Sorry this came very late darlings! A part of the reason is that i've been going through a lot in life and i haven't had much time to catch up but don't worry as i'll still be here for anything! (´⌣`ʃƪ)
Another reason was because of how indecisive i was for teamwork headcanons between the two. There was supposed to be more explaining how the two work together to watch over their dear but I decided to add it later in the future. I know it'll take another decade to write it out and I really don't wanna hold up this request more than I already have. ( ⚆ _ ⚆ )
Note: This takes place before the Security Breach incident making Moon way less aggressive and sadistic to that Moon.

SUN
♡ *GASP* A NEW CO-WORKER!?! What wonderful news that is! He barely has any older friends (mostly cause adults find him creepy), so he finds the thought of having you around thrilling! When you show up, his visits start as occasional checkups, but soon they become more regular. You are such a caring and kind person to him and the children. He loves getting attention from you so much that every time you look at him, he feels like he's going to burst!
♡ His obsession grows so strong it goes against his intended programming to frequently focus on you. He knows he’s supposed to report problems like this, but he’s sure it can’t be so bad if he feels this happy around you! This has gotten him in trouble with staff and Moon multiple times, but he doesn't understand why. He’s doing his job of making someone happy and that’s his bestest friend in the world!
♡ Sun wants to do EVERYTHING with you. Despite protests, he doesn't want you to feel left out and all gloomy in the corner, so he’s bringing you along on all the things he considers fun! It’s scary when he suddenly scoops you up in his arms and skips at lightning speed across the daycare to where all the activities are. You’ll often find yourself surrounded by children playing games or making crafts.
♡ Your happiness together is all he wants. When you laugh at the sock puppet he made of you, he feels all warm and fuzzy inside. He wants to make you laugh like that all the time! Anything you guys make is immediately stored and displayed proudly in his room. Now that he thinks about it, he should probably organize it better for the on-growing collection of your belongings and things that remind him of you.
“Wasn’t that so fun, Sunshine!?”
“Yeah it was but I really gotta get back to work”
“Oh - oh wait! I got another game we can play together!!”
♡ Touchy-feely does not begin to describe how Sun behaves around you. Hand holding, cuddling, hugs, you name it, he wants to do it all. When Sun sees you, he just wants to squish you, and love you, and hold you in his arms forever and ever!! Even when you're busy, he can’t help the urge to pull you into a surprise hug. He would love to try kissing you someday but he gets bashful just thinking about it.
♡ Every time you come back to your desk he’s already got a gift waiting for you there. All four flavors of Fizzy-Fazz (He didn’t know which you wanted, so he got all of them) with a couple of chips and bars. A lot of the drawings with you and him together with hearts all over or the occasional origami around your work desk with sweet messages like “You’re my sunshine!” and “You look very pretty today!”. As cute as it is, it's gotten excessive to the point where you have to clean your desk on a basis.
♡ Like a kid, he’s relentless when getting you to pay attention to him. Unfortunately, this turns him into a huge distraction because, instead of getting your work done, Sunny boy is dancing around insisting you join him for more playtime. This transitions into interactions with co-workers. When someone comes to check on you, he’s already got your attention on something else while he shoos them off the daycare grounds.
♡ Nothing is worse than an unhappy darling. If Sun senses something is wrong, he will panic. Because he's built to recognize distress when he senses it, he's very understanding. So, when he feels you’re hiding something from him, he can’t help stressing over it. Now every minor gesture can be interpreted as a huge sign. You're not in the mood for hugs one morning and he looks at you as if you dropped-kicked a baby. God forbid he finds out he’s the reason you’re unhappy 💀
♡ He’ll try so hard to make it up to you but it only worsens as he realizes it’s becoming futile. He will cling to you more if he thinks you're mad at him. While trying to reassure you of his love, he sounds like he's just reassuring himself. He'll invent any excuse to keep you longer as well. He hates making a mess, but if it means you’ll stay longer, it doesn’t matter! He takes whatever desperate measures are needed, except for violence. The shame and guilt would outweigh whatever reason he had to lash out.
“Sunshine, please don’t go! No! No! NO! I CAN’T let you go!”
MOON
♡ Was it really necessary to have you around…? As grateful as he is to have a helper, he’s been doing fine alone. He’s mostly reclusive, only approaching when needed. It takes Sun’s endless gushing about you and a few approaches for him to warm up to you. When he realizes you are someone he can trust, he’ll make an effort to talk to you more while the children sleep. His biggest comforter becomes you, someone he can watch and protect. Your genuine care turns his curiosity into fascination.
♡ Moon could care less if he’s not supposed to cater to you. He already attends to a group of children so it shouldn't be a problem if he wants you as well. He keeps it discreet around you and other staff though. It’ll only cause trouble if he’s caught acting out. Lucky for him, he can be patient. If it means having you all to himself he has no problem going the extra mile into making you his compliant little star~
♡ Despite being a staff, Moon has a habit of urging you to sleep. Some days he’s more persistent than others. He can be pretty stubborn and, because of that, you often agree with him, so he can stop staring at you from across the room. If you’re really adamant about disobeying him, he has other ways of convincing you too~ Like placing Moondrops in your drink and waiting for them to melt before giving it to you.
♡  He always tells you this is for the best. He only wants what's best for you because your safety and health are his priority. Before you know it, he’ll have you tucked in the softest pillows and blankets. He’ll stroke your hair, whispering sweet nothings as you’re lulled to sleep. There's nothing more addicting than holding your still, peaceful form in his arms. Caressing your soft face while hearing your gentle breathing, he wishes it could last forever. Anyone trying to wake you up is signed up on his hit list.
“Now now rest, Starlight~”
“Moon I can’t I really have to finish-”
“Shhhh… work has no place at bedtime~”
♡ It’s always a battle for him to choose whether he wants to hold you. His intrusive thoughts keep telling him to pick up and cradle you so he can see your cute reactions. On the other hand, he couldn’t risk anyone else seeing him being so clingy. He becomes the stiffest and most awkward bot for physical affection because he can't choose what to do! He is much more daring and demanding when you two are alone. You’ll spend hours locked down in his arms while he’s snuggling against the crook of your neck. Behave and he’ll leave a couple of pecks here and there too.
♡ Moon is deliberate when it comes to his gifts. You won’t receive them from him often, but when you do it's something he knows you needed or wanted. Like the time he saw you shivering, he handed you a daycare-themed sweater or hand-painted mug for all the pens and pencils you've collected. No matter how the gift is, it must be neatly presented to you. Even the energy bars he gets for you are wrapped in a cute blue bow. He prefers to hand you his gifts in person so that way he can see what you like and what he can improve on (also because he really loves the attention he gets from it).
♡ Moon is a sly one. As he prefers a more tranquil darling, he attempts to win you over though it would be easier to kidnap you. His way of doing so is making you more dependent on him. He takes his time studying you before making any moves. When he’s not stalking you he’s manipulating everything around you to his favor. If you’re a kind person he’ll draw you in by making himself look all alone because of those awful rumors of him being scary. If you’re more wary of him he’ll take his time gaining your trust, obeying your every word, and making you feel you’re the only one that can tame him until he can finally claim you as his own.
♡ Moon can be clingy but he never goes as far as to become suffocating. He’ll allow you to have space until he senses someone is trying to interfere. His possessiveness only drives him to stalk your co-workers as well. Everyone is considered an obstacle some more than others and is to be dealt with accordingly. Moon isn’t one for violence but he’s familiar with fear tactics that will surely leave your so-called friends to regret their decision.
♡ If he senses that he is at fault he’ll change himself to be softer but the same can't be said if he believes your co-workers had a hand in your change. He’s working behind the scenes causing “accidents” to happen. Your co-workers will drop like flies and you haven't a single clue why. He hasn't shown you this side because he knows you’ll only make it harder for the both of you. But let’s say you had suspicions. Moon would either downplay the whole thing or put you in "time out". Depends if he believes there's some way he can salvage the last bit of trust in him.
“Naughty Starlight, you are not allowed to leave timeout until I said otherwise~”

Entering the mysterious room, you noticed a strange bot. It's body covered in old dust, burn marks, and scratches. Despite it's broken state, it's sitting perfectly fine. Yet you can't seem to shake off the feeling of being watched, perhaps it's because of it's big dull eyes staring at you.
You would be lying if you said you don't want to go back outside and pretend that this room didn't existed. But with your kind-hearted soul, would you really abandon the poor fella?

The Lovebug Virus - Chapter One: Intrigue
Yandere! Sun and Moon x Reader
Masterlist || Read it on AO3 || Chapter Two (coming soon!)
*****
No one usually took the time to look at Y/N. She was an empty, shell of a person with little interest in what others her age would find entertaining.
She didn't go out to eat and drink with friends. The thought of going out to make conversation with strangers was a foreign concept to her. The mere implication of loud music and drawling small talk sent shivers down her spine.
No, what Y/N spent most of her free time doing, usually involved quiet spaces with relaxing music - hidden away under a blanket with a book or her laptop and no expectation of the exchange of dialogue. She would partake in gardening to get her daily intake of sunlight, and then you would find her right back inside - cozied up with a stuffie and relaxing.
Most others would say that she lived a lonely life. She didn't mind, really. She never had any reason to believe that the way she went about her days was depressing. The hours spent daydreaming and falling into different worlds brought her joy.
Her parents had always left her to her own devices growing up. They would buy her toys and games and encourage her to play outside with the neighbors - but Y/N was never interested. So they had promptly given up and resorted to allowing her some space of her own. Other parents would question their parenting methods, although these were mostly snarky older women that felt the need to insert their input where nobody asked for it. Y/N always heard those conversations. Her parents always defended her.
They weren't the best parental figures in the world, but they allowed her to learn and grow on her own. She never saw much of an issue with it. She enjoyed it, honestly. But as with anything, there was a catch.
Should a single grade slip from its perfect little pointed "A+," she would kiss her freedom goodbye. Her privacy, independence, and otherwise happiness were privileges - that was made clear from the beginning. So she learned quickly that anything less than perfect was unacceptable and wrong.
When the time came for her to think of college, she didn't really have much outside of her quaint little world that she wanted. But her parents insisted - so she looked into robotics and engineering.
This had surprised everyone that knew her (even though that wasn't necessarily a lot of people). Her parents were proud and they boasted about the decision to anyone and everyone that would listen. One of her parents' friends had asked if they were putting a lot of pressure on her for bragging about her career choice, but Y/N was close enough earshot that she had meandered through the kitchen and denied such a claim nonchalantly.
Going to college proved to be more of a positive thing than she ever would have imagined. Despite her quiet demeanor, she made a friend rather quickly. Said friend was the exact opposite of Y/N - loud and boisterous, indulging in "normal" college behavior like it was her lifeline.
Kat had grown to become Y/N's best friend - even with all odds stacked against their friendship. College had introduced them to each other, and they spent a lot of their free time together now. They considered each other best friends - after all, living two completely different lives meant they never ran out of things to talk about and show each other.
The only small, minute detail Y/N found herself grumbling about quietly was the fact that she needed a job. Her parents promised they would cover her tuition, allow her to live with them rent-free, and even buy her groceries for her - as long as she kept up the garden she so dearly loved. But that left no money for her to buy more books, or keep up with her various subscriptions online. Privileges her antisocial self felt she needed. The things she had spent her whole life using to keep herself happy. Activities that allowed her to shove away the feelings of loneliness that so desperately threatened to spill over into the content she felt for the life she lived.
It was the only reason she stood where she did now, staring up into the soft white, glowing eyes of a sunny-themed animatronic as her heart hammered in her chest. There was absolutely nothing she had experienced thus far to properly ready her for this change in her life. She wondered silently to herself why she would agree to take on such a challenge - but Kat's voice echoed through her head like the ghost of a disappointed mother.
"You need interaction, Meatball! There's so many things out there in the world and you keep yourself cooped up in your room all day!"
"Well, my room doesn't disappoint me, or try to roofie me when I walk away to use the bathroom," she had said in response, gathering her homework from her desk and neatly placing it in her three ring binder. Kat grabbed a pillow off of Y/N's neatly made bed and chucked it at her.
"That was one time! And I was fine! He was just jealous of the attention I was getting from his girlfriend," she joked. But her giggling was replaced with a sigh as she watched Y/N pick the pillow up and place it exactly where it had been before Kat threw it. "Come on, girl. You said it yourself - you need the money. You only have to keep the job for three months. That's how long the contract lasts. Then you can happily quit if need be."
Y/N's grip on her binder tightened at the thought of being bound by contract to a noisy, bustling daycare as a security guard. Small children always made her uneasy. They were unpredictable - running around and happy one moment, throwing themselves on the ground and crying the next. But as her eyes drifted down to the book lying on the edge of her desk, she sighed. All of the characters in all of her books needed to go through character development. Maybe now was her time?
"Alright, KitKat. Get me an application."
"So like I said, you don't have to interact with the kids much. That's Sun's job. You just have to make sure that meals get here on time, cleanup is done right, and that this hunk of junk works the way it's supposed to," Max said, jabbing his thumb up at the robot. Sun glared at him, or so Y/N assumed he did. His arms crossed and faceplate turned towards Kat's older brother, his rays shrinking back slightly. But his smile remained unchanging.
Why did FazCo think a non-expressive faceplate was a good idea?
"So, um... Do I need to walk around and watch him, or...?"
"Oh god no," Max responded, typing vigorously on the keyboard in front of him. "Do you see the size of this damn place? You'll only need to watch from the cameras here."
"Language, Mr. Diaz," Sun chirped from his spot, still standing on the opposite side of the security desk. Max laughed and rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, and he's a stickler for the rules," he mumbled. Y/N took a moment to look at the other monitors on the desk. They all displayed different cameras overlooking the daycare and its attachments. There were several pointed at the main play area. But there was also one in each of the party rooms, a few in the theatre, and some as far out as Kid's Cove.
