Hatch
Rosebel: *Walks across the nets, walking carefully to the meeting chamber*
???: You mated with a human, that's why your eggs came out cracked!
???: It's not her fault, don't blame her, Borra
???: I have to agree with Udo, Borra it isn't her fault
Borra: It became her fault when she agreed to be with Udo! How could you partner with a human
Udo: That is none of your business, like you told me after I saved her from drowning..she's my responsibility
Rosebel: *Steps closer startled*
Udo: Connel, you saw me with her, you understand right
Connel: I never seen you smile that way before, I must say I do understand
Borra: THREE EGGS! Three eggs came out shattered and one egg is defective!
Udo: Humans and Faes are different, Borra, don't blame her for the shattered eggs
Borra: Those kids would've been the future of our people, and that defective egg you keep defending saying it'll hatch needs to go
Connel: The egg doesn't belong to you Borra, Udo and Rosebel are it's parents
Borra: The egg hasn't hatched in three weeks! It stayed still this whole time, it must be empty!!
Udo: It's not empty...and you won't touch MY egg...
Rosebel: Udo...
Udo: *Turns, Connel beside him* Rosebel...
Rosebel: *Smiles* The egg is hatching..
Udo: *Hurries over and grabs Rosebel, flying away quickly*
Connel: Lets go!
Udo: *Flies over to the nursery, setting Rosebel down, his eyes on the shaking egg*
Connel: Why is it black?
Borra: Defective I tell you...
Udo: *Picks up the egg, smiling as his son bursted the shell open with his tiny wings*
Piper: Mom, he's so small
Rosebel: You kids were small as well!
Udo: Hey Hugo, you finally hatched
Hugo: *Stares, Rosebel smiling at him*
Rosebel: Welcome little one...

the piper and the fairy
Tumblr media
Summary: You were friends with Maleficent since she was little when Aurora invites them to Prince Philip's palace and it ends in disaster. Maleficent and you end up injured and you wake up in a very strange place.
you felt sore you began to open your eyes you looked around you inspected the place it looked like a giant nest you got up from where you were resting you found your flute and started walking looking for maleficent as you walked you saw many tunnels some on the floor others on the ceiling and walls "where the hell it was."
You heard voices in one of the tunnels. You didn't know you would find yourself there, but you were curious. You started walking until the voices intensified until you began to hear well.
x: they hear it they hear it
you could see that all the vices were fairies cimo maleficent you noticed that the fairy who spoke was holding an iron bullet in her fingers
x: It is a message from humans I hear it loud and clear our death is approaching
He said, showing the bullet to all the fairies present.
x: Humans have used iron against us for centuries
you saw another fairy talk to him
x: and because of him he almost made us extinct
x: killing peasants near the Moors will only cause a conflict
So they were to blame for the dead humans near the Moors. You had to be careful. If they had already killed humans, they wouldn't be any different with you.
You were listening to their conversation when you noticed some eyes looking at you. You turned around and saw a fairy with white wings and hair of the same color looking at you. You stood rigid looking at him until the whole place became silent.
x: well it seems that our guest woke up
You heard, you saw how all the fairies turned to look at you, some with hatred in their eyes.
The fairy who was giving a speech flew quickly towards you, grabbing you and pushing you to the center of the place.
You fell to your knees, you saw how he looked at you with anger.
x: look at one of them, she could kill us if she wanted to but she is defenseless
He said while the other fairies laughed he knelt in front of you.
x: without iron you are weak
You looked at him angrily, you hated it when people told you that you were weak.
x: Did you want to kill that fairy?
You just looked at him confused. Was he talking about Maleficent?
x: answer me
x:borra leave her empath
You saw the fairy who was arguing with him and he did it to you, helping you get up.
x: are you okay
Borra: because you help her
x: because she hasn't done anything to us
Borra: she is a cruel being
The other fairies supported him. You were angry. You hadn't done anything to anyone. If they thought you were cruel, you would show them what you could do.
you took out your flute while you wet your lips
Borra: What do you think you'll do with that, huh?
you took a breath until you started playing a melody they laughed until they started dancing to the rhythm of the music the more you played they couldn't control themselves and it hurt if they resisted
Borra: stop what are you doing to us
x: enough
When you heard that voice you knew it was evil, you immediately stopped playing and looked at her, you ran towards her to see if she was okay.
Maleficent: I'm fine, who are you?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After clarifying who they were and where Maleficent came from, you felt happy for her.
She was with connal. You were in the part of the tundra. You were always attracted by the cold and the snow. You saw the children playing but you knew you couldn't get involved. You didn't want problems with their mothers.
