right so i started good omens last week and since then i’ve seen it at least four times and i have some THOUGHTS about season 1 episode 6
forgive me if they’ve been said in better ways before (spoilers obviously)
so
the ineffable body swap is, i believe, the moment that is most revealing of aziraphale and crowley’s relationship dynamic, and, more importantly, their true thoughts about one another.
zira-as-crowley is self assured, suave, and cheeky as anything. he never falters and takes every opportunity to be a smug bastard without actually being mean-spirited. (he also looks fairly pleased with himself, as I imagine it’s the most directly aziraphale has been able to rebel in front of people that aren’t crowley - living vicariously through the freedom he perceives crowley to have… but i’ll get to that later). It’s obvious how many of the little details about Crowley he has memorised: the slight pout, his pensive eyebrows, the way his eyes go full yellow when he’s stressed or excited… he even attempts the walk for a bit, though I think Crowley may have been practicing that for millennia. This in itself shows how much love he has for crowley, the hours he’s dedicated to being with, seeing, absorbing this person he’s found kinship with. The thing that’s most devastating about this, though, is that he is clearly imitating what crowley is like around HIM. when they’re THEM. Crowley interacting with the other demons is snarky and a little smug, yes, but there’s a tension that hangs on him whenever he’s near hell or his coworkers that clearly is never present when he’s with Aziraphale. Zira gets to see him at his most relaxed, his most assured, because Aziraphale makes Crowley relax, and this is the version of Crowley he’s actually spent time with. Of course, there’s also a hazy layer of heart eyes in making Crowley a little cooler, a little softer around the edges, because that’s how Aziraphale sees him.
And, of course, as I said earlier, he sees Crowley as free. Damned, sure, but to Zira, Crowley gets to do what he likes when he likes, without the constant fear of heaven’s wrath on his back. This is a flattening of Crowley’s actual experiences and trauma with heaven AND hell - fallen doesn’t mean you don’t mind that you fell, of course, and we as the audience know this - but we have to remember that Aziraphale is currently in the grips of religious conditioning stronger than any, and he still has the threat of potentially falling. I don’t believe he registered that threat further than his subconscious until Agnes’s prophecy, but regardless, he is a little afraid, always. He sees crowley as fearless, and doesn’t understand the constant stress his dearest demon is under. So, for him, he’s using Crowley’s freedom as a shield for himself - calling michael dude, making them miracle him a towel, splashing holy water at the demons - all things he wouldn’t do as Aziraphale because he is terrified of not fulfilling his duties as “the good guys”. As crowley, the weight of his obligations seem no object.
Now, Crowley-As-Aziraphale…
David Tennant’s performance throughout the entire season and PARTICULARLY in the above described scene has been phenomenal, but this is where I truly realised the talent oozing from Michael Sheen, because this performance’s nuances gave me chills. Crowley-as-aziraphale has a face set like granite. Zira’s usual softness has left his cheeks almost entirely, and while Crowley does have his mannerisms down, as we see just before he steps into the fire, his own protectiveness over his angel makes it near impossible for him to mask his disdain and keep up the constant nervous beaming that Aziraphale tends to adopt around the angels. A tension has entered his brow, and while he flashes those cherubic smiles intermittently, it’s clear that the way Zira is treated in heaven utterly incenses crowley. He is also likely reliving the trauma of his own trial-without-a-trial, and so it’s Very likely that the only thing keeping him from expressing his true feelings is the thought of protecting Aziraphale from the fate that Gabriel was all too eager to send him to. We see how angry he is about this interaction in season 2, but it is also communicated in the micro expressions that Michael Sheen knocked out of the fucking park. Every time one of them says something unkind, his face takes on a new shade of quiet rage hidden beneath his attempts to maintain the optimistic serenity and unrelenting kindness of the person he knows and loves the most. The angels morally outrage Crowley, and if he’d had a word with them as Crowley he’d likely have tried something stupid. But the soft veneer of his friend, his love, keeps him grounded enough to limit his chastisements to things Aziraphale had already shared with him, in private.
The scene just underscores how well they know each other, how much they love each other, and how much they’re willing to risk for one another. It also reveals personal wounds; ways their experiences and traumas and fears fragment the image of the one in front of them. This is where we lead in to season 2, the season of the WORLD’S WORST COMMUNICATORS. But for season 1, they have each other, and they laugh, and the comfort that can only come with the trust they have for each other settles over them from the minute they’re reunited.
two angels dining at the ritz.

