As much as I love Ben 10 I cant deny that it can sometimes suffer from simplistic writing, especially in it's villain department.
Like, it's clear why Kevin was the fan favorite villain ; he's developed and has more traits than just evil, he is an in depth and interesting character. Vilgax is cool but what traits does he have other than sadism? He is evil to everyone he meets and negotiates with nobody, because he is one track minded and all he can think is "I want my Omnitrix and I want it now so I can rule the galaxy". Who is Vilgax besides evil? I won't deny, being willing to dissect children slowly or being a world-conquering war lord who is very okay with causing genocide on Tetrax's home planet (with Tetrax's unwitting assistance and subsequent abject shock and fear) is fucked up and I love that, but my god I wish his traits were developed more.
Even though I'm also a huge Dr. Animo fan, he hasn't many traits beyond being an entitled terror upon society and animal lover, but I enjoy his progression of being power hungry and desperate for more ever since he gained any power from a fraction of the Omnitrix, whereas Gaxy boy over here never progresses : send in the drones, get the assassins, beat up the 10 year old and get fucked up after saying "GIVE ME THE FUCKING ALIEN ROLEX TENNYSON I AM SO SICK OF ASKING" 78 times. The Big Tick did more of a number on earth than Vilgax ever did, and that thing lasted one episode and was destroyed by Cannonbolt alone.
The Forever Knights did just about jack shit too, as it always felt like they were stopped before their plans even began. Ben would stop them at step one most of the time, save for when they got to the sword past the God in that ancient temple, just for their plan to fall apart (literally) as the sword crumbled. Their biggest time as a threat was when they put ben into a dream to get the omnitrix, for once their plan actually progressed and they posed a true threat.
Even then, the Forever King shows up and does literally nothing after hiring every other human villain which only subsequently proved that Animo is the most effective villain of them all. The Forever King made everyone do the work for him, picked up some power thing, did almost nothing with it and was destroyed by Upchuck.
I wish more Ben 10 villains had the depth Kevin had, as Kevin is a phenomenal villain, and is only proven moreso in Ken 10 where he is a fucking despicable person to his son and has only sunken further into his maniacal nature and urge for superiority over others rather than seeking self acceptance and forgiveness to himself, leading a side-villain to he more in-depth and interesting than the main bad guy.

Miss the Misery
This is a (slightly spicy) reader insert about Aloysius Animo. It’s an unusual collaboration with @saeva-cat-blog that I couldn’t pass up. The plot suits him well, but prepare for heavy tension. Reader is female. -Corn Puff