Y/N took note of each camera and tried to figure out where on the walls and ceiling they were. She only stopped when she realized the yellow jester bot was still looking at her. Again, that's at least what she assumed. His eyes held no irises - only a faint white glow that appeared to shift every so often. She opened her mouth to speak, but the oddly-colored and bulky watch on Max's wrist chimed. He groaned as he looked at it.
"Dammit," he hissed, making Sun mutter another chastise in his direction. He ignored it, typed something else quickly on the computer, and then grabbed his security hat from where he left it next to one of the monitors. "Something came up, so I gotta go." He then snapped as if he remembered something important - reaching into one of his pockets and pulling out a dark purple lanyard. "This is your temporary security badge until we get you fully put into the system," he said, sounding distracted. Y/N reached out to grab it, but Max didn't let it go immediately. "Never go anywhere without this, you hear me?"
Y/N felt anxiety prick at the base of her spine. "Y-Yeah, I hear you," she said hesitantly. Max let go of the badge and rushed out of the daycare without another word.
"Oh, don't worry about him, new friend!" Sun exclaimed suddenly, startling Y/N. She ogled at the animatronic as she pulled the lanyard over her head. "Welcome to the daycare!" He stretched his arms up above his head dramatically, reminding Y/N of one of those water spouts that people put in personal ponds and lakes sometimes.
"Thanks," she mumbled, biting her tongue before she could embarrassingly mutter a 'you too' in his direction. She sat down in one of the office chairs and looked at the monitors again. Sun didn't walk away to continue on with his job - instead opting to lean down on the desk and place his eyes right above the edge of the screen Y/N was looking at.
"New friend," he singsonged, listing his head to the side once she peered at him. "Wanna come play a game with me and the little sunbites? Our old handler would play games with us."
"Old handler?" The question slipped from her mouth before she even had a chance to think about it. Sun's eyes widened (the first bit of facial expression she'd witnessed from the bot) and he stood back up to his full height.
"Y-Yeah, but that doesn't matter!" he stuttered, waving his hands in front of himself as if physically shooing the question away. "Anyways, we can play hide and seek, tag, or even cops and robbers!"
If the unease wasn't present in the form of expression of Y/N's face, the heat rising to her cheeks definitely was. "I don't know," she said hesitantly. Her eyes darted to the rowdy children screaming and running around the colorful play space. Sun's rays retracted behind his faceplate slightly.
"Oh," he said, deflated. Y/N felt pity flutter in her heart. Why, she couldn't tell. But something about the way his demeanor changed at her rejection of the games reminded her almost of... herself.
"Why would anyone want to play cards with you? That's a boring game."
"A book club? But kids your age should be running around a playground."
"No, coloring is an inside game. We're playing outside."
"Actually," Y/N said, standing from the chair and pulling a few of her belongings from her pockets to place on the desk. "Do you know the game telephone?" she asked, and somehow Sun's smile seemed to grow wider.
The solar animatronic gathered up the excited children - guiding all the ones that wanted to play into a big circle in one of the cushioned play areas. The ones that didn't he sat down at one of the plastic tables to color, rendering the large daycare quiet besides the never-ending looped theme that played from some hidden speaker overhead. Y/N watched him as he interacted with the young ones, finding herself surprised that he was so gentle with them.
Of course the daycare attendant would have to be gentle. But something about the way his voice changed when he spoke, or even the little hand gestures he used to keep their attention on him - it made her curious about his programming. Advanced AI was still something relatively new when it came to commercial use. It felt like only a few months ago that chatboxes utilizing AIs were first introduced to the general public. It had quickly gotten out of hand and forced several companies to close their doors due to being sued for copyright infringements and other various crimes.
But not long after that, corporations latched onto the idea of being able to replace humans with technology. It was beneficial to them - not having to worry about human error in places that cost them millions in losses for that exact reason. Several protests emerged, but they were incapable of rallying enough support to prohibit the advancement in research and programming. Some loophole about original work and free speech - Y/N didn't really remember.
It didn't take much time for robots to start to replace simple jobs. Unimportant roles like gas station cashiers and janitors were replaced with animatronic versions, and it had worked so well that the furthering of said technology couldn't be stopped.
Fazbear Entertainment latched onto the idea quickly, especially given that they had been working with AI for years under the table. One thing led to another and now? Well, she was looking at the result of such changes.
"With a show of hands, let me see who knows how to play the game telephone," Sun said, looking around at all of the bright little faces. Several hands shot into the air excitedly. A lot of the older kids had played, but many of the younger ones looked around at their peers quizzically. "So a fairly new game to most of you, I see," Sun continued.
He explained the game in the simplest terms possible, which only furthered Y/N's secret fascination for the bot. She spent the entirety of his explanation just taking in his appearance with more detail. He definitely looked the part in regards to a FazCo animatronic. That much was obvious. But the thought took too long to actually hold weight in her head.
It's not that Sun didn't have mechanical clicks and a voice box full of static - he was definitely an animatronic. But when compared to the others within the pizzaplex, there were definitely major differences. The others - the Glamrocks - were bulky and wore 80's themed garments that reflected the vibe of the entire mall.  They had expressive faces and a lot of preset voice lines. Sun just didn't look like he belonged in the lineup.
Although, that fact was at least obvious to the higher ups, as the advertisements for the obnoxiously inclusive, over-glorified mall never included the daycare attendant. Y/N remembered seeing one of the unskippable ads before a youtube video once. Nothing was mentioned about the daycare - not even in passing did they mention that the plex offered childcare. It made her curious now, but at the time she hadn't thought much about it.
She played along with the kids in the slow paced game - giggling slightly every time the child next to her whispered something she knew wasn't the phrase Sun had started with. The sunbot always played up whatever was whispered to him at the end of the line, covering his unchanging mouth and tilting his head to the side - even retracting his rays as he did earlier.
If FazCo had such an intelligent form of AI running their daycare, why hadn't they tried to utilize the same programming for the other animatronics?
After a while, most of the children grew bored of the game - asking Sun if they could leave to color or play in the structures again. He seemed hesitant to allow them to at first, but soon they stopped putting effort into the game, so he eventually dismissed them all. Y/N went back to her seat at the security desk just as the first few parents showed up to pick up their children. Y/N learned from Sun how the security bands worked, making her feel quite dumb for not realizing that each child wore a colored bracelet that held all of their information.
Soon, all that remained of the earlier bustling daycare play area was one rather quiet child. She hadn't left Sun's side from the moment she arrived after being dropped off from school. She had short, dark hair with blue at the ends stuffed under a baseball cap of the local team. Currently, she was following Sun around like a puppy with separation anxiety - her blue eyes desperately following each movement of the solar animatronic's hands as he cleaned. Y/N couldn't help but find her fascination with the simple tasks amusing because she related to her curiosity.
Then the notification popped up on the monitor in front of her that the girl - whose name was Rosalie - was now in queue to be picked up. Sun lifted his head from the table he had been wiping down and smiled at the little girl. "Rosie posie, looks like your mom is here!" he said brightly, picking the girl up and placing her on his shoulders. She squealed with delight as he lead her over to the cubbies that contained her backpack, shoes, and other various personal belongings. One of those belongings was a dark blue plush, but Y/N couldn't tell what it was from where she sat.
A yawn forced its way from her mouth as Sun finished with checking Rosalie out from the daycare. He talked with the girl's mother for a while - only deepening Y/N's fascination with him. He could speak with children fluently - making jokes and pulling off silly voices to keep them entertained. But he could also sound completely serious and relay information to adults without puns or snickering.
It was like he was just another human.
"Have a Fazerific day, Rosalie! See you tomorrow!" Sun called out of the door. He shut it, and immediately let out a satisfied simulated sigh before turning towards Y/N.
She dropped her head down and tried to busy herself with the keyboard in front of her. She didn't know why she was embarrassed to have been watching the animatronic - he probably didn't mind, given that children stared at him all the time. But the warmth crept up to her cheeks nonetheless.
"New friend, do you need help learning the proper way to sanitize the daycare?" he asked, approaching the desk again and resuming the same position he had earlier.
"Wait, what?" Y/N's confusion must have been extremely visible, because Sun faltered for a moment.
"Your end-of-day duties involve cleaning and sanitizing the daycare with me," he informed, tilting his faceplate to the side slightly. The exhaustion from interacting with people all day tickled the back of her mind, but she quickly shoved it aside as Kat's words about her needing interaction echoed in her mind.
"O-Okay," she stuttered, standing from the office chair and making her way around the desk to join the solar animatronic.
Despite being a fairly large space, the duties of cleaning the play area weren't as daunting as one might think. The ballpit had a special mechanism that allowed all of the colorful plastic orbs to fall through an invisible hatch that could only be opened with a swipe of Y/N's keycard. Apparently, there was a large area beneath the daycare that would sanitize the balls before sending them back through a hidden tube to refill. The plushies and pillows that filled a tent at the far side of the bright space would be sprayed with a disinfectant that hid underneath the security desk. Y/N supposed the hardest task was actually vacuuming the mats - but given that there were multiple vacuum units in the supply closet and two people to split the daycare floor, it went by rather quickly.
Neither Sun nor Y/N spoke much besides clarifying questions and little corrections in cleaning methods. It would be a comfortable silence had the endless loop of the silly daycare theme not been blaring overhead still. Y/N made a mental note about asking Max if it could be shut off once all the kids were gone.
But she realized after a while that although she was cleaning in silence, Sun had actually been mumbling to himself. Between variations of the cleanup song he sang earlier to the children and comments about how messy things were - it almost sounded as though he was talking to himself. It was odd to hear at first, but it only reminded Y/N of the way she would do the same thing when going about her usual chores at home.
By the time the two had finished cleaning, Y/N's feet hurt. But something buzzed through her body as she looked at the clean space, proud of the hard work. The ache in her muscles wasn't too far off from the same feeling she got after getting all of her garden beds ready at the start of a new season.
"You did amazing, new friend!" Sun praised, throwing his hands above his head. He followed closely behind Y/N as she made her way back to the security desk. "The routine went by so much faster with your help!"
"Oh, I'm sure it wasn't that much faster," Y/N responded, rounding the edge of the desk to collect her stuff. "So there's nothing else I've gotta do now?" Sun's rays shrank back a bit.
"Well, not exactly," he said slowly. Y/N looked up at him, a little surprised by the hesitance in his voice. One of her eyebrows quirked up to urge him to continue. His fingers smoothed over the ribbons on his wrists as he stared on - unblinking white eyes giving away no emotion to the thoughts running through his mind. "N-Nevermind," he said suddenly, placing his hands on the desk with a tap.
Y/N couldn't help her lingering stare before she turned her attention to the monitor so she could clock out. She was tired, but for once it was a good tired. Sun followed at her heels after she collected her belongings and walked to the entrance. It made her think of the way Rosalie was following him around earlier.
"Friend?" Sun said quietly as Y/N reached the large wooden doors. She turned to face him.
"Yeah?"
He once again fiddled with the ribbons on his wrist, but she still couldn't tell what he was thinking. It only intrigued her more. "Make sure to get a good rest in before you come back tomorrow!" he said in a chipper voice, dropping his hands and subsequently his anxious fidgeting. Y/N sighed, plastering a lazy grin on her face.
"You too, friend," she said, mirroring his nickname for her as she slipped through the doors - completely missing the way Sun's rays rotated around his head a few times as he processed her words.
Y/N's stomach growled as she entered the main entrance of the PizzaPlex. Excited voices drifted up to her ears as children and their parents lined up to get their own wristbands - the variation in color depicting where they were allowed to go. She descended a flight of stairs and contemplated getting something to eat here before she went home. The smell of pizza was extremely tempting.
She let it win - sliding past the people in line to swipe her badge and enter the main area of the plex in search of the greasy, triangle-shaped treat. When was the last time she indulged in unhealthy food just because she could?
It didn't take long for her to spot one of the areas advertising food. It was actually getting to it that was proving to be time-consuming. There were so many people rushing about as the last concert of the night was preparing to run. Y/N let her thoughts drift back through her day as she dodged and weaved through hyper children and eerie staff bots that she swore stared at her a little longer than usual.
Sun certainly was... something. She could get used to working with him easily - his demeanor was warm and inviting, and her fascination with his programming would surely keep her entertained. She wondered how long he had been in use, once again flitting over the question as to why his programming hadn't been utilized with any of the other animatronics.
Y/N let out a shocked squeak as her shoulder connected with someone else. A frantic apology escaped her lips as she looked up and locked eyes with Max.
"Oh, it's you. Sorry, was distracted," he said, glancing back in the direction he was heading in. He certainly looked distracted. And tired. Being closer to him than she had earlier, Y/N took note of the dark stubble growing on his chin and baggy circles beneath his eyes. He smelled faintly of cigarette smoke, but so did a lot of other people. And he at least did a good job of covering it up with a light cologne.
His eyes snapped back to Y/N suddenly and he gave a halfhearted smile. "How was the first day? The thing didn't give you too much trouble, did it?"
"Wha- Sun? No, not at all," she responded quickly. "He was actually somewhat delightful," she added, thinking of how soft he had been with the children.
Max's gaze lingered on her as the silence between them stretched awkwardly. Then he hummed, but he didn't say anything more. So Y/N spoke up again. "I hope whatever was so urgent earlier went over well?"
The way Max's eyebrows furrowed confusedly made her second guess her statement. But then recognition glinted in his eyes and he chuckled. "Oh, yeah! Was fine, fine..." He paused. "Just something stupid - easy fix."
Y/N felt her heart start to hammer in her chest as anxiety lulled through her body. She hated small talk.
"Well anyways, I've still got some stuff to take care of," he said, much to Y/N's relief. "I'll try to stop by tomorrow to make sure you know the last of your responsibilities with this job."
"Sure, okay," she responded, trying not to sound desperate to get away from him. He turned to leave, calling out over his shoulder as he walked away.
"And tell Kat I said hi."
*****
The pizza was exactly as Y/N thought it would be - greasy and bland.
