I need to stop eating breakfast while I watch these eps, eventually im gonna gasp so hard I'll choke on some food (this is based on me almost choking on my food when HOWZER showed up)

So I knew Echo'd be in this one, but I was actually also a 100% Rex would be there too, so I was a little bummed about that? like why would they release Rex's poster now if he isn't gonna be in the ep? and like ik this is a show about the batch, so they wanna show off Echo and I love that for him bc I love Echo but like,,, Rex🥺 yanno?

that being said, Echo and his team infiltrating that ship, fcking GREGOR?? amazing, loving that shit, eating it up

another suicide? this is getting intense. like this season has given us deeply seeded political issues about clone rights, depictions of blood, brainwashing and two suicides?? like??? things are heating up, the writers are getting more real and I actually kinda,,, love that even though its intense

it struck me as really odd that Crosshair didn't shoot the female doctor. like the rest of the batch and most of the clones use stun guns ALL THE TIME whereas Crosshair has always shot to kill. again, "severe and unyielding", meaning he takes intense action, committing all the way all the while being so stubborn he hardly ever backs down. honestly, him sparing her is some serious character development. he recognised she was being kind to him and he decided that that was enough reason not to hurt her. either that, or he wanted to abuse her kindness later on

he never wanted to get out, he just wanted to warn his brothers, which is AGAIN SO DIFFERENT from the Cross we've gotten to know in these last two seasons. I actually don't think that's growth anymore. that's Crosshair standing by a choice that he knew was bad for far too long (SEVERE. AND. UNYIELDING.) and now finally admitting he was wrong and going back to what he always wanted and always knew to be right.

ALSO I JUST WITNESSED CROSSHAIR MISS A SHOT TWICE LIKE WTH??? THAT'S NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE

I'm really curious to see how Anthony is gonna handle this whole situation with Cassandra 'cause like unless she was fully under some sort of charm spell the entire time with Willy she's kinda at fault here lol?? We absolutely shouldn't blame victims of emotional manipulation and abuse but also when your child literally calls you and says "hey the guy you've been dating has been inappropriately texting my underage friend and its making me uncomfortable" and you respond with "naaaaahhhhh he doesn't seem like the kinda guy to do that" and then fucking?????? Marry him???? After around 6-8 months of knowing him???? Its slightly kinda absolutely you're own fault a little. Unless Taylor has some sort of history of accusing his mom's boyfriends of being pedophiles I truly can't come up with a reason why she would immediately dismiss Taylor like that.(the answer is cuz Freddy rolled bad, person who yelled at me for bringing up the narrative of teen girls being overlooked and unbelived when it comes to abuse that fits really well with Scary. Ik its a game are you doing ok? dont reach out to me❤)

That Ted Lasso ep. was soooooo sweet.

Sorry to TL, but the moment I heard “Dreams” by The Cranberries, I started thinking about when my other soccer show used it KQKWKDNDKWKWKS.

Love Trent dressing more expressively! His character development has been so much fun to watch. God, and I loved the giddy joy he expressed at the end of the ep. To steal a phrase from Roy Kent: “What a fucking dork.”

The highlight of the episode for me was Sam’s relationship with his father. His breakdown in the locker room was absolutely harrowing. Black athletes of color are put under such an unrelenting microscope, and he fucking nailed that perfectly. When he collapsed into his dad’s arms, there were TEARS in my eyes.

The warmth that Ola’s actor brought to the role was so, so wonderful. And his smile when he realized that the restaurant was beautiful.

(The team cleaning up the restaurant was so, so good!!!!!!)

ANANDJENDNSNDN, I get into the games in Ted Lasso the same way I do actually American football. Whenever they made that goal, I physically CHEERED.

That conversation between Rebecca and Keeley was incredibly lovely—mature and something Keeley needed to hear.

ANDNDNSN, as a bibliophile, I was outraged by Jack desecrating that Jane Austen first edition, but I still find Jack/Keeley really cute. I’m glad that Keeley was able to institute that boundary, though, and that the show understood its responsibility to address the power difference between them.

Why hasn’t someone broken Jane and Beard up yet 2k23?!?!)??)2$:$2&$;$:

Jade and Nate were very adorable. Loved that scene with Nate and his mom/sister. He is so loved by all of his family.