A few years ago, you were the unfortunate assistant to Dr. Animo, a delusional, insane veterinary scientist. At least, he used to be. Throughout your employment under him, you often got into fights that would oddly end in Animo gently tugging your hair back. You hated his work, he was so cruel to animals, but he never saw anything wrong with what he did. When he lost the verities award, he not only went mad, but you also humbled him on why he lost. Despite you going into detail about his “work” being unforgivable, he never saw what others saw. To no one’s surprise, you abandoned him, but it wasn’t easy at all. He wasn’t just mad at you, but he deemed you a traitor despite your work ethics being polar opposites. The altercation unfortunately got a little physical, but you managed to shove him hard enough to knock him down & left immediately after.
Now, 5 years later, while you were visiting a museum, you never would’ve guessed that you’d see your insane partner again. Oh, how wrong you were. While admiring a skeleton of a tyrannosaurus rex, you heard someone stumble inside the room. You didn’t think of it until you heard a painfully familiar voice.
“You again! I thought I made it clear that I didn’t want to see you again! All these years & now you just show up?” it was definitely him. You whipped around with a snarl only to falter a little when you saw him. He looked almost ill & his hair was completely white, not to mention he was wearing something absolutely ridiculous, but you got over it quickly.
“Listen, I was here before you. You know I enjoy museums & will hide from staff so I can stay past closing. What exactly are you doing here, Aloysius?” you growled. He hated whenever you talked to him like that & it showed. Before you knew it, he lunged towards you & grabbed your arm, attempting to drag you out. However, you were always a bit stronger than he was & you easily shoved him down, causing whatever he was wearing on his head to fall off.
“I swear, if you broke my transmodulator, you will be in deep trouble.” he said as he attempted to stand up. You charged towards him & pinned him against the side of the mammoth display. Before he could react, you pinned his arms to the sides of his head. In that moment, after so long, you stared into his eyes. This was something you only did once previously, something that made Animo quiver & it seemed to still yield that effect.
Suddenly, he avoided eye contact & his face turned red, he almost seemed ashamed. This was incredibly odd behavior for him. In the midst of your confusion, he bashfully chuckled.
“I do somewhat miss you being a pest. It was amusing to watch you be so snappy, almost like watching a dog throw a tantrum. Well, more like a fox since you are a vixen.” his words shocked you. Was he serious? He wiggled one of his arms free from your grasp so he could clench your wrist.
“Aloysius, you abused animals & proved yourself to be the most delusional person ever! Don’t try to sweet talk yourself out of this.” you growled again before letting him up. Surprisingly, he didn’t move away from you, but he did have a rather mocking smirk on his face.
“You verbally abused me, but were always all bark & no bite. Tugging your hair shut you up & gave me a bit of stress relief.” he chuckled. You felt enraged that he found amusement in pulling your hair, so you reached behind him & gave a sharp tug to his hair. Oddly, he whimpered out a soft moan. You were definitely taken aback.
He then grasped your shoulder with one hand while the other pulled you closer by the waist. In that moment, his eyes softened to a teasing gaze as he trapped you with his legs acting as a barricade so the arm holding your waist could grasp your face. As his other hand moved down your arm, the hand on your face now tightly gripped your cheeks, causing your jaw to start hurting.
“I fucking hate you.” you whisper yelled. His eyes only sparkled with deeper amusement as he leaned closer.
“I love you too, my pathetic pest.” he purred before pressing his lips to yours. Confusion shot through you as you eventually found the kiss to be enjoyable. Why were you doing this & how did the situation end up here?
Before you knew it, you kissed back & began clawing at his chest. When he started shoving his tongue in your mouth, you felt like your body was on fire. You were actually really enjoying this, you enjoyed kissing Aloysius Animo. When you pulled away for air, a string of saliva lewdly connected your lips. It was oddly thrilling to be like this with your former colleague, especially when he pulled you closer to his broad body.
“You were always so annoying, so biased, so untrusting, so… rebellious. Ruining my work, trying to boss me around, & rubbing my failure in my face. A filthy fiend, a wild vixen.” he nearly moaned before leaning down to kiss your neck. You yelped in surprise at his actions, but you pulled him closer, begging for him to continue.
“You’re a dirty, delusional failure. Working for you was a nightmare.” you whispered in his ear. He only growled in response before biting your neck. From where this was headed, you hoped no one entered the museum while you were there.

Do you think a planchaküle could potentially make a omnitrix-likde device?
I don’t think it’s out of the question. Jury Rigg seems to favor hard machinery over the more energy-esc (a very technical term) technology like the Omnitrix, but I’m sure other Planchaküle can surpass Jury Rigg’s skills. Especially considering experts and such.
Though, I think this is more Would, rather than Could. I don’t really see an Omnitrix-light being in the species’ interest. Nor do I see them collecting DNA, to be honest.
If one did make a DNA transformer, I think it would more… chaotic and destructive, so to say. I could see it mutating DNA or even creating hybrids, just to potentially make the most volitile creatures possible. It would also have less “refined” features of the Omnitrix, such as genetic repair or maybe scanning DNA.
If you were to ask me who could make the closest thing to a functioning Omnitrix, I would say Dr. Animo.

Zarro AU, another canon AU that I’ve decided to yoink and run with lol
Here are some designs!! Firstly, Animo (who this AU centers around actually). His expertise in many human medical and scientific fields, plus his personal drive to fix whats going on make him somehow the most capable survivor to handle this.
His son, James (I’ll post his backstory later. It’s even more in-depth than this and also from my main 10k AU) is also a survivor. He usually sticks close to Shar, who arrived to help once she found out her brother succumbed to the sickness. Much to her parents dismay, she refuses to leave until they can find a cure.
Scout also heard about what happened. Upon learning that Viktor and his troublemakers were the ones to craft the sickness, Scout brought a few Anur scientists to help find a cure. (This is also how i found out via a server friend that Jeffery Combs has a voice cameo as one of Viktor’s lackies 😂😭)
Ben Prime got zoomped to this universe at some point and got the rundown from Animo. Hes been keep the survivors at the Plumber base, and all the important infected that he can find are held in the Plumber base prison cells. This includes his wife (who will also be elaborated on in the James post)
The only important one he keeps out is Zarro. When Bad Ben came to collect him for the Benwars, it nearly got all the survivors killed. So now Animo keeps Zarro on a literal short leash.
Also when he’s not busy he will sometimes just go down to his old cell (where his wife is being kept) and just drink. And talk to her. He is right on the brink of total insanity.
The only things keeping him going are his son’s safety and the CHANCE he can cure Rina.
He knows at this point it is likely hopeless. There is no cure. They’re DEAD. But he’ll keep trying until it kills him. He has to.

