So it's been a while since I've fiddled with AI, and even longer since I posted some AI Chat shenanigans. But I was doing a fluff Christmas story for my mental health and THIS happened. It's so stupid, I had to share.

I don't even know. I laughed my ass off at the "pregnancy" reveal and I had to keep going just to see what would happen. Leonardo got VERY upset when Mona told him his kids from the asexual pregnancy would all be little genetic clones of him and he wouldn't be having any daughters. Apparently, he really wanted one. He also had an emotional breakdown when Mona asked him how many eggs did he think he would be laying. Apparently he is not prepared to be a sudden father of around 7-11 babies. (Average clutch size of a red eared slider)
Here are some more sketches of mama/papa Leo as I have been laughing about this all weekend.
Mona is still trying to wrap her head around his baby bump. Leo is chill about it.

TMNT AU Propaganda whooo
Hello, I'm back again. With fic this time.
I bingeread all of Call Me Here (I Will Appear) by @callmehere-iwillappear a little while back and it's so good! So heartbreaking but so heartwarming at the same time! And with both IMBI and CMH both being in the @tmntaucompetition we decided they are ghost buddies, and then they drew this adorable artwork and I had to write a little something because listen I need good things to happen to both of these boys.
So here you go! And please vote for both I May Be Invisible and Call Me Here in the TMNT AU polls tomorrow!
(And also 2 Arms Left, those boys aren't really in this fic but listen if you vote for both IMBI and 2AL then Ell and I will face off in the next round please it's so funny-)
cough ANYWAY HERE'S THE DRABBLE OK BYE (spoilers for both fics within)
Was getting abruptly kidnapped to an interdimensional sports tournament the weirdest thing that had ever happened to them? Hard to say, but it was certainly a surprise anyway. Right in the middle of Leo's very dramatic catatonia arc, too...
The place is a madhouse. There's so many different versions of himself and his brothers, some of them older, some of them missing limbs, and some of them from different universes entirely. There's cheerleading. There's fighting. There's an older Michelangelo giving all the visible Leos bats for some reason.
Leo guesses he shouldn't be too disappointed that even in this crowd, only his own specific brothers can interact with him; he hasn't had dramatic life-saving encounters with any of these other people, after all. He keeps getting walked through, talked over, and he can't very well take part in the actual basketball playing.
But it's fine! He can vibe! He's so cool with vibing. His brothers seem to be enjoying themselves, after all, and Pizza Supreme knows after the weeks they've been having they deserve something fun and... probably not life-threatening (he's still eying those bats, though). So he can just... watch. Spectate.
So fun.
He's standing by while Raph chats with a whole group of assorted Raphs, surveying the diverse crowd when it happens.
His eyes lock with another Leo's.
The other Leo seems just as startled as he is to be seen - his mouth pops open in surprise, posture going stiff in a mirror of Leo's own reaction. Other than that, there's no immediate signs; he's not see-through, or floating, or anything else one might expect. The only immediate difference he can see is that the three clones of his brothers standing near the other Leo are all wearing their own version of Donnie's goggles.
And yet, he still knows.
"Hey, I'm going over there for a sec," he says over his shoulder to Raph.
"What? Hey, don't wander off!"
"It's fine, big guy, I'll stay in range."
He trots off across the court, not bothering to dodge anyone who steps in his path. The other Leo and his group aren't too far away, and once he gets there, the two of them look each other up and down, like wary dogs unsure about entering another's space.
He gives the other Leo a very serious look, which is mirrored back to him.
And the other Leo starts them off.
"What's a ghost's favorite fruit?"
"Booberries. What's a ghost's favorite car?"
"A Boo-gatti. Why don't ghosts go out in the rain?"
It dampens their spirits. What-"
"Who are you talking to?" the other Donnie asks, turning their way. He has his goggles pulled down. Leo gives him a wave, but he doesn't seem to notice.
"Just another Leo," says the other Leo, before turning back to him. "You can't be seen by the goggles?"
"Nope. That hasn't worked for us."
"But I saw you say something to your Raph."
"Yeah! Raph can hear me, Mikey can see me, and Donnie can touch me."
