The altar runs black with blood.
The stars shift in the sky.
Something unspeakable enters the world.

I drew a more human version of the Wheel.
I also have a headcanon that the Wheel and [redacted] are the same person (just for fun guys, don’t take it seriously)

Of course, I wanted to come up with reasons for the existence of the humanization of The Wheel, but there are no specific ideas(and also, sorry for misgendering it, Idk then that its pronouns were actually it/its)

Sometimes I have to laugh at how much people bicker over the ways in which different cultures use the same thing, how there’s a “right” way that’s THE BEST, and how we get strangely offended when someone does something different with it. Consider these examples from the famous World War Tea post (paraphrased):
“Where do you live that your tea is LIQUID?”
“China’s had tea CENTURIES longer than you, England, don’t pretend you’re an expert.”
“You drink your tea ICED?!?”
As if it weren’t all tea, a highly versatile plant that can be brewed and drunk in a million different ways that appeal to different taste buds and cultural palates.
Just imagine if we did this with other things, equating our favorite use as the only PROPER use. Like, hear me out, imagine if we had done this with the wheel.
“WHY would you put FOUR WHEELS on one vehicle? Chariots are clearly superior because they only need two!”
“Trains make no sense, I mean wheels made of METAL?!”
“I can’t imagine why, with the invention of cars, people are still riding those ridiculous BICYCLES.”
Where was I going with this… Ah right. We’re all a bit silly about our preferences and need to chill. Thank you.

THE WHEEL[chibi]
meant to be part of a set of valentines featuring the dead hours but I realized it was too late for that by the time I had to go to work today, so the sketches are being turned into properly rendered pieces