Now that we have 10 mythic skins in Overwatch, I was wondering if a list could be compiled for Quirks that could cover each one. Cyberdemon Genji, Zeus Junker Queen, Amaterasu Kiriko, Galactic Emperor Sigma, Adventurer Knight Tracer, Null Sector Wargod Ana, Onryō Hanzo, Grand Beast Orisa, Ancient Caller Moira, and Vengeance Mercy. I'm looking for Quirks tying to the appearances of the mythic skins more than to the abilities of the characters.
If this works, do you have any ideas for an Avatar quirk? Like the ability to just manipulate the 4 elements similar to the Avatar?
Have you got any ideas for a quirk based on the INTJ personality?

Would it be possible to ask for Quirks for each of the 13 main characters in Camp Camp? Max, Neil, Nikki, David, Gwen, Nurf, Nerris, Harrison, Ered, Space Kid, Preston, Dolph, and Quartermaster.
Zenyatta Quirk Idea: Harmony & Discord. The user has two metallic orbs that they can apply to themself or others. One increases a person's healing ability greatly, letting them recover from attacks within less than a minute. The other, however, decreases a person's healing ability, making them much more susceptible to being hurt. The drawback is that only one of each exists and if one is active, so too must the other be. If the user wants to heal someone, someone else has to be weakened.

Any chance of a Quirk based on the Look-Away-Inator? It's from the PnF episode Split Personality, and I figured that was more doable as a Quirk than the Molecular Separator.
So that Denki and Shoto marriage is perfect for Virgil, I'm sure you've made a teleportation Quirk that works for Ed, and for Tye you literally made the Tokoyami and Takeyama QM his name, but what about for Asami? This is the Runaways from Season 2 of Young Justice fyi.

Any quirks based on Jin's side effect from World Trigger? since Foresight exists I think this is a possibility. One I'm kinda thinking about is a quirk that just foresees how you die with little to no context.
Could you help me out with this quirk idea please! My idea is a cloning quirk based on fission. The clones bodies would kind of split off from the user. Each of the clones are capable of independent thought, feeling and action, although they have a mental link, and if one gets hurt, they all feel it. I’d say the clones have half the durability as the user and they can only create 35.
It’s either I go with that idea or have the user create only one clone that has half the durability, and that clone can do the same thing. The clones would have their own autonomy and they would share a mental link.
Idk which idea I should go with, so could you help me decide which I should go for, and if you have any suggestions for the one you pick I’m willing to improve!

Flipping the script on the Ben 10 alien asks you get, how about a Quirk for Dr Aloysius Animo? A constant thorn in Ben's side, up until recently I thought his name was pronounced alloy-see-us rather than aloe-ish-us. I think a build-a-beast Quirk or one that mutates and hybridizes animals would be cool!
hello! would you have any ideas for a drawback of a quirk user that can spawn limbs on any surface? the user can use them (and see through them if they were an eye, for example) but they can only be spawned if the user is nearby. i imagine that one of the drawbacks could be that they can feel pain from those limbs, but i can't think of anything else. thank you for all the quirk stuff you do! your brain is very big :D
So I got this idea for a luck based power.
Good luck bad luck is an emitter quirk that allows the user to grant a person they make direct skin contact with to get a bout of good luck such as getting a perfect score on a hard test, scoring a lot of points in a sports event, winning a lottery ticket, etc. However, the bad luck will kick in and undermine the good luck. Going by the examples, they forgot to put their name down and lost a single point, they pulled a muscle after they scored and had to sit out the rest of the game, the wind blew the ticket out of their hand into a puddle. After the bad luck, the effect wears off. The bad luck won’t do anything life threatening, a minor injury is the worst thing that would happen and it only undermines the good luck. User can only affect one person at a time and can only use it again once the bad luck happens and they don’t know when

About comfort Ben, which one of the villains are mostly protective of him? (Beside kiven, since we already know)
I think that, aside from Kevin, the top most protective (post-reformation) villains would be Zs'Skayr, Psyphon, Dr. Animo and Malware.

