Scrapped artwork I've done for a small collaborative VN project with my best friend @spagonia! It's going to be about Ultraman but veers more towards horror and features a bunch of New Gen characters too.
The project itself is still in the works but is currently on hold.
in 2021 I participated in the making of ‘shuwatch!! the ultraman fan zine’ for volume 2! I was able to draw a piece for one of my favorite series and a postcard set :D
it was awesome seeing so many works all going towards a good cause! I had a blast with these pieces and was an amazing learning experience to experiment with new mediums and techniques!!
Belial, scooting away from R/n: I'm going to the bathroom.
R/n, feeding Isla a bottle: K.
Riku, brow furrows: Wait, why do you need the bathroom?
Belial: To relieve myself, why else?
Riku: You can pee?!
Belial: Well, if I can drink, I can pee. that's usually how it works.
Riku: ...How?
R/n, She looks at Riku oddly: The same as you 'duh'.
Riku, looking between them: But...He doesn't have...
Belial, flustered as he catches on: Wait, Do you think I don't have a dick?
Riku, gesturing to Belial's body: I mean, It's like a Ken doll...
Belial: How do you think I made your sister with R/n, Space magic??
Riku: Well...So, wait, the suit can come off??
Belial: You don't how to-*Riku shrugs*...Unbelievable! That Zero brat couldn't even teach you the most common ability our people have?!
[Belial grumbles under his breath as his color timer turned yellow, and his body starts to glow; the armored layer fades away, revealing the scarred and dimly luminescent body hidden underneath (It's kind of like Alien X's starry body from Ben10).]
Belial: There! Does that sate your curiosity, boy?
Riku, staring wide eye: Whoa, I... I didn't know we could do that.
R/n: Hey, you're finally wearing those briefs I bought you.
Belial, wearing black briefs with fireballs on them: Hrm...(Walks to the bathroom.)
Emi Aobe (Himena Tsukimiya) from Ultraman Blazar hanging out with Pega from Ultraman Geed (top), and Marluru from Ultraman Trigger (bottom) at the Ultraman Expo.
One of my favorite things in any story is having a character who is told they are destined to be evil defy fate by choosing to do good. It's 100% my shit.
Extra points if that evil destiny is tied to their bloodline, because it usually leads to them using the evil powers they inherited for good, and it's a rejection of the idea of blood relations dictating someone's life.
Digital orders for volume 3 of @ultra-zine are up for order, now!! ( link here ) Here is my piece from volume 3, Belial Vs Riku, on Riku's comfortable territory!
