scythe post reminded me of my god au. Techno as a blood god, but blood as a symbol of life. The blood that runs through all living things. Blood and wine and harvest. The blood of the farmers spilt on their fields, only serving to grow the crops further. The blood of the common people painting his sacred lands red during war. He is called a war god for tearing army's asunder, but what god stands by as his chosen are slaughtered? As his holy priests who tend to the crops and the animals and the sick and the children, have their guts spilled? He is nothing but a man of the people, and he will revoke his blessing on the battlefield. Those who spill the blood of others are undeserving of blood themselves, after all.
