*I emerge from scrolling tags to avoid writing an essay about learning styles, staring madly and with my hair torn out of my head*
okay so btw, Phil is the top requested QSMP character for the exchanges I run, usually followed by Chayanne (and then spiderbit/parrot duo, usually only like one or two votes behind).
Pissa is the 7th most popular QSMP ship, with 299 fics of this writing, and Phil & Chayanne is the 10th most popular ship, with 265 fics. Phil is the single most popular QSMP character on Ao3, tagged in 2,354 fics.
Speaking as someone who regularly goes into both the Phil and the Etoiles tags to queue art, Phil has tons of awesome art. People liveblog his lore streams. I personally saw the Cellbit discord doing a primer on his hardcore lore the other day because someone had the theory that it was going to be applicable to general QSMP lore. If I see a cool moment on stream, I can open up the tag six hours later and there's art of it.
Do you know how many fandoms would absolutely kill for that?
Phil is not sidelined by the fandom. He is doing FINE. That is the opposite of the problem we are having, we are having the problem where Phil is popular enough that people show up to other people's lore like "let me make this about my guy" and I scream and claw my face and apologize for them. We are having the problem where while MOST people in the tag are well behaved, just by laws of percentages, even a very small portion of the fandom acting badly makes fans of other characters clutch their blorbos to their chest and mutter darkly about "phil fans".
It might seem a little less if you're used to DSMP at its peak, but I assure you, DSMP at its peak was a megafandom. We are a healthy midsized-to-large fandoms and Phil is one of the big characters. I promise you.
Let me put this in DSMP terms. Phil crows? We are the inniters of QSMP. We are doing FINE. I assure you. Trust me.
Do I agree with the characterization everyone is bringing to the table for my blorbo? No. Popular characters get misrepresented. Is every fic in the tag a masterpiece? No. Baby writers get to have fun too. Do I sometimes go "aw I'd love to see more art of phil and [x] because I love their dynamic"? Yes. The nature of being human is to want more of your blorbo and for your takes about your blorbo to reign supreme.
But if you were kind of going "I want to see more of my blorbo :(" and thinking that represented that the fandom was not paying attention to the blorbo, I assure you, I've run the numbers, Phil is not being sidelined.

Alright, my lovely people. I’d like to give a little rundown of what a labor union is and what protections it provides for workers because I think that it’s context that’s important to the current situation. Please bear in mind that I am by no means an expert. I am drawing on my research and my own experience being in a union at a previous job to write this post. Please feel free to reblog with anything I’ve missed.
What is a union?
A union is a group of workers who have banded together in order to use their collective strength and voices to make a difference in their workplace. Many unions were formed due to dissatisfaction with exploitative or unsafe working conditions (look up Appalachian coal miners if you want to see an example).
What do unions do?
Unions are there to act on behalf of their workers; their entire purpose is to ensure that their members (and, often by extension, non-members) receive fair wages, proper breaks, safe working conditions, and many other benefits. They are made by and for workers.
What do unions NOT do?
Unions do NOT exist to break up companies. Unions are there to ensure that workers are treated fairly. Union leaders will first do everything in their power to obtain better working conditions by negotiating with the company on the behalf of the employees. Shutting down a business because of poor labor conditions will never be a union’s priority; they will ALWAYS be on the side of the labor force. The union may take the company to court and the company might later collapse as a result of that (whether because of court fees, public backlash, or other reasons) but the goal is to preserve the workers’ jobs while also making sure that the workers are treated fairly.
What does this mean for qsmp?
I don’t know. Do I think there are major problems? Yes, absolutely. Do I think that Quackity is working to address these problems? Again, yes. Do I-or anyone else for that matter-know what those solutions are or what they may look like? No, we do not!! I cannot see into the future; neither can Twitter. We need to have patience and understanding as we all wait to see what comes next.
I’ve seen a lot of doomposting here. I’ve seen a lot of anxiety and stress. If that’s where your mind is at, you might need to take a break from the internet for a bit; god knows I might. This situation isn’t going to be fixed by attacking the cc’s or the admins or anyone else who’s involved. That’s not our job; we’re only adding more negativity and stress to people who may already be at their limit.
Be kind. Be patient. Be a community. That’s what this server is all about, ultimately. It’s time to prove that. Hope this helps.