She still happily snacked on it during her drive back home, steadily bobbing her head to the beat of her favorite song. She couldn't wait to lounge around in her sweatshirt and shorts again.
When she walked through the front door, though, she was immediately bombarded with questions about her first day. Kat had come over with sorbet from her favorite place to celebrate her having landed the job and surviving her first shift. Y/N's mother was almost in tears from being proud - much to Y/N's dismay.
She knew it was all an act.
But she allowed herself to play along. She was proud of herself, after all. The last time she attempted to get herself out there in the world, she had chickened out before she even made it to the building.
And here she was, with a new job and not a single anxiety or panic attack in sight.
After answering her parents questions and accepting their hugs, the two best friends retreated up to Y/N's room.
"And how's the animatronic? His name's Sundrop, right?" Kat asked Y/N, taking her usual place sitting on the daybed with her legs folded beneath her.
"I think it's just Sun. But he's absolutely amazing, Kat! You should've seen it!" She sat down at her desk, distractedly swirling her spoon around in the last bits of her mango sorbet. "I'm so curious about all of the programs that had to be written for him. He's got to have thousands."
"You're such a dweeb," Kat responded, grabbing the stuffed animal nearest to her on the bed and snuggling it.
"Probably," Y/N responded after throwing the now-empty sorbet cup away in the small trash can under her desk. Her hands wandered to the drawer on the desk - pulling out one of the notebooks and flipping to an empty page. She had to get started on her fall garden before the temps started to drop, so she went through and listed the things she really wanted to grow. "But he's just so soft with the children. I didn't expect a robot made of something so dense and virtually indestructible to be so... caring."
"It's all in the programming, you goober." Kat shifted to lie down. "Speaking of, have you figured out what you want to do for your project yet?"
A soft sigh emitted from Y/N. "No," she said simply, pushing the notebook away and bringing the end of the pencil to her mouth. "I just want it to be something that's never been done before. Something... original."
Kat laughed. Y/N was sure she meant nothing negative by it, but she couldn't help the embarrassed hurt that settled in the pit of her stomach. "There's nothing original these days," Kat said. "Don't stress it too much - I don't want to have to coax you out of another panic attack the day before it's due."
"Yeah, I guess so..."
The rest of the evening was spent watching the first few episodes of an anime Y/N had promised Kat she would indulge in with her. But her mind wandered back to schoolwork.
She had absolutely no idea what she would create for the project. She wondered if maybe she could figure something out with building a small robot that could perform basic tasks like bringing objects to its owner or recognizing shapes and colors. But all of that felt far too basic.
Here she was with the opportunity to show her worth - and she couldn't even come up with a single idea.
With one more hug and a last congratulations on her landing the job - Kat left for the night. Y/N wandered back up to her room and focused on planning out her fall garden before switching over to her homework for the evening. After a while, she grew restless as she thought about going back to the plex the next day.
Y/N had barely spent a few hours with the solar animatronic and she was already looking forward to seeing him again. She was so eager to know more about him and how he worked - from the programs and protocols he had to the personality traits he could mimic. She thought about the interactions Sun had with the children again and how gentle he had been.
God, she wasn't normal.
Long after the sun had set and she had grown tired, Y/N finally began her bedtime routine. She hoped Sun would be able to answer her questions about his programming tomorrow. And if he couldn't, she would just ask Max herself and see what he knew.

To all of my followers who followed me for Sun/moon content, I am sorry I haven’t made much updates on my fanfic series with my yandere reader au or any other content with the fandom. Life has been very busy for me with college right now. And some time during last year I lost my hyperfixation for a while and wanted to create art for my original characters. But what I can say is that I have been slowly working on my fic “You are my light, you are my star” in regard to brainstorming ideas for chapters in the story. I have a list for that on a doc. I really do want to keep working on it and share it with you guys. With much love I hope you like some of these silly doodles of y/n and sun/moon. (Including a special guest, my oc Victoria Liano featured in chapter 3/4) ❤️

Into the Deep Chapter 7
Summary:
Things only go downhill when you return to your room and you make a big decision whilst Moon starts putting plans into action.
Oh, you were screwed! You didn't want to be a pessimist, heck, you're usually an optimist but this whole thing is on a whole other level! You had just arrived back to your dorm with Charles and the guards, hoping to be able to rest for a while after the shocking news you had just heard, only to find your room had been torn apart whilst you were out. The sheets had been torn to shreds, the door to your closet had been ripped off, the mirror shattered to pieces, your desk scratched and the chair crushed and this all admits a seas of torn books and papers you had been studying throughout your time here. You carefully stepped through the debris, at first unsure, but when no one popped out you soon quickened your pace as you started searching for one of your most prized possessions. Please let it still be here, please let it still be here, please-
"YES!" You yelled triumphantly as you quickly kneeled by your desk before holding the pearl you got from Sun on your first day up in the air. You smiled fondly at it as you found no traces of damage before carefully putting it in one of your swim gear's pockets. Just when you started to relax though you suddenly heard a loud gasp behind you causing you to flinch in fear but a quick check revealed a very concerned Charles looking around your ruined room. He slowly took it all in, picking up bits of debris before putting them back down carefully until he finally grabbed your lower arm and hoisted you onto your feet, confusing you immensely.
"You can't stay here." He stated shortly before dragging you from the room, ignoring your confused yelps as he did so.
"Charles! I can't just leave all of my stuff! What if he stole something?!" You asked, suddenly remembering that you indeed had other things you cared about in the room, but Charles only shook his head at you.
"Whether he stole something or not your safety has been compromised and I will not be risking your safety for even a moment if I can help it." Charles growled out before taking you into the elevator and bringing you down to the second floor, Security right behind you two. As soon as the elevator opened he quickly dragged you out of it before promptly plopping you down on a couch in between the labs and turning toward the one you recognized as the one you were in with Vanessa. "I need to go and talk to Vanessa about this. We need to put your trial run with Sun and Moon on hold until we can figure this whole mess with Clide out. You need to stay right here with Security in case anything happens and you are not to move from this spot until I get back. Do I make myself clear?"
He asked and you nodded, too confused to say anything to which he smiled and left for Vanessa's office. You watched him go with growing confusion and frustration as your brain tried to register what was going on around you. Speaking of, what the heck was going on? Why was he so concerned? I mean, you get that he's concerned due to Clide's escape, but you didn't expect this level of intensity from him considering the fact he barely knew you and you didn't really know him as a person either. In your eyes, he was more idol than colleague since you had yet to work together.
You sighed tiredly before placing your head in your hands, done with everything when you felt something wet on the palm of your hands. You slowly drew your hands away from your face and sighed again when you saw tears glistening in the lamplight. When did you start crying? You sniffed and quickly wiped your tears away, not wanting to appear weak in front of the guards. You must've been in shock since you heard the news about Clide and in all of the time since then this was your first calm moment in which you could just be. You huffed out a breath of air before leaning back, just letting the tears flow before perking up as you heard footsteps approaching. You quickly wiped the tears away before turning to the noise, finding a less-than-pleased Charles coming towards you.
"I spoke with Vanessa and she offered you a deal." He ground out through clenched teeth before pausing. When you nodded to show you were listening he continued angrily. "You can either leave the island and never return, or you can continue your trial with Sun and Moon by staying with them in the built-in room in their enclosure which hasn't been used since its creation. You only have a few days left before your trial is over, so you need to make this choice today."
You stared at him in shock before feeling red-hot anger warming your core, removing the feelings of coldness you hadn't even registered were there. What the actual hell?! Your safety was at risk and if you didn't continue to do your job Vanessa would just fire you?! What the heck is wrong with that woman?! There has to be something Charles missed!
"Are you sure there isn't a third option, or-?" You asked and Charles chuckled softly before shaking his head causing you to deflate sadly. "Well, this fucking sucks...Maybe I should just call it quits, but I want to keep working here. I love working with Sun and Moon and I want to learn more about the other Mers as well...What would you do in this situation, Charles?"
"I would probably stay, but I don't have anyone waiting for me off this island. Everyone I care for and love is here, so for me, it would make sense, but I'm not you. You have a family and friends at home, don't you?" He asked and you nodded. "Then you need to think about them too. Do what feels right newbie. You can't do anything more than that, but I can assure you that if you choose to stay Henry and I as well as the Security team here at the Sanctuary will do everything in our power to keep you safe." He said before he gave you a small, side hug and stood up. "I need to leave for a quick meeting about the new Mers, but I will be back soon to make sure you're okay. In the meantime, these guys will stick to you like glue and offer you whatever assistance you might need from them, okay?"
You nodded with a small, reassuring smile which he returned before waving and heading off to the elevator. You watched him go in and as soon as the doors were closed you buried your face in your hands once more, screaming your frustration into your palms. Just how bad was your luck right now?! Trapped between having to choose to either stay where someone is out to kill you or leave and never return to the place you've been dreaming about since you were a child. God this sucks! You let out one last muffled sigh before getting up and walking towards the lab. I mean, no matter what you chose you might as well see what the scientists were working on today, might get your mind off of this terrible situation for a bit.
You slowly started walking through the scientists with the Guards close behind, but you soon left after receiving a few glares from said scientists, leaving you with nothing to do once more. Sighing out your annoyance you walked over to the lab where Vanessa told you about your changed deal before grabbing a little tablet underneath the screen where the Mer skeleton used to be, praying that there were some games on it only to find it locked with a numerical password. You grumbled before quickly typing in 1234, not at all optimistic before jumping for joy as the tablet started up. Who knew that it would be so easy to get into a scientist's tablet? Maybe your luck was starting to turn around! You eagerly started looking for games on the tablet, but stopped when you saw a message come in on notifications. Curious as all heck you decided that, hey, if you do choose to leave you might as well go through the messages of the person who caused you to never return here.
You clicked on the notification which brought you to a chatroom with a person labeled 'Boss' and quickly started glazing through the messages. Overall you didn't find anything particularly interesting until you came to a short conversation from about a week ago which showed the following:
It's been over a year Vanessa and we need those things now! Have you finally fixed them yet? -Boss
Yes. I was able to finally perfect the project. They can track and check the vitals of the Mer wearing it, but I was also able to install a microphone and a stunner so that if they start showing signs of intelligence we will have proof and if they start acting up we can shock them to subdue them. The only problem is that we need to put them on the two and I don't know how we can do that. -Vanessa
Well, figure it out! If you can't put those damned collars on those two there will be no way we can keep them here! So you better find a solution or you're out of a job!" -Boss
Yes Sir. -Vanessa
You started shaking as you reread those four messages over and over before quickly putting the tablet down and turning it off. So you were right, there was more to those collars than meets the eye! You would have to destroy them, but then what? Vanessa could just make another set easily with the resources and funding at her disposal. You needed to figure something out, and fast!
Before anyone could stop you, you ran back up to your room, grabbed a (F/c) scarf and the collars before rushing back down again, wrapping the collars up in the scarf as best you could before stuffing it in your pocket. Once you were back down on the second floor you grabbed one of the guards and rushed to Sun and Moon's enclosure, finding that night had already fallen on the island. The cold night air hit you hard at first, but you quickly shrugged off the cold as your current task was far too important to put off until morning, though the guard was not pleased in the least by this.
"Um, Mx.? Why are we going out of the building where you are safest?" They asked nervously as they looked around anxiously.
"I just want to check up on Sun and Moon real quick. I left in quite a hurry and there were a lot of people in their enclosure today, so I need to make sure they're doing okay." You responded and the guard's eyes widened in shock before they quickly rushed in front of you, stopping you in your tracks.
"But you saw them this morning, and the sun is down which means Moon's going to be out!" The guard panicked, terrified of the idea for some reason. You raised an eyebrow at them before slipping by them, much to their dismay.
"I know. I think Moon's the one I need to see anyways as he handles strangers the worst out of the two of them." You said as you continued. The guard spluttered out a few more questions and pleads, but you ignored them. You needed to see Moon now and nothing they could say or do would change your mind on the matter. When you made it to the door of the enclosure you suddenly halted before turning to the guard with a stern expression, needing them to listen to your next words carefully. "I'm only gonna be in for a minute, but if you want you can come in. However, if you do you need to stay by the door. I don't want you to overwhelm or frighten Moon. Do you understand?"
The guard gave you a frightened look before turning to the woods. They probably decided that going in with Moon on the loose had a higher chance of survival than staying out here where a madman could get them as they quickly nodded and as soon as you opened the door they rushed in. When you entered you found them staying next to the door as you had instructed, causing you to let out a sigh of relief before you turned to the task at hand and walked through the sand towards the water, searching for the Mer. It didn't take long to find him though as the moment you were by the water's edge Moon pulled you in, causing you to yelp in surprise.
You squinted through the water and saw Moon right in front of you, the tip of his nightcap right in front of your face as the rest of his body took up the space around you. You gave him a large smile and a wave to which he grinned in response before gently placing his hands underneath your arms and jumping out of the water with you in tow. You shrieked in surprise but started laughing once the two of you were on the sand again, elated by the unique experience you had just been given.
"Hello." Moon said softly and you calmed down enough to smile at him.
"Hey Moon, how are you?" You asked and he was about to respond, but then started to frown and rub himself against you. You giggled at the feeling, before realising with a start that he was nuzzling you. HE WAS NUZZLING YOU! You felt yourself start to vibrate in excitement as you realized how close you'd gotten to the Moonlight Mer when he suddenly stopped and scrunched his nose.
"You smell." He said to which you placed one of your hands over your heart with a dramatic gasp.
"Excuse you, I don't smell!" You retorted and he chuckled before booping your nose.
"And yet you do little Starlight." You scrunched your nose at him and he chuckled once more before placing you down gently on your feet. "Now tell me, to what do I owe the pleasure of your company tonight? Earlier you said you wouldn't be here until tomorrow."
