Puzzleshpping in canon oneshot
been doing WAY to much dnf so i wanted to do a puzzle foic for all my lovely puzzle fans <3
I sat at my desk lost in thought, the warm golden light from the desk lamp filling the room with a soft, comforting glow. I couldn't help but think about the profound words that the spirit of the puzzle had spoken to me just a few days ago. "I don't care if I never find my memories. I want to be with you forever." Those words had struck a chord deep inside me, igniting a spark of warmth and affection that I couldn't ignore.
As I tried to push those feelings aside, I couldn't help but feel like something had changed inside me. It was as if a veil had been lifted, revealing a new layer of emotion that I had never felt before. I sighed softly, trying to clear my mind before any of those feelings could slip through our shared mind link. But it was no use. The spirit appeared before me, his deep crimson eyes meeting mine with a gaze that was both piercing and comforting.
"Are you okay, Aibou?" he asked, his voice filled with a tenderness that made my heart skip a beat. I tried to put up a facade, but deep down, I knew that I wasn't okay. Something had shifted inside me, and I didn't know how to deal with it.
"Nothing's wrong. I'm just..." I trailed off, unsure of how to express the complex emotions that were swirling inside me. How could I tell him that I was starting to fall in love with him? It could ruin the bond we had created, which was as fragile as a butterfly's wings.
"It's okay, Aibou. You can tell me anything that's on your mind," he said, his voice warm and reassuring, making me feel safe.
"I've been feeling differently towards someone I know," I said, trying my best to keep it vague. A small smile spread across his face, and I could feel my heart racing.
"Tell me more. Do you know how you feel towards this person?" he asked, giving me an opportunity to express my feelings without revealing that they were for him.
"I don't know, really. Whenever I'm around this person, I can't help but smile. Their eyes are like two shining rubies that I could get lost in for hours. And when they call me by my nickname, my heart flutters, like it's meant for me and me alone," I said, feeling a blush creeping up my face.
He chuckled softly, and a gentle warmth spread through my chest. "It sounds like you have a crush on this person, Aibou," he teased, making me blush even more, knowing that I was crushing on my best friend and Yami.
"Well, since you told me, I might as well tell you this," he said, leaning closer to me, his eyes locking onto mine. It was as if time had slowed down, and I could feel my heart racing as I waited for him to speak. "I love you more than anything in the world, Aibou. You're my hikari, my aibou," he said, his voice low and husky, sending shivers down my spine.
I was speechless. Did he just confess his love to me? "Yami, you love me?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper, feeling unsure about what he had just said.
"More than anything in the world, Aibou. You're my hikari," he said, his eyes locked onto mine, his gaze intense and unwavering.
Tears of joy welled up in my eyes as I threw my arms around him, hugging him tightly. "I love you too, mou hitori no boku. You're the one I've loved for a long time," I said, looking into his crimson eyes, feeling my heart bursting with love and joy.
"I love you more, Aibou," he said, leaning in to kiss my cheek as we cuddled under the stars, falling asleep in each other's arms.
The End.