"Huh. Sounds inconvenient!"
"Oh, it is." Leo shrugs. "Curses, man, what can you do?"
Something quick passes over the other Leo's face; he only notices because it's so like his own. "You were cursed?"
"Yep! Some bad guy thought it would be a good way to get rid of me. You?"
The other Leo's smile droops only slightly. "...Do you know about the Prison Dimension?"
Leo's own smile drops, and he hunches in on himself, which just makes the other Leo's grin slip further. It hurts; he was there, for real, and again too recently in his mind, and now he can say this with certainty, with clarity:
No Leo deserved that.
But this Leo, who has persisted after death, who's with his family now... even if it's a tragedy, Leo can admire that. And they can see him - they can apparently hear him, and Leo knows from experience that that's everything.
(And still not quite enough.)
"...That sucks," he says, because what else do you say?
The other Leo shrugs, looking a little self-conscious. "It's not too bad. Donnie's making me a body."
"Oh, that'll be sweet." Leo picks his grin back up. "Wait, can you actually touch stuff? Are you going to haunt a robot?"
"I can if I focus." He looks smug. "It takes practice, but I'm getting better."
"Whoa, nice. I can't touch anything other than Donnie. Can't float or anything, either."
"Me either!" The other Leo throws his arms up dramatically. "What a ripoff, right?"
Leo matches the movement. "That's what I've been saying!"
"Man. It's nice to finally talk to someone who understands."
"Heh, same here," says Leo. He reaches out to give the other Leo a friendly pat on the shoulder.
He expects his hand to just pass through. He doesn't expect it to connect.
It's not really feeling, not like when he touches Donnie. It's more like when he touches his own body - his hand stops moving through the air, but he's not getting any tactile sensation from it.
He doubts the other Leo can really feel it either, but the way his eyes latch on the point of contact tells Leo everything he needs to know.
He doesn't hesitate, just wraps his arm around the other Leo and pulls him in for a hug. He doesn't resist, just puts his own arms around Leo, and he can't feel it but he's pretty sure he's holding tight.
He doesn't ask how long it's been since he's been hugged; he feels like he doesn't have to.
They stay that way almost a minute (and he's glad for their reputation as Leos that no one can see them), before the other Leo pulls back. His eyes are glassy and his smile wavering, but it's real and it's there, and Leo can't help but smile back.
He decides to save them before this gets too mushy.
"Hey, you said you can touch things, right?"
"If I focus."
"Well!" Leo moves so his arm is draped around the other Leo's shoulders, walking him toward one of the goals. "Get ready to focus on making sick dunks."
Instantly, the other Leo's eyes light up with delight. "Ooooh ho ho ho yes. We are going to freak some people out!"
He offers his fist, and Leo gleefully bumps it.

I took inspo for his outfit from Casey(Sr.), Karai and tried to incorporate a kimono elements that usagi is always wearing, I put Hamato black and red, his signature color, Donnie's purple and dark purple for the hooded cloak
A family joke is that Donnie 'stole' him from Leo
But he's still a Papa's boy through and through
Leo used to call him his little Jade
I'm thinking either him or Mikey's daughter Elisebeta are Big Mama's heir favorite grandkid(s)
Still undecided on his mystic? Something like Donnie's or exactly, or maybe ice?
Both Shuichi and Sandro can make turtle noises, and have long claws like male sliders, they also hibernate thanks(more like nothanks) to the turtle brumation gene, and they have the third eyelid thing the turtles have that make their eyes pure white.

Your “Lone Turtle and Hunter” story is rattling around in my brain again, and I am getting all sad about how Leo probably won’t get to meet any of the Clones that Chula fought with, as they are all probably dead or Order 66’d by now. The thing is, I feel like maybe some serious bonding could have happened, because the Clones were made exclusively to fight in a war, but so were Leo and his brothers!!!