You were sitting under a tree when you heard a flutter of wings, you saw next to you it was the same fairy that saw you when you were in a meeting, he turned around, you got up and walked back.
x I'm not going to hurt you, I'm udo
You looked at him, he seemed like he didn't want conflicts, so you let him do what.
udo: you are y/n no
You felt as you sat down he approached you.
Udo: I heard you can't talk, how do you communicate with her?
you looked at him and showed him your flute
Udo: ohh, could I listen?
He sat next to you while you began to play a melody that transmitted emotions.
udo: you know not all fairies are like borra he is very impulsive but that's what we go through
You looked at him listening to what he was saying.
Udo: I don't believe that all humans are bad, you are proof that there are good ones.
A small smile appeared at the corner of your lips.
Why they never fight
For @eternalstrigoii , who got me into the Maleficent fandom even though I’ve seen mostly tumbleweeds. But it’s okay, because dark fey and it gives me something new to write about.
Plot: Diana Hargan and her foster daughter run into trouble when a chance encounter causes Virgil, aka Psycho Red, to fly into a rage upon seeing in the child the eyes of his enemy.
“Andromeda! Andromeda, not so fast!” Diana chased the five year old through the grass. She wasn’t that far ahead, but she didn’t want to lose sight of her.
“Can’t catch me-oops!” Andromeda bumped into the back of a man dressed in red and black. “Sorry, mister.”
“Hm?” Virgil, or as he was better known, Psycho Red, turned around. “Watch where you’re going next-” And then he saw her eyes. Andros’ eyes. Virgil’s face turned to one of cold fury, and he picked Andromeda up by the scruff of her collar.
“Auntie Diana!” Andromeda screamed.
Diana broke into a sprint, but as she did, she summoned something-a large ghostly white peacock that slammed through the air and into Virgil himself.
He was surprised enough to drop her, and Andromeda started crying again.
Diana caught up to them, eyes never leaving Virgil’s. “You harm that child, or any child, and you deal with me.”
Virgil snorted. “You’re not even close to my level. Get out of my way and might even let you live. “
“No.” Diana’s response was simple, and she summoned a large mace out of thin air. “Leave.”
“So it’s like that, is it? Waste of my time.” Virgil’s form changed to reflect some sort of red and black armor, almost alien like in origin. “You’ll die first, then she will. And I’ll take your heads to Andros.”
Diana frowned in determination, and swung her weapon. Her opponent dodged with ease, and after a few minutes of back and forth, she was sent flying.
Behind them, Andromeda was still screaming and crying. Virgil, now Psycho Red, summoned his sword and laughed a metallic laugh before saying, “You die now.” He raised his sword-
-only to find that something sent him and his sword flying from above. A being of pure white swooped from above, faster than any simple bird of prey.
His name was Udo, and he was a lover, not a fighter. A caregiver, not a creature of war. The spiritual fey were creatures of peace, not of war. There were reasons for that, however.
One was the fact that Udo didn’t even have to move from his position in the air to send full force ice and snow in Virgil’s direction. Wise men say to beware when a man (or fey) of peace takes up a weapon, because there would be no stopping him.
As Virgil bounced and was slung about by full force blizzard winds, one of the reasons why the spiritual fey didn’t fight was evident: if you made them angry enough, you would have the wrath of nature itself on your hands. After all, what were fey if not nature itself?
Diana took the time to crawl over to Andromeda and hold her, rocking the crying child. “It’s okay. We’ll be okay.”
“Who is that? Is that an angel?”
“I don’t know, honey. But I think he’s here to help us.”
Udo could have killed him. The only reason he didn’t was because there was a child involved. So instead he blew the man known as Psycho Red against a tree and repeated what Diana had said earlier: “Leave.”
Virgil wisely went, but not before defiantly grumbling, “This isn’t over.” And in a burst of energy, he teleported away to parts unknown.
Udo’s attention immediately went to the woman and child-mostly the child. He knelt down in front of her and asked, “Are you all right?”
Andromeda sniffled. “I-I think so. But that was really scary and I don’t know why he wanted to hurt me like that. Are you an angel?”
Udo chuckled, thinking of how Borra would choke at that question. “I’m Udo,” he said. “You were very brave. Sometimes, people want to hurt other people for no reason. It’s not your fault.”
Andromeda seemed to accept that answer, and hugged him before turning to her ‘auntie’. “Are you okay too Auntie?”
“Shaken but not stirred, as James Bond says,” Diana replied. She’d actually been pretty scared. Her eyes turned to Udo. “Thank you. Andromeda means a lot to me. “
“It’s nothing,” Udo said softly. “I would do the same for any child.”