With the upcoming Fit lore later today, I figured it may be useful to transcribe his earlier lore drops for those of you who may not have been there, or want a refresher. These were attempts to contact the contractor to relay information, and happened before the dreams.

listen i have so many thoughts on the differences between the governing styles brought up by bad, baghera, and gegg in the qsmp debates today so just bear with me okay?
bad is my least favorite of the three. he seems to say numerous times that he wants to simply "get rid of the role of president" and that the government just isn't needed, so they don't need to have it. my problem with this is that the government ALREADY exists. the federation is the one putting on this election, and so by saying you'll just dismantle the role of president and give power to the people, without having any system of keeping power against the government, the federation would be able to simply say "okay we'll just do another election" or even just take easy and total control right there. so i dont think bad's approach would work in anything other than theory because the federation is too unpredictable to assume they would just go along with the idea of no longer having a president (not to mention, leaving the role empty could allow certain people like elquackity to take up the power of the role to "fill the void")
baghera's is my second favorite. her entire idea relies on the concept of a presidential council, with advocates from each language, to ensure that every member of the community is being advocated for. hers is probably the one that would work the best in theory. it allows members of the community to speak up for themselves, and be able to relay it to the federation, likely through baghera herself as she would be taking on the role of president, making her the one to bring the citizen's needs to the federation. the downfall of this plan is the likelihood of the federation to twist baghera's wants and needs, as well as promoting infighting among the council, same as we are seeing with the presidential election itself. this would keep people from trusting baghera, each other, and essentially worsen a lot of the relationships between members of the server because the federation does NOT want what is best for everyone as we've established.
now, gegg. gegg. my favorite approach. anarcho-community. gegg's main approach to the presidential platform is "the federation does not make us feel safe. we are all one (gegg). we need to come up against them as a collective, it is our only chance." gegg's platform heavily relies on the knowledge that the federation cannot be worked with because they are actively harming people already. gegg also knows that they cannot ignore the governing power that the federation has. gegg's concept for president is that all the members need to come together as a collective and not just use it to better create events or things like that, but rather to use the close proximity to the federation the presidential role has and use it to dismantle the system from the inside out. the concept of working with the federation leaves the citizens up for being used like a doormat because the federation would absolutely break the president and citizen's boundaries slowly and slowly over time in order to make the president the federation's puppet, and gegg absolutely knows this. gegg sees through the presidential election as a way to keep the server members from coming together as a collective and going after the federation, just as many members were starting to get more and more frustrated with how they've been treated by the federation. gegg wants to dismantle the systems of government so that bad and baghera's ideas can work because gegg knows that community is the strongest thing they have.

So I'm seeing a lot about the new developments from the Admin Situation, and a lot of people seem to be assuming the worst, which I don't think is necessary yet
If Quackity meant what he said, that he wants to make things right, and is actually working toward that, then there isn't anything to worry about, because a Union would be happy to hear that, and will actively help them reach that goal
The only reason Unions get involved is to help workers. Not to destroy a company. If a company goes down or loses money after a Union got involved, it is NOT the Union's fault. It is entirely on the company for letting it get to that point
And as of right now, I don't believe that that's going to happen here. Even the Whistleblower said that she WANTS to see the QSMP continue. If other Admins feel the same way, then they have at least enjoyed the experience they've had enough to still look back on it with some positivity. They just also want to be compensated fairly for their efforts, which is entirely reasonable. And I think the Union would understand all that as well
All this is doing is adding a bit more pressure to make sure things improve. And again, if Quackity MEANT what he said before about improving things, then there won't be a problem
Reminder that we aren't seeing what's happening behind the scenes. For all we know, right now, they could be having a discussion about this very thing and coming to an agreement as we speak. Assuming the worst won't help anyone, especially not the Admins who are so passionate about this project. All we should be doing right now is showing our support and waiting to see how things go
So until we get more details, don't make any assumptions, good or bad. We just need to wait and hope for the best
(I also wanna add that I saw someone post earlier that there might've been a bit of a translation error regarding the French Union's English statement. Apparently they used a term that translated to "Half-Hearted" but could have originally meant that Quackity didn't address every problem. Those two things have pretty different definitions, and if they're right, then it removes literally the only issue I had with the statement. Here's a link to the post explaining it, since I don't speak French and they explain it better than I do)

i think its CRAZY that lea basically shit talked richas for no reason, especially when it was common knowledge that at least at one point the pomme dapper and richas admins were really close????????? and richas was NEVER obligated to step away even if pomme and dapper did even if they were close friends, and from what we know of his irl situation, it is probably very different to the other admins! like, hasn't he literally said in the past he doesn't go out much because of his health issues and the qsmp was something he could do like a lot of the time because of it and he really enjoys it so like i dunno it makes sense to me that he would still wanna do it if at all possible????
and on the other end of the spectrum, do we even have confirmation his admin is still involved/wants to be? for all we know he's no longer on the project either and just didn't make a public statement (entirely valid) in which case what she said is just... really lame??? an admin who leaves isn't obligated to say anything about it, so there is literally 0 reason for people to speculate about any of the people who didn't make a public statement when theres an infinite amount of situations that could be going on the behind the scenes.
ricardao is chronically ill and said that the server was the only way he was making friends bc he cant really go out much. and on that i gotta say i hate how twt babies ricardão and puts all the blame of his health problems in the server. even the fact he only eats rice most of the time they said its qstudios fault for the play time when he fucking > said he had to have a restrictive diet bc of his sickness < (I think he said once he cant eat gluten so he might have celiac disease). its crazy how its either hate him or baby him
the only confirmation we got was Lea saying Richas wasnt in their server and also didnt leave QStudios bc he was loyal and had special priviledges