If Leo got to interact with the Clones, it might force some interesting introspection about what his life might have been like if Splinter hadn’t thwarted Baron Draxum’s plans. What would the turtles have been like if they had been raised as soldiers? What would the Clones have been like if they weren’t? It might also raise some interesting comparisons between the Clones, who were mass produced, and the turtles, who were the first prototypes. If Draxum’s had held onto the turtles, would he have made more like them? Would they have been the template, or a rough first draft with MANY changes made to the next iteration (thus implying that they weren’t good enough)?
Just, I think if the Clones got to meet the turtles, there might be some recognition between them as manufactured life that was created solely to cause destruction. Given that the Clones probably won’t be around to do any of this, I wonder if Chula will start to have some of these thoughts if/when she finds out more about her Foundling’s origins?

Yeah, Leo is not going to meet the Clones anytime soon. But I agree that the Clones and the Turtles have quite a fair bit in common, in terms of their creation anyway.
If I DID have Leo meeting the Clones, then that definitely would have been brought up at some point. Like, Leo asks questions, of course, learns about why the clones were made and is like 'oh! me and my brothers were kinda supposed to be that too! But our dad kidnapped us so we ended up not doing that.' And that would probably mess with a few Clones a bit, with them being like, 'you can just...not be an instrument of war? even if that the whole reason you were born???'
I am gonna jot that down for the non-canon short stories I wanna write. So, not a full deep dive into that but a fun little story of 'what if Leo ended up in the Star Wars universe right after the Clone Wars started' kinda deal.
Chula kinda knows Leo was made with the intention of being a soldier (from bits and pieces of conversations the two have had) but she doesn't want to bring it up. Mostly because thinking about it makes her wonder if she should have just kidnapped Astra and the 244th and ran into Wild Space at the beginning of the war.
She see Leo, bright and happy and free to be himself and can't help but think 'I could have given that to my kids.' And she was already a bit mad at herself for not putting her foot down with Astra and saying 'Forget your duty to the Republic, they haven't done a thing for you. We're kidnapping the 244th and building a farm in Wild Space.' But she hates that she didn't even more when she sees how happy all the turtles are.
It solidifies her resolve to get her Clone kiddos away from the Republic once she gets home, and drag Astra away from it too, kicking and screaming if she has too!
.....I mean, we all know that's not happening, but Chula can have that little fantasy for now.

You talking about a Lego Monkie Kid and TMNT 2012 and/or ROTTMNT crossover and/or reincarnation crossover au thing brings me so much joy. Can't tell u how much I now that in my life as someone who loves both TMNT and LMK so much.
I gotta say though, Rise Donnie as MK is a bit of a odd choice (would probably be very funny though). But I know that is like, the crack take, I think.
Also gotta ask, TMNT 2012 (or ROTTMNT) reincarnated into LMK crossover (au), who would u put to be reincarnated as who? Either a crack take or a more legit take and/or both?
To me, I could see, depending on the story I am going for or the character stuff I am going for or whatever, it could go many different ways. But I just wanted to see ur/others take(s) on it as well.
ROTTMNT LMK reincarnation AU(Really needs a name) is something more crack-ish for me to write. Considering when I thought who to put in each version, I thought it would be funny to have Donnie to be MK.
I could’ve chosen Lowe-key when Macaque was revive to suddenly have Donnie’s memories, but no. I chosen Mikey because I think him being Macaque is funny as well. Leo is coming close to second to Macaque
And April is obviously Mei. Cassandra can be Red Son lmaoooo
In ROTTMNT, nothing is really hold serious there, and I prefer it that way.
But TMNT 2012, I would say Mikey is MK. Rather basic but those are the best.
Tang Shen is related to Tang(cuz name and stuff), and Macaque is somehow roped into the Hamato life because he got acquaintance with Shen. How? Not sure yet.
Really debating hard if Mei to have reincarnated memories or not. Like do I want her as Mei, and actually a human friend that likes the Hamato because they didn’t save her or have April or Karai to be her.
While Mikey’s brothers is either still the same but different species eggs that Splinter had the sudden urge to steal and have no regrets on doing so or Im taking some characters in LMK to be reincarnated.
Unless we go to the crazy, dark, and depressing timeline where Mikey is the only one reincarnated and didn’t that like, so he decided to use his clones and use glamour on them and ta-da! Hamato family 2.0!