“It is something,” Diana insisted. “Maybe someday I can return the favor.”
Chapter 19
Rayne politely nodded her head to Celtra acknowledging her presence but glared at Gerda with hostility. The treatment that Rayne openly displayed to Gerda was gradually starting to bother her. Despite her vexation, there was nothing she could do at the moment. It was only a matter of time before she lashed out at any creature who crosses her, starting with Rayne.
"Dinner is served, follow me." Rayne informed before turning to walk down the spiraling stairs.
Both Gerda and Celtra stood up and trailed behind her. Gerda walked in silence occasionally admiring the castle with her thoughts still on her conversation with Celtra. She no longer had an appetite and craved to be alone in her room. The sound of two large doors opening brought her back to reality as they walked into the dining hall. She took note of all the chairs being occupied by various fey.
All their heads turned and the hall grew silent as she made her way towards their table. She kept her expression calm and collected trying to mask her anxious emotions. Her eyes ignored the obvious stares and kept her attention on the back of Celtra's wings. They then came to a stop by the table. Rayne turned to both Celtra and Gerda with a strict glint in her eyes before fixing them on Celtra.
"You will sit here while the pest stands off to the side, she will eat separately with the rest of the servants if Borra permits it." Rayne instructed Celtra, causing Gerda to clench her jaw in frustration.
Celtra simply nodded her head and quietly sat down next to a woman with colorful wings and caramel skin. The women kindly greeted Celtra by nodding her head. The other sitting fey openly glared at Gerda. Rayne pulled Gerda by her arm and dragged her off  to the side until she was several feet away from them.
"You are to remain nonexistent and quiet as the rest of them dine. I'm warning you that any disobedience will not be tolerated by Borra and his inner trusted circle." Rayne hissed at Gerda before turning and walking towards the table to sit down.
"This is unexceptable Rayne! That human should not be in here listening to our every word, she is to not be trusted." A creature with snow white hair and slanted eyes voiced as he glanced at Gerda with caution.
"I understand your concern Udo but she is Borras pet and he specifically instructed that she is to accompany him." Rayne said as several creatures whispered and expressed their disagreement.
"He couldn't have locked the human up in some cage instead? I agree with Udo, her presence here makes me sick along with 'that' scent." The tanned woman sitting next to Celtra hissed, with agitation in her voice.
"Shrike is right, I find her presence here to be unneccessary. Surely a cage would be best for her, it's a poor decision on his part to have her in the same room as us." Another female creature with black hair and slanted eyes said, causing Gerda to glare at her.
"Enough with your complaints! Ini, you should know better than to question Borra's decisions." Rayne said scolding them.
Gerda felt her face harden after hearing the creatures speak of her as if she wasn't in the same space. She eagerly wanted to carve out their tongues with an iron sickle but the most infuriating truth was she knew it wasn't possible. Her stomach grumbled in hunger when the smell of cooked meat and other side dishes hit her nose. Just then the doors at the other end of the hall opened causing the whiny fey to quiet down and glance at the new arrival.
Gerda's stomach twisted with a mixture of resentment and unease when both Borra and Maleficent came strolling in. She noted how he wore a new set of black leather pauldrons and straps along with a matching set of black loose bottoms. All the fey creatures stood from their seats in a respectful manner as they patiently waited for the pair to sit.
Maleficent's striking beauty was beyond poetic words and it was clear why many including Borra was infatuated with her. She had on a long, sheer black dress that caressed her thin form and brought out her glowing pale skin. Her sleek, silky hair flowed behind her in a graceful manner as she confidently walked in with her arms linked with Borra. He had a satisfied grin on his face, appearing to be in a exceptional mood.
Only then did it click in Gerda's head that Maleficent must've been the guest he was expecting when he requested her presence in his chambers. She lightly grimaced in disgust when she realized the two must've been 'intimate' with each other before coming down. It would certainly explain the satisfied expression on Borra's face.
After the two reached their destination, Borra took his seat at the head of the table. Maleficent occupied the first chair that was next to him at the corner. The rest of the fey took their seats, nodding their heads in respect to both Borra and Maleficent. Gerda blinked in discomfort as she dumbly stood off to the side with Maleficent facing her. Although she was a distance away, it still didn't ease her unsettled nerves one bit.
They appeared to not notice her presence but she knew it wouldn't be long before they did. Gerda shifted her eyes away from the paired lovers and decided to study the windows as a distraction. She was in Borra's domain so it would be in her best interest to be obedient even if it killed her pride.
