Willow: [Reads the question out loud for Hunter who is currently carving] Hunter, we got another question, but this one is for me. “So, has Willow gone out with a bunch of people?”
Hunter: [continues to hum softly as he carves]
Willow: I wouldn’t say a bunch of people. I mean at first I didn’t pay attention to the people who would flirt with me, but as years went on and we all got older, everyone else was getting into relationships. I never really had a full on relationship, but once Luz got me on different dating apps (both for the human realm and the demon realm) I started to talk to a bunch of different people. [starts taking a big sip of the apple blood juice]
Hunter: [looks up from the palistorm wood in his hand and goes wide eyed]
Willow: But they didn’t go anywhere. No full on relationships, just a bunch of. Oh Titan, what’s the weird word that Luz and Gus have been using lately? They found it on the app with a lot of short videos of the humans dancing or dressing up or passing the phone to people…? [Turns back and looks at him]
Hunter: [sits up quickly and sweats and laughs nervously] Yeah! Ummm, that’s the weird in-between Jerbo and I stayed in for like a month or so? Right? Like a situational relationship?
Willow: [turns back towards the computer] Thanks, Hunter! Situationship, was what I was looking for. I’ve had quite a few situationships occur, but nothing like a relationship. I’ve had one night stands before, I’ve had situationships where we went on dates for months but never made it official, and I’ve had situationships where we hooked up every once and a while and never really had any dates.
Hunter: [Abandons his work to come and sit next to Willow at the computer] Why didn’t any of them turn into relationships?
Willow: [smile with a shrug] I guess they just were never right for me. [looks back at him with a smile]
Hunter: [taken aback when Willow looks back at him, but after a moment he smiles back and his demeanor relaxes]
Willow: [after a beat turns back to the computer and laughs] Of course, it’s not so bad only having situationships under my belt! Besides, I know what I like, what I want, and what I’m good at!~ [crosses her left arm to her right arm and put her right hand under her chin and winked]
Hunter: [stares at her with wide eyes and then turns very red] W-What [clears throat] What kinds of things are you good at? [turns even more red]
Willow: [purses her lips more and cocks her head to the side] Why, Hunter? Would you like to take a situationship turn with me?
Hunter: [stumbles over words and looks away with a hand covering his face]
Willow: [stays still for another beat until she bursts out laughing so hard] I’m just kidding, Hunter!

Tyrel is usually very lax but he loves being the one that's two steps ahead and if he feels like somebody outplayed him he gets unbelievably pissed! I feel like it's the only thing he's ever really seen himself as very good at so when someone beats him at his own game he just turns into a fluffy rage creature. When Galfrey basically politically strongarms him into the Abyss, I like to think he's operating on pure spite until the moment he gets out.
💯 an achievement-themed headcanon
This one is so hard because baby girl is such a big loser lol I think a big part of Aria is that she ties so much of her self-worth to what her grandparents think of her that it's really hard for her to feel any sense of achievement for herself. Managing to teach herself how to use the pistol I think was very empowering for her in some ways though even though it's also sort of an unhealthy obsession. It's like the one thing in her life that she's super disciplined about and it's entirely self taught through manuals and books she's managed to find and just pure trial and error regarding how to hold it and how to stand when firing it.