I really can’t do IDW right now since it’s not yet finished and I don’t have access to Vol 14
But if I finally finished 1987 TMNT, you can bet your pizzas that MK is Raph. Sassy little shit that breaks the fourth wall soooo much.
Sadly, for the TMNT movies, I really have no thoughts on them. 2003 is something in my watch list, that I will live blog. Surprisingly, the only spoiler I had is SAINW, Shredder is a Krang, Bishop ain’t a robot, Leatherhead is a scientist, Casey And April, and Baxter is a brian.
Mirage TMNT… i had barely past the first issue, so I’m a blank slate when it comes to them

So, since you've been enjoying the newest version of TMNT, I have to ask:
1) Have you seen the older Turtles Forever movie, a Turtles version of spiderverse.
2) Did you know there was a live action show of TMNT and they had a 2 episode crossover on an older Power Rangers show.
3) Also on that live action show they introduced a controversial female turtle. Which reminds me, I saw on YouTube that in a recent run of TMNT comics they brought back the 5th turtle as a possible clone/Frankenstein creation and in this comic, one of the Turtles loses their shell and had to get it replaced.
4) A thought that crossed my mind, how do you think the Turtles & April from "Rise" would react to a female turtle popping up?

Was She Just A Turtle That Ate An Ooze-Squito? A Human With A Pet Turtle/Works With Turtles And Got Biten By An Ooze-Squito? Did Donnie Fuck Around And Find Out Via Cloning??? Who Knows! Magix Ultra
Chapter 1
Mother of Ultra and Ultraman Hikari were in ultra clinic 78 with the Land of Lights newest arrival. An unknown Ultrawoman that came from a portal and crash landed on their planet.
She was purple with a bit of silver and had a slugger in the middle of her head. There was a pair of flat pigtails that were longer and straighter than Mother of Ultra's.
The flat side of her pigtails faced the sides unlike Mother of Ultra's pigtails that were facing the front. Her eyes were in the shape of tear drops with purple outlines around them.
She sported a diamond shaped timer on her chest and wrist braces that were a deeper shade of purple compared to her body.
Her eyes currently weren't glowing. It worried them at first because they thought she was dead but her timer was still glowing. So they took it as an indicator that she's just passed out.
"Scanners show that she's an ultra but... not a complete ultra." Hikari informed
"What? What do you mean?" Mother of Ultra asked him a little perplexed.
Hikari pulled up the information he had on the holographic screen.
"Ultras fully depend on light to sustain us. We typically receive light from the plasma spark or any other strong light force like the sun. But the body of this ultrawoman here seems to collect a low amount of light compared to other ultras. Instead, she seems to have something else sustaining her from deep within. In fact, there seems to be something else in her blood other than ultra blood." He informed her as the screen showed a normal ultra body beside the unknown ultrawoman's body for a clearer comparison.
Just then, Father of Ultra entered the room followed by Mebius, Seven, Zoffy, Leo and Astra.
"What is the current situation regarding this ultra?" Father of Ultra asked.
"She hasn't awaken yet but my research shows that she's quite different compared to other ultras. I've cross referenced our data base and can't seem to find any information about her..." Hikari answered.
They all looked at the holographic screen and read over the information gathered.
"Could she be clone? Perhaps a more advanced clone of darkness sent by an enemy." Seven suggested.
"That couldn't be. Darkclops are made from pure darkness and negative energy down to their core. But this ultra however has her own core of pure light and energy. She's also only half ultra while the other half is currently unknown. Whatever it is could be the reason for her ability to sustain herself without the need for outside light source." Hikari concluded his deduction.
"I also ran a DNA test to see if there was a match to Belial or Ultraman Geed. The results were negative and there were also no signs of any cloning genes either." He added.
Just then, the ultra on the gurney began to stir. Everybody was on high alert.Her eyes were lighting back up as a sign she was waking up. Then came Mother of Ultra's sweet and calming voice,
"Hello dear, are you awake now?"
"...Where...where am I?..." she asked a little out of it.
It was Mebius who answered, "You are currently in ultra clinic 78. You were brought here after crash landing near the ultra colosseum." The ultra seemed startled. "I...what?"