"I knew I smelled 'human' in here. What an obedient pet you are just quietly lingering around not making a sound." Maleficent maliciously teased pulling Gerda's attention from the windows.
Gerda starred back at her with a blank expression trying to disguise the exasperation that rose inside. Maleficent observed Gerda with scathing green eyes roaming over her from head to toe. Gerda noticed the hint of disdain in Maleficent's eyes as she studied her.
"Well, well. How considerate of you to dress her up like some pristine doll, Borra. Perhaps a fancy collar should be added to her colorful wardrobe." Maleficent sharply pointed out, earning a round of snickers from the sitting fey with several throwing taunting smirks towards Gerda.
Gerda felt her hands clench up into fists, feeling a boiling rage consuming her body. She knew Maleficent was purposely trying to get a reaction from her. Gerda also knew that Borra would punish her if she lashed out and that would only provide some sick entertainment for the witch.
"There's no need for it when she's already been marked by me." Borra said with a smirk as he casually spun a sharp, crystal knife on the table with his eyes warning Gerda.
"What do you mean by 'marked'?" Maleficent scoffed with bitterness,  her attention now fully focused on Borra.
"She's branded with my name on her as a form of ownership." Borra casually explained, pointing his knife in Gerda's direction.
"How lovely to hear, though I don't think I'm fond with the idea of your name on another womans skin." Maleficent sharply said, before lightly chuckling at her words and reaching for her cup.
"I assure you there's nothing to worry about when it comes to the human. I prefer a woman who's 'powerful' enough to take out kingdoms with just the snap of her fingers and there's only one who's capable of that. This human on the otherhand is weak and useless, all repulsive to me." Borra explained with a smile as his eyes roamed over Maleficent who then smirked with satisfaction at his words.
"Well, I suppose that's enough talk of your human pet. I'd like to converse about far more interesting matters." Maleficent said before throwing one last mocking glance at Gerda.
Gerda felt her body shake with a deep rooted rage that wanted to burst, killing everything and everyone. She felt her hands sting as her nails dug into the skin of her palms. The pain was nothing compared to what she was feeling. Her body felt restrained in place due to the fact that there was nothing she could do. She couldn't speak and voice what she felt unless she wanted to be punished.
Gerda knew she could only take so much before lashing out at Borra. Perhaps being locked away in her room for the rest of her life was preferable. There was no way she could endure his cruel, mocking words any longer. She was far from weak and useless.
Did he not know how useful she was back in Ulstead? She was capable of taking out men and the strongest creatures around with just her crossbow. Her skills alone could take down kingdoms without the need of magic. There was a reason why the queen chose her to do the dirty work simply because she was the best.
The remainder of dinner was blurred out as she tried focusing on her breathing. She occasionally admired the beautiful orange and red clouds outside the windows. She always did enjoy watching the sun both rise and set back when she was in Ulstead. Gerda recalled finishing her work just in time to admire such beauty. Now it was impossible due to her current circumstances. That was the one simple pleasure in life that she enjoyed when she was finished with her duties.
The sound of chairs moving lured her attention onto the table of surrounding fey creatures. They once again stood from their chairs as Borra and Maleficent linked arms and turned towards the doors they arrived from. The two were most likely heading back to Borra's chambers for the night. Soon the hall grew vacant as the remaining fey left.
"Both of you come with me, time to feed Borra's pest. " Rayne said with sarcasm before walking away.
Gerda followed behind the two with her emotions still going strong. She was fueled with anger despite it being a hour since she endured Borra and Maleficent's cruel treatment. Nothing angered her more than two vile creatures belittling her as if they were above her. She craved to spill their blood even if such an desire was illogical.
She silently brooded over her thoughts until they came to a stop in front of a wooden door. It then opened allowing them to enter. The door revealed a large kitchen with several servants finishing off their duties for the day. They simultaneously paused to stare and whisper amongst each other, aware of Gerda's presence. Rayne continued walking towards a spot in the corner where a small wooden table was set. She then focused her attention on Gerda.
"After today you will be eating in your room for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will continue accompanying Borra so expect to eat after he is finished and dismisses you." Rayne said, earning a glare from Gerda.
"So I'm expected to starve until he is finished eating?" Gerda hissed between clenched teeth with her temper rising.
"Yes. Perhaps you should be thankful that he's even allowing you to be fed three times a day. Now sit down and enough with your backtalk." Rayne said with a clipped tone before turning to Celtra.
"Escort her back to her room afterwards. I trust you managed to familiarize yourself with the castle by now so you will not be needing me to guide you around." Rayne told Celtra before turning to head out the kitchen.