I can understand Vision thinking that Wanda set up the obstacles for he and Darcy just like he thought she made Pietro appear, but HOW did any viewer get the impression that Wanda was the villain? Any time Wanda began to question reality “Agnes” would distract her. Same goes for when Wanda and Vis would try to discuss what was going on. Wanda’s told two people so far that she doesn’t know how she did it. She felt alone and then woke up in Westview’s simple black and white reality.
From her introduction it was made clear that Wanda’s repressing her issues and running on anger and a sense of purpose made her vulnerable to being puppeteered by an offer of peace. All of the good Maximoff cut scenes and a few other ones from AoU made it clear that Sokovia didn’t want the Avengers’ help and viewed them as fascist invaders and that the twins were using their powers to help. Everyone who goes back to the “Wanda tried to destroy the Avengers and was responsible for the Sokovia crater” seems to forget that she was manipulated by a robot made from two geniuses with a boost from one sixth of the greatest power in the universe (thus far). And that the second she was able to read his mind she defected to the Avengers because she realized she hadn’t been seeing the bigger picture and that even if they didn’t trust her she had to try to warn them. And she later killed the only person she had left in her life to save everyone only in her exhaustion to see Vis’ bravery be for nothing and have to watch him be murdered in cold virbranium. Next we see of her (after a guy four times her size slapped her through the air since she tried to body block Vis after draining herself emotionally and likely in terms of power by destroying one infinity stone and holding off the others) she’s cradling his body. Then she gets the chance to wreck Thanos and see a big funeral for Tony, nothing for Vis, and presumably from the S.W.O.R.D. footage next time she sees Vis his will is being violated. A will she was likely aware of since they’d spend time in his mind together and he could feel her touch specifically in there (“I only feel you”… also that came out dirtier than planned). It’s also worth noting that none of the agents she walked past moved, suggesting she used her mental powers to kee them out of her/harm’s way and it’s wasn’t until she saw the dismembered body that we see people moving away from her because she likely wanted them afraid of her. Fear seems to be her main means of defence against Monica and Hayward since Wanda probably doesn’t want to fight anymore.
I’ve even seen a few “oh she’s working with Agatha” posts despite Agatha making it explicitly clear that Wanda didn’t know about Agatha’s being the “other magical girl in town”. I try to avoid using feminist jargon when talking about nerdy things because some fanboys ATTACK for pointing out the misogyny as readily as some feminists do when a person tries to explain the positives in comics which don’t meet their intersectionality checklist. That being said, the fandom’s misogyny at Wanda has been insane ever since he power over the mind stone began to suggest that she out powered Thor or Hulk despite lacking muscles to hit things hard with and gaining her greatest power up in rage moment. Wait. How does Banner transform into his invincible mode again? And what’s the secret to upping his physical punching power level again? Wanda’s powers are literally her willing things to happen, so bloodlust yielding incredible destructive power makes perfect sense. Monica called out Wanda (and hinted to the audience) that Wanda must know she’s an ally which is why she shielded her in her way out of the Hex and why she stopped pulling the rover in the instant Monica was out of it. The “you’re still here” line followed by the display of power without any use of it makes it clear (to me at least) that Wanda, like she said to Dottie “[doesn’t] mean anyone any harm”. If she could dust Ultron bots she could have just done that to the army at her doorstep (not at all a reminder of the begins of her years of trauma).
Wanda is an Avenger. She’s not a villain.

Who were the original actors for Sleep No More? The only original one I know is Careena being the original Hecate.
That’s an interesting question that I’ll try to answer, but also tap @drinkthehalo on the shoulder with this, as she is more versed in the history than I am.
Part of the complexity of this question is that the NYC version of Sleep No More is the third of four versions of the show (as of 2017.)  The first was in London, the second in Boston, then came NYC, and finally Shanghai.  All of these productions have built on the same ideas, but have also been slightly different from each other. (The idea of the “best” version is somewhat hotly debated.)
