A new Olena interview!

Mostly about her work with some interesting informations and background stuff.

Some private questions at the end but not really anything new.

Asked again about how Ze (and his character) changed during the war. Olena says she can't really give an answer to that because you can only assess any change after the war. But some of his character traits (that were already there) have come out more / are now stronger / sharper. Like he is now more stubborn (probably meant as in persistent) and determined.

Also no, she does not know more than the public, adding she wants it to end (like everyone else; it's a bit unclear what she is refering to - a second term? the war? the separation?)

Ze has become more emotional / sentimental about the things close to his heart / that are important to him as a person, especially family topics (communication with his family, with his kids, ...). He is now appreaciating that very much. You can now cheer him up (and he will get really emotional) with any little thing, like when Olena talks about the children (like when she tells him what the kids said) or sends him a pic of the kids. He wasn't so sensitive before the war.

She talks with the kids about the war.

In February, when the war started, she was on her way to the kids room to wake them and tell them what happened, wondering how and what she should tell them, that they have to pack the emergency suitcases. Oleksandra was already awake and had no questions, knew what happened. Kyrylo was confused and Olena tried to distract him and engaging him (them) in everything they now had to do. For Kyrylo the distraction worked for the first day.

Olena understands that it is a great honour for other First Ladies to be the "first advisor" to their President (like Jill Biden). But she is not Ze's advisor at all. She jokes that a good husband, of course, always will say that the wife is the most important advisor and she is sure Ze would say the same. But he is the President and it's not her place to tell him anything or advise him with anything.

#the part about ze being so emotional now ... uffffff ... my heart breaks ... 🥺😢#he misses his fam so much 🥺😢#also olena immediately SMILING when she talks about ze will never thet old 😍#the big smile when they started to talk about him and her role as possible advisor #the “a good husband” moment was so cute 🥰🥰🥰#and we all now ze is a good husband 😏#i mean he did say that olena is his most important advisor #on a side note she looked amazing!#but poor olena sounded sick #her voice was pretty raspy sometimes #but looks like her finger is okay again #on another side note: i love the personal stuff as much as everyone else but i am also happy they gave her work so much coverage for once #she does so many amazing and important things and achieves so much its such a shame this sometimes gets forgotten and in the background #also: me 🤝 the anons in my messages - working together to get all the content on this blog #and create all the content #and the discussions #and funny interactions #and everything else you all created

Feeling a lil vindictive, a lil nasty this morning

So context, my brother had a work do last night and before he left he told my mum he'd becoming back here and doing so alone. So tell me why he called me at 3am when I'm trying to sleep but travel anxiety and says he's bringing two mates back? I tell him he can't I'm leaving at 6 tomorrow he just goes yeah they'll just be passing through your room. No I've gotta get up in 3 hours you can't be keeping up, yeah it's fine. The fuck it is not

Anyway so my alarm goes off 3 hours later I've barely slept, my brain already woke me up several times prior but that doesn't mean I'm turning my alarms off immediately or getting ready quietly after the prick disturbed my sleep

#Demon Spawn #travel tag #the rest of my siblings got a nice goodbye but im not a morning person on a good night sleep let alone when i havent been able to sleep #like i wouldnt have gotten much sleep regardless because of anxiety but i woulda been able to fall asleep sooner if i hadnt been dragged out #of bed kept awake by the rage induced adrenaline and the sounds of sports being played on tv and chatter in the next room #and hes gonna spend all day in bed anyway so i dont feel guilty particularly when hes had guests over constantly for the two weeks ive been #home which denies me access to the ensuite and kitchenette thats accessible from his room and he constantly keeps me awake #i dont get to enjoy my comfy non student accommodation bed because the fcker never lets me go to sleep and my mum wont let me sleep in #i did fix my sleep schedule minutely was getting tired at 12 instead of 2am from where i fcked it during assignment season so small mercies #had to wake my littlest brothers up to say goodbye and the babby started crying 😢 my mum wanted me to wake her and the baby up too #but the baba was still half asleep and definitely not processing that i was leaving 😂 she was so unbothered guarantee ill have to facetime #my dad dropped me to the bus stop and hes as bad at small talk and emotionally constipated as me but he was just coming back from a night #shift so i appreciate that that was him putting in extra effort and him checking i had enough money is as close to sentiment as he can do #everyone else? cute goodbye. my sister was already awake when i got up to the house pretty sure she had an alarm set.....#my oldest younger brother? i hope the hangover sucks

