Israel has cut water, electricity and food to Palestinians in Gaza. They are buying 10.000 M16 rifles and plan to distribute to civilian settlers in the West Bank to hunt down Palestinians. They're bombing the only way out of Gaza through Egypt, after telling refugees to flee through it, and have threatened the Egyptian government in case they let aid trucks pass through. Entire families, generations, are being wiped out and left to wander the streets hoping they don't get bombed.

Palestinians are using their last minutes of battery to let the world know about their genocide and are being met with a wall of "What about Hamas? What about the beheaded babies? Killing children on either side is bad!" even though the propaganda claims have been debunked over and over again. How cruel is it to ask somebody to condemn themselves before their last words? Or before grieving the loss of their entire families? When there's no such disclaimer to Israelis even though their government has shown over and over genocidal intent? Like who are you even trying to appease? What will your wishy washy statement do against decades of zionist thought infiltrating evangelical and Jewish stablishmemts?

Take action. Israel will fall back if public opinion turns its tide. The UK fell back on its bloody decision to cut aid to Palestine under public scrutiny. The USAmerican empire spends $3.8 billion dollars annually solely on this proxy war while its people suffer under a progressively military regime as well. News outlets are canceling last minute on Palestinian speakers while letting Israelis tell lies unchecked. Palestinian refugees are being targeted in ICE establishments and mosques are already being hounded by the FBI. France and Germany have banned pro-Palestine protests, while Netherlands and the UK have placed restrictions . You have the chance to stop this from turning into repeat of the Iraq war.

I want to do something but there's hardly anything for me to do from Brasil besides spreading the word and not letting these testimonies fall on deaf ears. I'm asking you to do this same ant work from wherever you are.

Scientists in southwest England have recently unveiled the discovery of the oldest fossilized forest known on Earth, dating back an astonishing 390 million years. This finding, detailed in a new study released by the University of Cambridge, surpasses the previous record held by a forest in the state of New York by 4 million years.

The fossils were found on high sandstone cliffs on the south side of the Bristol Channel, near Minehead, close to a holiday park. The trees, identified as Calamophyton, bore resemblance to palms, although their trunks were thin and hollow, devoid of leaves but with branch-like structures covering their branches. These trees ranged in height from 2 to 4 meters, losing branches as they grew.

The forest dates back to the Devonian Period, a critical time between 419 and 358 million years ago when life began to venture onto land. The trees played a vital role, trapping sediments in their root systems and stabilizing riverbanks and coastlines.

The study also highlights the rapid evolution of primitive forests. While the English forest is less diverse, consisting of only one tree type compared to New York's oldest forest, which housed a variety of species, it demonstrates how flora changed quickly in geological terms.

Additionally, these trees provided habitats for ground-dwelling invertebrates, leaving evidence of tracks and tail drags from primitive arthropods. Although the exact identity of these arthropods is unknown, their tracks and drags indicate the presence of sizable invertebrates, some reaching widths of 5 to 10 centimeters.

Scientists also noted that at the time, the cliffs where the fossils were found were connected to parts of what is now Germany and Belgium, rather than England. The study was published in the Journal of the Geological Society.

The discovery was described as "fortuitous" as the team was in the area investigating general geology and stumbled upon the fossils during a casual lunch in a field. This revelation not only emphasizes the importance of forests in stabilizing ancient ecosystems but also underscores the luck involved in such scientific discoveries.

Japan buys 150 AIM-120C-7/C-8 missiles

The State Department has approved a foreign military sale to the government of Japan of medium-range air-to-air missiles AIM-120C-7/8 (AMRAAMs) and related equipment at an estimated cost of US$ 293 million.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency delivered the necessary certification by notifying Congress of this possible sale today.

The Government of Japan has requested the purchase of one hundred and fifty (150) medium-range AIM-120C-7/C-8 air-to-air missiles (AMRAAMs); and three (3) AIM-120 AMRAAM Guidance Sections. Also included are AIM-120 missile storage containers and control sections; support for weapons and support equipment; software delivery and support; spare and repair parts, consumables and accessories; classified publications and technical documentation; Engineering services, technical and logistical support from the U.S. government and contractors; and other related elements of logistical and program support. The total estimated cost of the program is US$ 293 million.

The proposal to sell this equipment and the support necessary for its operation will not change the basic military balance of the region.

This proposed sale will support the foreign policy goals and national security objectives of the United States, improving the security of a great ally who is a force for political stability and economic progress in the Asia-Pacific region.

The proposed sale will improve Japan's ability to face current and future threats, defending the Japanese homeland and U.S. personnel "parked" there. Japan already has AMRAAMs in its inventory and will have no difficulty absorbing these missiles in its armed forces.

The main contractor will be Raytheon Missile Systems, Tucson, AZ. There are no known compensation agreements proposed in relation to this sale. The implementation of this sale will not require the assignment of any additional representatives of the U.S. government or contractors to Japan.

There will be no adverse impact on U.S. defense readiness as a result of this proposed sale.