Droning Feelings (Animo x fem reader)
You decide to visit Animo while he’s locked up in Plumber Headquarters, unaware how excited he is to see you. Takes place during Omniverse. WARNING! 18+ fic, this contains smut! Collaboration with Corn Puff from @timelordcapricorns & @kingsleychizzard

While most would say you were unfortunate to land a job with Aloysius Animo, the psychopath who tortured animals. Yes, you HATED his work & ideas, but you enjoyed his company. Though insane, he was charming & incredibly cute. You never got the chance to tell him how much you enjoyed being around him. However, when he lost his temper after losing the award he wanted, his attitude scared you, so you left him. Years went by, then you heard about him using a transmodulator to mutate animals, starting his villainous path. After a long string of high-tech crimes that threatened the world, you had no idea where he ended up.
Finally, after so long, you were able to find out where he ended up. A place within earth’s orbit, the prison in Plumber Headquarters. Nothing very surprising, but you can finally see him again. Now, the tricky part; getting there. Luckily, you found out about the location from someone who fought Animo plenty of times, the only awkward thing was that this was a kid. Ben Tennyson.
“Why would you want to visit him? He’s insane, more so than he was years ago.” he wasn’t wrong.
“I know, but I miss him. I use to work with him, I never supported his work, but I enjoyed his company. Just, please let me see him.” you said, shocking the kid. After getting over the crazy part of someone actually wanting to visit Animo, Ben contacted named Rook Blonko. It took a while, but Rook was actually able to get you there.
It was certainly something, seeing an entire base unit of sorts in space, but at least you could see your old boss. Being brought through such a strange place was an experience you couldn’t quite get over. It was scary yet cool, but the reason for your visit came surprisingly fast. However, what you saw in that cell frightened you at first. Animo looked like an entirely different creature.
His skin was greenish, his fingers were clawed, his ears were pointy, & his teeth made him look like a piranha. However, the worst part was that he had clearly maimed himself for personal gain, his brain was exposed.
“Animo, you have a visitor!” Rook said. That’s when he looked up, his face covered with shock as soon as he saw you.
“Can I be let in & have some time alone with him?” you asked. Rook agreed & let you in to greet your old boss before leaving so you could be alone.
“(Y/N)!” Animo cried as he ran to you & wrapped his arms around you.
“Hey, Aloysius.” you giggled as you hugged back. The feeling of finally being reunited was incredible. Suddenly, you felt his tongue briefly caress your ear.
“I have missed you so much, dear. I thought I’d never see your beautiful face again. You meant so much to me, sweetheart.” he purred.
“Aloysius? Are you saying you had feelings for me? It’s crazy, I’ve had feelings for you for a long time.” you confessed. Your confession seemed to trigger something in him. He pulled you towards his bed & sat down with you on his lap.
Right as you were about to say something, he grazed his sharp teeth across your neck, the feeling sending waves of faint pleasure through you. The moment you let out a soft moan, he went feral & bit your neck, causing you to let out a louder moan. He growled & pinned you to his bed.
“Aloysius! Oh!” you moaned, prompting him to grind against you. In order to tease him, you rubbed your knee between his legs, but were shocked at how hard he was. He growled again & began undressing. He was rather scrawny now, but he was still oddly alluring.
You ran a hand across his chest before sitting up to place kisses along his collarbone. Afterwards, you began undressing, blushing as he stared at your body.
“You’re more beautiful than I imagined. I hope you’re ok with this, darling.” he said, shaking with anticipation. You tugged him down while kissing him, wrapping your legs around his waist to encourage him to continue.
Being surprisingly gentle, he slowly inserted himself inside you, claiming your virginity. It was painful, but he let you adjust to his insertion. His gentleness definitely surprised you, but you welcomed this tender side of him.
“Yes… Aloysius… continue, please.” your request was instantly answered as he began thrusting slowly to get you used to the feeling. As soon as you adjusted, he sped up & went hard.
You wrapped your limbs around him to pull him closer, to pull him deeper. To his surprise, you begged him to rail you harder. He never expected this kind of behavior from you, but he definitely enjoyed it. Soon, your legs were bent back as far as they could go, up & over your shoulders. Animo held you down while he went full speed.
“I’m about to… mmh~.” he moaned. You pulled him closer & eagerly kissed him hard. Suddenly, you pulled away to moan loudly as your climax washed over your hot body. Animo grunted at feeling your body grip him stronger than a vice.
He felt you squirt all over him, causing him to tremble from the overwhelming sensation of making his lovely former assistant come undone. He thrusted hard & breached your cervix, causing you to almost let out a glass-shattering moan, but he silenced you with a well timed kiss.
“Let me… I want to mark you on the inside.” he whined, unable to hold back.
“Do it, Aloysius Animo, make me yours!” your cry was all he needed. He pressed hard into your womb to flood you with his seed, grunting as he pulsed heavily with all he had. You felt a little leak out around him before he finally passed out.
Afterwards, you helped him redress, but noticed that he looked tired. You giggled & put your clothes back on & climbed in bed beside him, cuddling into his embrace as you both fell asleep.

