alrighty, so i rewatched the hospital scene in Stranger Things S3, and here’s everything that happened to Jon in the hospital
may have missed some, leme know if i did
Immediately smashed a flower pot against a dude, shattered
Strangled by a possessed dude with supernatural strength for about 7 seconds
Possessed dude slammed their heads together (while still being chocked)
Was thrown at least five or so feet across (was probably closer to ten) and at least four feet high in the air, ws thrown from his neck
Landed on shoulder entirely
Had metal stool legs slammed into his back by supernatural strength, fell on hi9s face
Was shown to not be breathing properly- unknown if because of physical damage or general anxiety
Could barely pull himself up, was in immense pain
His weight support for standing up was tossed and he fell on his face and wrist
Was yanked up quickly and forcefully by his shirt and the possessed guys supernatural strength
Threw him much harder into (maybe) metal cabinets
Which was from being spun, at least a good five feet of turning to gain speed and force
Was also about three-five feet in high in the air
Landed on his arm instead, face fell on arm
Was once again picked up by his shirt, he was obviously panicking and trying to get away once he realized what Possessed Guy was gonna pick him up like a cat
Threw onto and over a (maybe) four foot high metal roller-shelf
Back landed directly on a ‘pipe’ or something (the bars on top the roller-shelf that you'd hold onto to push)
Fell backwards and landed on his collarbone (maybe the same one), head (maybe) hitting the floor again
Could barely drag himself to try and prevent his and Nancy’s death
Head was pulled up by his hair, one or two feet off the ground
Then slammed back into ground by supernatural strength
Unconscious or just ready to die for about 13 seconds
Then had to stab a (somewhat) man in the throat with scissors
Started to fall, found something to keep balance on
Could not walk, even one small side step, without major limp
Watched a (somewhat) person then shake and…melt..? Into a pile of jelly looking meat
Watched as it slowly crawled, followed it
Not sure if this was a light trick or not, but was shown to be swaying in the hall when the meat things were joining
Shown to have scratches on his neck? It may just be weird bruises, but it’s one big pink oval with what appears as three long red line running the ovals length
Immediately tried to get the meat monsters attention to save Nancy
Struggled to pull a…rod? put to try and save Nancy, while still calling out to it
Was walking towards the monster/Nancy, rod in hand, having trouble breathing, slouched to one side, and major limp
As soon as he saw the monster going in through the vent, dropped the rod (out of shock? Stress? worry?) and tried his best to run, still sloped to one side and running
It looked like his ankle was twisted when he ran, it was leaning way too much outward
Body Slammed the door twice
Got an oxygen tank? Was big and cylinder
Repeatedly tried busting the door open with his full force
Probably hit around 10+ times, moved to door-window at some point
Fully ran into the room for Nancy while the kids bolted after monster was gone
Asked if she was hurt
Take a look at yourself, Jonathan.
Must have then ran faster, because he caught up with the kids, down however manys sets of stairs, and out the door with a possibly broken leg/ankle, twisted at least, and many, many other issues
literally how is he still alive. not as in I want him to die- but he must be a GOD or some shit. even bigger question- how is he shown to be perfectly fine, he should be in the ER or some shit after that- i don’t know what it takes to get a concussion- but im sure he has one. like after all that he’d need crutches at least. at least for his ankle/leg. i know i sure as hell would, pretty sure any person that had that happen to them would be dead rn

Pure confusion
Alexi meeting 18 and 18 dragging him to Jim and Joyce, who just so happen to be talking to Murray because he visited
18 was just skating with Max when they stumbled across a man who looked confused, “Sir are you alright?” Max asked him he looked over at her and blinked, “Wait a damn minute.” 18 put a hand on Max’s collarbone pushing her back a bit, “Your the man who Mr. Hopper and Ms. Joyce call Alexi Smirnoff.” She mumbled and he nodded, saying something in Russian. Eighteen just stared at Max and then the two of them dragged Alexi to Joyce’s house. When they arrived they just stormed in, saying a quick hello to the Party and then making it into the living room, “Look who we found living.. somehow!” Max exclaimed making the trio look over, Murray’s mouth hung open as tears fled his eyes. Hopper was shocked to see him, and Joyce was ecstatic. The duo who found him rolled away a bit so the three could tackle him. Which is what they did. It was a nice day, then catching up and Max and 18 hung out with the party.