Both Gerda and Celtra took their seats at the table ignoring the stares from the fey servants. Gerda felt nettled noticing how very few went back to their duties while the rest appeared to be whispering about her. She sighed in relief after a plate of food was brought over. The creature then turned to walk away without bothering to take a single look at Gerda.
"Well today has been quite interesting, I'm surprised you survived dinner without any incidents." Celtra noted as Gerda took a bite out of her chicken.
"What choice did I have, I was out numbered and would like to end my day still intact. Plus I didn't want to give Maleficent what she desired." Gerda admitted after swallowing her food.
"I would pay no mind to Maleficent's comments, I find her to be slightly threatened by you when it comes to Borra." Celtra added causing Gerda to nearly choke on her water.
"What could she possibly be threatened about? He has eyes only for her and has been very vocal what he thinks of me." Gerda said before chewing on some bread with her mind brooding over Borra's cruel words.
"Most of his time will be spent with you, that's enough to make any female jealous despite you being human." Celtra pointed out with an enigmatic glint in her eyes.
"She's a fool if she holds such caution towards me. I'm no more than a dull, boring human to him who manages to get under his skin and set him off." Gerda plainly stated as she tried to quickly finish her meal.
"Perhaps the fact that you're able to get under his skin is enough. Remember what I said earlier, become his acquaintance if you want to make the remainder of your time here livable." Celtra softly said with a sly grin.
"I'm to be his prisoner not friend. I believe I'm finished and would like to head to my room, today has been exhausting for me." Gerda quickly stated before taking one last sip from her cup.
Celtra briefly studied her before nodding her head and standing up to lead Gerda out the claustrophobic kitchen. Gerda then followed behind ignoring the nosey fey servants who still appeared to keep their attention on her. Their sounds of whispers soon blended into the rest of the noise behind her as they exited the kitchen.
Gerda remained collected with a blank face once they roamed the now familiar halls.  She was relieved they were finally headed to the one place she had been desperately craving all day. She needed to be alone and regather her thoughts along with the broken string of emotions. Once they reached her room Gerda nearly rushed inside feeling the instant relief of knowing she would be unbothered.
"You did good today by holding yourself together and containing your emotions. Perhaps Borra may reward you some day." Celtra suggested as Gerda sat down on her bed.
"For being a healer you seem to know a great deal about him, what else do you suggest I do to gain some sort of trust out of him?" Gerda asked, wondering why Celtra was always advising her when it came to Borra.
"Yes, I'm a healer but I do have other gifts such as reading people and having a 'strong' intuition. I suggest you keep practicing on controlling your reactions around him and others. Prove to him that you're more than a weak human...there will come a day very soon where your skills will play an important role." Celtra said with that strange enigmatic spark in her eyes.
"How do you know I won't just take your advice and use it to gain his trust then kill him? Did you suddenly forget how I haunted your kind down and slaughtered them? If anything he might kill me once he grows tired of my presence." Gerda questioned, feeling baffled by Celtra's words.
"I know that if you truly wanted to kill him you would've attempted to do it by now but yet you haven't. I also know that at the moment he loathes you but for some odd reason he still can't bring himself to kill you. Take my advice and use it wisely." Celtra said before softly smiling and leaving the room.
Gerda stared at the spot that Celtra once occupied with a puzzled expression. Her mind pondered over their conversation. She was beginning to wonder if Celtra knew more than she was telling her. She stood up to undo her dress that was starting to feel too tight around her waist and chest. The sound of a tiny solid object hitting the floor caught her attention. She glanced down and felt her heart speed up. It was the thorn she had hid in between her breasts now laying on the wooden floor.
It was almost calling out to her as a reminder of the choice she had today when Borra requested her in his chambers. There were no guards or servants around to stop her from using it against him but yet she didn't. Celtra was correct when she mentioned how Gerda had the opportunity to kill Borra. Yet despite the choice, she couldn't do it. She had many opportunities to do it throughout the day but some urge refrained her from harming him.
Gerda wondered if what Celtra said about Borra resisting his urge of killing her held some truth. Earlier he did seem quite protective of her during the encounter with the creature offering to buy her. She wondered what he would do if she purposely put herself in harm's way. Perhaps one day she will test her luck and find out.
She picked up the thorn and tucked it under her pillow with her mind in deep thought. Gerda became curious as to why he truly kept her alive.She silently threw on a sheer, white nightgown and laid down with the full force of exhaustion taking its toll on her.
