and Trent meeting at the engagement announcement dinner. But then I realized if Ted and Trent got together, Henry and TD would technically be step-siblings sooooooo.

God, I have this long, slow plotty fic that's been percolating for months where Trent is a cis woman. I love the idea of female!Trent navigating the world of sports and single-parenthood. I have this crystal clear vision of her breast pumping in the loo and then Rebecca walks in. After Rupert leaves, I want to have her torn between her respect, admiration, and honest fondness for Rebecca and her need to stay unbiased. I want to see Rebecca's camaraderie with Trent turn into something cold and distrustful and watch how they both find their way back to each other and slowly build a kinship. I want to see post-firing Trent be taken out for drinks with Sassy, Keeley, and Rebecca where they talk shit about Man City fans. I want to see how her experience as a female reporter would change her relationship to Ted—how she would love him and loath herself for it. It would be a story of female friendship, women in traditionally masculine spaces, and all the scarifies we make to get to the top only to realize we hate the view. If I do ever write it, it would be a massive undertaking that would span the length of the show, and the thought terrifies me.
I'm also planning a Mandalorian story with a Cobb/Din/Luke DP, but whatever.

At this point if he doesn't realise his love for xie qingcheng, I'm afraid he yu doesn't know what love means. *the bit about smelling xie Qingcheng's scent* boy is always horny around xie qingcheng.
He bit into xie Qingcheng’s neck while pressing him against a podium. This scene is so hot *hyperventilating*. Xie Qingcheng's blood seems to be the only cure to his bloodlust. I'm sure Meatbun was like this close to making bab an abo or a vampire novel lol. Marking and biting xie qingcheng is something he is really into.
He Yu be really like satisfied with xie qingcheng's unexpected growl and then continue to drink his blood. Ah This dragon finds his human sacrifice too complex so he just drinks his blood instead. I was never into blood play unless it involved vampire characters but hexie has gotten me into it.
He kissed Xie Qingcheng to shut him up. This is hot and funny at the same time.

Xie qingcheng is affected by blood Gu but this is the first.There are so many things here the entire last part of the chapter. I love everything here just everything. All I can say is I'm absolutely obsessed with this chapter. We are getting so close to the truth and the possibility of Xie Qingcheng also being mentally ill had never occurred to me.

Also he was forcibly marked by He Yu. The way he always bites him without consent, that's the only way he yu would have marked xie qingcheng for sure.
He Yu is shocked but also curious about xie qingcheng's conditions. Xie Qingcheng really has too many secrets. And we never really get many deep looks inside xie qingcheng's head other then his thoughts on He yu, his frustration about not being able to find out about his parents and his guilt when he wanted to help he yu after the radio tower we barely had any proper look into his head. Meatbun doesn't let us know much about him.