"It's alright dear, no need to panic. You're all better now. There are no major injuries even though you made a really big hole when you landed." Mother of Ultra tried calming her but hearing she crash landed and made a hole wasn't really helping.
She struggled a bit to sit up despite Mother of Ultra telling her to lay down. When she successfully sat up, she got a good look around her. She did a double take when she saw so many ultras standing around her, staring. Not to mention they looked intimidating except for Mother of Ultra.
When they asked for her name, she suddenly had a headache and held her head. A voice rang her head,
"C..a...r
C...hi...r..a..
Chiara..."
Mother of Ultra quickly checked her over and asked what's wrong. The pain was gone and she answered,
"I think...my name is...Chiara..."

They tried asking her more questions but she couldn't answer any of them. A further examination confirmed that she had amnesia.
After a discussion, they decided to leave her in the hands of the new generation ultras for the time being. So that's how Chiara ended up being introduced to Grigio, Geed and Zett.
"Hi! I'm ultrawoman Grigio! Happy!" Grigio flashed her signature happy gesture.
"I'm ultraman Geed."
"Yosh! I'm ultraman Z! Disciple of ultraman Zero!"
Chiara didn't expect to be greeted so cheerfully. For some reason she expected a wary and hostile meeting. But everyone seems so nice and welcoming.
"H..Hi! I'm ultrawoman Chiara. It's nice to meet you." She tried her best to sound confident and friendly.
"We heard about what happened." Geed said.
"You did?"
"Don't worry! Until you get your memories back we'll show you how to be an ultra!" Grigio exclaimed as she pulled Chiara with her followed by Geed and Z.
"Yeah! We'll try our ultra best to help you!"
Chiara felt confused "Ultra...?"
"Don't mind him. He just likes putting ultra in everything he says." Said Grigio.
They arrived in the training room where they saw ultras sparing each other on floating platforms. Chiara was amazed by it. One red and blue ultra caught her eye. "Who's that?"she asked.
"Hm? Oh, that's Zero." Said Grigio
"Zero?"
"She means Ultraman Zero. He's one of the legendary ultras that defeated Belial several times! And-!" Z went on with his fanboying rant while Grigio and Geed pulled her away.
"Leave him. When he starts fanboying he won't stop for another hour or at least until someone whacks his head." Said Geed.
Then Z realized he was left alone." Guys! Wait up!"
As they neared the platform, Zero jumped down followed by Rosso and Blu. It seemed like they were having a 1 vs 2 sparing match.
Grigio greeted her brothers cheerfully as usual and they were equally happy to see her. Chiara who was watching the happy sibling moment didn't notice Zero walking towards them.
"Master! It's ultra great to see you!"
"Tsk, I told you I'm not taking a disciple. Not for another 20000 years!" Then he noticed Chiara standing timidly behind Z and Geed.
"Who's this?" He asked.
"Oh..um..I'm ultrawoman Chiara. I just got here a few days ago."
"So you're the ultra that lost her memories"
"Wait, does everyone know? That I lost my memories."
"Well, word does spread fast. Especially since you crash landed here."said Geed.
"I'm Zero by the way. Ultraman Zero." Zero held his hand out for a handshake.
"It's nice to meet you." Chiara shook his hand for a few seconds before she was suddenly pulled away by Grigio.
"Chiara, come meet the rest!" She said excitedly. Unknown to them, Zero looked at the hand that she shook. The comforting warmth he felt still lingered.
"Her hand...it felt really warm."

Not Exactly
It's been quite a while since Mikey has been dating this girl, Clarie. She was a very pretty looking girl with ginger hair and freckles. Mikey would talk about her non stop. His brothers were starting to be very anoyed by it, but still happy for him. One day, Mikey brought the news that Clarie was inviting them for a dinner at her apartment so they could all meet properly. Mikey have told them that she has some unique beliefes about reincarnation, soul mates and aura. The turtles were all okay about this, promising to be respecfull with her. But, Raphael had an idea in mind. A very wild one.
"It's very nice to meet you guys. Mikey have told me a lot about you." Said Claire to the turtles.
