So I watched That 90′s show pilot and I have two (strong) things to say: (put under the cut so not to spoil people that don’t want to be spoiled)
How does Kelso’s kid and Eric’s kid NOT know each other? Like I get it, maybe people don’t stay close as they age so I get that maybe the kids didn’t recognize each other because it had been a few years since they were all together but Leia was literally like “who are you?” and when he said “Jay Kelso” there was no reaction. In all these stories that Eric told his daughter about him and Donna’s high school shenanigans he never once mentioned Michael Kelso by name? Kelso never dropped by for a visit? Eric and Donna never visited him? COME ON WRITER’S!
They ruined Jackie Burkhart’s entire s5-s7 development by Mila Kunis’ 60 second appearance. So Jackie is re-marrying Kelso (for the second time apparently?). She’s screeching at him to hurry up like they never left high school? It killed me. Absolutely killed me. Jackie, my love, you deserve better.
#red kitty eric and donna were great though#if it was just about the four of them + leia i would continue watching it#but i can already see the plotlines for the new teenagers play out and i am not impressed#everyone is stereotyped into a role#which tbh is what happened on the original#but we got 7 seasons out of that show#and characters were allowed to evolve#i highly doubt netflix will let t9s go past s3 if it even gets there#that 70's show#that 90's show

I’ve just finished to watch That 90’s Show and I need to say even though I know it’s something that happens, I always will find so strange to see teens so concern abt sex, romantic relationships and being horny or talking abt it all the time. I know that the scriptwriters are the ones who made that weird weird really made out of nothing plot at the end of the series, but wdf man. A part of me it’s once again greatful that I’m aroace. I don’t get it.