Who is Rubius?
Although Rubius' role will be different than regular participants, it seems like he'll be a big part of QSMP in his own way, so here's a rundown of who he is and his lore for people who aren't familiar with him!
Rubius is one of the biggest Spanish streamers. Like Vegetta, he's considered a major pillar of the Spanish community. Beyond video game streaming, he's done a lot of other content including comic books, anime, and various other projects with famous celebrities.
Time Magazine named Rubius "The leader of his generation"
Quackity was a huge Rubius fan growing up, and now they're very good friends!
Rubius is the reason Quackity was in Karmaland. He vouched hard for him and he was the one who convinced Vegetta to add him.
He's part Norwegian, and his community (lovingly) calls him "the Norwegian rat"
Rubius is bi! In real life, but also in the Karmaland series. :')
It appears that Rubius' role in QSMP will be similar to Sapo Peta's role in Karmaland. He won't be a "player", but a supporting character (whether a god, administrator, or something else, we don't know yet).
In terms of personality, both Rubius and his character tend to be agents of chaos. One time, he set the entire Karmaland server on fire. (In his defense, there was a backup, and more importantly: it was funny)
In Karmaland, Rubius is a man who's always chasing after power. He can be very manipulative and he often plays mind games. Even with the people he likes / considers a friend, he's still a bit of a bastard (/pos).
In Karmaland, Rubius and Luzu have a longstanding rivalry. In Karmaland 5, this rivalry was exacerbated by the fact that they were both interested in Quackity (albeit, in different ways).
An example of one exchange between Luzu and Rubius:
Rubius: Technical question, what is the difference between a seal and a walrus?
Luzu: The size, like the difference between your brain and mine, blondie.
Although his skin usually makes him look like a bear in a white hoodie, Rubius regularly changes his outfits in Karmaland. He's worn maid outfits, dresses, and various other clothing. He's very comfortable wearing whatever, but he does tend to pick very "feminine" clothing. A very popular headcanon is that (character) Rubius is genderqueer.
In Karmaland, Rubius' relationship to Quackity changed significantly over time. Although he originally played pranks on Quackity and blew him up with a mine, Quackity still had a soft spot for him, and they've had a "friends with benefits" relationship.
This post compares Rubius & Quackity's vs. Luzu & Quackity's relationship pretty well.
However, when Quackity's relationship with Luzu became strained after the elections, then turned into a full-blown war, Rubius supported him and stayed by his side, even giving Quackity an item that could call him for help whenever he was in danger.
Rubius and Quackity, despite their clashes, wound up becoming two people who can depend on each other.
During the peak of the revolution, Rubius offered to kill Luzu for Quackity, but Quackity turned him down.
Quackity clearly had feelings for Rubius (what kind of emotions? that's up to you) but Rubius didn't feel the same.
Although Rubius is a self-described slut on Karmaland, the person he loves most has always been Vegetta.
They have a... unique relationship. To TLDR it, they are the definition of a telenovela romance.
Rubius (lovingly) pokes fun at the community for the Rubegetta (Rubius x Vegetta) ship, but he's also a pretty big supporter of the ship himself.
I've discussed the Rubegetta ship a bit in Vegetta's post, but I'll expand on it here as well since it's very relevant to Rubius and his lore.
In terms of lore, Rubius and Vegetta love each other. It's canon. The problem is that neither Rubius nor Vegetta know what a healthy relationship looks like. The other problem is that Vegetta is (more or less) monogamous while Rubius is Decidedly Not.
Rubius and Vegetta have canonically gotten married. Rubius then immediately divorced him and revealed it was all a con to get Vegetta's diamonds. (It's worth noting that Rubius wanted a small wedding, and Vegetta sprung a giant event-worthy celebration on him without consulting him first. We don't know whether this influenced his actions at the wedding or not).