Quick note; not a single romance based fanfic about the most iconic Ben 10 villain has ever been made anywhere. So, with the help of @kingsleychizzard & the fact that I also think he’s kinda cute, here’s the very first! Reader is female. -Corn Puff

It was supposed to be a normal day for you, you were off work today & had plans ready for the entire day. However, that changed quickly when you were snatched off the street by some frighteningly large cockatiel. How it managed to get the size of an airplane was beyond you. Before you could process the fact that you’d easily be dropped in one wrong move, you were brought into a random abandoned building & dropped onto a table. Shackles were instantly locked around your wrists & ankles before the table was leaned forward. Great, now you felt like Frankenstein, except you were alive.
“Perfect. Now I can properly test my latest invention.” that voice sounded way too familiar for you to not notice. Looking towards the source of said voice, you saw a man who looked old, but you got a glimpse of his face & were shocked.
“Aloysius? Is that really you?! You look awful, what happened during the last 5 years?” your voice made him freeze. When he looked back at you, it was obvious that he couldn’t believe it.
“(Y/n)? My old lab partner? The one who left me all alone because the news of my work left her full of hatred? The one who threatened to file a restraining order against me if I tried contacting her again?” his voice went from surprised to angry. Wow, 5 years & he instantly brings that up.
“Aloysius James Animo, you were doing incredibly cruel & unethical things to those poor animals! I should’ve slapped you when I had the chance.” you spat. He stomped up to you, but there was the slightest trace of hurt in his eyes. That was odd, his egotistical nature prevented him from feeling such things.
“Shut up.” he snarled. You stared at each other for a few seconds before he suddenly grabbed your face & kissed you. It was warm & passionate, filled with love, something you were sure he could never feel. It was so intense that you actually kissed back, but he pulled away soon after.
“You isolated me, it really hurt. I couldn’t bring myself to go outside partially because of you. The other part was because of what happened with my work.” he said as he undid your shackles. When you were free, you glanced at him & noticed that he actually seemed quite upset, his eyes fully displayed hurt now.
He walked away & sat at a desk, instantly putting his head in his hands, something he always did when stressed. What were the chances of you being reunited after what happened? Feeling the slightest bit guilty, you walked over to him & rubbed his back. He barely reacted, so it gave you time to think. All the times you actually hung out together, how gentle he always was with you, & then you remembered his face the day you left. He looked devastated, almost as if everything he cared about was erased. That’s when it clicked.
“Did you… love me?” you asked. He groaned in frustration & put his head down as the faintest blush appeared on his face.
“I still do, that’s the problem.” he mumbled. This whole situation just got incredibly awkward. You tried rubbing his back again, but he got up & just stood over you. The proximity certainly made you uncomfortable, but you couldn’t seem to back away.
He cupped your face & gently rubbed your cheeks with his thumbs before leaning in to kiss you again. Oddly enough, you wrapped your arms around his neck & deepened the kiss. This prompted him to wrap his arms around your waist to pull you closer. For the first time ever, you realized that he was rather broad & seemed to be well built. Your mind was then snapped back to the kiss when he licked your bottom lip. You honestly thought he’d be forceful, but he was actually being a gentleman & patiently waited for your permission. You allowed him to turn the kiss into a french kiss & your heart nearly melted from the sensation. By the time you pulled apart, the tiniest strand of saliva still connected your mouths, making you blush.
“I guess that means you love me too?” he teased. You simply responded by burying your face in his chest & hugging him. He chuckled & hugged back, clearly pleased with the display of affection.

Hello Ben 10 community i would like to present my newest favorite crackship old man yaoi: Albedo/Animo
Albedo direly needed the Ultimatrix fixed and Animo is a brilliant geneticist and biologist so he was able to fix it. Now they got this weird devotional thing going on lol
Albedo’s base form is now his Galvan form again, and his human form is now different from Ben.