"Ah right! A lot's happened since then and I need to discuss something with you, but before I do you need to stay quiet for a bit." You explained as you started rummaging through your now-soaked pockets. He raised an eyebrow but thankfully remained silent as you grabbed the scarf bundle from your pocket and held it out to him. He took it and carefully unwound the scarf before picking up the two collars, confused which caused you to start nervously blurt out all that you knew about them. "These collars are designed to spy on, shock, and track the two of you. I was told by Vanessa that if I didn't put these on you two before my trial period was over I would lose my job here and, though I don't want to lose my job, I don't want you guys to get hurt far more than that. So here. Do with these what you will but please, please be careful! And don't put them on! I don't think they can be removed easily-"
You were abruptly cut off by Moon suddenly hugging you, which shocked you for a few reasons. Unlike Sun's hugs which were strong and exciteable, Moon's were softer, gentler. He nuzzled into the crook of your neck and the two of you stayed like that for a moment before he gave your forehead a small lick, causing you to blue-screen. For a moment you just stood there, frozen before the biggest smile came to your lips, causing Moon to chuckle before he quickly buried the two collars in the sand.
"Thank you for telling me Starlight...But are you sure you want to stop working here? Sunny would truly miss you, you know." He said and you winced guiltily.
"I don't, I wanna stay here and learn from you two but unless Vanessa is willing to rethink our deal there's nothing I can do. For the last few days at least I'll work here as a live-in caretaker in the room over there, but outside of that I don't know what else I could do." You sighed and Moon nodded.
"Well, the choice is yours. I hope Vanessa does change her mind, for Sun's sake." Moon said and you nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, I know and I hope so too! The last thing I want to do is cause that boy any stress about this. And I also really just enjoy working with you guys and I would hate to lose everything that we've built due to something like this..." You said sadly as Moon placed one of his hands on your shoulder, giving it a reassuring squeeze as he did so.
"I'm sure you'll figure it out. You've done so much as it is since you've started working here, I'm sure that figuring something like this out will be a piece of cake for you." He said and you smiled up at him before giving the hand on your shoulder a gentle squeeze in return.
"Thank you, Moon, but how are you so sure about that? I don't think I can solve something like this in so little time." You said sadly and Moon grinned, showing off his sharp teeth as he did so.
"Let's just say, I have a gut feeling about it." He mused and you smiled, confused but grateful for his faith in you.
"Thanks, Moon. Now, I'm gonna go get my stuff and move into that old room tonight so that I can get started as your guy's live-in caretaker tomorrow. I'll see you in a sec Moon!" You said to which he nodded. You shot him a small smile before waving and heading out with the guard on your heels, ready to tell Vanessa that you were going to be staying here until the trial time was over.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Moon watched you leave with a soft smile on his face which sharpened when you were gone. He chuckled darkly as he turned his head toward the place where he had buried the collars only moments before. He knew he was right! He knew that the humans here were planning something and now, thanks to you he knew what they were after. Quick as can be he plunged his clawed hands into the sand and retrieved the two collars, inspecting the way the metal reflected in the moonlight before crushing it in his hand, smiling wickedly as they sparked and sizzled before throwing them over the tall, glass wall of their prison. Once they were out of sight he thought back to what you had told him about the collars.
Vanessa...Yes, that's who needed to pay. She nearly cost him and his brother everything and was threatening to make you leave here...And he couldn't have that. No matter what, he and Sun would take care of her and make sure she could never harm them again...And you. He was still surprised by his newfound affection for you but now that he did care he would allow no harm to ever befall you. You were now under his protection, whether you liked it or not.
However, in order to find a fitting punishment for Vanessa and ensure that whoever else might have been a part of this scheme shared said punishment he needed to know what they looked like. And the only person who could help him with either of these things was Sun. Moon looked up and saw that the moon had not yet reached its peak, meaning he could probably wake Sun up. Without losing another moment he quickly slid over to the lump that was Sun and carefully shook him awake, causing Sun to let out a whine as he poked his head out of the sand, obviously tired.
"Moonie...? What's going on?" He asked and Moon softened at his tired voice, urging him to lay down beside his brother with a warm smile
"Sorry Sunny, but I need your help with something." Moon said and Sun cocked his head to the side, confused before rubbing his eyes tiredly.
"Can't this wait until morning? I'm exhausted." Sun said as he lay his head back down on the sand, not noticing Moon's smile turning wicked as he knew what to say to rile Sun up.
"Not even if it's to help our precious Starlight?" That got his attention. Within a blink of an eye, Sun had perked up.
"Starlight? Wait, do you mean Sunshine?!" He asked panicked and before Moon could answer Sun had already propped himself up, grabbed Moon's shoulders, and started shaking him as his fins pinned down on his head due to fear. "What happened?! Are they hurt?! Did Clide find them?! WHAT HAPPENED?!"
"Sunny, calm down! Clide is locked up, remember? He can't harm anyone-" Moon started, confused, but Sun shook his head wildly at that, silencing him.
"No Moon! He escaped! That's why they made such a fuss this morning!" Sun nearly screamed and Moon's eyes widened in surprise before they narrowed into a glare and he let out a low growl.
"These filthy creatures are making our Starlight work when they're in imminent danger?" Moon hissed and Sun's eyes narrowed at this.
"What are they doing to Sunshine?" Sun hissed out, squeezing Moon's shoulders more tightly, causing Moon to grin. It had been a while since he'd seen this side of his brother and he was grateful to see it again.
"They threatened to fire (Y/n) if they didn't put some collars on us. I already took care of those, but I'm guessing that due to Clide's escape, they were being pushed to complete it despite how risky this is to their wellbeing." Moon said and Sun glared as his fins flared out in anger and a horrid grin stretched across his lips.
"Well then, let's make sure they stay safe by taking care of those pests threatening them and their position here." Sun said with a growl and Moon grinned sharply at that, pleased with his brother's silent proposal.
"Sun, you took the words right out of my mouth."
Our Tattooed Flower
Sun and Moon are separate
x tattooed reader
Imagine having multiple tattoos littering your body. You start working and the management couldn't have cared less that you had tattoos. You’re the one stuck helping kids in the daycare since it was the only open spot. No one else wanted to be around those too-energetic kids. The last hired even volunteered to clean the bathrooms before they would help the daycare. Aight, that’s fine for you. You surprisingly love kids anyway.
Sun and Moon at first are extremely wary of you. How could they not be? More people than would be safe to admit that came here with tattoos were bad news.
They did try to keep the kids from you as much as possible. When coloring, having you sit on the single side of the table, out of reach. During naptime, even if a kid woke from a nightmare, you weren’t allowed to console them. Honestly, their avoidance kinda hurt you a little bit.
Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for you, there were just too many kids for the duo to tail them all and prevent them from getting to you.
One day, a tiny 5-year-old girl snuck by and came over with so much wonder it radiated off her in waves. She asked question after question, and even if she could touch them even though her previous question was if they can be felt.
You answered all of them kindly and happily, also letting her touch one of your favorites on your forearm. She somehow got even more excited to the point you worried she might explode. She jumps onto the balls of her feet, then takes off towards the two animatronics, grabbing them both by a wrist.
Your heart plummets as she gleefully brings them over, having other kids quickly follow suit in curiosity as well.
You can’t help but chuckle after figuring out they must have realized what she did, and they tried to wrangle all the kids away again. But they're all curious now, and their attempt if beyond fruitless. They eventually give up.
You spent a while informing more of every tattoo with a lighter story to them. They were just quick snips earlier since you were so worried of them coming over and taking her away. Also made up lighter stories for the darker ones as to not scare or sadden them.
They were so baffled to see you so kind and patient with each and every kid. Honestly, probably even more gentle than they were at times. Especially with all their physical poking and prodding, and how some didn’t ask before poking. Even Sun admits he’s snapped at a few children before for trying to play with his visible wires on the back of his head.
After that, they fell hard quick.
You were surprised how they did such a 180 right after that day. Not even a week after, and they were already calling you a nickname of sunflower and moonflower. Inviting you to interact with the kids more, help them check kids at naptime, wrangle them up for said naptime, and even games like tag.
The strangest part though was how your hands went from almost always barren, to never getting a second with them empty. From toys, to kids, to certain metallic hands holding or covering your own.
You’d take that any day over before though. It must just be a bonding thing in their programs(it’s not). In speaking of bonding...
Over a weekend about a month after that day, they realized how... empty the daycare is without you. It’s much harder to wrangle up the kids, have time to clean everything, and how more have nightmares than they originally thought.
That and the unending happiness they feel with you around. It makes their systems rather close overheating by the time you leave, but they couldn’t care less. They now do end up overheating days you aren’t around.
You’re immediately bombarded by Sun upon entry.
“Hellloooo Sunflower! So great to see you again! how was your weekend? It felt lonely without you here! We sure missed you!”
Moon is much more on the down low about it. “It’s definitely different without you around.” You can tell he cares big time though.
One time, you take a week off. You come in with a new one tattooed on the back of your left hand. it’s of a shining sun with a crescent moon in front of it on the bottom, only the top half covering a tiny part of the sun.
The familiar 5-year-old was there again and immediately noticed it, obviously asking for the story. “Look closely at it, and around the room. Does it remind you of anything?
She got it right after looking at the two. “Sunny and Moony!?”
You smile. “Yep! in memory of all the fun times here before, and to come, I decided to get the two on me!”
She jumps into your arms. “will you ever get one to remind you of me?”
You smile at her again. “Who’s to say it doesn’t already also include you? You’re here too, aren’t you? Ooh, or are you a ghost!? spooooky~”
She giggles.
The two were watching the whole time and noticed it immediately as well. That’s when they knew that you were their flower. They’ll find one way or another to keep you here more permanently. One way or another.
You're cooking eggs and bacons for breakfast. You've already readied the breads and the plates on the kitchen table. You're only waiting for the food to cook and for Moon to wake up. You guessed he's having a hard time sleeping because of his wound or how small the couch is. Maybe both.
Today is Moon's second day living in your house. Nothing bad had happened while he's living in your house...Well not yet atleast. You still don't trust him for he might hurt you when you least expect it. It's his second day living in your house after all.
But you do admit,you like his company. It doesn't make you feel alone. You sometimes feel guilty for not trusting him while enjoying his company. You thought that maybe if you get to know him more then you'll be able to trust him. And that's exactly what you're gonna do.
In this day,you decided to get to know a little more about Moon. The only thing you know about him so far is his name and likes reading. He's also quiet and shy which you may or may not find it cute. You thought maybe you should talk about yourself too to let him know more about yourself. Like your favorite color,favorite food and other stuff.
You don't know why you want to get to know him. He's only gonna be living in your house for a few days after all. Maybe it's because he's mysteriousness intrigued you... That or you wanted to know if he's a criminal. And who knows,you and him might become friends.
The smell of food already cooked,you turn off the stove and went to the table to put each plate some eggs and bacons. Maybe you should go the village and buy food some time. Cook something new for yourself.
"Goodmorning.." Moon greeted. "Goodmorning Moon. Breakfast is ready." You said as you sat down to eat. "How's sleep?" You asked. "..Fine..." He replied. There was a little pause before he asked "..How's yours?"
"It was alright." You answered as you finish taking a bite out of the bread. "How's your wound there?" You questioned. "It's getting better,actually...It hurts a little bit but i can manage.." He answered. 'Well that's good.' You thought as you took a drink from your cup. You looked at him,only for him to avert his eyes away. Does he want to tell you something?
"Uhm..Something on your mind Moon? You can tell me. You know i don't bite." You joked to ease him. He smiled at that. "...Actually.. I-" "Y/nnn!" A masculine voice yelled your name, interrupting Moon. A loud bang was heard from your front door.
"Oh my god.." You signed as you pinched the bridge of your nose. "..I'm guessing that was a relative of yours?" Moon asked as he looked at the direction of the front door. "Nah he's uhh,my annoying friend." You answered as you got up from your chair to let your friend in. "Ah...I see.." Moon said,watching you open the door.
.
.
.
"Y/nnnn!" He yelled once again. "Open the door! I've got to tell you something!" He shouted as he knocked on the door. "Goddamn Antony. Always up my ass in the morning." You grumbled as you went close to the front door. "Y/nn-" You opened the door just for him to fall down. "Goodmorning Antony. " You said as you smiled down at him.
"Goodmorning." He whined from the pain. He got up from the floor and went to hug you. "You haven't visited for a long time,i got worried and thought i should went over to check up on you." He stated as he let go.
Ah right,you forgot to visit him at the village. You felt bad that you made him worry. You scratched the back of your neck and gave him an apologetic smile. "Sorry Tony,i was kind of busy for the past few weeks. But if you haven't had any breakfast yet,would you like to join us?" You asked hoping he would accept.
Antony gave you a confusing look. "Wait "Us"? I thought you live alone." He tried to peek behind your back only for you to block him with your hand. "I do... Well not anymore,I uhh... He's...A friend of mine that I met yesterday...." You hesitantly said.
Antony could feel your nervousness so he did what he could to not make you nervous...
He gasped loudly and then yelled. " Y/nnnn?! You met another friend?! Are you replacing me?! UgH how cruel!!" He leaned on you,putting his hand over his head and said "How could my dear friend do this to meeee?!" He whined as he put all of his weight on you.
You groaned. "Calm down you dramatic king. I would never do that to you." You reassured him as you push him off of you. You're secretly thankful for his dramatic ass,it made less nervous about him meeting Moon. "We're actually eating breakfast but then we heard you banging on my door. I asked you if you ate breakfast or not so you could join us." You said as you lead him to the kitchen.
"Have you eaten breakfast Antony?" You repeated your question from earlier. "I sadly did but I don't mind hogging all your food." He joked. You snickered at that. "Well if you're gonna hog all my food you're gonna be paying for that as well." You said,playing along. He laughed,knowing damn well he's broke.
"Well how about we eat together at 3pm? I wanna know who's the new friend you met yesterday." Antony is very curious on how you met them. He's also a little suspicious of the new friend. "Oh sure! He's waiting at the kitchen." You and him went pass the living room to the kitchen.
