I read and reread the rules, so here is what I thought of: absolutely obliterating 707 with snowballs, the poor unsuspecting fool gets hit with way too many snowballs (that's what he gets for being mean to me >:] ) and falls to the ground getting buried for his sins >:))))

It almost seems like the rolling of the snowball in your hands is an absentminded movement, but it's very much intentional. Your eyes are training on the back of your boyfriend’s head—his bright red hair is a beacon in the bright white world around you. It’s so quiet you could hear a pin drop (or, alternatively, Saeyoung’s giggles as he sculpts the little snow Elizabeth the Third next to the snow-you and snow-him.

You’d be lying if you said you weren’t impressed at how quickly he whipped up snowpeople of everyone. Impressed, but not surprised. You think you even see Vanderwood a little ways back, isolated from everyone else, and you feel a stab of pity for the poor guy.

Working with Saeyoung can’t be easy, but he’s always been nice to you. Even up until the two of you ran away, you know deep down Vanderwood cared for Seven.

You shake yourself out of your thoughts, not wanting to get too caught up in the nitty-gritty of the situation when Saeyoung had it handled. You trusted him to protect the two of you, You know he can. You’re incredibly lucky for each and every day you get to spend at his side, even though you’re nearly always aware that each day could be your last.

But you chose this life when you chose him, and you would have it no other way.

And so, you show your love by winding up and throwing your perfectly crafted snowball as hard as you can at Saeyoung.

It hits him square in the back of the head, wetting his vibrant hair and sliding down until it hits the inside of his hood.

“Yikes!” he yelps, flailing his arms around his back as he springs away from snow-Elizabeth, “Enemy attack! God Seven is down!”

You laugh, already scooping up more snow and pelting him with your (much more sloppy) snowballs. Saeyoung makes a big show of gasping for air and pleading for mercy, occasionally playing dead and waiting for you to come over and poke him before smacking you with snow as well.

It doesn’t take long till the two of you are out of breath, your fingers ice cold but intertwined through your gloves.

“Want to head inside?” you murmur, kissing his snowflake-sprinkled brow, “We can have some of your very special hot chocolate.”

Saeyoung’s eyes light up and he gives you that big goofy grin you fell in love with.

“One thing first.” he whispers, the quiet of his voice exaggerated and theatrical.

And for a moment, you expect a snowball to the face, but he kisses you instead. It’s soft and sweet and tastes like an unholy combination of energy drink powder (which...now that you think about it, likely explains how quickly he crafted everyone out of snow.)

“Now we can go inside.” he laughs softly against your lips, scooping you up in his arms and carrying you inside, where you can be warm and comfortable with the one person you love most.

The ending of Saeran'AE would have been better if Saeyoung had beaten the PM to death with MC cheering him on in the corner (With detailed CG included and Saejoong screaming).

Oh, that's absolutely what happened in the hospital and I think the only reason Vanderwood was with Saeyoung was to make sure that he didn't bludgeon Saejoong Choi to death. I'm certain many folks in that hospital turned a blind eye for sixty seconds.

I do not doubt what happened that day as soon as the Prime Minister left the room with Saeran and MC. I do not doubt how fast he was hit and taken down. Those facts are clear-cut in my mind. I... will say one thing, though, he willingly walked into the hospital hallway knowing that his son was going to beat the ever-loving fuck out of him.

Don't get me wrong, Saejoong Choi is a piece of shit and deserves no praise for the bare minimum he owes his sons. But, he spent hours in Saeran's hospital room and we don't know what they talked about. I'll place a bet on Saeran scolding his father and telling him that if there is any remorse in his heart whatsoever, then he needs to do the right thing for Saeyoung and let Saeyoung be the one to not only take him down, but accept whatever punishment Saeyoung wants to dish out before that happens.

Saeran knows Saeyoung has a different view in life. His brother does not need to forgive their father, that's not what he needs to find any peace in his heart. Saeran forgave his father to learn how to forgive himself for what happened in Mint Eye... and Saeyoung deserves to hold onto his hate because it's not hurting him or anyone else (who doesn't deserve it, anyway).

He might not have had the opportunity to be with his brother since they were little kids, but if he knows anything about his brother? It’s that Saeyoung has always been just as afraid as he was. Saeyoung spent years… trying to be brave… trying to be strong… trying to be the adult he and Saeran needed because their parents were never going to do that for them.

Saeyoung has felt powerless his entire life, and Saeran knows his brother would never admit it.

I feel like that's why he pretended to be asleep for as long as he did in his hospital room. It wasn't about feeling strange around his brother after being separated for so long, nor was it just about the fact that they had different perspectives on life.

On that day, his procrastination to speak with his brother face to face wasn't about himself. It was about making sure his brother had the opportunity to reclaim his power.

No longer will Saeyoung choke on fear, that’s what Saeran thinks. My brother won't have to be afraid anymore. My brother won't have to go out of his way to do everything he can to make sure we stay alive. My brother can take down the monster who has terrified us since we were kids, and in this way, he can finally have the life he deserves. My brother might want me to live a life where I have everything I could ever dream of, but I want him to have the same thing, and for him to have that, he needs to be the one to take down our dad.

