I was actually pretty milquetoast about Marianne during FE16, then the momo sobfest from FEH made me sigh, and her perf in Nopes, especially in Golden Shower "They see that magic as the goddess's protection? Their faith has blinded them!" and "People do horrible things when their faith becomes tainted with fear. We must stop them at once!" was just... ugh.

(Rhea's magic comes from Sothis you moron, as a Nabatean her powers come from Sothis herself! And yes, their faith has been tained by fear because you and your stupid general are assaulting them and they're making their last stand! no amounts of "i'm still not sure we're doing the right thing" can be used as a plaster to make up for those leaps in logic!).

The GD in general just became friends of Supreme Leader, and all this uwu about her, regardless of the thousand randoms (even from the Alliance and, hell, her own people!!!) dead/suffering is just icing on cake.

Just like Lys who wags her tail because Supreme Leader gave her some sweets, the GD peeps have no substance and are of no interest to me tbh.

There is a difference between sports like hunting or field trials, herding trials, etc. and actual work. If one actually sat down and spoke with people who do the actual work, you get largely introduced to it. BCs are a hard breed to really apply to this, as the breed was developed largely alongside herding trials, if not for herding trials, from their more landrace variety. But a Labrador bred for field trials is different from a Labrador bred to hunt, and many hunters - actual hunters - will tell you this. Field trial dogs are faster, less likely to chill out, will exhaust themselves faster, and typically don't know how to lay in a blind or boat for a few hours without getting restless. Sometimes they even have coat or bodily differences that makes them less suited for the task (i.e. field Labradors being bred like rockets and struggling in waters that aren't calm). There is a lot of cross over, sure, but many of them will explain that often, a dog good at hunting will not be good at field trials, especially higher levels, or vice versa. It isn't saying one is better than the other. It's just a different purpose. It's why it's important to ask about *actual* work when looking for a working dog that you may be relying on for food, animal care, etc. And not all sports are created equal - AKC herding trials are far different from USBCHA (which don't give titles, but still). But a BC that only gets trialed every other weekend is not the same as the dog working the farm daily, usually; there's different skills involved. Not to mention daily work puts a lot more stress on the body over a dog only working one or two weekends a month and a handful of training days the same month. I don't like being told I'm wrong, like most people, especially when this is something I *am* educated in and spend way too much time reading about and studying and talking to people, as well as *actually having done this stuff*. I especially don't like it when the person who spent multiple posts arguing with me, speaking down to me, and twisting my words then goes on to answer an ask and say the exact same information they said I was wrong for saying. It helps that quite a few people have said over Discord and privately that this is what that person does, but it's annoying and it felt, outright, like being singled out. Saying, "This breed doesn't work anymore" is not dooming the breed. A handful of hobbyists doing a sport that you have to apparently get into the in crowd to find even smaller numbers doing something as *actual* work does not make the dog a working breed still, and there's nothing shameful about that. Hell, if it does make a breed a working breed for that particular work, then BCs are a hunting breed, they're a protection breed, etc. because there's handfuls of those competing in venues like that or doing it to *actually* give their owners food on their table. I just find it amusing that we were saying the same thing (if you take into account what they're saying NOW), yet I get accused for wanting a breed for something incredibly off-kilter when I never said that, I explained I *had* reached out to breeders of that particular breed to be told exactly this, etc., and I am still singled out as the one that was wrong. And few acknowledges this person did a completely turn around with their opinion after I blocked them unless it's personal friends.

Sligthly related to the previous post, but even if it's all jokes and laughs, I like the idea that one of the reasons why Dain says this referring to Furina isn't simply to throw shade at her, but because he might be aware that even gods need consolation. So in some way it boils down to "if not even gods can't help themselves, how can they humans?".

Oops! Ah crud.. Bai blinks down at the broken headset with a grimace. There were some pros to being friends with the Monkie Kid. And with those pros, came some cons too. Aka, clumsiness.

With that said, it doesn't stop the rush of butterflies Bai felt when MK handed her his own pair. Her cheeks darken a little in color when she looked down at them. It was genuinely so sweet of him, considering she always saw him with that headset.