"Hey Mo..." You went silent to see no Moon sitting on his chair. His plate isn't there too. He probably washed them. You looked at the window to see it open... Did he went out of the window?
'Oh my god' You thought as you stared wide eye at the window. 'He's hiding from someone. That's what criminals do!' You internally panicked as you looked around frantically. 'Calm down Y/n,calm down. Maybe he doesn't like meeting new people and such... Yeah,yeah that should be it... I'm definitely hiding a longer Knife under my pillow.' You thought as you calmed yourself down.
"Sooo... Where are they?" Antony asked,looking around to find your new friend. "He... He just left..." You answered,looking at one of the cabinets for your cookies. Once you found your jar of cookies,you took off the lid and started eating. There are 7 cookies left in the jar,you suppose you should just buy cookies at the town.
"Damn... So he's not a social one..." Antony said as he went beside you. "How did you meet him by the way?" He asked,leaning against the counter.
You think telling him how you met Moon would freak him out...And maybe lecture you so you dodge the question. "Well... It's a long story..." You said. But then you remembered he said he's got to tell you something so you asked him instead. "What about you? You said you've got to tell me something right? I wanna know."
You saw his eyes widen in realization. "Oh,right! Yeah about that... Well it's not really important honestly,i was just wondering if you would like to walk with me at the town some time? I heard there's that one bakery where they sell strawberry cookies." He looked away bashfully as to not let you see his slightly pink cheeks.
You looked at the ground and thought.. "Hm... A walk at the town,huh... Sure i'll walk with you at the town. And eat those cookies... Are you gonna pay for it?" You jokingly asked,grinning at him with. He gave you a playful smirk. "Only if you pay for a ride."
"What?! Never! Use your legs instead!" You gave him a playful glare only for him to loudly snicker. "Nah,you should definitely carry me." He leaned on you with all his weight...Again...
You took a step back and he fell,but you caught him with your left hand to prevent him from falling his ass again. "No can do Tony. So.. When do we go?" You helped him get up. He dusted himself off with his hands and replied with "I don't know,whenever you're free? I mean we could do it today but we haven't really prepared yet so...Are you free tomorrow?" He asked.
You ate the last cookie and went to the sink to wash the jar. As you finished,you went to get the cloth you use to wipe the washed dishes. "I think i am. I'm also running out of meat and i don't have vegetables to cook anymore so we should do it tomorrow. Are you free tomorrow? I thought you have work everyday. Y'know,being a librarian and all."
"They gave me a day off for being their most hard working worker ever!" Antony puffed his chest proudly at that.
Putting the cookie jar at the cabinet,you went to the living room. Walking pass by him. "Wow that's good to hear man."
"Hey wait up!" He went to catch up on you.
.
.
.
Moon watched you and the man leaving kitchen to go to the living room. He's outside of your house,sitting on a log far away from your house where you can't see him but far enough where he can see you.
Moon was annoyed that someone interrupted him. That someone interrupted their breakfast. He would have just told you to ignore them but your too kind for that.
Yes..Kind...Too..Kind...
He's...Worried..Worried about how your too kind. Your kindness may have been nice but what if someone took advantage of that? He'll most likely just kill them but what would you think? Would you be scared if you found out he killed someone becuase they're taking advantage of your kindness? Or would you be happy that he killed someone to keep you safe? Safe from this wretched world?
He saw the way your eyes widen when you saw the window opened. He squinted his eyes and saw you sweating. You got scared because he wasn't there... Were you perhaps scared that he went away for good? Were you perhaps worried about him?..
..No,you're most likely scared that he's a criminal because of how he left by the time you let your friend in at your house. That's no coincidence,only a dumb fool would think of that..Except you of course,you're no dumb fool. Moon would rather stitch his mouth than call you a dumb fool. He would never degrade you,why would he? You helped him,let him live in your house. He should praise you instead.
He thought he should have closed the window but there wasn't enough time for him to do so. Not like it's gonna help anyways...Oh well,he'll just have to make up an excuse just because.
He looked around,thinking of what he should do in the meantime. He decided that he should go back home in 2 days,and maybe steal some clothes at the town. He's been using this filthy robe for more than 3 weeks.
.
.
.
"And so the girl killed herself so the two boys would not fight over her...The end..." You closed the book after reading it out loud to Antony. "What do you think of this story Tony?" You asked for his opinion. "It's so dark jeez." He answered as he looked for another book to read. "Why didn't the girl just y'know,kill them instead?" He found a book that's interesting to read. "That's dark too y'know." You said as you put the book back on the book shelf.
"Yeah but it benefits her more. And also,it's those two boys fault anyway,they deserved to get killed. They ruined her life. She helped them to get better,being the peace maker of the two,and then they broke her legs because she just went out to buy some food? Only for them to trap her in a cage like an animal? They definitely deserve to be punished... Well at least that story is interesting...Interesting enough to talk shit about the characters.." He went back to sit with you at the couch. "That your not wrong..." You whispered. You thought about what Antony said...And well... Maybe you shouldn't think too hard on that. It's just a story after all.
"Hey it's my turn to read. This story is about an immortal being falling in love with a human." He stated. You lift your brow at him. "We both know the endings' gonna be sad. That the mortal's gonna grow old and old until they pass away,leaving the immortal one sad and alive." You said laying down and closing your eyes for a bit.
"Yea but this one's different! This time,the immortal one is gonna do something to make the mortal be like them,an immortal." He showed you the back of the book. You looked at it and said "Oh? I'm interested,read it out loud now." You closed your eyes.
"Right! Though I should get going 'cause the sun's setting but this will be quick!" He said as he went to the first page. "Yeah,you should.." You started to imagine the characters of the story.
.
.
.
"Wow that was actually fast. I thought you're gonna be staying here for the night." You lead him to the front door. "You're saying that as if you don't want me here." Antony joked,following you. "Nope,quite the opposite actually. I really love your company,i kinda of hope that we would do this more often..." Antony stoped in his tracks,he felt flattered that you love his company. He was thinking of getting a house build next to yours. "Really?" He asked.
"Yup,you should probably go now. It looks like it's going to get dark pretty fast.. Don't want you getting eaten by the wolves or bears or some." You opened the door for him.
He went outside and looked back at you. "Don't forget about tomorrow alright? I'll drag your ass if you did." He smirked. "That is if i forget." You grinned at him. "Welp get going now,see you tomorrow Antony!" You yelled at him as he went back to his village. "I will! See you too!" He ran off while waving at you.
You waved back,closing the door. Reading with Antony was really fun it tired you out a little.
You went into the kitchen and started making dinner. You took the frozen fish out of the fridge and defrosted it. You sat at the table,waiting for the fish to defrost. You looked around... You tapped your fingers against the table... You whistled a song... You tried to do things that would make noise.
The silence os really getting to you huh? You forgot what it feels like to be alone...
Oh well,that's fine. Your have more food for yourself anyways...
You remembered Moon... Moon... He's... He really is such an odd fella... He hasn't come home yet,maybe you should unlock the front door incase he came back.
.
.
.
You're on your way to your bedroom,getting ready to sleep. You already showered and ate,also leaving Moon some food.
You plop yourself on your bed,feeling the hard bed. You felt your eyelids dropping... Finally... Some rest..
Would You Smooch a Killer Robot? [X] Heck Yes - Chapter 6
Notes: I know my fellow Sunnyfuckers have been waiting for this one. Also, whoops, I kinda popped off with my own headcanons oopsie daisies
That moment when you're trying to be horny and you accidentally make Sunnydrop a yandere... oop sorry besties
CONTENT WARNING: Yandere, possessive Sun/Moon, dubcon that rapidly turns into very-enthusiastic-con
CHAPTER 6: Dusk to Dawn
You awoke some time later, surrounded by plush softness with a bouncing tune beckoning you to rise.
“...hwa…?” You groggily moaned, blinking sleepily as the light stung your eyes.
“Oh! You’re finally awake!” An almost annoyingly-chipper voice greeted you, and as your vision fully came back you noticed a yellow blob dancing before you.
You scrubbed at your eyes with your fists before blinking warily at the blob as it came into form as a dancing animatronic with the face of a sun. “... Huh?”
“You sure slept a while!” The grinning animatronic patted your head and sat next to you with his legs crossed. “I was worried Freddy wore you out too much!”
“... Who?” You raised an eyebrow. “Where am I?”
“Oh, where are my manners?!” He thrust out his hand. “Welcome to the Daycare! You can call me Sun, Sunny, Sunnydrop, whatever you want!”
Hesitantly, you took his hand. His grip was firm, and so was his shake. You scanned your brain for where you could have seen him before… and then you remembered.
“Oh, you’re the sun guy!” You exclaimed. “I remember seeing a poster of you somewhere!”
“That’s me!” He gave you a thumbs-up. “And since Freddy left you with me, you have to abide by the rules. Do you know them already?”
You shook your head.
“Okay! Rule one…” then he leaned in, and his voice dropped an octave, and you felt a shudder go down your spine. “...  Keep. The lights. On.”
You smiled weakly, leaning back. “And…?”
He straightened back up, and to your relief, his voice was back to normal. “That’s it! Of course, naughty language and kicking, punching, fighting, and other things are also prohibited, but the light is really the main rule!”
“Cool…” you glanced around the strange little room. It was more akin to a cave, really, with pictures plastered around the walls and a strange little arcade machine buzzing away in the corner. How the heck was there even power in here, considering the entrance looked like someone bashed it in…?
“So what do you like to do for fun?” Sun bounced in his spot. “Fingerpaint? Stories? Arts and crafts? Ball pits?”
“Sleep,” you yawned.
“No, you can’t go back to sleep now! You just woke up!” Sun rested his hands on your shoulders. “C’mon, new friend! Let’s do something!”
No wonder he was in a daycare. He was just a little too energetic for you. Maybe you were getting old?
No, I can’t be getting that old, kids these days just have a lot more energy, you groused. Oh no, wait, now I sound like my parents.
You shook your head and tried to snuggle back into the pillow. “Sleep.”
“Are you really that tired?” He questioned, almost sadly.
You opened one eye to see him drooped over like a wilting flower. Though he had that grin on his face, he didn’t look anything but dejected.
Sympathy struck your chest. You remember feeling that way all the time, getting disappointed when people didn’t want to play or hang out with you, be it friends, classmates, clubmates…
Heaving a quiet sigh, you sat up. “Alright, I guess I could play for a little bit. I’m still a little sore though, so nothing strenuous.”
“Yes!” Sun was back to his bouncy, happy self, and he helped you from the little bed of blankets and pillows and patted your back. “I can’t wait! It’s been so long since I had someone to play with after hours, it gets so lonely at night!”
You felt a wry smile tug at your lips at his words. “Lonely, huh…”
“And Vanessa never wants to do anything with me,” he huffed. “And the other animatronics never visit, either! It’s just me!”
He bounced in front of you and grabbed you into a hug. “But now that you’re here, we can do so many things!”
Your eyes widened as he lifted you off the ground. Just how strong was this beanpole? He was only lifting you up by your armpits!
“Boy oh boy, we can do so many fun things!” He continued, chittering excitedly. “We can draw, we can play in the ball pit, we can drink Fizzy Faz until our heads EXPLODE and have a slumber party!”
You chuckled weakly, patting his wrists. “You can put me down now, y’know.”
“Oh! Sorry!” He set you down with a laugh. “Let’s go!”
True to his word, you ended up doing a lot of different things. He led you around the massive area, bringing out supplies upon supplies and letting you pick what to do. You admittedly had a fun time indulging in your inner child, drawing with him and laughing yourselves silly as you drank Fizzy Faz. Thankfully you’d brought a spare toothbrush and toothpaste with you in your bag, otherwise you would have felt guilty about going to bed with a mouth full of sugar.
Sun proved to be just as fun-loving and energetic as he’d been at first meeting, though he did try to subdue it when you didn’t match his energy. He was kinda cute - no, scratch that, he was hella cute. You came to quickly realize why the kids got him as an attendant.
Still, one thing nagged at you, and that was what both Sun and Vanessa had mentioned to you earlier - what about the moon was so dangerous? If he hadn’t hurt any children yet (only traumatized them, which is so much better, your brain snarked), what would he do to you?
Geez, Nessie, you remembered yourself jesting. You’re talking about it as if it’s gonna try to murder my face if it gets dark.
Not that you wanted to test it, but as your time together went on and you found yourself looking at Sun more and more, the more you wondered.
“What’s on your mind, friend?” He asked, stirring you out of your thoughts.
“Oh, nothing,” you deflected with a shake of your head and a smile, taking the last swig of your soda. “I’m getting kind of tired again.”
“Okay! Do you want to go back up and play some more?” He asked, holding out his hand for your empty can.
“We could just talk, or whatever.” You nodded in thanks as he took the can.
“Alright!” Sun skipped off to dispose of the cans and you got up, stretching your tired muscles.
What time was it? You reached for your phone in your back pocket and felt something crinkle against your fingertips. Frowning, you pulled it out - and was greeted by some Glamrock Freddy-themed notebook paper.
 Hello, (y/n)!
 I hope you don’t mind, but I dropped you off in the Daycare to rest up. I had a lot of fun with you earlier. Make sure to drink plenty of water and eat a healthy snack. Come back to visit me soon!
 -Freddy
You smiled softly at the little bear sketch at the end of the message, as well as the neat handwriting. Sweet, yet to the point. Definitely Freddy.
Shaking your head, you put it in your other pocket and pulled out your phone. When you turned it on, you frowned at the low battery warning, as well as the time. It was just after 4:40.
That doesn’t give me much time, you lamented with a frown. I still haven’t met up with Vanessa yet.
“I’m back!” Sun announced, extending a hand. “Let’s go!”
You took it, and as you walked, he skipped beside you. The firm grip on your hand meant your arm bounced with him, and you found yourself smiling at his antics.
“So, Sun,” you began, causing him to look over and pause mid-stride, “Am I really the first one to play with you after the kids leave?”
