It's amazing to read Kyoshi's novels and realize that Rangi (her girlfriend) has a massive crush on Avatar Kyoshi's hands, who has the biggest hands in the entire Avatar pantheon.

This is a snippet of Jianzhu's description of Kyoshi's hands, and why her earthbending is on a large scale:

"Like a person whose fingers were too thick and clumsy to pick up a grain of sand."

The fact is that Rangi loves Kyoshi's hands very much, even after they're crackled with lightning and become much coarser.

Rangi must be in love with the difference in size between her hands and Kyoshi's, and this is so cute!