He knew what his brother needed more than anything. Saeyoung needed to put away their father with his own hands. He needed the chance to make sure that monster would never come after him or his father ever again. He needed to know that he would never have to be afraid ever again. There is no way for him to feel that way unless he is the one who personally makes sure his father can never see the light of day again.

Saeran fought to give Saeyoung what he needed by standing up to their father who came crawling back in the hospital to talk to Saeran after the day on the lake. I will never ever imagine that very scene any other way.

Saejoong didn't turn over a new leaf because Saeran gave him some understanding instead of hatred, and he says that himself. That man knew he would go to prison forever, but decided to face his sons one final time... for reasons we'll never know. I think he knew he was in a corner and it was only a matter of time until people took him in and he rotted away forever. But, we'll never know why he choose to face his illegitimate sons.

We will never know what was going on in that man's head. But, at least the very last thing he did for his sons was stand there and take everything they had to give. That is the least he could give them and God knows they deserve more... they deserve so much better than... than that man. But, hey, he laid there and let Saeyoung beat the shit out of him until he was bloody and bruised.

Saeran is the one who told his father to do it.

And, for whatever reason, Saejoong Choi let Saeyoung absolutely beat the shit out of him.

things i really hope they add to mysmes

- anything w/ vanderwood

listen. we all had butterflies during that one v route chatroom where we get to talk to vandy. i think he’s a really cool character and i’d love a fresh perspective of the mysmes universe. a vanderwood route might not fit with the rest of them, but he deserves something! i’d be content with a vanderwood dlc or lil spinoff of some sort. i think it’d be really neat!!

- another story 707 route

i love saeyoung’s route, its so important to me, and i absolutely adore all 11 days of it. and the secret endings are great and everything! BUT, i would love a new version of his route where we start from the same point as v and ray’s routes. i think saeyoung’s route pales in comparison to the another story routes, and would be soso much better from the another story perspective.

- new endings?

some characters just deserve a lil something more. i’d LOVE to see a romantic jaehee ending!! or zen/yoosung endings where they go deeper into the mint eye subplot. the possibilities are limitless!! i also think it’d be cool if they made different endings for when you accumulate more hearts for a different character than the route you’re on. like if i got a ton of saeyoung hearts during v’s route, what then? (this bullet point is the least plausible, as its hard to insert stuff into an already pretty finished game, but speculation is fun!!)

- wedding dlc

i mean cmon. the new cg has left us all pining for a wedding dlc!!!! i think it’d be such a cutesy look into the lives of the rfa and mc after the routes.

we always get new cgs for the rfa, but a celebration for the player’s birthday would be awesome too!!

the new art style is soooo hot n sexy that some of the old pictures look kinda crusty in comparison. i love the old art style still, and it’ll always be nostalgic to me, but a revamp would be so neat!!

i always headcanoned saeran as a really light sleeper but him sleeping peacefully (and cutely) through sevens robot dog barking at vanderwood changes it, i think hes a very very light sleeper in the mint eye and for quite a while after, i like to think of all the cgs this year being the year after saerans after end so its been almost 2 years since hes left and he can sleep deeper now ❤️❤️

Astuvz thank you 🥺 but I honestly don't get phased by that anymore lol. I've been writing for him for about... One and a half years now I think? So just because someone doesn't agree with my interpretation of him won't make me suddenly change it all xD

What rubs me the wrong way tho is when people claim he doesn't care about Seven and the others at all. Because... Hello? Have we been playing the same game? xDD

My man always talked about doing the necessary things to stay alive but in the end went against all of that. He constantly made sure Seven wouldn't get killed in one way or another. He helped Saeran (and helped rescuing him). He helped when V got poisoned etc etc. Now I dare people to say again how Vandy is an asshole who only cares about himself :D I'm ready to throw hands 😌

I don't quite understand what Vanderwood is doing with V's sock. Is he trying to hang it up but the robot dog caught him by surprise or did he unhook it to burn it in the fireplace? Does the latter sound like they want to get rid of V? I'm not buying it, it would be very sad if that's what Cheritz implied with that CG for Christmas. I'll think he's out there with Zen and Jumin doing something to entertain himself.

The answer is Saeyoung is bullying Vanderwood with his robot dog just for the sake of teasing him. That's their dynamic. The dog caught Vanderwood by surprise just like the last time they interacted. It explains the shock on his face. Vanderwood doesn't care for the robots that guard the bunker since they were programmed to get in the way. That's the real answer, dears.

V, Jumin, and Zen are out and about doing their own thing! I assume that they are getting drinks or something off screen. That makes the most sense and it would check out considering that last year's New Year's photo had everybody together. There's no ill-will around here. Though, Vanderwood hasn't added any stocking for himself. I think it has more to do with the fact that if he did have a stocking, it would likely have a gag gift from Saeyoung. That's a real risk.