“Yes.” For a moment, his demeanor grew more sullen and his voice dropped. But then he was turning to you with a chipper, “We’re having so much fun, aren’t we?”
“Yeah,” you agreed, squeezing his hand. It was pleasantly warm. “Surprisingly, I am.”
“That’s great! I’m so glad!” His head whirled around as his bells jingled. “You sure are fun to play with! The children like to do their own thing, but you, you play games with me!”
His words were eager, happy, and your heart twisted even more when you thought about how lonely he must be. You knew kids could be unpredictable and oftentimes mean or messy. With how anxious he could be to please (you had told him you didn’t like a certain flavor of Fizzy Faz and he  panicked as he went back to get you your favorite kind), working with kids must have been stressful for him.
Imagine that, you thought sardonically. They gave the damned children's animatronic fucking anxiety. I’d be surprised, but Freddy and Monty have dicks that cum freaking soda-flavored… something.
“Say, what’s that room I woke up in? That doesn’t look very safe,” you observed as he led you up to his little alcove.
“Huh? That?” He pointed to the little ramshackle spot and scratched the back of his head. “I don’t really know. One day it was just there! I don’t…” he leaned forward and his voice dropped again. “I don’t… remember… ”
You raised an eyebrow at him as he crept towards it, reaching out to touch the jagged edges of the wall.
“The boy…” his voice, intense and deep, made your heart skip a beat. “The…”
“... Sun?” You questioned, quiet and confused.
He slowly craned his head around to stare at you for several long seconds.
Something about him felt different. Dangerous.
You stepped back. What the hell…?!
Then he shook his head. “Sorry, friend! I don’t know what happened there!”
You eyed him, laughing nervously.
“Anyways, what do you want to do now?” He hopped in place, fiddling with his hands. “We can play the arcade game some more! Or- or I can bring up some drawing materials! You wanna paint?”
“I kind of just want to sit down,” you admitted. Your legs were still sore, and while getting up and walking around had soothed that ache somewhat, it was still uncomfortably present.
“Or we can sit down!” He was quick to add, gesturing to the hole in the wall.
You bent down to climb in. You couldn’t stand up all the way because of how short it was. Geez, did a kid make this? But how would they get back here?
Sun followed you in, sitting crisscross-applesauce on the floor as you settled onto the blankets.
“So!” He clasped his hands together. “What do you wanna talk about? Ooh, I have stories about the daycare!”
You sat back, holding the plush Bonnie he’d given you. Your thumb absently stroked the plush’s head as he began talking with exaggerated movements, telling you stories about the kids.
“--And there was Susie, she was such a nice girl!” He added. “Always hungry. I hate to remind her about snack time because it makes her cry.”
You smiled with a shake of your head. “Sounds like you’ve got your hands full, huh?”
“Not all the time!” He replied. “Sometimes an older boy comes in and helps me with the little ones! What was his name…”
He paused to think, and at the same time, your phone vibrated. When you pulled it out to read a text from Vanessa, his voice became glitchy and deep.
“Mi- ch- ael,” he uttered in a deadpan tone. “Michael…”
Freddy told me he left you with the daycare attendant, Vanessa’s frantic text read. GET OUT OF THERE NOW!
y whats wrong you texted back with a frown.
You didn’t have enough time to wait for her reply as your phone abruptly died.
Cursing under your breath, you opened your mouth to interrupt Sun when all of a sudden the power shut off.
“NO!” He shrieked, backing away from you with his hands over his face. “No, it can’t be-- not yet, not yet!”
“What’s wrong?!” You exclaimed, reaching for him.
“Run! Run away from me!” He kept yelling. “I don’t want to hurt my friends--!”
You gasped once you realized. Shit. It’s about time for the power to go off.
Scrambling to your feet with Sun’s panicked screaming following you out of the little room, you tried your best to ignore your screaming muscles and run away.
Fuck, I left my bag! You screeched to a halt in the daycare arena, looking back up at the alcove desperately. Can I go back for it?
A malicious laugh echoed from the platform on high, forcing you to look up as bright red eyes and little glowing stars stared at you from the darkness.
“It’s past your bedtime,” a gravelly, sing-song voice taunted.
“What the fuck is that,” you breathed in terror as you stepped back.
You heard mechanical wires warbling as the animatronic flipped down from the platform, and you frantically looked around for it.
“Where are you?” You shouted, gripping your dead phone tight.
More giggling, this time closer to you.
Before you could react, something grabbed your arms and forced them behind your back, shoving you to the ground. You could only turn your head to the side in time to prevent a painful impact, the breath punched from your lungs as you stared up at the robot.
“Naughty, naughty  girl,” its voice snarled, and a freezing hand was dragged down your face as you winced away. “I know what you di-iiid~”
“I’m not afraid of you,” you bit back, with fear in your quivering voice.
“Naughty girls need punishment,” it continued as if you hadn’t spoken. “Or would that be a treat for you?”
“Huh?” You got out intelligently as your jeans were yanked down.
What the fuck? You thought, before its cold fingers cupped you through your panties. Oh. OH.
Your curiosity superseded your nerves, and all you could think was tell me this thing doesn’t also have a dick.
You sharply gasped as he fondled you, fingertips teasing at your folds and thumb hooking into the side of the fabric.
“So wet already,” he cooed, face coming down near your ear. “Even though I helped the bear clean you up… you little bike.”
You turned to stare up at him in alarm. “You mean-- you knew?!”
“How could I not?” He giggled, his deep voice reverberating through your head. “Poor Freddy was so worried, hoping he hadn’t broken his new friend,” his voice darkened. “But he isn’t here to take you away this time. No, no… you’re my friend now. And I’m not letting you leave!”
Biting your lip to stifle another whimper, you felt him tug your panties aside and plunge one freezing finger inside of you, shocking your system. You arched your back, pressing your chest into the ground as he plunged the digit in and out. Loud squishing noises hid your panting as you spread your legs wider.
“F- fuh,” you moaned. “Aah…”
“How adorable,” he giggled maniacally. “You made the same noises when we cleaned you up. I wonder… how loud can I make you?”
Spreading you open with his thumb and last finger, he added another digit to your burning insides. Your walls gripped and quivered deliciously around his fingers, and he uttered a low groan that made your pussy clench. You gasped at the contact and his grip tightened on your wrists.
“Whuh-- uhn-- M- Moon,” you keened. “Fuck--”
“Nuh-uh,” he tsked as he withdrew his fingers. “No naughty language in the daycare.”
“I’m sorry...”
“Are you?” He patted your ass just firm enough to make you flinch. “Don’t make me punish you.”
“Yes,” you nodded rapidly, trying to wiggle your hips back onto his fingers. I’ll be good, please just keep going.”
“This is supposed to be a punishment.” He sounded irritated.
“I’m definitely getting punished right now,” you snapped. “Please, Moon. Please keep going.”
“Naughty.” He swatted you again and you yelped. “Just this once.”
You mewled as his fingers returned, teasing and grinding against you in your best spot. You squirmed against his hold, the pressure building way too rapidly in your gut for you to properly enjoy it.
“Agh, Moon--!” You cried out as his other hand reached around to press your back to his chest. His hands teased around your chest, fondling you through your shirt. “I’m so close, please…!”
“Do it,” he hissed into your ear. “Come for me, you filthy thing.”
You gladly did so, crying out into the empty daycare, your voice echoing as you gushed around his fingers. HIs other hand gripped your boob almost painfully, and you could hear him groan sinfully into your ear.
As you sagged against his grip, his fingers popped out with a squelch - and he grabbed your wrists again. The second you felt something hard binding them together, your eyes went wide - and you began to struggle.
“Stop it! Stay still!” He snarled, pushing your face further into the ground.
“What the hell are you doing?!” You yelled, gritting your teeth as you stared up into his red pinpricks of light.
“I’m going to leave my other self a little present,” Moon snickered as he tied your wrists tighter with the jump rope. “Be a good girl and give me your legs.”
“What--?!” You tried to kick, but he easily seized your calf with your arms tied up.
Gripping your legs tight, he spread your knees and crossed your ankles together before pulling out more jump rope and tying them together. You made a low noise of pain deep in your throat as he tied them back, interlacing the two jump ropes together so that you were snugly flat on the ground with your legs behind you in the air like a trussed-up turkey.
Moon got up and admired his handiwork, his permanent grin seeming even more malevolent with the light from his eyes illuminating one half of his face.
“Won’t he be surprised,” he giggled, squatting down to stroke a finger across your panties and relishing in your startled gasp. “He’ll never tell you, but he’s grown very attached to you by now. I don’t think he’ll let you escape that easily~”
“Moon, c’mon,” you pleaded quietly, struggling against your bonds. “I’m not going to run, you don’t have to tie me up like this.”
“Of course I do!” He snapped, and the fierce tone of his voice made you shrink back. “I know you’re lying! They all do!”
“All…?” Your little murmur went unheard as the animatronic began to rage.
“I have nobody to stay, nobody to keep me from losing my mind!” He ranted, pacing behind you with his hands gripping the sides of his face. “They all leave us! They all escape!”
“Moon,” you tried again.
“No!” He thundered. “Ever since she came… something’s wrong with our code. The children fear us, don’t you know? Nothing has been harder than being forced to watch yourself lose everything left!”
You stared in silent shock as he laughed madly, throwing his head back.
“Bonnie was the first!” He crowed. “But he will not be the last! We’re next - we all end up scrapped eventually!”
The lights began to flicker on above you. You watched for the first time as Moon’s entire body was illuminated briefly. The lights on his clothes went dark, replaced by Sun’s striped pants. Moon looked up, apparently shocked, before he shook his head.
“Time’s up,” he hissed, pointing to you. “Have fun in the Sun…~”
The lights completely came back on, and you watched as Moon stood stock-still, the hat falling into his waiting hands. The rays of Sun’s head came back out and his eyes switched back to their welcoming white.
He blinked, looking down at the hat before finally noticing you.
“AGH!” He exclaimed, hurriedly kneeling down beside you. “Are you okay, friend?! Did-- did I hurt you?!”
“Quite the opposite,” you grunted, attempting to bring your knees together as your cheeks flushed. You felt way too exposed for this adorable robot to see.
“O- oh, I see…” His voice sounded a little lower than usual, curiosity and desire buried deep within. “Do… do you want help…?”
“Please,” you threw your head back to try and look at him with pleading eyes.
“Sure! I can help…” his hands gently went to your hips, marveling at your soft skin. “I can… help… ”
His warm hands trailed down to your knees, cupping them and stroking your skin. “Wow,” he murmured in amazement. “So soft… so pretty…”
“S- Sun?” You squirmed on the ground, yet you couldn’t see what he was doing.
“I forgot how soft and warm adults could be,” he breathed. His energetic façade was gone. “You’re even softer than I thought you were before.”
You bit back a whimper as he ghosted his fingertips across the back of your thigh, right down to your wet lips. His thumb brushed down your slit before parting you open, and you could feel his stare burning into you as he pulled you apart with his other thumb.
“Such a pretty pink,” he praised as he studied your blushing folds. “I really, really like you, (y/n)...” His voice dropped an octave. “Do you like me?”
You gasped sharply as he sank a finger into you. You were still wet from your orgasm and the sucking noises that rose from your pussy made you flush a darker red from embarrassment.
“You’re tight,” he said in delight. “Just like before, you’re pulling me in! You must really like me!”
“Please, Sunny, please,” you begged, trying to thrust your hips back onto his finger.
“Patience, patience!” He chirped, and one of his hands left you as you heard him rustling around in his pocket. “Aha!”
You were about to question what it was he found, but froze when you felt something big against you. They did not.
“I found this in your bag earlier! I didn’t know what it was, but Freddy was very helpful in telling me!” You could hear the smile in his voice as he prodded your lips with a phallic object. “Let’s play another game, buttercup~”
You relaxed somewhat. Thank God. That’s just my dildo.
Then you frowned. Wait. That’s the line? They’re fine with giving every other animatronic in here a dick, but they draw the line at the damned daycare guy?  You paused.  Actually, no, that one’s fair.
You were broken from your thoughts by him slipping the head inside - and you moaned loudly.
“My, my, my!” He laughed, before leaning in with a teasing voice, “Someone’s being naughty~”
He held you down, hands sneaking around to grope at your chest, and you felt him shallowly thrust into you, the toy inching forward into your tight heat.
Soft whimpering escaped you as he pressed his front to your back, the buttons of his clothing digging into you through your sweater.
“Hey, hey, (y/n),” Sun whispered. “Do you wanna know something?”
You barely managed a soft “Mm?”
“I really like you,” he giggled. “I’m so happy you came to the daycare. You’re so much fun to play with!”
You immediately caught on to the sultry double-meaning of his words when he thrust his hips all the way in, smacking against your bare ass. Your mouth dropped open in a pleasured cry as the toy filled you just the way you liked.
“That’s it!” He encouraged, squeezing your chest. “How loud can I make you yell, hmm?~”
Without warning, he began pistoning himself back and forth. Wet smacking sounds filled the daycare along with your loud moans as he aimed randomly, hoping to hit the right spot.
A few thrusts in, he found it, and when your pussy clamped down on him he gasped in delight. “Now I can really make you dance!”
Your eyes rolled back into your head as he began grinding into your g-spot, fireworks exploding in your brain. Each wet ‘squish squish squish’ from your cunt sent sparks of pleasure right to the core, building your bonfire of desire deep in the pit of your belly.
Heat roiled and licked at your insides as you arched against him, attempting to meet his thrusts with your own as you feebly attempted to make your body work against your restraints.
“You’re being so good,” he praised, nuzzling your cheek with his face. “C’mon, cum for me! I know you want to!”
You quivered and shook, your body overheating as you felt the coil of arousal within you twist and twist and twist…
…until it snapped and a wave of euphoria washed over your exhausted body. With another loud cry, you came again, Sun’s encouraging voice egging you on until you were utterly spent.
He watched over you until you fell limp again, pressing his face to your cheek and praising you.