I do want to emphasize that even though Rubius and Vegetta sometimes have relationship issues / communication issues, it doesn’t diminish their friendship in the slightest. Even after both wedding disasters, they were back to speaking to each other the next week, being flirty and laughing together. Yes, they have issues, but their love for each other remains – despite everything.
(I should also note here that, even while engaged to someone else, Vegetta was still flirty with Rubius).
Rubius has a hard time expressing his true feelings, and has a difficult time letting people get close to him. When a character he considered a son died in Karmaland 5, he had a complete psychological breakdown and tried coping with the loss in very unhealthy ways. One of these ways included engaging in a sexual / romantic relationship with Sapo Peta, despite later confessing to Luzu in therapy that it made him uncomfortable (and no, he never discussed this with Sapo Peta directly because he cannot communicate his real thoughts or feelings to save his life).
Rubius is afraid of commitment. During one of the few times he's ever honestly expressed his emotions to Vegetta, he said:
Rubius: I don't want to get hurt. I don't want to get my hopes up, and then get hurt. It's happened to me many times before. Especially here in Karmaland.
Vegetta: Have you had lovesickness?
Rubius: Yes. In Karmaland, everywhere, in real life... I'm already used to getting beaten.
Vegetta: That's a pity...
Rubius: I just want someone to take care of me, and that's it. I don't ask for much.
Vegetta: I'm very protective...

A few years ago, people stumbled upon a gif of two men making out that look EXACTLY like him and Vegetta. (It's such a striking resemblance that the community and even Rubius HIMSELF thought it was real).
Rubius immediately added this gif to his emotes and named it "Rubegetta"
He's also projected the gif onto his wall and bowed in front of it. Draw your own conclusions from that I guess.
Also: in Karmaland 4, Rubius and Vegetta had a kid together. His name was Brayan Dobluque! (A mix of both their names)
There's more to say about Rubius, but I'll have to add that later since I keep getting distracted / interrupted while writing this. :') If there's anything else people would like me to expand on / something you don't understand, please let me know!

It's been a couple of days since the last QSMP lore stream and merch drop, and there have been two DRASTICALLY different responses from the fandom:
What the fuck oh my god why did they do this what the fuck >:( I'm very angry >:( I'm on twitter btw

I've seen SO MANY passive-aggressive posts coming from users on this website that are all saying something along the lines of, "I'm happy that the server is getting back on its feet! The eggs aren't in a coma btw, they're just out of service (looks at angry twitter users who can't get over the fact that things aren't being solved immediately)."
And, really, I think almost everybody on this website has missed the reasons why other fans are upset over the recent lore stream and the merch drop. They think it's all just whining about how things haven't been solved immediately, but it's really actually all about how things don't seem to have been solved at all.
See, the thing with the Egg Lore Stream was that, uh. None of the admins currently on hold know whether or not they have a job, including known egg admin Ryan. You might know them as Sunny's Actor, and they were pretty taken aback when Egg Lore was revealed to be happening last Saturday... without Ryan, or seemingly any other known admins whatsoever, knowing. And Ryan isn't a former employee, they're a current employee. They haven't been let go.
Ryan, and other current employees, have all been stating that communication between the QSMP higher-ups and the other admins hasn't gotten better at all. Nobody knows if they even still have jobs because the only way they find that out? Through livestreams.
Ryan, and any other suspended egg admins sticking around, only found out that they aren't, like, fired because of a goddamn lore stream.
And for former admins? It's interesting how the admin team put Pomme and Dapper in the little coma machine despite Pomme's actor, Lumi, and the French all saying that they'd rather Pomme die than get replaced, and Lumi isn't going back to the server. And Dapper's admin, Shade, isn't going back without Lumi.
So imagine being them and finding out through this stream that, oh, wow, you're just going to be replaced. An entire language group is quite possibly going to be lost, but it's fine! Actors can just be replaced, right?
Just like how Twitter admins can be replaced by a bot after being fired in the middle of the night with no warning.
Oh, and shall we mention how it seems that the whole Money Thing isn't going anywhere? How we had a paid writer admin come out and say that even after the changes were starting to be made internally that the higher-ups changed the writer's description of the Pomme figure to be as soulless as possible, because if there's one thing the QSMP admin team seems to have, it's a grudge against the French. But then, remember? The writer said that, despite being paid for February and being promised to get paid for March, that they haven't been paid? And they don't think they ever will be?
And how they thought they would be fired for speaking to their friends, aka former admins?
I think that quite legitimately every admin that has come out after leaving the company, or who is still part of the company but who still made a statement anyway, has said that they hope that the QSMP can continue because they believe in the project, but they don't know if it will because nothing seems to be changing behind the scenes.
But, yeah, sure, okay, say it's all just people whining about how change hasn't been immediate. It's people just complaining about the lore! They need to grow up, right? They need to touch grass? Right?
But, well. Being critical is absolutely vital. Does that mean people should harass the admins? Absolutely not. But that does mean that people should be like, "Hey, so why is the admin team still being so shady?"
Things can't be fixed immediately, but it's been over a month. The problems with communication are still continuing! They haven't stopped! It's just that nobody on this website is listening to the admins anymore.
Trusting ccs is fine and all, but keep in mind that they didn't know what was going on before, either. With the general lack of transparency still going on behind the scenes, how would they know if it's all been fixed now?

