Twitter talking about Crush 40 covers and whatever, I think they're wrong on Crush 40 doing dog shit covers, I think they make decent covers, some absolute bangers and some misses (not their fault 7 rings is a dog shit song /j /j /j)

But I just fucking learned today that Crush 40's "All Hail Shadow" was a cover. IT BLOWS MY MIND THAT IT WAS A COVER, IT'S SUCH A GOOD COVER IT BLOWS THE ORIGINAL OFF RIGHT OUT THE WIND. It fit's Shadow's gritty nature and edginess way better than the original ever did. No offense to the OGs but their's sounded way too hopeful and smooth to fit the chaotic and gritty nature STH 2005 was trying to go for

Also defending their "His World" cover. I think their riffs and verses are more iconic than Zebrahead's IDGAF. And I think the Zebrahead version is the best version of His World! Like I can understand not liking the beginning but once the main theme kicks in, I think it fits with the more cinematic type of look Sonic 06 was trying to take. I know the original was trying to serve that purpose but it balances both the cinematic and edgy/cool look of Sonic 06