“Such a good girl,” he cooed, as he finally untied your numb arms and legs. “I hope I didn’t wear you out too much, we still have so many games to play together!”
Your legs flopped onto the ground with a weak moan, your own fluids dripping down your legs as he picked you up.
Supporting your back and hooking an arm under your knees, he carried you out of the arena and up to his room.
As he settled you down onto the blankets and pillows of the little cavern inside, he settled you down into his lap and spread your legs apart, your strap-on dildo resting against your lower back.
“So pretty,” he cooed, stroking your thighs before reaching down and stroking your blushing lips with his thumb. When you jolted in his hug, he giggled. “So sensitive! Did we play a little too hard?”
“Mmmah,” you moaned, your head lolling against his shoulder.
“I’ll have to take care of you now,” his voice grew more tender as his thumb sank inside. “Ooh, you feel so nice inside…”
“Suh-- Sun…”
“Mmh, Sunshine,” his voice dropped into a husky tone that sounded eerily similar to Moon’s, but less raspy and demented. “I know you’ve been playing adult games with the others…”
He took out his thumb and added another two fingers, curling them and thrusting them up. “Freddy was only one… but Roxanne, Monty, Chica… I’ve seen them all use you.”
He whispered into your ear as he pressed a thumb to your clit, “You’re really naughty, aren’t you?”
You keened, melting into his embrace as that little bundle of nerves sent shocks through your system.
“But that’s okay,” Sun continued to speak lowly into your ear, “because you’re with me now. I’ll take care of you here. We’ll play so many fun games together! Wouldn’t you like to stay?”
You couldn’t think, and you couldn’t force your tongue to move. All you could do was moan and writhe as he worked you to his own ends.
Sun giggled again, nuzzling your cheek with his. “You feel so good in here… your hole is just sucking me in!”
You began dribbling down your thigh, and once the droplets hit his pants, he teased, “Messy, messy, you’re making a mess~ I need to clean you up~”
Your back arched, your teeth grit together, at one particular press against your clit. Your body spasmed and you cried as your pussy once more gripped his fingers like a vice. Sun cooed happily as he led you into your third orgasm.
“Good, good girl,” he sighed happily. “I love playing with you, (y/n)!”
Your vision was fading with your exhaustion, and as Sun cupped your cheek with one hand before plunging the other back into your pussy, you thought you heard someone else’s voice before you blacked out…
I had to get this one out in case the DLC mysteriously dropped out of nowhere! (ʘᗩʘ’)
I absolutely love this AU so much! I am telling you rn that when I first read this I couldn't stop thinking about it and i was so sad that it was never expanded! So I ended up drawing a small comic (this is like my first time doing something like this so sorry if its messy! ) and that was supposed to be it but I ended up writing a short fic as well (⌒_⌒;) Btw this is just my spin on things so sorry if I made any errors!
"Irreparable," the company claimed. It made no sense to Sun and Moon. From what they know the incident occurred the night an unexpected visitor came by. On the morning management came in, they were met with their main star missing, busted animatronics, and a disheveled mall. To think that the boy they met that fateful night caused all this was… strange, to say the least. At least they were perfectly fine! Yeah, they had a bit of trouble avoiding the flames resulting in slight damage but they were working! With a few repairs and replacements, everything would be right as rain! However, that didn't stop Fazbear Mall from permanently shutting its doors.
Even after conversations they overheard between co-workers, workers leaving as soon as they arrived with salvaged valuables, and the final click of the lock shutting the doors permanently, Sun was in denial.
"They'll come back for us! We'll just have to wait till then!" Although Moon was still troubled by the events that night, he still held onto hope.
"Yes, yes you're right. In the meantime, we should clean up~"
"That's the spirit!" Sun cheered.
The first few months played out like this: waiting and cleaning up whatever they could in anticipation that the company or someone would return. However, those beliefs slowly slipped away with each passing month. Sun tried so hard to keep them distracted from their situation but it’s difficult when you wake up in the same hell every day. Nowadays when he tries to comfort Moon every word comes out unsteady. If only he could make them more believable.
Moon couldn't handle it. It was all his fault. If he'd just fought back none of this would have happened. But how could you fight against something you didn’t know was coming? The night he became corrupted haunted him endlessly. It didn’t help that they also became more beat-up after several failed escapes he made. Though he was grateful for his brother's support, it felt more like lies and empty promises as time passed. Failure after failure, shame, and guilt built up. It was always at his lowest when he felt the same corrupt urges he had that fateful night back.
"SHUT IT! JUST SHUT IT! IT'S THE SAME THING EVERY SINGLE DAY! NO ONE IS COMING FOR US!!"
"...sorry" Sun whimpered.
It was always too late by the time he snapped back to his senses. It was like he was stuck in an endless loop of mistakes. All he could do was apologize and blame himself again.
With no business and no people to tend to days have been spent pacing and cleaning the decrepit daycare. Today was no different. Sun wiped his hands in the desk cabinet causing thick layers of dust to fly in every direction. Every item out of place has already been put back in its original spot long ago. All there was left was the tedious task of wiping away dust.
Moon never understood why he was so keen on getting into the smallest crevices. He couldn’t deny he had his fastidious tendencies but Sun always went above him. He always claimed it was a good way to pass time but Moon knew better. Even with the new body allowing both of them to be present at once Sun still was never the biggest fan of shutting down for long periods. Normally, Moon would push him into resting but Sun seemed to be in a better mood today and he didn't want to disturb him.
The crash of crumbling rubble made them jump from their spot. It was loud enough to hear across the daycare. Their eyes were drawn to the ceiling and they noticed a huge hole. Sun frowned. Was the building finally caving down?
"Must've been a rat"
"whAT?-" Sun choked out.
"What do you mean by a rat? A rat does not cause a hole in the ceiling to collapse!" Moon's only response was a shrug. From where they were it looked like it was around the ball pit area.
"Let’s check it to see-"
"NO"
"WhaT WHy?" Sun’s voice glitched from surprise. He didn’t expect such a sudden response.
"Because it's most likely nothing. The building is just deteriorating again…" He stated plain and simple.
"Well yes but-” Sun paused for a moment, “B-but we may as well check to make sure nothing is wrong!" Moon didn't respond. It’s going to be nothing again and he really wasn’t up for disappointment. Knowing Sun, they were bound to end up there regardless.
"Okay," he grumbled. Moon could feel Sun slightly bounce up. He sighed as they walked around the desk and towards the ball pit. As they continue their journey, Sun can sense Moon slowing down.
"Moon, what's wrong?-"
"Shhh listen" Sun paused. He didn't know what he was trying to listen to but he did so anyway. There was something in the distance. Were those… footsteps? The bots trudged closer to the sound quietly. For the first time in ages, their sensors picked up someone.
┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈♡┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈
"Dammit..."
This was your fifth time wiping your clothes off debris. You knew buildings like this had weak floors but you didn't expect it to give in that easily! You would say you’ve been through worse but you’ve never been through something like this. You’re honestly not sure if watching Youtube videos of failed urban exploring counts as an experience.
This was supposed to be your biggest project yet. Entering the abandoned Pizzaplex had been done before but nobody had ever explored past the ground floor. You had one goal: Record as much exploration as your camera storage will allow, upload all footage to your channel, and satisfy the hungry viewers with the possibility of getting that sweet YouTube money. What you hadn’t anticipated was falling through the floor and being trapped in one of the areas 30 minutes into your exploration. Now you have to find a way out.
 You looked back at the ball pit and shuddered, thinking of what might have happened if it hadn't stopped your fall. Walking over the chipped rainbow bridge you pulled out your flashlight and observed what was in front of you. You had to admit the place didn’t age as badly as you thought! It has its flaws from the fire but you were surprised by how much stuff still survived.
The bright cheery colors that once painted this daycare have dulled to darker hues. Somehow the kid's chairs were neatly pushed into the tables and toy barrels were still stacked on top of each other. You looked over the massive play structure. They were still standing strong and tall beside some large dark spots in some areas which you assumed was also caused by the fire. A few of the giant mascot cutouts were hanging on the sides while others that had fallen were carefully propped up against the walls. When you shined your light on one of the aisles, the light didn't reach much distance.
"Geez this place is huge..."
You took a few steps before hearing a scuffle. For a second, you assumed it was some small animal. At least that's what you hoped it was. You were about to turn back when you heard it again. You whipped your flashlight in the sound’s direction.
"Hello!?" You kinda cringed at how hoarse your voice came out. You darted your flashlight for a bit until you caught it. You froze. How long was it standing there? You pointed your light at the animatronic.
Even from a distance, you could tell how huge the animatronic were. A split separated the two sides, which gave the appearance of two heads. Among them, one half had dark yellow skin and a crown that resembled rays from the sun, while the other half had darker blue skin with a nightcap resembling a moon. Each had two pairs of arms. Their clothes or at least what remained of them were tattered. Parts of their endoskeleton are exposed most noticeably on their face. Their glowing eyes pierced your soul. What felt like hours of silence were finally broken when their soft chuckles turned into hysterical laughter.
"NEW FRIEND!!"
"NOPE! NOPE! NOPE! NOPE!" You bolted in the opposite direction of the playground. As you ran you tried dodging as much debris as you could without falling over. As you approached the wall you could see large wooden doors. That's the exit! You weren't able to slow down your speed in time causing you to slam your arm against the door. Thanks to your adrenaline pumping you couldn't feel a thing. You tried pulling open the door only to hear clicking noises. IT’S FUCKING LOCKED!!!
“New friend!”
“New friend~”
“New friend!”
Their calls were growing closer.
You looked around until you crawled into one of the kiddie slides. You climbed your way up, lying flat on your stomach. You were pretty high up. There was no way they could see you as long as you didn't lean against the bars. The metal grating grows louder as the robot approaches where you once stood.
"N-new friend please cOME BaCK!!" He wailed in distress like a mother trying to find her lost infant.
“Shhh you’re going to scare them~” You gritted your teeth. Yeah, like they hadn’t scared you to death already. Unlike the other voice, this one was hushed and calm. As if it was a situation he knew all too well. The other voice gasped and quietly apologized.
"Where are you, new friend?~" There was intense silence. They let out what sounded like a disgruntled sigh before the scraping faded away. Once you were sure they were gone you took a breath of relief. You didn't realize you were holding your breath the whole time. Your heartbeat was so loud you were afraid they would hear it. 'What even was that…?' You tried to recollect your thoughts. Everything happened so fast that you couldn't comprehend what was happening. When you tried thinking back about what happened all your mind could replay was the moment you stared into their ghostly irises.
'Okay, that's enough…’ You sat up. Another deep breath calmed your heart. There has to be another way out of here. You peer through the cage. From your vantage point, you couldn’t get much. There were only two things you could see from where you were: the front desk and the children's pit in front of it. You had to get a better view but how? You sure as hell wasn’t about to sneak down again. You looked towards the bridge connecting the two playgrounds. Despite its aging, it still looked sturdy enough to cross. Maybe this was your chance? You didn’t want to risk getting caught but you also didn’t want to die either. Well, there's only one way to find out…
A small knock made you recoil back. You turned your head to the slide you came from. No. There’s no way they could get in here. With how big and clunky the animatronic look, they’d probably fall apart the moment you hit them.
Upon getting up, you were met with jelly legs. You're gonna have to crawl this one out. You navigated carefully through the colorful maze. The number of dead ends you ran into got ridiculous. Sometimes you felt like you were crawling in circles until you finally found it. You silently cheered for yourself. The bridge was only a turn away!
Something wrapped around your ankle before you took another step. Your head spins to see several pairs of hands gripping your ankle. You couldn't scream before those hands brutally dragged your body down the slide. The suddenness of it all caused your head to bang against a turn. You hit the floor with a loud thud holding your head. All you could do was lay limp on the foam flooring. What even happened? You could feel your head throbbing from the pain. A giant shadow loomed over your figure. Rough, metal arms wrap themselves around you in a cold embrace.
“Found you, friend, ~” The two laughed together making a strange combination of a cackle and a giggle. You wish you could fight back but you feel so nauseous and weak. All you could do was stand there awkwardly as you got crushed. Dread overwhelms your body.
“We were so worried about you, friend! You shouldn’t run away like that! I-I mean what if you got lost or h-URT!?” Their grasp on you was tightened as he spoke. The voice coming from what you assumed was the sun’s side made you tense up. His voice made your ears start ringing. Was he always this panicky?
“Now, now there’s no need for that anymore.” His hand cupped your cheek tilting it so you could face them.
“It won’t happen again~” The drop in his voice made it sound like a death threat.
“Besides-" He resumed back to himself.
"Think of all the fun we'll have together~!” Sun’s eyes lit up.
“Oh, you’re right! We have so many activities we could do now that we’re together!” They easily pull you up and swing your body around.
“We’ll have soooooo much fun~!” Moon chuckled
“We could play charades!”
“And tell stories~!”
“Oh oh, we could finger paint too! I haven’t done that in so long!!” The two exchanged enthusiastic opinions about everything they planned.
You honestly felt like you would puke. It was too loud. Your head was throbbed and your whole body was aching. Everything felt so overwhelming. You didn’t care about exploring anymore, you just wanted to go back to the comfort of your home. You tried holding back the tears brimming in your eyes. The robots tensed when they heard soft hiccups. Hot tears rolled down your cheeks. Your body was lowered, bringing you closer together. Moon’s eyes widened while Sun’s eyelids drooped when they realized you were crying.
“Friend, what's wrong?” Your cry turned into a full-blown sob. Sun and Moon quickly sat down. Laying you on their lap, they gently rocked you back and forth with their arms propping you up. Your sobbing could be heard throughout the whole daycare all the while Sun and Moon tried calming you down. They rubbed circles around your back whispering reassurances.
“It’s alright~”
“You’re safe now!”
“There’s no need to cry~” Their hands whipped your tears away. Your body becomes less tense.
“Did we do this?” You opened your eyes realizing they were looking at your head. Their concern was evident. You flinched when their fingers grazed the area you hit.