Maleficent Imagine
Udo x Oc Warnings: Violence, Death
My name is Jane. I am the leader of the Forest fae and one myself. My eyes wander upon the children who are playing, waiting for my husband to come back from the Meeting. Ivory, one of the youngest tundra faes, is in my arms and plays with my dark brown hair which match my Wings. Elenore, a forest fae girl who has jet to learn to fly, tugs on my coat. I get down to look at her. She smiles up at me and holds up a flower, which she procedes to stick in my hair next to my horns. I smile at her and cares the back of her head, in which flowers appear and waver in her hair. She runs back to the other children and keeps playing with them. I stand up and see my husband Udo, a Tundra fae, flying towards me. As he lands next to me and gives me a kiss on my forehead, close to my horns. The children run to him eager to learn to fly.
J: How was the meeting ?
U: Borra thinks that the Humans want to go to war with us again.
J: Beacuse of the other fae ?
U: She was shot with a Iron bullet.
I nod.
J: What did Connal say.
U: What do you think he said.
J: No what else, he always wanted Peace just like us.
We start to train the children to Fly. Dalia a Jungel fae is next. She lets herself fall and Fly. I see Connal and Maleficent.
J: Does she have them, the power ?
U: Yes, she threw Borra at a wall with her powers.
I laugh slightly. At night we all sit together and Celebrate. Ivory still playing with my Hair almost falling asleep. Her Mother comes and grabs her to go to sleep. One of the Forrest Faes, Kamia, goes to Maleficent and hands her a Branc which she takes with a smile, but then she gets up and leaves. Borra and Connal go after her. As it gets late and the children are all asleep, me and my Husband fly to our nest in the forrest. I lay next to him my head on his shoulder as he wraps his wings around us and lays one hand on my Stomach.
J: I can't wait till they are here.
U: Me neither my love.
I give him a kiss. The next day I stand next to my husband. Him as the leader of the Tundra Faes, me as the leader of the Forrest Faes. I am not a person for War, but the Humans are at fault that my Brother Connal, not by blood but by Choice, is dieing and I want revenge.
B: Connal wanted peace and they filled him with iron, now we will have a war our fight beings now !
We all agree with him.
S: We will fight together !
I look at Shrike.
I: We will die Together !
I look to Ini.
J: And we will show no Mercy !
Our faces painted with war paint, we fly towards the Human city. I give my husband one last look bevor flying next to him as we see the castle. When suddenly bombs of Red powder explode on a few of our kin and they wanish into thin air. Screaming we retreat. We stay low so they can't see us and start atacking them over the wall, when even more power begins to explode. I'm flying next to my husband, but in the next moment I can't see him and grow worried, franicly looking around for him. While fightig the guards my vison blury through tears. I get impaled with a bullet, right in my arm. I crash into the ground. Guards start suronding me when I see her Maleficent. I fight of the guards and Rise back to the sky and I see Thalia and a bullet flying towards her ad Quickly as I can and push her aside. As I see Maleficent being Reborn as the Phoenix, the guards flee but we stand our ground and watch her save Aurora her Daughter. Me and my kin get down on our Knees and bow to her. Just as she transforms back we rise again. As she breaks her Curse. I franicly look around for My husband with tears streaming down my Cheeks. When I finally see him I run to him and we both Crash to the ground. I hear some others chuckling at us, but I don't care and neither does he.
J: I thought I lost you.
U: I'm here.
I rest my forehead against his.
U: Are you Ok.
I nod and he gives me a kiss. We all gather for the wedding and the elder come to us with the Children, Ivory direcktly ataccing to my side after hugging both her parents. After the Wedding all Faes settle in the Moors and with Maleficents powers we make environments for all Faes. 6 months later Udo and me welcome our daughter Elaria into this world, she has Udos piercing ice blue eyes and her wings are a Mix of my Dark brown and his White feathers her hair is just as dark as mine with a few white strands. We lay in our Nest Elaria on my Chest silently sleeping away, Udos wings wraped around us.
U: She is perfect.
I nod and give him a kiss.
J: Just like you.
He smiles at me and caresses Elarias cheek. 4 Years after we all settelt in Elaria learns to fly. Udo with her and other children are on the cliff, me watching from afar with our 1 year old son Ethri, who has Grey blue eyes, komplete white Wings and Dark brown hair, on my Hip. She jumps down and fly's to us. Ethri claps while looking at his older sister, she squishes his face and gives him a kiss, to which he sqeels. I give her a kiss on her head and she fly's back to her dad. I fly to the lake at the Moors next to Borra.
B: How did she do ?
J: Great. Better than you.
I look at him form the side.
B: Ha Ha.
J: What, she didn't fall into the lake at the cliff four times.
B: You also fell.