GUYS OMG I HAVE A CRAZY THEORY
Ok so remember when the Federation first took the eggs away and they came back crack and everyone including the audience was like "yo Wtf they hurt my eggs" and we all started not trusting the Federation, what is we completely misunderstood?
What if the reason the eggs had cracks in them was because they started hatching?
Think about it, when the eggs return we were told they were older and didn't need to be taken care of as much, maybe the Federation knew they were coming close to hatching and put them in a incubator when they spent a lot of time asleep (which would explain why they don't remember anything) to keep any eye on them and make sure everything is good, like a pregnant person having a check up!
That would mean they are in fact maturing and don't need to be taken care of as much! And now look At the eggs (sorry for the thumbnail picture it was the best one I could get )

Huh a dark area, A DARK AREA. Huh you know that "mud" could just easily be a dark area, looks guys they're even more cracked than before, when they took a shower it didn't change a thing (even in the meta sense of the game I'm sure the admins would have had no problem reloging to fix the skin If it was something you could wash off, it's not mud at all!
Which leads me to this conclusion,
We Were Wrong About The Federation
They didn't hurt the eggs, I mean be realistic for a second if they actually damage the eggs so badly they they crack I don't think they would have survived; not to mention how dull the cracks originally looked for something that we perceived as outsider damage.
No they knew the eggs were gonna hatch and wanted to keep an eye on them, that probably also why they went missing the second time before coming back in that state they were in incubation.
But us, viewers and parents alike so something different with the eggs and immediately went into a panic, Tubbo was right their hatching, they've been hatching this entire time!
Also the last streams from the QSMP information channel shows that the federation care about the residents and the eggs, in fact they last streams have shown a lot more human side to the census bureau than we even thought exist because we were too busy thinking of ourselves, wanting answers to questions They probably don't know the answer to, but they can't tell you they don't know because they're the people you except to know!
Like maybe classified isn't always, I'm not allowed to say and more often "I don't know".
Anyways that's my theory, we misunderstood the federation, they genuinely did mean well but had a terrible execution. the Equivalent of a bad parent trying to take care of a rebellious teen.

An Ayhalo analysis, based on after the Q!Bad analysis of @awdee ? (Hi, I really like how you see Q!Bad beginning to accept and ask his desires to be filled with time ).
Next step, in my opinion, will be to learn to Q!Aypierre how to accept to loose control sometimes and give in to his feelings. As you know, he is a character who take a lot of time to give in his feelings, fearing to be abandoned or used. Most of the time, he lets see parts of what he feels, but NEVER to anyone the whole thing. Q!Bad has always been the second who has the most after.....his daugther. Not even Q!Max, yes. And not because he doesn't trust Q!Bad, but because he has always been afraid of this. Q!Bad never has the whole thing, and at this point, Q!Aypierre begins to fall more and more and trying everything to keep things in control.
So.... In bed, he will always take the lead, fearing to be controlled or seen as vulnerable. But as time goes, he will begin to fall more and more, letting weaknesses been more seen before seeing it and trying to hide it.
At first, it began because he gave in the desire he always had for him,but NEVER forget Q!Max, and touched by how he suffered as he gradually learned to know him more intimately with how he reacts to things, he tried everything to help him accept he has every right to desire and wanting things for himself. But with time it's him that Q!Bad wants to have and he begins to see he is not so against it.
And now, the problems ! XD
He begins to see he thinks less and less of Q!Max, and more and more about Q!Bad, and not only because of desire. So yeah, it frightens him and he tries everything to continue be like he is, fearing of being left alone again if seen differently, but it began to be seen and Q!Bad notices it and try everything as Q!Aypierre did for him, to help him totally accept he moved on from Q!Max and make this man entirely his, as the possessive malicious little devil he is.
So yeah, it implies playfullness, tricks, plans for this but always with gentleness. But for me, for these two playfullness and gentleness are always there and they both accept it and recognized the other for that. And we already know how demons in QSMP are possessive of their people.....
And it implies to learn to let the other be in control in bed from time to time and let himself been taken care of. :D

