That's it, I no longer will be reading the 'official' English translations from Viz. Even if you say that you read this in a sarcastic tone, not everyone will, and we know when Katsuki is being sarcastic, this here doesn't show it. 🤷♂️
If you still want to give the benefit of the doubt to that translator, go ahead, but things like this is why many English speaking fans still see the old Katsuki and not the Katsuki who has made growth in his character. 😒

I have a week and a half of finals left and I am not making it through y’all 🙏
#I js finished my aps on Monday and ap studying is a whole different kind of beast#and so were finals last year#this year finals are light as fuck and that means I will not be studying much this week cuz I cannot get myself to take this shit seriously#like Monday? hell. ap gov and apah on one day#I had to cover 40 percent of apah on my own in the weekend before the exam cuz the teacher didn’t 😭#I also still had to review for gov#so I was spending like 18-20 hours a day on studying for those classes last weekend#and then taking the tests were fun but also horrible experiences#cuz of all the fucking writing#l got to near 20 pages of writing that day#and now I’m spending like an hour and a half max reviewing for anything#I have a final tomorrow and I’m so unserious about it#the only kinda stressful thing is Spanish and bio both being next Thursday#and ig math on Monday#but they’re still pretty light cuz I hv so much time to study#when we don’t hv tests it’s all study hall#so I’m just sitting in a room for 5 hrs working during school#and that’s more than enough time for those exams#like I just have to do 80ish practice problems and make flashcards for Spanish everyday until Sunday#and then I’m gonna check my math study guide on Sunday#and then continue studying Spanish flashcards every day leading up to next Thursday#other than that I have to make lang flashcards and study a bit for lang (prob like 2ish hours) next Monday#and like 6-7 hours of studying bio#like this is not that bad???#and I’m so excited for summer!!!#I alr have so many things prepped I wanna do!!#imma try to read for 24 hrs straight & draw more & get back into printmaking & do an internship & work on speech and debate#& volunteer at a library with my friends & study for next yr & learn to knit/crochet#& listen to music more & get back into piano fr & exercise#ares.txt

STOP I DONT WANT TO HEAR IT. RAFA IS NOT PASSING THE TORCH TO ANYBODY, RAFAS AMAZING THE WAY HE IS!! IDC I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IN ALL THIS. Rafael Nadal is not passing the torch. I'm a bitch. I know. I'm being so pissy about it. I know!!!
But how will I ever move on from Novak/Rafa/Roger's era?? Idk, maybe it's just me, but idk how people move on from the big 3 era so fast now that the new era is starting?? Like?? TEACH ME. I feel like such a bitch about it.
I'm happy for Carlitos, I really, genuinely am. I cried for him, I cheered for him and I really like him and i am so so proud of him. But I'm not ready for his era to start yet. In fact, in all of my honesty and truth revealed, I don't want it to start so fast.
I wish the Big 3 era will stay forever and never end. So why and how, are people moving on so fast? Do they want to see it end before they even end it?? all these videos of passing the torch and all this new era shit. Can't we appreciate Novak and Rafa right now while they are still here and still playing? Soon enough, in a blink of an eye, they'll be gone.
They'll be retired and I thought that people would appreciate them more in their last moments. I know they won't retire this time around, though Rafa will next year and I'm still so upset, and Novak will probably retire in like..5 years. Tops. And Andy too.
And soon all the new gen will take over, I'll be fricking 20+ then, and I won't see that familiar face I always see in my childhood anymore. I won't hear about Rafa's latest injuries, and his grunts, and his little quirks that the media love to point out, I won't hear about another Novak drama of breaking rackets, I won't hear about Novak winning everything anymore and pissing everybody off.
I won't hear the Novak fans and Rafa fans fighting anymore, about the goat debates etc. I'm going to miss the fedal posts that are still around despite the fact that there is only one left still playing.
I don't want it to end.
So how are the people I see on Instagram and everything, how are they so excited for this new era to take over and how are they so excited for Rafa and Novak's (and Roger's) reign to end?

If you want to learn German by audio input and are at an intermediate level (to the point where you can follow a conversation to a certain point) I suggest listening to die drei Fragezeichen, a 40-year old, originally from the US, still ongoing audio drama featuring three idiots solving crimes by committing various crimes too but they do it in a righteous way
#in all seriousness it's a really fun way to keep listening german media#but it's admittedly not suited for beginners#like you have to be pretty stable regarding vocabulary#especially with older episodes#but other than that it's an entertaining audio drama#I was just thinking about audio dramas in general and if such a thing exists in Spanish#because I'm desperately searching for Spanish content on Spotify that isn't exclusively about language learning#and then I thought about ddf#it's giving me brainrot#langblr#language learning#foreign languages#german#learning german

anyway there is actually a couple things that niggled a bit at me from atsv but OVERALL very good very very good film
#pavitr makes up for any problem in that movie just by his presence#across the spiderverse#across the spiderverse spoilers#but seriously: (and there is gonna b spoilers in these tags so watch out)#the pacing was kind of off? it felt like introduction right up until the big SNAP of the climax and then the denouement dragged a little#like me i was pleased that there was more movie to watch but as a structure thing i felt like the movie was JUST ABOUT to end#for like... the whole last 45min or so i think#this is a personal complaint but GIVE ME MORE SPIDERMAN INDIA. THANKS#miles did him such a solid and then he vanished immediately for almost the whole rest of the movie whats up with that!!#hobie too hobie was the MVP fr and he peaced out way too early as well#it wouldve been so nice to see just one person being fully on miles' side helping him out and they---#(pavitr especially)---#wouldve had such a good reason to stand up for him!#more real complaint: i understand why earth 42 miles had more of an accent in a watsonian sense bc his dad died and he was raised more---#---by his spanish-speaking mom#but. uh. the doylist idea that Evil Miles has a stronger accent than Good Miles is... not the best implications chief!#and why tf was this movie so focused on cops. yes i know it was a dramatic device to parallel miles and gwen's fathers#(as well as pavitrs girlfriends dad)#and making them all police captains as the precursor to them dying is for ~drama~ so the characters+audience#get the cue of 'this is the point of no return where they become Doomed By The Narrative'#(and subsequently understand the cue of 'no longer doomed' like with gwens dad)#but like. why make that cue a cop thing??? why not have it be like. anything else? the cop thing isn't important#those people are important bc theyre FAMILY or loved ones who are dragged into spidermans fight through their circumstances#Why Are We So Obsessed With Cops.
