My Jedi Oc, Yona!!!
She’s a force sensitive togruta, but due to a genetic defect her montrals never developed. Because of that she is almost completely deaf. I was going to have her use „standard galactic sign language”, assuming that exists but Antoinette actually suggested she could communicate with others through the force (as in, you could hear her voice in your head) and I think both are cool, so she uses both!

TBB SEASON 3 SPOILERS AHEAD
Yay theory time
So in episode 3 we see Omega and Crosshair leave Tantiss and despite how relieved I was it got me thinking. Because if you know any star wars lore you also know how a hyperdrive works: you need to first input your destination
And if you think about it: where would Omega (who set the destination) think would be a safe place for them to hide
I don’t know about you, but I immedeatly thought of Pabu
And who else is going to Pabu? THATS RIGHT Hunter and his 3 beautiful sons
I don’t know how likely this is but omg how great it would be if they actually met there?? But this also raises a very scary option… that scene in the trailer with the Empire on Pabu… yeah

Another OC!! Yona’s padawan, Samil :3
Another force sensitive togruta (can you tell what my fav species is)
He is also completely blind from birth, and has nystagmus
Despite being diagnosed very early, he appeared to be able to „feel” things around him, and when he started to talk he could even describe them, despite not being able to see them.
Bonus points: his name is inspired by a Real person, a voice actor named Nabil. If anyone can figure out who it is I’ll be Real impressed :))

Since I posted Yona I might as well mention a headcanon I have regarding the canon characters
Ahsoka has a much more mild variant of the same mutation that Yona has. Her montrals aren’t quite as large as they’re supposed to be. I also headcanon her mother Pav’ti has it. It makes them both have slightly worse hearing than the other Togruta (though ahsoka probably makes up for it with her force sensitivity)
