I just think it's incredibly unprofessional of them to give ZERO updates on House of Vampire. :/ I think it's safe to assume that it has been cancelled (perhaps because of the stuff with Ruki's VA, etc.) but as a company, the least they could do is publish a public announcement.

Okay so I haven't been keeping up with DL/Rejet news AT ALL but did they ever release an official statement on House of Vampire? Is it like 100% cancelled or are they just going to continue to give us radio silence and hope that everyone just forgot???
Part of me wants to come back to DL during summer when I have more time but it seems like not even the creators want to put any effort into their own series, besides making one million different overpriced merch lines which are all starting to blend together at this point. (it doesn't help that a lot of the art - esp. the faces - look recycled af :/// )

Its okay to loose interest on something, especially since you’ve been inside the fandom for the longest i know, you are the very first blog I followed when i joined the fandom on tumblr, i really appreciate all of the years and hours and sweat you have put in the blog (especially since you also are the owner of one of the most known diabolik lovers oc!).
So i get it if you don’t feel as passionate as you felt before, anyway i just wanted to thank you for all of your work even though i know it will never be enough to compensate the amount of love you have put in your translations, making it possible for everyone to understand the characters more with all of the notes and personal thoughts about every single post and translation, including the organization of every game and cd drama, tweet and comic, month lists of what translations you would have done in the future, and most importantly, the constant uploads no matter how long and endless those translations seemed.
You are truly what i call a hero. And even if you won’t come back i will never complain about your “service” to this fandom<3

Honestly, this message made me tear up a little, haha.
This fandom is very dear to my heart and it wasn't easy for me to make the decision to go on an indefinite hiatus.
I just wanted to be honest with myself and I realized that translating was feeling like a chore rather than a fun activity.
While discovering a new interest in Genshin might play a part in it, I do think it is normal to experience this kind of burn out. So for now, taking a longer break is the best thing I can do. uwu
Perhaps people forget this sometimes, but I'm a working adult outside of Tumblr. I'm a full-time teacher, which is a very emotionally demanding and draining job.
So yes, sometimes I like to come home and just play a game like Genshin, instead of playing DL where I have to once again concentrate because I need to translate the content. ^^;;

Thank you so much for all that you’ve done! You’ve made DiaLovers so much more accessible and helped grow the community. I’ll be a little sad to not see on on my dash as much (although I follow your genshin blog) but I’m glad you’re prioritizing yourself. While I won’t wish you to come back and translate again, I do hope that you continue enjoying otome, and maybe one day do enjoy DiaLovers for yourself again <3

I'm afraid there aren't many other English drama CD translations. ;; I know one blog which does consistent translations but they're in Spanish. > <

Admin I just wanted to say thank you for all the hard work and time you spent translating games for us. Every time I came to this blog I always looked forward to seeing your posts and they never failed to make my day. These years have been memorable all because of you and I wanted to tell you my appreciation for it.

I hope that the translations I made will continue to keep the fandom alive now that Rejet has seemed to abandon the fans. :/ Merchandise is nice and all, but it'd be nice if they could release some new content.

Just to be clear with you guys.
THIS WAS NEVER MY JOB.
Never did I post translations because I felt like it was my 'duty' or because I beared a 'responsiblity' towards the fandom.
I made these translations because I genuinely enjoyed the games and it was a great way to keep practicing my Japanese.
Unfortunately, Rejet has given us very little recently to keep me invested in DL as a franchise.
Who knows, in a couple of months, I might miss DL and finish CL. I can't predict the future.
However, I always told myself that the moment it stops being fun and feels more like an obligation, I would stop.

!! IMPORTANT UPDATE !!
This will be changed to an indefinite hiatus.
Taking a break from DL has made me realize that I truly did lose interest in the series and I have felt much more free without the pressure of having to provide content for this blog.
I am sure this will upset/disappoint many of my followers, for which I apologize.
While I do feel a little frustrated that I lost interest when I came so close to translating all games, I always said to myself that I would only continue translating as long as I enjoy it, which I am not at the moment.
Does this mean I will never finish Chaos Lineage? Not necessarily. I might one day regain my interest in DL, but for now this blog will be inactive.
Of course, all current translations will remain untouched and available to everyone. I do not plan on deleting the content in the future either, so rest assured.
Hiatus [28.08 ~ 01.10]
There will be no uploads on the blog during the month of September.
I was called by my coordinator at school two days ago that they are looking for someone to be the representative for all level 2 Dutch classes. This basically means that I have to keep the Drive with materials up to date, communicate with all teachers who give level 2 classes to update them on changes in regards to the curriculum, evaluation, etc.
Next week there is the big start-of-the-schoolyear meeting and in the afternoon I will also have to sit together with all of my colleagues and prepare them for the start the following monday.
On top of that, I do have to admit that DL has been put somewhat on the backburner for me ever since I started playing Genshin. I suppose after 4 years of translating DL content, I have become a bit burnt-out. (and let's be honest, Rejet aren't the best writers when it comes to the game so the content isn't always as engaging anymore. ^^;;)
I do still want to play and translate the CL routes, but I want to build a bigger queue first before I do so. Right now I have translated the first 5 chapters of Kou's route which means I'm only one week ahead on schedule and I know this will stress me out, especially with work starting again soon as well.
I hope you guys will understand.

I mostly just use the characters I like. :3 Right now I’m using these 8 characters and kind of switching them around:
- Electro Traveler
- Kaeya
- Xiangling
- Sucrose
- Keqing
- Yanfei
- Layla
- Kokomi
My ‘main’ team would be Yanfei / Electro Traveler / Layla / Kokomi but I also like using Keqing / Kaeya / Layla / Kokomi or Yanfei / Xiangling / Sucrose / Kokomi
Got two new characters today to put on the 'I will build you in the future' bench. uwu
Both while trying to pull for Zhongli but unfortunately, I'm going 0/2 for trying to win 50/50s. :p Tighnari does seem like an interesting character though. Unfortunately I don't have his ideal teammates (no Fischl, Yae or Kuki) but I might try something with Lisa in the future, who knows. uwu
