Small rant

could people please PLEASE tag for unsympathetic deceit/janus? I get it, you see him as naturally unsympathetic or whatever and unsympathetic is a long word and you don’t want to type it out. But I am TIRED of scrolling through sanders side fics when every 1/10 is a fic where deceit is some villain that’s emotionally and physically abused Virgil. I am TIRED of reading through tags so carefully because odds are if there’s manipulation and deceit sanders in the tags the two are tied. Please, please tag your fics when you have an unsympathetic character, I love Janus and it hurts me to see him being talked bad about so that’s why I filter the tag! So, from a very tired Janus fan, please tag your fics. I’m begging you

Perhaps it's presumptuous of me to assume you might remember me after all these years, but to this day, the memory of the boy whom I could run to in the middle of the night, whom I could count on to chase away the monsters that manifested from my nightmares, still resides in my heart.

Of course, I fear you might not recognize the Alina you knew all those years ago, for most days she seems very far away -- almost like she never existed in the first place.

To answer the question you're no doubt wondering, I received your contact information from a member of your organization who is currently fighting as a Pat.riot soldier in the Continent.al Army. In truth, he gave it to a friend of mine who is a member of General Wash.ington's inner circle, and he happened to mention it to me.

When I heard your name, I was stunned and in a state of momentary disbelief. Surely you couldn't possibly be the same Kaz Br.ekker I knew all that time ago. Then again, just how many Br.ekkers are running around this country?

There's much I want to tell you about concerning me, my life, and everything in between, as I'll admit I've missed you dearly and am relieved to have found out you've done very well for yourself since we last saw one another, but I have a more pressing reason to write to you...

Wash.ington is struggling to convince the French to ally with us in this war, for their help would surely turn the tides in our favor. However, they are hesitant because they wish to see that we are a force to be reckoned with as we are -- which I fear we will fail to do.

The British have the Rebels painted into a corner they've not yet been able to scramble out of and they are in desperate need of a catalyst -- an ace in the hole that could shift things in our favor. What they need is intelligence of any and all sorts to gain the upper hand.

Seeing as your organization is smack dab in the middle of the British Ro.yal Army's home base, I believe that you could be the answer to our prayers. Though I have no right to, I humbly ask you to use your connections and resources to help the Cause. Help us gain favor with the French. Help us win this war. If not for this country then for me.

For old times sake, I implore you to consider this carefully.

I hope to hear from you, even if you should decline this request. I will not hold that against you.

More sketches of one of my Knight OCs, "Perjurus," who has essentially had his machine spirit "freed" by Chaos and is now a fully autonomous/sapient construct, now seeking out others of his kind ("abominable intelligence"/AI/machinefolk of various origins existing in secret - for example like the Orac Myraid from the recent Arks of Omen lore) While his pilot had his pacts with Chaos, he was unaware the machine had made such pacts of its own... (someday I'll write out his lore/story more properly, for now just have some artsss. First one is traditional, other two are digital)