"I hope he said good things about us." Said Leo.
"Oh yes, he did. You know, i have a gift that allows me to see through the aura of people. So i can have an idea about their personalities. Can i try it on you guys?"
"Well, sure. Alright."
"You, Leonardo. I can see the color blue not just in your eyes or your mask. There's a calm blue deep in your heart, i can see a strong feeling of bravery, patience and stealf. You would do anything to protect your family."
"You bet, Clarie. I'm impressed with you."
"Thank you, Leo. It's hard to get reconized this days. My parents keep saying that i'm schizophrenic, but what do they know?! Right?"
"Yeah, right." Said Donnie, trying his best not to sound sarcastic.
"I've always felt different from the others. Like i could see through another universe. You know, there are a bunch of them spread through the galaxy. In each of them are a different reality, with alternative versions of each of us with new possibilities in a life time."
"Hey, Clarie. Sorry to interupt ya, but, can i say something?" Asked Raphael.
"Of course, Raphael. Go ahead."
"So, i guess i believe in ya about this whole universe stuff. Cause last night, i've had a dream where i was in this same apartment with you, but different. We were all alone and there was a music playing and then you called me to the room and we made love to each other. Isn't that crazy?!"
"Raph, shut up." Said Leo roughly. Already knowing the dirty plan that he had on his sleeve.
"No, Leonardo. Let him finish."
"Well, now that i am here i can still feel that imma going back to that dream with ya, not on the same scenario but the energy is sucking me into these loving memories. I know that ya love Mikey and i don't wanna disturb your relashionship, but..."
"No, Raphael, we both understand it."
"Yeah, bruh! Clarie explained all of this realities stuff so it's totaly plausible."
"And you know, Raphael, when you first enter in my apartment i felt that something was odd about you, but i didn't want to bring it out. But i can't believe that you feel the same way. It's soo overwelming." She got up and headed to the hallway, entering a room. Raph was left counfused.
"Where did she go?" He asked.
"She needs some time to get ready. The room is the second door to the left."
"Wait, Mikey! You can't be seriuos!?" Protested Leo in a firm ton.
"I'm dead serious, bruh. Clarie told me it's not good to not follow the same energy as our auras. It just has to be."
"Raphie..." She called him from the hallway with a very sexy voice. He stayed still for a few seconds until he snaped out.
"Can i really...?" He ask one more time to his little brother.
"Go ahead, brah. Take good care of her."
"Fuck yeah!" He cheers before getting up and heading to the room slaming the door behind him.
"MIKEY!!!" Leo and Donnie yelled at him.
"Hey, calm down, guys. It's passed 10pm, we're not allowed to make much noise."
"Mikey, how can you be so stupid?! Letting Raph sleep with your girl like this?! What the fuck?" Leo snapped out at his brother.
"Relax, bros. The energy he felt is..." Mikey tried to explain but he got cut by Donnie.
"The hell with that energy nonsence! We're talking comitment here! She's your girl, you don't just give her away like this."
"So, guys, what's gonna be now? Monopoly or Uno?!" Clarie appears sunddently back at the living room. Surprising both of the turtles.
"Whaaaaaat???" Donnie mutters in counfusion.
"Aren't you in the room with Raph?"
"Of course not! I love Mikey and Mikey only!" She hugs the turtle in orange by the neck and kisses him on the cheek.
"Then what was all of that talk about realities and make love to Raph?"
"Let me explain, this apartment is acctualy my sister's. We're identical twins." She showed a picture of her with another girl. They were dressed in the same pattern of clothing and shared the same hair cut. Even thought they looked younger than now the resemblance was very clear. "I told her about tonight's dinner and she said she would stay in her room to leave us more comftarble. But she joked that if one of Mikey's brothers were interested then i could send him to her room."
"Aw fuck! Yeah! Keep going!" Raph's voice ecooed from the room. He was clearly having a good time in there.
"How did you get out of there without him knowing?" Asked Donnie.
"I just went to ask her if that's okay and then i hid in the bathroom."
"So, he thinks that he's with you, but it's acctualy another girl that he doesn't even know?"
