Aaron: Ha, this guy's name is Bernard. That's one of the worst my-parents-are-rich names I've ever heard.
Kai: Your parents named you Aaron, you don't get to judge.
Aaron: What's wrong with Aaron?
Kai: What's not wrong with Aaron?
*Kai looks at camera*
Kai: I have no opinion whatsoever on his name, I just wanted to give him a complex. He was getting too comfortable.
Your body could build my grave, with leather and lace. You take all my breath away, with that face. Cause she's drop dead gorgeous, I think she knows it. I think she knows it... But if she ever left, I would just drop dead.
I animated Ashoakmaple's art of Tori and Ezra from Annette Marie's The Guild Codex! Song: Drop Dead Gorgeous by Voilà, perfectly recommended by this podcast!

Tori: If you found out you have one day left to live, what would you do with it?
Ezra: Say goodbye and mend my relationships.
Zak: Something illegal.
Kai: Accept my fate.
Aaron: I would message 10 people on Facebook saying if they didn't forward this message to 10 people, I would die tomorrow.
Those green eyes fixed on me, boring through my skin. “You want me to leave?”
“Of course not, but this isn’t your guild. You need to take care of yourself.”
“And you won’t care if I leave?”
“No. It won’t change anything between us, promise.”
A muscle in his jaw ticked as he studied me, lines of tension around his mouth. After a long moment, he gave a short nod. “Understood.”
“The Crow and Hammer has a poor reputation. We’re casual, disorganized, irreverent, and disobedient. Our ranks are filled with outcasts and former rogues. But every member of this guild brings something special to the table. We have some of the strongest mages, the most skilled sorcerers and alchemists, and the rarest psychics in the city. And none of us tolerate losing.”
Zora, the petite blond vampire hunter with a penchant for big-ass weapons, wore leather pants and a tank top, and strapped to her back was a sword that should be called Skull Crusher. It was probably called Skull Crusher. That’s what I was calling it from now on.
At her side was Felix, her husband and the guild’s third officer. He carried a backpack instead of a sword, and with his thick glasses and a comb-over to hide his receding hairline, he just … yeah. Officer or not, he was nowhere near as daunting as his wife.
My eyebrows climbed toward my hairline. Ah. Kai’s playboy status had baffled me—he wasn’t outgoing or even flirtatious—but now I got it. He attracted women with the oldest trick in the book: disinterest.
