I love SolRose!!!!!!

Sollux is a really surly dude and he is begrudging to accept any affection, much less portray it, but he’s also someone who will LITERALLY DIE if it means helping his friends stay safe, so while he does behave in a very selfless manner, the way he talks is very crude!

I think Rose would start out thinking he’s really fun to poke at because his buttons are just so EASY and AVAILABLE to be pushed and she’s antagonistic by nature, and the two would settle pretty quickly into playful banter. Mutually antagonistic and insulting, but all in good fun! I could see them having a very easy pitch, or at the very least starting out in pitch, fun and flirty and friendly, and maybe later they’d go softer and vacillate flush.

Pale would be fun too. Rose trying to pick apart Sollux’s brain only to have him zero in on her own personal problems and insecurities with positively lethal accuracy and no desire to sugar coat it. That could also work in pitch, though, where they present each other’s problems with hyper affective bluntness and a “so what’re you gonna do about it, punk?”

I think the quad they’d end up in would all depend on the mood and the scenario tbh, but their dynamic is sooooo fun to play with :D

as said in the first part of this trilogy of comment appreciation, i do treasure each and every comment i get. even if it’s just a sentence, it can make my day. and when i’m feeling low -- as a writer or as a person -- and i’m doubting that i’ll ever write something good again, i go back and i re-read them all; seeing all the love that people has sent to me, how moved they’ve been by my words, and it helps.

that’s a truly powerful thing.

so never think that your comment doesn’t matter. i can only speak for myself, of course, but i know there are hundreds of writers out there who share this sentiment. comments really makes writing easier, smoother and so much more joyful. thank you, readers, for everything. you keep fandom alive and thriving ♡

SFLF2018 Day 1 - Comments

Kommentarer er halve gleden med å skrive. Det finnes så mye motivasjon og glede i å få dem. Jeg har lest mine om og om igjen - hundrevis av ganger! Av og til er det nettopp kommentarene som gir guts til å skrive neste kapittel. Her er noen av mine favoritter:

Jeg har fått mange kommentarer fra @aimitis - alle nydelige, men denne betyr noe helt spesielt for meg. Den var starten på et vennskap jeg setter enormt pris på:

Pagnilagni skriver fantastiske kommentarer så vel som fics, og denne på “Jeg snører min sekk” satt jeg ekstra stor pris på! Takk for alle de fine oppmuntrende, konstruktive og morsomme kommentarene dine! Er alltid stas å høre fra deg:

En til som loset meg og holdt meg oppe gjennom “Jeg snører min sekk” og i senere fics med helt fantastisk fine kommentarer var Frk. Bella. her er en av hennes uendelig nydelige tilbakemeldinger:

Peace Train er kanskje den ficen der jeg elsker kommentarene aller mest <3 Det er en smal historie som krever mye research og som @aimitis og jeg koser oss veldig med å skrive, helt uten at den er et leserfrieri (ikke evak-fokus, ikke plotheavy, T-rating osv.) Den andre er fra sjiraff og kjentes helt spesiell. Jeg hadde slitt utrolig med kapittel 30, Alt er love. Tatt av både prestasjonsangst, motbakke på hjemmebane og skadet skrivehånd.. Så det sier sitt at både Allie (@grensevokter) og jeg satt med tårer i øynene da vi leste denne kommentaren på Naturlig Seleksjon fra duerikkjealeina.
