Stanley was worn and furious.
With himself mostly. He'd cried more that day than any other he could remember and the embarrassment had started to set in. It helped none that Shermie kept looking at him like he was a chore.
Stanley refused to look at Ford as they were herded wordlessly into the back of Shermie's car. Worried he might see Ford wearing that same aggrieved, faintly irritated expression over his tears.
It didn't really surprise him that Ford wasn't crying that much. Wasn't much of a crier Ford, but Stanley knew he was upset. There was a rigid quality to his brother's silence now, sharp and icy, a cold anger that Stanley was pretty sure was his way of expressing grief. Ford was weird like that. He was weird in lots of ways really.
Now that the tears had dried, seemingly from fatigue rather than Stanley actually feeling any better, he was left with sore eyes and a bone deep exhaustion that made him antsy. The shock and sorrow were beginning to ebb away now and Stanley was seething in their wake.
Worse still his anger had nowhere to go. While Ford gazed out the window of the car as they rolled away from the churchyard Stanley stared down at his hands. Slowly curling and uncurling his fingers into tight fists. He could hit people that mouthed off to him, could beat down people that made snide remarks about his brother, could even fight for his family's pride in the ring but what could he do against this?
"Lee. Unclench." Ford spoke quietly, not even turning to look at him and for a moment Stanley didn't get it.
Oh. He'd been grinding his teeth again. Right.
Reluctantly he unclenched his jaw, able to feel the faint ache in his molars that told him he'd been doing that for a while now.
Unfortunately with Ford speaking up finally Stanley's attention was back on him and it was the closest to an outlet he had.
"Don't tell me what to fucking do." Stanley spat and while Ford didn't even react to the words, he almost felt himself flinch after speaking them.
Ten terse seconds of silence passed before Stanley deflated. Stanford was always better at waiting him out.
"Sorry, Sixer…I…I didn't mean that…"
"I know." Ford replied, certain and calm as ever. That bothered Stanley more today than it typically would have.
Their parents were gone.
Gone.

“Ah yes hello kids that I have just met and had no idea I was related too until the government brought you to me I can determine you are unstable and scared since you are very young children…”
“…Here’s a magical supercharged shiny rock that I stole from somewhere in the woods that you can pretty much do anything with. Now go play catch or something.”
“Oh yeah I forgot to mention the fucking horrified blue demon in my basement”

Finished the screen shot draw over! It's going to be a reaction image for my Tumblr blog @tentoftelepathy
Sometimes I like to roleplay. It's a soothing stress relief for me and I can separate my past life from roleplay rather easily.
Hes my version of Stanford Gleeful for Levity Heights which is based on my kin timeline. He's also me as I am a fictive. Levity Heights is a heavily expanded reverse falls type Au that focuses on Stanford, Stanley, Fiddleford, and William.

@deity-of-calamity Response to this ask
-------
Stanford stood somewhat in the distance. He propped himself up on his own cane as he stared at the blond man before him. The outfit he'd chosen for the night made him a bit difficult to see in the shadows even if it was not his intention but he couldn't say he minded that fact. He straightened his back a bit as he eyed the distant stranger for a moment before he turned to the side slightly as he made no effort to mask any sound he made. It wasn't some stealth mission after all it was just a nightly stroll during the cool night. But that didn't mean he wasn't cautious in the least bit. After all one must always act as if they are being watched at all times. Regardless if they were or weren't. Stanford made no effort to reply. He simply wasn't feeling it. Instead, he sighed as his body relaxed for a moment. The strange blue-clad man didn't sense danger so he assumed he'd be fine for the moment at least.

Hidden Away
“My dear sweet nephew, You foolish boy, You disgrace. Do not disappoint me again or I will make you regret it. I do not need to remind you of the consequences.” Such things could never be spoken in public but behind closed doors well that was an entirely different story. The need to keep up a perfect image for the public. To be the perfect poster family, the charming Gleefuls. They’ll work their way right into your heart with their sweet charm. How sickening. I never liked the public. I prefer to hide away from those monsters within my study. For they too would likely see me as a monster. Humanity is the real monster. Not I, The one they see as a freak. One to lock away within a tall tower deep in the woods. Foolish In the end they all disappoint me. It’s just another broken record on the gramophone at the end of the day.

"I'm glad your uncle let The Collector stay with us. He seems pretty happy here." The collector smiled up at Mason. "Heyaz! I love the starry theme stuff here."
Mason is so excited to meet this new family member. And hearing them compliment the theme and decor around the Tent, it makes him feel happy!
He smiles. “Thanks! We try our best to decorate accordingly.” He chuckles softly.
Ford Gleeful comes over. “Of course I would allow new people to stay, it’s the friendly thing to do after all.” He has a smile on his face as he directs his attention to The Collector. “Feel free to stay for as long as you need to, and if you’d like, Dipper here can show you around. Maybe his friends can join in the tour around the Falls if need be.”

