I wanted to share with you a quick montage to express my gratitude for your support.
In the video, you'll find some clips of my DJ sets on Twitch in 2023, along with a couple of older live performances from the song 'Your World is Over.'
Some of you provide extraordinary support, a real driving force that pushes me forward. Thank you endlessly.
2024 will be the year when I'll release new EPs and singles for BLUE ANT (there might even be an album!).
Keep following me, hoping to live up to your expectations.
Soon it will be midnight in Italy, so I wish you a wonderful 2024.
Song: This is my end ( fix me, break me remix)
this is the last song on my free EP Narci Prey and the outro basically. If you can guess the movie sample I'll give you a cookie. its from my fave horror movie franchise : B
Can't sleep anymore while I wait for my appointment so enjoy this wip.
EDIt : tried to post this a bit ago but tumblr seems to really hate video format.
I think this is done for now, unless I decide to make more accessories for it. I'd call this more industrial than cyber, but I'm happy with that, that's more my vibe anyway. The yellow and black reminds me of the Caterpillar logo, factories, power tools and such. I didn't think the front really needed much so I concentrated on the back.
I've tightened it a little to make the shape more flattering. The patches on the shoulders are song titles (see my original post for how I made them), the two on the back are band logos (Combichrist and, unsurprisingly, V2A).
I like to sew on my home-made patches with invisible stitching. There are tutorials for this online, but essentially it involves ironing down all the hems and then inserting your needle into and along the fold, so the sewing can't be seen when you pull it tight. This has to be done by hand of course!
I remembered I also had this iron on bee patch that I bought ages ago, and although a bee doesn't have much to do with cyber/industrial aesthetics the colours are 100% perfect, and I think it's quite visually pleasing to draw the eye down into a point at the bottom. Though it's iron-on I did also add some safety stitches.
I didn't want to absolutely cover the dress in embellishments, just a little to put my own stamp on it, and I think I've accomplished that!
I did a previous post on this matching collar, but here it is again. I felt like having a single ring at the front was a little BDSM which isn't me (no shade to those who enjoy that, but not my thing) so I doubled it up with a smaller one inside which I think helps make it look more decorative.
And re the cost - the dress was £1 from a charity shop, the matching yellow fabric to make patches, also £1. Yes, technically it did cost more than that because I used more things to make it, but it was all stuff I had in my craft boxes already, so I didn't need to spend any more than £2 😁
