That sounds poetic in a really sad way. The quote reminds Chongyun of something Xingqiu would say, and Chongyun finds themself wondering if Aether's been around the other man recently, if he's picking up similar thoughts. Or maybe someone from Inazuma; Chongyun knows of a certain poet who is often romantic with his words. Still, it's unexpected, and Chongyun's concerned anyway.

"Are you okay?" Chongyun's asking regardless. He tilts his head to the side to frown at the traveler. "If there's something actually going on, you can tell me." Chongyun admittedly doesn't know as much about Aether as he'd like to, but Aether is a good person, they've always treated Chongyun with respect.
