COUNT DUCKULA ABRIDGED SERIES AUDITIONS

Here is the Google form for Voice Actor Auditions!! Being a Count Duckula fan (or having knowledge in general) is not necessary for the auditions but it is recommended.

Please read the following requirements before auditioning (these are also listed in the Google form itself):

Requirements:

1. Be 18+!! This may change in the future, but for now we'd prefer only 18+ people to be working on the project.

2. A decent mic (internal computer mic/phone mic will do, do not use the microphone in your headphones/earbuds), and headphones or earbuds (for other use).

3. A relatively quiet recording space. I'll be doing a lot of the editing and I have Audacity so I can filter out some of the background noise if there is any-- but recording in a mostly quiet environment would make my work a lot easier!

4. Have Discord, or be willing to set up an account. This is going to be a very collaborative project and we want everyone to be able to communicate with each other (not to mention it's required for recording as you'll see below!)

5. Be willing to join our Count Duckula Abridged server. Same reason as above.

6. Be willing to join Discord calls so that way we can record our scenes together if there's more than one character for a scene! You'll be using your microphone/computer mic/phone mic to record and your headphones/earbuds to hear, but you'll be acting alongside the other actors in order to make the end result more authentic.

Lo everybody! I am looking for voice actors for an animated web movie, i'm currently working on

The Characters and a brief description of their voice:

Knife-Eye (Male): A mix between Edd from Eddsworld (minus the accent) and SomeCallmeJohnny

Dog/Pepperoni (Male): a mix between courage from courage the cowardly dog, Pluto and Brian from family guy

Sarah (Female): A more tired and slightly lower Edna Krabappel from The Simpsons

Elliot (Male): a shy, geeky and kind of squeaky voice with a heavy lisp

Guy (Male): A mix between Tony Stark from Iron Man (2008) and Ralph from TMNT (2007)

Ice Cream Man (Male): an energetic and charismatic voice

Seth Orange (Male): A slightly more high pitched and exaggerated Seth Green

Carl (Male): A subdued, laid-back low voice

PERSON IN THE BACK (Male): a very screechy pathetic dork-like voice

ANOTHER PERSON (Male): A mix between Jerry Lewis's

Nutty Professor and Professor Frink from The Simpsons

General George A. James (Male): A mix between Frank Sinatra and Bruce Campbell

President Money Monster (Male): A mix between Zapp Brannigan from Futurama, Joey from Friends and Wolverine from the X-Men: The Animated Series

Mark (Male): A mix between Mayor West from Family Guy and Ross from Friends

Fred (Male): A mix between Chandler from Friends and Peter from Family Guy

LADY (Female): A mix between Oprah Winfrey and Leela from Futurama

Astronaut 1 (Male): A mix between Fry from Futurama and Zim from Invader Zim

Astronaut 2 (Male): A mix between Matt and Tom from Eddsworld without the accent

Alien 1 (Male): A mix between Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbander (2005) and George S. Patton but slightly high pitched

Alien 2 (Male): a sassy, sarcastic voice

Alien 3 (Male): A mix between Lunk from the new adventures of captain s and Wellington Wimpy from Popeye

Alien 4 (Male): A mix between Cosgrove from Freakazoid and Yosemite Sam from Looney Tunes

Alien 5 (Male): A slightly more high pitched and exaggerated Tom Cruise

You can email your auditions (mp3 only) at [email protected]

Make sure the name of the character you choose is the subject in the email

you can’t ever underestimate how good of an actor laura bailey is especially when you remember that the abby audition for tlou2 was literally the joel scene and she nailed it so hard that neil druckmann was like ‘well fuck, it’s her’

Hello everyone! If you’ve been around my page for a while, or my friends’ @huffle-dork and @jurassicraptorcat, then you might know of our passion project titled Heterochromiacs!

This story, if you’re new or have forgotten.

Well, I’m finally bringing it to life, in the form of a final for one of my college classes: an animatic! That being said, I’m in need of two of two VAs for the project to voice two characters: Drew (all the way on the left, blue lighting, and nonbinary (AMAB)), and Darcio (one from the right, green lighting, and male). The animatic will only be around 2 min, but I really want to get voices to help make this project shine.

Yuki: Space Assassin is holding an open audition for a new character, and she’s… uh… paw-sitively awesome.

Seriously, this gal is the cat’s meow. We ain’t even kitten.

For those not yet in the know, Yuki: Space Assassin is an established 18+ sci-fi podcast. We even made it to #3(!) on Spotify’s fiction charts, until someone realized we were way too hot for Spotify.