I do wonder a little if the very different reactions to Pomme and Dapper's beds being included in the stream might in part be like... a difference in people used to seeing a new admin play an egg? The situations are very different and that should be acknowledged and looked at and even if as is likely the case QStudios owns all rights to the NPCs created for QSMP it would feel extremely icky to me to give Pomme especially a new admin. But at the same time... I do wonder if people more used to say, Chayanne, who has had 2 different main admins and been played by 4 or 5 different admins regularly enough the different forms have nicknames are more... accepting of the idea? Because the idea of an egg belonging only to the one actor is less comprehensible to them, as it's not what they're used to? Ramón's situation might be closer, but again 2 admins at least. Im almost certain I've seen Tallulah played by someone else when her admin was sick, and I've no doubt some of the other eggs have occassionally been played by others due to admin illness even if not long term.
(This is not to say it's main the issue (even without eggs being acted Sunny's admin should have known what was happening just for bigger issues with the stream alone - admin health and treatment is far more important than what they provide) I'm just. Trying to think of reasons why reactions I saw were as polarised as they were, with half my dash treating it like parading a corpse in the street and the other half like this was entirely expected and normal.)
Oh that’s a good question anon !!
First, the ownership of the characters is a tricky point that I don’t have an answer to as intellectual property laws are extremely complicated and not something I know much about tbh.
And on the topic of admin change, I think public reception depends a lot of the cause of said change : For example, when Ramon switched admins, huevitos were perfectly fine with it as it was assumed that the OG had taken a break for studying purposes so it was not a problem (turns out they were fired 🥲). It’s the same whenever an admin steps up to punctually or long term play another character because their admin is too busy with irl stuff, other work within Qstudios, is sick…. (like what I assume happened for Chayanne)
Pomme’s situation is different because of Lumi’s circumstances and the fact that she asked for her character to end with her leaving. Plus the fact that CCs have said before that they didnt want her to be replaced, even before that whole situation, I remember at least Antoine saying he would rather have Pomme dead than be played by someone else. I’d say the french speaking side got quite attached to her as, with all the sidelining we went through, both her character and admin were our only beacon of representation within Qstudios/QSMP 🥹
Also something that makes me kinda ehhhh about saying that there are people who are completely fine with admins changes because their fav character went through at least one is remembering the whole Pepito/otipep mess that had people go mad because Pepito had an admin change for a few days and they didn’t like the "new personnality" or whatever ? (Couldn’t tell the details of it as my spanish suck and Roier often streams in the middle of the night for me, but I remember the twitter shit storm)
Finally about the eggs being like kidnapped and in a coma (I think ? didn’t watch the stream) I guess it’s an okay way to put them on hold while sorting things out + an opportunity to explain in lore if you have to kill some because no more admins ? Or at least it would have been okay if all the eggs admins still working would have been made aware that their characters was being put on hold 😀

Please Consider The Implications Of Assigning Every Character Dad In The Tag, I Am Begging You
Okay so we have to discuss something here.
I know a lot of people are coming in QSMP from DSMP, where the primary fandom focus, so to speak, was on underage creators. In that setting, and in an environment where people are heavily against shipping, assigning people into a family dynamic makes sense. I have my woes about the flattening nature of family dynamic but seeing a few teens and a few adults and going “siblings and parents” makes sense.
Not every environment in this world is that environment though, and sometimes certain dynamics in an open environment has *connotations*. In the same way that if you have a parent helping a child bathe that’s one thing but two adults in the shower is an entirely different tone, in the same way that an adult threatening to punish a teenager is either corrective or abusive, depending on the setting, but an adult threatening to punish another adult tends more towards “kinky”, if you have Grown-Ass Adults who are like 12 years apart in age and you are insisting they have parent/child pseudo-adoptive relationship, you did not necessarily make it automatically platonic, you just made it kinky. Looking at an older man and going “Dad” and getting the warm and tinglies about that and the idea of them taking care of you when you are an adult— there’s a term for that. That’s a Daddy Kink. That’s where Daddy Issues jokes come from. That’s not a thing where the first or only read is platonic. Platonic reads certainly exist, but for your broad open audience of the whole internet it’s not necessarily the first thing they think of. It’s literally fine but guys. Please. I’m dying here.
I have no problems with a daddy kink, it’s one of the myriad ways to navigate the mysterious knot of impulses that is human sexuality. You can even do kink in a non-sexual way, and plenty of people interact with kinks like fearplay, vore, bondage, hypnosis, predator/prey— I could keep listing them here— you can interact with that in a way that is honestly non-sexual. But that doesn’t mean it’s non-kinky. You are doing a kink. It’s fine to be doing a kink. I am an adult talking to adults about this. Kink is fine. But like, you have GOT to realize at some point what you’re putting in the tag.
I’m fine with shipping! I’m fine with kink! I just would like the kink on my dash to acknowledge that it’s kinking on something!
If you find older people strangely compelling and you want to trust them and you want to call them dad and have them take care of you/a different character you’re focused on, that is fine. If you want to focus on the relationship between a “parent” and their “little” who are both adults, again, fine. Honourable way to navigate the world. We all have fun here.
But I am BEGGING you to realize that certain dynamics have connotations when everybody involved is adults, and constantly going on about how someone is dad-coded or dad-shaped when you are not like, 15, it has a *vibe*. It has a vibe is all I’m saying! And it’s not a platonic vibe!
If you are looking at someone who is 21 fucking years old and you are focused on finding them a dad from an assortment of men who are just over a decade their senior, you are either infantilizing them like whoa or you are doing a daddy kink i am sorry to tell you. If you are constantly talking about how someone who is a decade older than you is dad(dy)— like, please. This is inescapable. My kingdom for people who approach my guys without this lens. If I have to see you doing this to Niki Nihachu I’m going to throw myself into the sea.