J: One time, because Connal pushed me.
Ethri steches his arms to Borra, who gently takes him and Ethri plays with his dreads.
B: His horns are growing.
J: I know it kept us up half the night.
He laughs. Ethri flutters with his wings and whines.
J: Someone is Tired.
Ethri lays his head on Borras shoulder.
B: Uh Jane ?
J: Yes ?
B: Could you Um...
J: Nope.
He looks at me.
B: Why ?
J: He will wake up if I do it and he bearly slept this night.
We sit down by the Lake and talk until I get tackelt from behind and arms sling around my middle.
E: Mommy I'm Tired.
She clibs in my lap and lays her head on my shoulder.
J: Where is your Papa ?
U: Here.
He sits next to me. Borra slowly hands Ethri to Udo and flys off. Ethri fusses a little but then nusels into Udos neck. Elaria falls asleep in my arms.
J: We should head to our nest.
We fly to our nest and with one last look at our family we fall asleep with our kids in our arms.
I'd really like an Udo x reader, please! He deserves more love!
Udo x human!Reader with a heavy dose of pining and the promise that Udo and Guin are getting a full-fledged fic.
                                        Your mother was going to have to help you straighten your hair again soon.
Technically, she didn’t have to. You were a grown woman; you could do it by yourself, though it would be far easier to ensure every last strand was as smooth as it ought to be when you had help. Your mother’s help. No one else had ever touched your hair, and rightfully so, in your opinion (until earlier that day). Until Udo reached out, as though instinctively, and brushed back your hair from the shell of your ear. The temperance of his skin was not what jolted you into alertness – though you had not corrected him when he believed it to be – but the gentility of his touch.
It put all manner of thoughts in your head that had no business being there.
You allowed your brush to pause mid-stroke. It was perfectly natural to be lonely. Richard had been gone for nearly a year; the love of your family was unconditional, infallible, and always present to ward off the worst of your yearnings, but it was not the same as having your hand held by someone who loved you. Watching a gaggle of children run throw a meadow of wildflowers, your son among them, and feel at home beside the person at your side. You had only known Udo for a short time, but his daughter was your son’s best friend; you knew him to be a good father, a responsible and devoted caregiver, willing and able to care for children who were not his own.
You just couldn’t decide if you wanted him to love you.
Or, worse still, if you could even acknowledge your feelings in return.
You did not hear the breath of your bedroom door opening, nor the brush of Udo’s wings against the frame as he leaned in to tell you, “The children are asleep.”
You startled. Dropping your brush, you made sure your dressing gown was closed over your nightdress – it was one thing to sit around thinking about him, another entirely to sit in your bedroom, practically bare, when he was a guest in your home.
“I am so sorry,” you began, standing from the bench you’d set before your dressing-table.
The corners of his lips quirked, but did not fully upturn. “You did not hear me?”
“No.” And you should not have gone about dressing for bed until he’d left. What kind of a fool were you? “I should’ve. I don’t know why I’d forgotten you were here—”
“Guinevere,” he cut you off gently, “you are allowed to be comfortable in your own home.”
No, you admitted by way of breathing out rather harshly, you were not. There were standards – rules of propriety, let alone laws of etiquette that you’d miraculously failed to adhere to. A small handful of months under new reign, peace and prosperity and political alliances with entirely new races of fey and you’d forgotten a lifetime of court lessons (many of which had been engrained in shame under Queen Ingrith’s perpetual disapproval). You were not allowed to undress while a male acquaintance resided in your home unless you were chaperoned, which you were most certainly not. Never mind entertain thoughts of courtship with said male acquaintance. Not in the position you were in.
“Aspen and Rojan decided to stay in Arthur’s room. Violet, Dawn and Aya will sleep in your mother’s.” It was only fair, as six children could hardly be asked to share one bed.
You nodded, though the result of that conclusion did not strike you fully until Udo opened the door a bit more as if to enter.
The children occupied every other bed in your home. Which left him with nowhere else to sleep but in your room, with you.
There were alternatives, of course. You could politely relinquish your bed and go sleep with the girls, if there was room. He was your guest; courtesy dictated that you would sleep on the floor if that was what you must do in order to make your guests comfortable, regardless of whether or not said guest understood or acknowledged the social rules that had been engrained into you since childhood.
“Is the front door bolted?” you asked, though the smallness of your voice betrayed you. A moment’s extra time would not buy you much in the way of thought, but—
“It is,” he replied.
Damn. Maybe he knew more than you gave him credit for.