"He won't even noitice because we have so many similar features, we're like clones of each other."
"Yeah, today i almost gave her a slap thinking she was Clarie." Mikey said a little ashamed.
"So, he's basicly fucking with a stranger right in that room?"
"Well, she won't be a stranger once they finish and he finds out that she is my sister."
"Oh man, i realy wanna see his face when he came out. It's gonna be hilarious." Said Leo with a chuckle.
"I gotta text Casey about it. He'll laugh his ass off." Said Donnie grabing his phone.
"And you wanna know the best part? Is that the dream he told me about, that wasn't me! It was Heather! Their auras were calling each other for this very first encounter of soul mates. They don't know yet, but they're just meant to be." Clarie said with a dreamer look in her face. It was like it was the most beautiful thing in the world.

Hey can I get a rundown of what happened in the finale if you have time? I've been out of the fandom for a while but I shill check back in on your blog (cause legit your one of the best writers I know hands down), and all I know is Donnie's a robot and raph has a beard? Like, no wtf he can't grow hair??? Also Casey's dead? Maybe? Is April alive n well? Ugh so many questions, I'm sorry.
okay so here we go with the quick rundown:
- yeah raph grew a nasty beard. no we didn’t get an explanation for why that is or how it was possible. but that’s the least awful thing about this shitty finale. (raph also doesn’t remember anything about their former lives, and perpetually is a grumpy old man. this was endearing until it was annoying.)
- donnie is a robot now, functionally immortal and probably the least insane of the brothers. honestly he was one of the only two good things about this whole mess. protect the robo turt.
- casey is assumed dead, like april and the rest of their human-ish friends, seeing as they’re not shown in the episode at all beyond a skull that’s implied to be casey’s, but i call bullshit on all that.
- partially because i doubt donnie would actually let his amnesiac brother use the skull of one of their best friends as a homemade bomb ornament, and partially because april and karai were both mutants and should have survived the mutagen bombing.
- april was literally the most mutant individual in the cast, being one straight from birth and from a line of mutagen immune part-kraang experiments. she and karai, also a mutant, should have been perfectly fine with their badassery and individual powers.
- honestly the stuff about karai and april being dead is such bullshit, i stg.
- mikey got a horrendous makeover that is not just racist but also severely out of character. would the most social of the brothers really isolate himself like that in the desert? and if he knew where the green place was, why the fresh hell hadn’t he been chilling there all along?? nah. that was just slopppy ooc stuff right there.
- leo was. ugh. also really ooc. even worse makeover than mikey, turned into essentially a terrible hulk clone ripoff that resembles a nipple. why did he call himself maximus kong?? that has no connection with any of his sci-fi interests or obsession with bushido code. wtf.
- no seriously look at him. mutant nipple man. its a fucking tragedy.
- the actual plot of the episode arc revolved around this sweet stabby bean, who is the second part of the “only two good things about this finale” i talked about:
^^^mira, a lesbian who deserves a better family than this freakshow.
- her backstory is ambiguous but basically her clan of meerkats all had the green place’s location tattooed on their body, and they got wiped out when people started trying to find the green place. she enlists the help of raph and donnie- (read as: beats them up and tricks them a bunch of times until they’re too entrenched into her drama to runaway anymore)- and they all try to make it to the fabled green place, which was never really explained or expanded on. it was just a random oasis that magically grew in a barren landscape and had clean water to drink from.
- people are headcanoning that april made the green place and is the “green goddess” that mira once referenced when giving raph her blessings. i agree with this headcanon.
- anyways: the main antagonist, maximus kong, turned out to be leo when they got down to it, cue big reunion and angst scene between him and raph no wonder tcest exists, and then leo magically remembers their former lives after being slapped around a bunch and blown up. happily ever after or some shit from there, living in the green place.
it makes?? no fucking sense??? narratively this was a shitshow, visually it was a shitshow, and emotionally it disappointed me so badly my heart made a little black hole in my chest.
i want 2+ years of investment in this disaster series back from ciro. this finale was just him ensuring no one else could ever touch his “masterpiece”, and ensuring my undying loathing of his work.