I've been a huge q fan in the past so I know all his history. I am not even surprised, how long has it been since we found his server management to be sketchy, not even talking about his merch compagnie.
In no fandom have I ever truly called anyone a BITCH and a cunt . But he is one. Hey, I never expected anything from him about Shelby/ or Wilbur and forever, we know who he is and he does not give a fuck, but to lie so blatantly about how much involvement he has in the qsmp management, that a scrum!! Dude, how could anyone believe him?? It makes NO sense!
Exploiting workers, literally putting anti unions mesures , stealing people ideas (fans on twitter) then blocking them (probably not him who did it but he still got credited for the ideas and said nothing)
That's to ONE thing I will get entertainment CC crucified for. It's not difficult to not be a greedy corporate snake, especially when you are already so rich!

Also, people who say that he is just shocked because Wilbur was one of his bff so he doesn't want to go into (any) detail about that: Q and Wilbur haven't been close for half a year and Shelby posted her video a long time ago. Even Tommy said something for fuck sake!

His stans are being all "they were close friends! Give him some time!! You're all being cruel" well first of all they were not. Second of all, I do not want a statement, a simple kicking him out and asking people to support victims would've been enough. But no, he talked about it for the grand total of THRITY SECONDS, didn't mention Shelby or any victims, didn't mention he's an abuser, and made it all about him. How this is hard for HIM and how sad HE is, etc etc.
He goes on saying he "didn't know the volunteers weren't being paid" and that he thought it was a process were they would eventually (!!!) get paid. Excuse me? How do you not know? One thing is asking the admis not to spoil you what will be tomorrow's event and another radically different thing is saying you don't know what's going on in YOU OWN TEAM of YOUR SERVER. Especially not when it's your money ffs, do you not know where's that going? Do you not know who do you work with? You can't just brush it off as "not knowing" when it's your fucking enterprise. And im not even mentioning the whole NDA thing and how no one could even speak to CCs or other admis off stream, how they were requested to censor themselves in their personal accounts because "controversies" (real life crimes) could stain the server's name. Be for fucking real.
He doesn't even talk about all the merch problems, the fake giveaways and how ridiculously sketchy his merch company (that he/his family owns!) is.
Look I'm not trying to be a hypocrite here, I don't wanna apply dranti logic and demand a perfect apology and explanation the second all exploded. I'm not gonna ask him to know about every little conversation that goes on inside his server or discord. I'm not gonna say he doesn't have the right to mourn whatever friendship he may have had. But that doesn't mean I'm not fucking pissed and none of that excuse him for not knowing what's going on with his employees, his merch and reducing the actions of TWO abusers to "controversies". He needs to be held accountable, but, funnily enough, his fans are too parasocial to realize they're babying him and telling everyone who listens how he's not responsible for anything and it's the higher ups fault. His name is literally everywhere, he prides himself of being the owner and sole inventor of the server, how much higher can you go from there?
I'm upset about the poor guys who are being exploited and actually pity the fans that truly can't see what's before they eyes. Hope those people have it better from now on, but Quackity? He can go cry about it on stream if he wants, this entire thing has been a mess since before it started and I'm happy to see it crashing down. Deserved!