Maybe you shouldn’t have had that thought, lest you start entertaining the idea that the children were filling up every bed in the house and Udo knew what sharing a bed with you would mean to an observant, human outsider. Like your mother, if she returned from the palace earlier tomorrow than she said she would.
“The candles are extinguished,” he left the door open, though, which you could not bring yourself to protest. If the children needed you, it was the easiest way for them to reach you, but it also afforded some sense of lacking privacy – some persistent reminder that you were not hiding away in a love-nest somewhere, and you could be walked in upon at any time, so there was no reason to entertain the idea of being held by him while you slept. Caressing the length of one of his long feathers to see if they were really as soft as they looked. No, you absolutely could not do that.
“Except yours.”
The blue of his eyes was as clear and bright as the winter’s midday sky. . It was not the first time they’d caused you to lose your train of thought (nor the softness in his angular features or the grace in his approach). He joined you, only a pace away from the wool blankets that still lingered atop your bed for those cold, late-spring nights.
What would it feel like to be pressed against him under them?
“My what?”
His bright eyes glimmered. Surely, your voice must’ve betrayed you.
Your face warmed. You had to resist the impulse to pull your sleeves lower so you could fuss with the loose thread on your inner sleeve – it was not ladylike to pull at your clothing, or divert your gaze when someone spoke to you.
“Your candle.” His wing extended as though he gestured with the patterned end of his long feathers.
Yes. That would make sense. If he had truly put everyone to bed and extinguished the other candles – even checked the door to ensure your safety – your candle would be the last one to remain lit, would it not?
“Oh.” Very eloquent. You could almost feel the sting of a silver teaspoon across your knuckles.
“Are you ready to sleep?” He lowered his head ever so slightly toward you. Though some part of you knew that he would be searching your eyes for a response (or, perhaps because of it), yours lifted to the points of his horns, as though expecting them to lower near enough to touch the top of your own head. Never mind that they were another head above the advantage in height he already had.
“I suppose.” You tore your eyes away. Fetched your brush off the dressing table and placed it, bristles-down, in one of the topmost drawers of your chest-of-drawers. Tomorrow’s gown awaited you on the back of your dressing screen, and though it did not necessarily please you to imagine waking early to ensure you had time enough to dress before he joined you, you supposed it was only one morning. Perhaps, after sleeping, tomorrow would not be as awkward as it seemed tonight.
Udo gestured for you to take to your bed. He must’ve wanted you to do as you always did, though he must’ve known you deliberately would not; the opposite side of the bed was your usual sleeping-area, and you made sure to remain as near to the edge as comfortably possible lest he not have enough room for himself and his wings. (Surely, he wouldn’t, but you could no more control that than you could control the lack of adequate sleeping space for two adults and six children in a house meant for three.)
He extinguished the candle with a soft breath.
Yet, even in the darkness of a house at night, you saw the whiteness of his robes. The brightness of his hair. You watched him unwind his topmost layer from around his wings, and relieve himself of it in a folded square like the cloak of a formal coat. It was placed gingerly upon your dressing-table, as though he was uncertain as to whether or not it would be allowed there.
You had the nagging feeling he knew you could still see him.
His underclothes fit to his body more closely than you imagined they might.
You had no business thinking about his underclothes. Even if they were not underclothes in the sense you knew underclothes to be. Clothes under a coat. That kind of underclothes, not….Lord in Heaven, do not lie there wondering if he wears underclothes beneath what he already has on.
He drew his wings close to him before he lay down. He did not draw back the wool blanket that you had crawled beneath, and you did not realize he might see the flicker of unwarranted hurt that crossed your face.
“Would you like a blanket of your own?” you murmured.
“No.” He settled atop his wings, flexing them only a bit, and interlaced his hands carefully atop his stomach. “Thank you. This is a much warmer climate than my own.”
Oh. Of course.
Everything was perfectly reasonable, in the end. You shared a bed because there was no other reasonable alternative. Your children were friends, nothing more, and you often participated in such awkward exchanges because you were still culturally uncertain with one another, nothing more.
You had to force yourself to turn away. “Goodnight, Udo.”
You could only hide so much from someone who lay beside you. Udo watched the tension in your shoulders ease. Listened to your breath begin to deepen. Nervous as you were, the weight of his body beside yours did not disrupt your peace. In fact, he waited until he believed you were past the cusp of sleep to murmur, as if he believed you would not hear, “Goodnight, Guinevere.”
“Sometimes I think Borra could learn something from his daughter,” Udo mused. “And other times, I swear Virgie would turn my hair white if it wasn’t already.” Please, Udo. You’ve raised so many children that an unruly, lost then found desert fey ought not to be that much trouble.
