if i am evil. i create character A, who indulges often. always eating, always fucking. but time and time again reveal that he is not hungry. he is not lustful. he performs hunger and doesnt truly feel it. he performs sexuality and doesnt truly feel it. and for fifteen years he performs indulgence into desire he doesnt feel. i create character B, who does not indulge. never eating, never fucking. but time and time again reveal that he IS hungry. he is lustful. he denies hunger but feels it deeply. he denies sexuality but feels it deeply. and for fifteen years he refuses to indulge in the desire he feels. and then. in the final season. allow character A to finally desire something. allow character B to confess his desire. and then kill them both before either is able to really indulge in something they truly desire. if i am evil. i do this.

Cinderella feels ripe for a Trans retelling.

Abused and neglected, but in a transphobic way this time. So the family might be willing to buy new clothes for her etc, but only mens clothes. So she's forced to wear her stepsisters old clothes if she wants to dress the right way for her. Cinderella could be her chosen name, with something else as her dead name that her family still use.

The transformation would play as normal, but it'd be extra special because it'd be the first time or first time in a long time she'd be supported to be who she is, and that her appearance reflects who she really is. Not saying Magic HTR or anything would happen, but certainly all the hair, makeup, and clothes etc.

The prince, will of course still fall for her, and search for his mystery woman. The glass slipper tests would play out much the same, but with the delightful irony that the cis sister can't wear their trans sisters shoe after forcing her to wear all their old clothes for so long.

But yea, a trans Cinderella getting her happy fairy tail ending would just be interesting and nice I think.

I wonder if SW aliens with what seem like… normal inherent skin markings… get the impression that some humans’ make-up is just their skin. Like, say, a togruta that hasn’t left Shili seeing intergalactic news in the holonet and seeing “something something Naboo” and there’s a picture of Padme with all her white and red face paint, and the togruta maybe goes, “oh this lady has some nice marking’s symmetry going on.” And then them seeing another picture differently dated claiming to also depict Padme Amidala and the togruta going, “Who edited this, that’s obviously someone else, I know Padme Amidala has a red line down her lips!” Then going, “wait, I don’t actually know which is which” and them looking up Padme Amidala pictures and then seeing a bunch of paint patterns and going, “oh the news media has been very ineffective identifying this ruler!” On that note, would that mean that sw species with natural face markings would experience something akin to face blindness when dealing with species who don’t have natural face markings?
