DAKAICHI Stage Play Reveals Key Visual and Lead Cast

  Okay, follow me here. There's a new DAKAICHI play coming out. But it's a play performed by the DAKAICHI characters. Still with me? Good.

  The new production, Kouyouki, is a live stage performance of the play Takato performs in the anime series. The story takes place during the Heian Period.

  A new poster featuring the play's actors, in the style of the anime poster, has just been released:

    Syo Jinnai (Enter in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters) will be playing Takato Saijou as Tsunewaka, and Shuji Kikuchi (40 Manbun no 1) will play Chihiro Ayagi as Shigesada.

  The play will be performed from June 28 to July 7 at Shinagawa Prince Hotel Club EX in Tokyo.

What are some of your favorite Rider and Sentai villains?

I don't really have a favorite per se, but a few stick out to me as very memorable.

For Sentai it's Enter from GoBusters. Not only is GoBusters my favorite Sentai series, but Enter just has this charisma to him that's kinda hard to ignore. Syo Jinnai really portrayed him well. It's also pretty unforgettable that he was the villain who pushed a Red Ranger into suicide and went from being an enforcer/commander to being the main threat of the show. And what he did to Escape is pretty abhorrent even by Sentai villain standards.

For Kamen Rider, it's Evolt from Build. I don't think Rider has had a villain on the same level of sadism as him since then. The guy singlehandedly tore a country into three, set them on the path to war, and watched back to watch the petty humans destroy themselves while he plotted to devour their planet. While he was at it, he possessed a man who had to watch him torment his daughter and her friends, killed a bunch of people for kicks, gave Ryuuga shitty outfits, made shitty coffee, and was ultimately responsible for every misery the main characters experienced.