1. What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work? (In other words, what do you think is the best introduction to your fics?)
Oh man. I've been trying to think about this since I saw yours. The majority of my work on AO3 is relatively fluffy/feelsy oneshots, but I feel like that's not really representative of what I write more of most recently? So I guess, much as I'd feel weird asking anyone to commit to a novel as their intro to me, I do think A Line in the Sand is probably the best representation of my writing. For anyone unfamiliar, this is my Fallout 4 Deacon/MacCready slow burn chapter fic born out of the question "How could I get these two ideologically opposed but life-experience related characters to fall in love?" The answer was by way of 25 chapters of "wow Deacon has a lot of PTSD, huh?"
4. What detail in The Eye of the Storm are you really proud of?
OH MAN these questions are way harder now that I'm actually answering. For the unfamiliar, The Eye of the Storm is the sequel to A Line in the Sand, currently WIP (but just three chapters to go!). God. Honestly? I'm not sure if this is the thing I'm most proud of, but I am pretty proud of coming up with the idea of Vault 88 as a Railroad safehouse/HQ. It's perfectly positioned, 3 separate entrances, extensive space, tons of resources, so much more defensible and better hidden... a pretty massive upgrade all around. I felt really excited to explore the possibilities.
33. If you write chaptered fics, what’s your ideal chapter length to write? Is it different from your ideal chapter length to read?
I do seem to have a fairly consistent average with my chapters of somewhere between 7k and 8k words. That seems to be what it takes for me to feel like a chapter is satisfying progress in the story. And yes I think I would say that's probably what I like to read, too. I mean if it feels satisfying to the author, I think the length matters less than what serves the story best, but I do enjoy digging into longer chapters because it just means more story 😊
49. What are you currently working on? Share a few lines if you’re up for it!
Slowly working on the next chapter of The Eye of the Storm! This is still very very rough (like handwritten in my notebook rough) but here's a snip, in which Deacon is Having a Time with his first glimpse of the Institute proper:
Hundreds of years for civilization to stand on tottering, shaky legs again, and all along, this was possible. This was here, growing, flourishing, thriving. Anthony worked himself ragged in the hope he could give his son the world, and all the while, his son had the world and kept it from him. From all of them.
They had the technology to build cities. Instead, they built slaves.

Silvaineaux doesn't usually wear pyjamas to bed despite the cold climate. He typically wears nothing or small clothes or at most a pair of pajama pants. When he does bother with pajama pants they are half a set his sister gave him one Starlight that has chocobos on it.
Silvaineaux sleeps in the middle of the bed when he's sleeping alone. it's a very large bed with plenty of room. When he has company in bed he sleeps on the side nearest the door in case of trouble in the night.
Silvaineaux naps fairly easy if he decides to allow himself that. He taught himself to doze off in all sorts of awkward and uncomfortable positions during the war, little sleeps to keep his mind as fresh as possible in the worst circumstances. And so if he decides a nap is required he can usually fall into one with astonishing speed and ease, and wake from it just as efficiently.
Silvaineaux loves cuddling with his beloved, Sui, providing that no one is looking. He really enjoys being able to touch and be touched as long as no one is looking and he is altogether too willing to cuddle up together given the chance. Sometimes when he is alone at night and his nightmares are at their worst he also goes out to the stable and curls up with Joyeux. It's an entirely different sort of cuddle, but still soothing.

Probably the main thing I could see a large fandom getting wrong would be in regards to just how ruthless he can be. Yes, he's lovely with and to Kia. No, this does not extrapolate to a newfound empathy with the wider population. Though the other main thing I can see a large fandom getting wrong is that same quality of ruthlessness being interpreted too far in the other direction, and expressed as pointless cruelty and nastiness, or wilful violence for the sake of it, because he can.
He's got a much better sense of humour than is generally picked up on, too - he's really not as serious as he's presumed to be by...most people, actually. He's not precious about his reputation or image in that way, and absolutely can take (and make) a joke at his own expense.

How loose is their use of the phrase ‘I love you’?
Do they give tough love or gentle love most often? Which do they prefer to receive?

Silvaineaux is exceptionally tight lipped with his use of 'I love you.' He finds such naked and plain emotion difficult to voice even with the person he loves most and so very rarely manages to say it as such even to his beloved or his siblings, let alone to friends. It does not mean that he does not love them, only that to state it so: simply and plainly, is extremely hard for him. He tends to express his affection in more roundabout language or more commonly in acts of service or by touch.
Silvaineaux gives both tough and gentle love in equal measure, depending on circumstance. As a lover he tends to the rough he is a Dominant sadist and so rough is very much his taste. However, he enjoys the gentle tenderness he offers them both as aftercare just as much.
Outside of lovemaking in his actions with friends and family he tries to read what is needed very much like an officer checking on his men since that is how he learned. He tries to uplift people as much as he can when they deserve praise or comfort after trouble but he is more than capable of dishing out gentle or not so gentle chastisement for things he feels need improvement.
Silvaineaux will happily talk to people about birds or swords or armor all day. He mostly doesn't just randomly volunteer facts but give him the slightest opening or indication of interest and he will animatedly discuss war chocobos and fine bloodlines or falconry and birds of prey extensively. Likewise swords, armor, and military strategy. To a lesser degree but if anyone asks he is also proud to talk about his family and the history of his House.