in the japanese production of bmc they took the references to weed out of michael in the bathroom but they kept the scene of him ripping a fat bong and then hiding it from jeremy’s dad so conflicting opinions on the stoner thing there

#a while ago my friend asked me ‘so what’s the japanese perception of a stoner like?’ and i didn’t have an answer #i think weed is just so illegal there that not enough people smoke it especially not visibly for there to be a stereotype #if anything maybe like just a thug #but i was thinking abt it bc the one line was ‘i’ll just blame it on weed’ so yeah they’d change that nobody knows what weed makes you feel #overstatement but yeah that’s actually a pretty tiny thing #it was interesting the ways it changed moving it to a different culture #it was still very ‘this happens in an american high school’ - the costumes were exactly the same #but there were definitely little changes #christine was like more of a flighty super cute teen girl #less oddball more sorta idol-y (also if I read the scene right she gets super wasted at the Halloween party)#jeremy himself was sorta slimy it was interesting #like the conception of ‘high school popular mean boy’ is sorta more jeery I guess so that’s how he acted in the second act #overall i really liked it!! but i only got to see the second act 😢😢#it was sorta like seeing a showcase or preview instead of feeling like ‘i just saw bmc’#but i mostly wanted to gauge the vibe anyway so it’s fine #personal #my favorite part btw was the girls they were like super fun and vibrant and silly #it was like a party for girls #oh also!! the audience clapped along!! during all the high energy musical numbers everyone clapped #i didn’t know that could happen at a musical especially not in japan

the lab tech training me said awesomesauce sixteen times today btw. yeah I counted

#she says it completely unironically its actually kinda cute. Alex pouted, her brows knitted in a frown as she stared blankly at your post; constantly refreshing it to see whether or not you replied to her comment yet.

But every time she does, she gets disappointed—not seeing your reply just makes her grow fonder of your presence.

With a deep sighed, Alex turned off her phone and buried her face in y/n’s favorite pillow. The one she uses every time they sleep, the one that has her lingering smell on it, and the one Charles and Alex coddles up whenever they miss you. Which is constantly so they fight about whoever gets it.

Alex stared blankly at the ceiling, her mind was clouded with the thoughts of you. She just misses you so much it’s killing her. Literally.

The only reason you were out was because of your job; you love modeling that’s why they couldn’t have the guts to stop you from going. But now they just wished that they stopped you.

“Ughhhhh” she sighed, dragging the h along the tone of her boredness. Her voice echoing around the empty room which caught the attention of their boyfriend.

“What’s the matter, bébé?” Charles asked, peeking his head into the doorframe.

Alex lazily dragged her head up to face charles. “Everything’s cool, i just miss her is all” she mumbled, her voice laced with sadness and longing.

Charles smiled emphatically, he knows what it’s like to miss you— he’s going through that too but he’s not taking it as hard like Alex though. He’s trying to act strong for the both of them, i mean someone has to, right?

Alex felt the couch dipped down as Charles sat besides her frame. “Should we call y/n and see what’s she’s up to?” He asked, rubbing soft circles around her back.

“No” she replied all muffled due to her head still facing down and resting on your pillow.

She wanted them to call you; to hear your sweet voice. Alex wanted nothing more than that, but then again she doesn’t want to disturb you and ruin your fun.

“Let’s just watch a movie and try to get our minds of her, yeah?” Sighing defeatedly, alex nodded her head and muttered a low ‘sure’ making Charles smile happily.

So that’s what they did, they watched a movie, and ate all the food they could find in the house until they fell asleep.

They woke up the very next day— saw your recent post and started to miss you like crazy again.