Where... Where are we? Are those mannequins? Who is Santinita Galleon? Alexis Smirnoff? Lazari Redfield? What is this place
My hall of failures. Not because they failed, but because I failed THEM. Each one of those people, I have created. Each was flawed in their own way but I loved them but they never knew that they were created. Most are from a darker, earlier time in my life, hence why most are in the same "universe". Some are happy, most have gone crazy from what happened to them in their lives. I never finished their stories. I keep them here to remind myself that I can always do better but... Mouse might be my favorite. I don't want her here. I don't want to fail my creation. I want to make a new hall, if things I am proud of, and put her in there when her time comes so I may be proud of myself for once, instead of being proud of other... Beings. That's why her story is changing. Do not fret, you three will be in her story, and she will cherish you and you her till the end of your days but... It will be hard on her. There are outside forces coming into play that have a vendetta against me and will send their chosen to her, to cripple her mentally, to exhaust her mentally, and I will be unable to stop it. Mortal lives are like... Hm... Its like being able to interact during important moments in a quick time event but less involved. She will be changed, as will the world and universe she resides in, but she will be better for it. I know she will. She's my chosen after all

Why Alexei is still alive: A Thread
Alright so we saw that Alexei was shot by the Russian terminator, but I think there are details which support my theory that Alexei can very well be alive.
First detail is that we never see his body being disposed of. Of course, we all watched Joyce and Murray find Alexei very much dead-looking and almost out of the world at the fair. But the thing that bothers me is that why did they just leave him there and moved on. Yeah he was apparently dead to them and they had to infiltrate the Russian base but we never saw anyone go back to look for his body. All I’m tryna say is that, like in most TV shows/movies, nobody’s dead until you see their corpse. In this case, Alexei ain’t dead because we never saw his corpse being cremated or lowered down.
Second evidence is just the whole thing about the Russians messing with the portal to the Upside Down. These dudes really wanna get to the alternate dimension and to do that, they need top scientists to work on it. Scientists are really important to them, especially someone like Alexei who has been in his experiment since its failure in Russia to its thriving in Hawkins. This dude has seen its progress, and went from a minor assistant scientist to one of the main scientists overlooking this experiment. He is too valuable to the Russians to be let go that easily. We can easily see this when he draws up the underground facility on paper and explains how to shut the portal down again.
This third one adds more color to the claim made above, and it is the post-credit scene with the Demogorgon in Russia. They found a way to get to the Upside Down in Russia and what better man can the Russians get to work on it other than the one who saw the near success of opening it in Hawkins. The Russians need scientists to get their work done so they have to let Alexei live, at least as long as the Russians need his help. While picking out a prisoner to feed to the Demogorgon, one of the guards says “Not the American”. I think they maybe referring to Alexei. Calling him American is mocking him for helping Hopper, Joyce, and Murray take down their ongoing experiment in Hawkins, and also for planning to abandon his fellow Soviets and live life in America. He is no longer respected as a scientist helping the Soviet Union, and of course he is in prison for being a traitor to his country.
To sum this up, the Russian terminator might not have shot Alexei to death but instead put him out for awhile, or injected some drug that passed him off as dead so that Murray and Hopper would stop looking for him. It might have been a setup to trick Americans into thinking that their sole Russian hostage was dead. Then, Alexei was taken back to Russia and thrown into prison for sharing plans with Americans. But he is still a man of science so his talents are useful to the Russians yet his fondness for American culture and food is what gets him mocked as an American. So, my theory is that Alexei is alive, in Russia, as a prisoner being forced to open portals to Upside Down and serve the Soviet Union. And apparently, the Russians are domesticating Demogorgons as death sentences given to prisoners.