Chapter 1: A Gleeful Departing
It was on the Gleeful twin’s thirteenth birthday that their lives changed.
The cliché of it all was not lost on Stanford and he supposed that if life were going to be cruel it might as well also have some sense of humour about it. Just once he would have liked it had that sense of humour not been at his expense.
Stanley was sat by Stanford's side at the funeral procession, crying more openly than either was comfortable with as their parent's caskets were carried in.
While Lee wept as quietly as he could manage, Stanford turned his gaze towards the looming glass stained windows that flanked the church walls rather than look at the polished wood of their parents final resting places. As he did, Ford found himself idly considering the implications of it being such a sunny day. Finding it somewhat uncanny how the sun outside cast multicoloured tracks across the coffins as they were set before the gathering of mourners.
Of course he understood well enough on a purely logical level that the weather was no more impacted by their parent's abrupt passing than anything else in the world was - besides perhaps his brothers.
That particular thought dragged his focus slowly back to the figure stood resolute and silent by he and Stanley's side. Not a tear fell from their estranged older brother's eyes. If anything he appeared mildly inconvenienced by having to attend the funeral and despite everything, Ford felt something vicious curl inside his chest.
How dare he look so unbothered. Ford thought sharply.
Stanley was crying enough for all three of them, yes, but that did not give their brother the right to not be moved by that. Even if Shermie held no love for their parents, surely he could see how deeply their passing had cut through Stanley if nothing else?
Perhaps feeling the steel in his younger brother's unabashed glare, Shermie Gleeful cast a dismissive glance his way and for all Stanford distrusted their distant relative, even he was taken aback by the flash of teeth he saw in Shermie's fleeting smile.
As if to challenge Ford right back.
As if to say, I don't see you crying either.
But then again, as he'd already assessed, Stanley was crying enough for them both surely.

remember a few posts ago when I mentioned that Reverse Stanford maybe might maybe maybe just maybe get fucking murdered as the conclusion of reverse weirdmaggedon or whatever you call it
I’ll add a detail because for some reason I’m really thinking about it now
will using the last of his power. Instead of using it to turn back into a dream demon he uses it to torment ford in the afterlife making him face all the horrid actions he’d done over and over again.
but that won’t be mentioned at the end. It just happens and if you have no idea this post exists you’d never know.
Hell I don’t even know if I wanna kill off Stanford because I kinda want to keep the reverse falls thing a bit lighthearted and goofy like gravity falls.
but it’s an idea.

Here's my reverse falls redesgins
Ford was heavily influenced by deatharising as was William, but they still have my own spin on them! I also drew from that like southern evangelical preacher vibe for Stanford too! The twins were inspired by Ouiji fashion and old timey stage outfits! I wanted them all to have very magiciany feels and of course Mason has his daggers and I have Mable themed Tarot card featuring Mason as the Magcian, William as the Fool, and Ford as the Lovers! Any guess what Mable would be?
If I feel like it I might do Stanley, Fiddleford, Gideon, and Pacifica at some point! Anyways I hope yall enjoy them!

HAPPY 10th ANNIVERSARY TO GRAVITY FALLS!
Back in Oct. 2018, my project for inktober was at least one pic from every episode.  Because of the pace, there were restrictions; I did each on a post-it note, limited coloring, and chose things that would fit the square format and that I could get done in time (between working full-time and owl-banding most nights).  I always sort of wanted to redo a bunch of those; but really, what occasion would merit putting in THAT much time and effort for a project of that size?
Well, how about for the 10th anniversary of the premiere of Gravity Falls?
I’m not saying this was a *smart* project to tackle, but I thought it might be “easier” because I had first drafts of most of the pieces; I just wanted to redo them so they’d look better, with 4 more years of practice under my belt and a new move to digital art.  (Narrator: it was not really easier.)  Some I redid completely, or did new to create the full sets above.  Basically, once I’d hit on this idea, and decided to link it to the refrain of “How Far We’ve Come”, I was committed; there was no way I was going to *not* try to do it.
I know that “How Far We’ve Come” gets fanvidded for eight billion different shows.  But, the first time I heard the song was in one of the first Gravity Falls fanvids I ever watched (link  below), so it will always be a GF song for me.
Gravity Falls has meant a lot to me for the past 6 years that I’ve been active in the fandom.  I have no doubt it will always have a big place in my heart. I’m definitely not done with things I’d like to do for it.  I’m so glad to see people coming together to celebrate this big anniversary!
ALSO: needless to say, HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Stan and Ford!