“Oh sorry! I-I-I didn't meAn tO do THat! WE-”
“Sun.” Moon interrupted
“We can fix this. As long as we follow instructed procedures they will be fine~”
“Oh right right! Sorry about that, friend” You could feel their fingers tenderly stroking your hair. They cradled your body while whispering soothing words.
You could’ve easily pushed them away and made a run for them, but you didn’t have the motivation to do so. You were beyond tired to fight back. It was getting harder to hold up heavy eyelids and the animatronic also seemed to realize this.
“Shhh rest~ You will feel better after a good sleep~” You had to admit their voice was comforting. This couldn’t be so bad right? They seemed nice enough. So it was okay to shut your eyes for a bit. You lifted your eyes one more time to see theirs. If only you were more awake you would’ve caught their lovesickness plastered on their faces gazing at you. Maybe then you’d realized sooner the situation you were now trapped in. You felt two soft taps on your forehead, mocking a kiss before slipping into darkness.
“Goodnight, Starlight~”
“Goodnight, Sunshine!”
SIDE NOTE: This is like the aftermath of "The Worst Part of Him"
Tumblr media
He should have been more careful. He should have followed his guts. He should have been more strict with him. He should have made him wait for a little longer-or better yet, forbid him from meeting you.
If he had done all of that, you would still be alive, in his arms, smiling up at him, greeting him a Goodmorning like the usual.
But instead of that, it's your fresh corpse laying in his arms. Your lifeless eyes staring at him. Face and body, covered with cuts and bruises. Your limbs twisted so badly it made him choke on a sob.
He doesn't know what to do. He can't think of anything else besides cradling you in his arms, apologizing, crying, begging for you to come back.
He kept repeating it in a cycle. Like a broken record, he kept jumping on his words then and there.
"I'm sorry, so so sorry.."
"Didn't mean to, didn't meantohappen- wasn't suppose to happen.."
"Please, I'm sorry!.. I should've- I didn't mean to- to leave yo- leave you with ḧ̸̺̫͔́̈́i̸̪͓͎͒̀̈́m̵̡̠͉̓͐͘!̵̡̺͓̀͑͝"
"I'm sorry, i'm sorry!- please- please come back.."
He should have known, he should have known that the virus wasn't completely gone. He shouldn't have believed his other half.
The longer he looks at you, the thought of you not being in his life began to flood in his mind. Not being able to see you, your smile, your laughter, your touch.. it's all too painful for him.
His hold on you becomes tighter, becoming more hysterical. It's not fair! Notfairnotfairn̸̢͎̠̓̕͠o̵̻̪͆̀͑͜t̴̡͖͓̽̽̔f̴͖͓̈́͐̚a̵͔̺̝̽͋̈́i̸͉̼̺̿͛̕r̴̢̞̫͌͛͘ n̸̡̙͎͊͋̽ o̵̫̪̺̐͆͌t̴̢̢͍̓͝ f̴̞̫̞́̕a̸̦̺͉̐͋͆i̸̺̪̝͐͒ r̸̡͓͕͌͠͝!̴͖̙̒͝͝  He's been good, he's been so so good! He did everything right, everything to make you safe and happy, did everything to keep you in harm's way!
And yet he. He ruined  ë̸̪͙̠́̀͋v̵̦͉̘͋͌͑ e̴͍͇̝̾͊̚r̸̘͎̞̈́͐͌ÿ̵͎̻́̈́́ ẗ̴̙̝̠́̔͝h̸͚̝͉͛̚͠ i̵̪͎͓͒͑n̴͕͓͕͐̔̔g̸̢̙͖̽͆̈́..̴͉̪̓̒͘
Of course it's him, it's always him! He's the one who acts recklessly and yet, he's the one who isn't suffering the consequences of his actions!...it's always been like that..
With no other left to do, he only rocked your lifeless body back and forth.. Silently waiting for his own death to come, or maybe hoping that you would wake up from your deep slumber..
And Here You Were~
A Sun and Moon x Reader (oneshot? series? drabble? I don't know yet)
AO3 Link
Tumblr media
What would happen if the cheery and innocent daycare attendant at the Megaplex grew attached to one person in particular? Would it become overly protective? Neglectful of the daycare duties? Is the animatronic capable of jealousy? Love? Hate?
Well, you should know. You are the one they've got their eyes on, after all...
*****
We remember the first day you showed up. It was a Tuesday, and you were terrified. Your little denim overalls and rainbow-striped shirt were a sight we never tired of seeing - it made you fit in perfectly with the colorful theme of the daycare.
"She's got some anxiety, and she is not to be excluded from naptime for any reason. She gets cranky without her naps and will just cry and cry and nobody can calm her down and-"
"Yes, yes, okay, ma'am. Trust us, we're all more than qualified to handle your little superstar while you're away. Isn't that right Sun?" the human daycare attendant pined, trying to calm your anxious mother. She looked a mess with her hastily thrown on baggy clothes and dark circles under her eyes. Her hair was up in a lazy bun, tangled as all hell, and her lips were dry and cracked. She was going through something. We pieced together through little snippets of conversation from you later on that your parents were going through a divorce, and she was fighting for custody while still trying to keep up with her demanding job. She was a strong and independent woman, so having to bring you to childcare made her feel like a failure. But she wasn't.
"Yes, of course!" Sun replied cheerily. He bounded towards your mother with excited energy - enough that it  absolutely terrified you and sent you into a screaming flurry of tears. Sun's rays shrank back into his head slightly and he apologized immediately. The human daycare attendant rolled their eyes and grabbed you anyways, while your mother reached into her bag and pulled out a few different prescriptions. Sun mentally logged everything you were supposed to take - anxiety medication with your lunch if you were still not interacting, nausea medicine if you complained of a stomachache after eating, and doctor-ordered melatonin to help put you down for naptime if you weren't sleeping.
Great, another helicopter mother, Moon said inside of Sun's head. They had done that for as long as they could remember. It was how the two communicated with each other when one of them had control and the other was stuck watching on from inside. But Sun ignored his brother this time, not wanting to miss a single thing your mom was saying.
The human attendant nodded nonetheless at your mom, taking the labeled freezer bag with the orange bottles and placing it behind the front desk to be logged momentarily. "I promise, ma'am, we will look after your little superstar well, and she'll fit in just fine. Isn't that right, Y/N?" they asked you, who was finally calming down from your screaming fit. Now you were staring at Sun with wide eyes, fearful but curious.
Over the next few months, you had grown to adore the daycare. Once you opened up, you got along well with all the other kids. Your personality began to shine through, and you seemed like the perfect child. You were a great problem solver, friends with everyone, and creative when it came to literally everything. The other children in the daycare always wanted to play with you, and you always made time for all of them. If there was an issue between your friends, you would help resolve it before Sun even had the chance to make it over to you. You never broke the rules, used your manners, and somehow encouraged every other kid to follow in your leadership.
But our favorite part about you was how you never seemed to treat the two of us as one in the same. We still remember the day you dragged most of the kids to the craft corner and encouraged everyone to draw cards for Moon. When asked why by your curious classmates, you would respond with "Because he never gets as many gifts as Sun, and I think that probably makes him sad."
You grew up with the daycare, and a year turned into two and then three.
But one day - a Monday, we believe - your mother came to drop you off, and abruptly told the human on shift that it would be your last day. She looked disheveled and even more tired than usual. Her eyes were red - she had been crying. You weren't your usual self that day, either. You were whiny and reserved, hiding away in the quiet corner. You refused to play with anyone, making excuses each time one of the other children tried to get you involved. You even refused to eat, and wouldn't sleep at naptime.
It was during that last naptime that Moon had taken you away from the other kids to try to understand what was happening. Sitting in one of the castle towers next to the ball pit, he finally asked you the burning question on our mind.
"Starlight, what ever is the matter? Sun tells me you haven't eaten or played at all today," he said with a softness he seemed to reserve only for you. You were clinging to one of the half-moon pillows with so much force for your little body, it made Moon worried immediately. You only shook your head as tears formed in the corners of your eyes.
We never did find out why you weren't returning.
The daycare wasn't the same after you had left. The children fought, naptime was difficult, and Moon seemed to fade from the little superstars' minds as if he was never important. But we pushed through nonetheless. We never forgot about you. We kept your drawings up on our wall in our room and would look at them any time we were feeling down. The sadness faded from a relentless pain to a dull ache after a year. And soon, we didn't really think about you much. Other kids came and went, and we just moved on.
Or so we thought we had.
We were informed that some things were changing about the daycare, about Moon, and about the Megaplex in general. We were forced to go to Parts and Service daily for about a month, having new programs put into our coding. After the month (and many refusals to answer our questions), we were told Moon was to patrol the Megaplex at night. We were asked several test questions by Vanessa, the new head of security, to make sure the programs were working properly.
"Okay, and what do you do if there's a code blue?" she asked.
"Seek out any head personnel and get them to safety before dealing with the intruder or intruders," Moon responded, crossing his arms. "Now can you please tell me why we're doing this?" he asked for the hundredth time. And once again, Vanessa ignored him, writing something on her clipboard.
"Okay, that's it, now follow me," she said, setting the clipboard down and leading Moon out of the P&S room. He did as he was told, not because he wanted to, but because that was part of the new programming. Unless going against direct protocol, the brothers were no longer allowed to do as they pleased. If given a direct order from security personnel, they were forced to follow it.
Where do you think she's taking us? Sun asked his brother, unbeknownst to the blonde. Moon shrugged, blinking his new eyes rather rapidly as he struggled to get used to the several new overlays he now had. He could see where each of the glamrock animatronics were, Vanessa's (or anybody's) level of clearance, and even call his wire out in the rest of the megaplex now.
Vanessa led them up to the atrium and around a corner to another woman sitting nervously in one of the cushioned seats for families to take breaks on. She also wore a security guard outfit, but she didn't have the same clearance as Vanessa. In fact, she seemed to have very little clearance, Moon could see, due to the new overlay. Sun gasped loudly inside their shared mind, making Moon flinch. What?! the blue animatronic hissed back.
Sun didn't reply, and Moon made an irritated noise. Vanessa was talking to the other security guard, when she finally turned to him and smiled. "Apparently you two have met before," she said, gesturing towards you, who stood up but kept your eyes to the floor. Something tugged at the back of Moon's mind as Sun tried to bring up a memory file. But he didn't need to. You looked up and locked eyes with them, nervousness written all over your face.
For years the brothers daydreamed of seeing you again. For years they sat in their room and wondered what happened to you. For years they waited patiently, hoping that by some miracle, you would be brought back to them again.
And here you were.
REQUESTS ARE STILL OPEN
You sighed, making your way over to the daycare, wheeling over your massive cart as your heart filled with dread.
The daycare was not your favorite place to clean in the Pizzaplex, namely because once you think you finished cleaning one thing, another thing always pops up. Oh,you finally scrubbed out the blood an injured kid dripped onto the mat? Guess what, there’s a new crayon mess you somehow missed! Oh, you finished cleaning off the crayons? One kid found a sharpie and drew inside the slide, guess like you have to clean that up!
These kids were always so messy, and it was moments like this that made you wish that there was another person working with you, as much as you hated working with other people.
You made your way into the daycare, which was just as messy as it normally is, only this time something else was there.
The Daycare Attendant, the Sun.
He was picking up the mess that the children made before the daycare closed. He noticed you walk in and gave you a wide and excited wave.
"Hello, Sunbeam!" He said, "I’m helping you pick up!"
Sunbeam was Sun's nickname for you. He bounded his way over to you, dumping some trash into the nearby bin and soon after wrapped his arms around you in a warm embrace.
You, in turn, hugged him back. He was a solace after a long day, and usually he’d spend his time trying to entertain you.
Yet today seemed… different. He was acting strange the past month, acting more protective of you. He's also been asking more personal questions about you.
Today was different, after cleaning up the mess that the children made he simply wrapped himself around you and hugged you once again.
"Sunbeam, why do you leave every night?" asked Sun.
"I have a home to go to," you answered, "I have to pay bills, pay rent, pay taxes… I have to do a lot of stuff, it’s the responsibility of living,"
Sun didn't look so pleased.
"But those are all bad things!" Sun said, "Don't you want to stay here and play forever?"
You were silent for a bit, Sun anticipating your answer.
"…No,"
Sun was silent, but you spoke again.
"I don’t mean that… I dislike you, quite the opposite, but… I have friends outside, and I have a life to live,"
"What could be more important than your very special best friend?" Sun asked.
"My family? Family's important," you responded.
Sun didn't respond, but didn't let go. You snuggled into him, to help make up for you not staying with him forever, yet he still didn't let go.
"Uh… Sun?" you asked, "Can you let go?"
"No," Sun said, chillingly.
Your stomach dropped. He was serious about you staying with him forever. You quickly wormed your way out of Sun's grasp and made your way over to the exit, but Sun was surprisingly agile and was faster than you, blocking the door with his body.
"I didn't want to do this, Sunbeam," Sun said, before reaching for the light-switch and turning the lights off.
You took out your flashlight and aimed it at the door, only to find Sun wasn't there… there was nothing between you and the door.
You ran over and grabbed the doorknob, but a pair of hands wrapped around you.
"It's nice to meet you, Starlight~," a deep voice says into your ear. You snapped your head to find that the Sun was replaced with a similar animatronic, one that represented the moon.
"Moon?" you hesitantly asked, to which the attendant nodded.
"Let's not stay up any longer~," Moon said, "You'd be naughty if you stayed up past your bedtime, and I don't want to punish you, Starlight~,"
Moon effortlessly picked you up and brought you into the rear of the play area, where a small tent was set up. His red eyes bore into you as you both entered the tent.
He set you down on a pile of blankets, taking a spot next to you and snuggling into you.
"Good night, Starlight~…" Moon cooed.
You were exhausted, and while you did try to put up a fight, exhaustion kicked in and you fell asleep in his comfortable arms.