Original London Production (h/t to @drinkthehalo):
Macbeth: Geir Hytten Lady Macbeth: Sarah Dowling Macduff: Rob McNeill Malcolm: Hector Harkness Banquo: Mark Fadoula Sexy Witch: Elizabeth Barker Bald Witch: Dagmara Billon Boy Witch: Andreas Constantinou Duncan: Gerard Bell
 the Boston production:
Macbeth - Geir Hytten and Eric Jackson Bradley Lady Macbeth - Sarah Dowling and Tori Sparks Macduff - Robert McNeill and Luke MurphyLady Macduff - Ali RossMalcolm - Hector Harkness and Robert NajarianBanquo - Vinicius Salles and Jeffrey Lyon Duncan - Phil AtkinsPorter - Thomas Kee Boy Witch - Conor Doyle and Jordan Morley Sexy Witch - Stephanie Eaton Bald Witch - Fernanda Prata and Kelly BartnikHecate - Careena MeliaThe Second Mrs. de Winter - Poornima KirbyMrs. Danvers - Tori Sparks and Hope DavisBellhop/Taxidermist - Alexander LaFranceSpeakeasy Bartender - Sogdiana AzhibenAnnie Darcy - Annie GoodchildElsie Price - Hayley Jane SogginMan in Bar - Robert Najarian and Matt Spano
And the original NYC cast was:
Macbeth - Nick Bruder and Eric Jackson Bradley Lady Macbeth -  Tori Sparks and Sophie BortolussiMacduff - Luke Murphy and John Sorensen-JolinkLady Macduff - Ali Ross and Lucy YorkMalcolm - Robert NajarianBanquo - Jeffrey Lyon and Gabriel ForestieriDuncan - Phil AtkinsPorter - Matty Oaks and Nick Bruder Boy Witch - Jordan Morley, Paul Singh, and Conor DoyleSexy Witch - Stephanie Eaton and Ching-I ChangBald Witch - Hope Davis Kelly BartnikHecate - Careena MeliaAgnes - Tori Sparks and Sophie Bortolussi Mrs. Danvers - Kelly Bartnik and Hope DavisBellhop/Taxidermist - Luke Murphy and John Sorensen-JolinkSpeakeasy Bartender - Paul Singh and Jordan MorleyCunning Man - Jeffrey Lyon and Gabriel ForestieriNurse - Stephanie Eaton and Ching-I ChangOrderly (different character from Nurse)* - Matty Oaks and Conor DoyleMatron (added after opening) - Lucy York and Ali RossWoman in Bar - Maya Lubinsky (Elizabeth Romanski soon after the opening)Man in Bar - Nick Atkinson
* (from @kevshindig)  The orderly character was originally only Matt Oaks - that character was only in shows in which Eric Jackson-Bradley played Macbeth and Nick Bruder played the Porter. If Nick played Macbeth, Matt would play Porter and there would be no Orderly. For the original cast of the Shanghai production, check out @dunwannawakeup and her post continuing this one.  Shanghai CastIt’s definitely possible that I’m mistaken on some of this.  There just aren’t very many records from the early days, and I didn’t buy the first version of the NYC program nor was I able to see the Boston production. If anyone chimes in with corrections, I’ll edit the post.

The Toa Payoh ritual murders took place in Singapore in 1981. At this time, 75% of the residents in Singapore were living in public housing. Government-built high-rise blocks of flats clustered in the population centres, of which Toa Payoh was typical. Although a high density of people lived in each block, the residents mostly kept to themselves, valuing their privacy and tending to ignore what was happening around their homes. In a spiritual and religious context, most of the population believed in spirits that inhabit the jungles, and in gods and devils that hover around, capable of benevolence and mischief. Certain people claimed that they could communicate with these supernatural beings. Through rituals in which they danced and chanted, these spirit mediums—tang-kees and bomohs—invited the beings to possess their bodies and dole out wisdoms, blessings, and curses to their believers. For several years, a medium in Block 12, Toa Payoh Lorong 7, had been performing noisy rituals in the middle of the night. The residents complained several times to the authorities, but the rituals would always resume after a short time. On the afternoon of January 24, 1981, nine-year-old Agnes Ng Siew Heok disappeared after attending religious classes at her church in Toa Payoh. Hours later, her naked body was found stuffed in a bag outside a lift in Block 11, less than five-eighths of a mile from the church. The girl had been smothered to death, and the investigation revealed injuries to her genitals and semen in her rectum. Although the police launched an intensive investigation, questioning more than 250 people around the crime scene, they failed to obtain any leads. On February 7, ten-year-old Ghazali bin Marzuki was found dead under a tree between Blocks 10 and 11, naked. He had been missing since the previous day, after being seen boarding a taxi with an unknown woman. Forensic pathologists on the scene deemed the cause of death as drowning, and found suffocation marks on the boy similar to those on Ng. There were no signs of sexual assault, but burns were on the boy's back and a puncture on his arm. Traces of a sedative were later detected in his blood. #destroytheday https://www.instagram.com/p/BsLcwBLhenE/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=18bdpcyq66kcy