COUGHS. ok I’m going more into detail about the qsmp “botw” eggs au because I have too much free time right now ^^
FYI TO ANY ZELDA FANS I TORE THE WORLDBUILDING APART LIKE A FERAL HOG SO ERM. SORRY IN ADVANCE. THIS IS YOUR WARNING
The worldbuilding is kind of wonky BUT basically there are several different kingdoms based on the qsmp language difference who have allied together in the face of Ganon’s impending Calamity (which is the code for now) and also the Antarctic Empire, which has been somewhat iffy on the alliance for reasons explained later. They’re all blessed by different gods. Everybody is living long time. Unless.
The Antarctic empire has been iffy on the alliance because everybody’s sending their kids into Ganon/The Code’s sight and like. Nobody WANTS to do that but destiny is a little bitch and they can’t quite fight with it considering everything will go to hell if they lose. But Philza is not the happiest camper about it which is kind of a problem since the Antarctic Empire HAS the Master Sword!!
Enter Chayanne as Link in this role, Prince of the Antarctic Empire who is also, because destiny loves being funny, The Chosen Hero. He overhears the conflict and is like huh. Hm. That’s. A lot of stuff happening. But then he hears the world is going to end and listen, he knows if Phil finds out he’s the hero he is NOT getting sent out but also like. Everybody is in danger. The entire world. His family, which is his world. His sister.
He’s like you know what it is better to ask for forgiveness than permission <3 and runs away from the empire with the Master Sword towards the allied kingdoms before the world actually starts ending. The whole time he’s like it’s going to be so ok. We stop Ganon/The Code and I can come back and apologize to my dad ^^!!! (foreshadowing wooooo)
Juanaflippa, Tilín, Bobby, and Trump are the four chosen champions for the divine beasts because. um. well you know how this story ends </3
Pomme is Zelda because I need more Pomme and Chayanne content. And if I have to tend to these crops myself I will. I stg.
After Chayanne gets massively humbled by Ganon and then wakes up 100 years later he’s lost all of his memory. The more recent the memories are, the easier it is to regain them. Yeah I’m saying he forgot The Antarctic Empire and Philza and he’s only just getting vague whispers by the time tears of the kingdom rolls around. S. Sorry. Which is also coincidentally when Philza decides it’s time to have a normal civil discussion with everybody else about where his kid is haha
More random information I couldn’t fit into the vague summary given:
- The Antarctic Empire consists of Philza, Technoblade, Wilbur, Tallulah, and Chayanne
- Missa is here!! He helps Chayanne adjust after reaching the rest of the kingdoms and becomes a father figure to him in Phil’s absence. He even gives him a matching skull mask that’s enchanted to change his eye + hair color to hide better in public. This also has the bonus of making him look exactly like his kid lol
- Pomme, despite being the Zelda role, can beat Chayanne’s ass in a fight.
- Pomme and Chayanne walk around carrying the guilt of a thousand suns on their backs from all the shit that has been happening and I could talk about them for ages but I would need another post just know they make me physically ill
- Pomme is the protagonist in totk instead of Chayanne

Just finished watching the new qsmp stream and love Elena. But so many thoughts about her and the federation.
First Elena. Did she become Elena in the federation or was she Elena before? In her backstory it seemed like she already looked like the other workers despite not being apart of them yet. (This might just be a consistency thing and it being very unnecessary to make a different Elena just for her to become a white bear) Also so her possibly taking part in unethical experiments and not seeing a problem with it. Her also saying that these experiments lead to big discoveries in science, of which we have a few examples.
1. Happy pills. Anti-depressions are a thing, they may not work well but they certainly don’t do what ever the happy pills do.
2. Hybrid experiments(I don’t know much about this) but from what I do know it was very traumatic and kinda useless? What purpose would a duck hybrid serve to help the federation?
3. Whatever that green thing was in the backstory. It looks like the color of infection to me, but it could be something else.
So the examples we do have both do nothing to help science or people, and cause immense trauma for the parties involved. Also looking back at history unethical experiments often do not lead to anything. First thing that comes to mind is unit 731(one of japans horrific war crimes) and how useless it all was in the end. So I don’t trust her when she says how helpful these unethical experiments will be to science because that sounds like a lie to me.
Now The Federation
Obviously the federation is bad. The unethical experiments, cucurucho’s weirdly violent approach to everything, trapping people on a island and not allowing them to leave. But watching the streams shows a different more goofy side of it, the workers are all friends, they talk and make fun of each other, they slack off on their job. But bad people live very normal lives outside of being bad. (Not saying that every worker is bad, but also so not saying that just because you are forced or tricked into doing something bad it isn’t your fault) Bad people don’t spend their entire day grumbling about what evil thing they will do next, they party, they make jokes, they have other hobbies. To me the streams show a different side to the federation but at the end of the federation has done horrible things and seeing some workers waltz about won’t change that.
This has also given me some thoughts about us as the viewers part in this. I’ve seen people refer to this a propaganda, but for who? The islanders aren’t watching these and we the viewers don’t have much of a say in anything that happens. We got to vote in the election and we are the voices in their head but outside of that we have no part in the story. We can’t talk about what is happening because that would be metagameing so what point would changing our opinions do? What are they trying to gain by making us like the federation? What point is there in humanizing the workers(other than to make us upset at their murders, which honestly is quite a good point)? What are they up to?
