Announcement + Plotting call!!
After opening this blog, I was hit with extra hours on my full-time job and two courses that need my discipline to finish!
Therefore, I came up with the idea of making a list of plots I would like to write, so if we follow each other and you have trouble coming with plot ideas like me, you can take a quick look at this and hit me up. Believe me, I want to write with you!!!
There's just a little WARNING!
I'm not tagging the content warning in this post since I want all my mutuals to be able to read this, so I'll divide this into two parts: lighter topics and darker topics. The second part will be under Keep Reading, with the appropriate tag first, so you know what to skip.
Last but not least, this is not strict at all. If you have any other ideas, I would love to hear about them. ^^
Teach my muse something! Anything, from an instrument to a language, to cook, etc. Also, Autumn will probably teach you some self-defense.
Fake-any-kind of relationship. Does your muse want to make anyone jealous? Do they need someone to get married to so they run away from their homophobic family? Did your muse lie and say their baby had a father? You make the call.
Your muse moves to their first home; all their savings and dreams went into that house, only to find out it's already occupied! They have nowhere else to go, and the legal technicalities will take months!
Escape room! Except you can't really go out, and as days go by, you start forgetting about your past life. The only thing grounding you is the person you came in with to the escape room.
Titanic AU! It doesn't have to be a ship. It's more about the experience of finding someone you can have fun with and liberate yourself from societal expectations. (If it comes to a table, there will be space for two).
The Lake House AU! If you haven't seen that movie, the idea is a place or object that connects two people from different periods. (I think Kimi no Nawa is like that, too?)
Emotional support muse!
Zombie AU, but the government is the one creating the zombies, the same that are inviting you to come back safe to certain facilities where safety is promised...
Traveling, traveling, traveling; anywhere your muse needs companionship!
Double agents AU.
Sugar daddy/baby AU.
(CW: Assassination, possible genocide) Autumn could be hired as a hitman or a sniper. A secret agent? He has no attachment to anyone or anything. He'll be loyal, except if the death of innocents gets out of hand.
(CW: Death, kidnapping, torture) Autumn has been hired to kidnap and torture your childhood friend or lover. Both your muse and Autumn had met before and were intimates too. Eventually, it comes to the death of either your childhood friend or your foe.
(CW: Mental illness/religion, murder) Hijo de la Luna AU. Parents muse believe they have made a deal with a deity. They'll be granted a kid in exchange for their souls. Ever since, they were obsessed with the day of their death. Eventually dying on accidents or natural reasons, muse is delusional and think the deity will claim him next. Paranoid, interactions with strangers are a threat.
(CW: Suicide, mental illness) Your muse wants to end their life by hiring someone who would shoot them. This will not end as they want to. Autumn will not only reject but stay there to support them.
(CW: Manipulation, psychological abuse) A few chosen ones must take care of a secret facility that provides "housing and coaching" to selected members of society. They are all being treated like lab rats.
(CW: Death, stabbing) Lovers to enemies. Either your muse or my muse gets stabbed after finding out they were used to getting something from one another. A relationship started with a lie and was held by lies. (It can end like Romeo and Juliette too).
(CW: Serial killer) If your muse has targeted men in their mid-twenties with no family or friends to miss them, choosing Autumn would end badly.
PS: The death of my muse is alright as long as it's been discussed.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
face claim: Anya Taylor-Joy
full name: Juliet Noel Eisley
nickname(s): Jules, Noel, The Greek Tragedy (by her father, only)
pronouns & gender: She/Her & cis woman
sexuality: Bisexual
birth date: January 1, 1997
birth place: Verona, Italy
time in town: One year
housing: Historical Downtown
occupation: Aspiring Author/Employee at Memorial Library
family: Mother: Josefina Eisley; Father: Adonis Eisley
personality: She has a presence that eyes are instantly drawn to her. It’s a sort of obscure type of beauty, and her aesthetics are very vintage yet elegant because she utilizes her mother’s wardrobe; Juliet’s mostly in a two-tone scheme. Being well travelled due to family trips growing up, she is well versed in other cultures but can also speak fluent Spanish, French, Italian and German. She is also in the process of teaching herself American Sign Language, just because. Juliet absorbs information like a sponge; Though a positive for herself, could be a negative to others if they get on her bad side and arguments ensue. When she’s not at work, she’s either writing in her journal or hitting up a jazzercise class. Juliet loves the idea of love, and is a ‘Serial Romeo’ around town; Basically she’s a hopeless romantic who is caught up on “the one.” Though this has died down a lot from her high school years, she still has a tendency to fall for ideas of people she fabricates in her mind and then ghosts when they don’t live up to her expectations. She then proceeds to use that as fuel for her writing. She loves the classics; books, movies, art, music, poetry - and may come off a little pretentious about it, but really she’s just passionate. Even with her elegant demeanor, Juliet is actually more of a wildcard and hard to get a hold of because of how busy she makes herself. She’d rather keep busy than be bored - thinking that the feeling of boredom is something she could more so die from. She’s the type to be outside of a party smoking, rather than in the middle of it. She’s also fiercely loyal, and can be a bit overbearing if she cares about someone. It’s funny though, because even though she feels things so deeply, she gets afraid of how intense the feelings are and it makes her prone to fucking up connections or good things in her life. Her father jokingly calls her a Greek Tragedy when getting her out of her slumps, though she’s starting to feel that it’s very fitting. 20/10 will make you feel something just to walk away, unfazed. But - her heart’s in the right place, her mind just won’t shut off for long enough to realize she has a good thing in front of her.
BACKGROUND / BIO
Her mother was a model, whilst her father composed pieces and conducted orchestras. It was a chance encounter, how they met. A sort of forbidden romance that reaped the night sky of all the stars, only to place them in Juliet’s eyes the moment she was born. To this day, she blames her parents’ story of a whirlwind romance that brought them around the globe and back, for her relentless yearning in the love department. Juliet was raised with elegance and manners, being homeschooled until she pushed her father to let her attend public school when she hit middle school. Being a past time of both her parents and herself, movies seemed to romanticize much more than relationships, and had the girl craving to experience the locker-lined hallways and pizza Fridays. Due to being someone who didn’t ask for much, her father allowed her attend the public middle school in Verona. The young girl picked the absolute worst time to join the public education system; From the hormones to the insecurities that ran ramped in the classrooms, Juliet was slightly shunned from the ecosystem of her fellow peers. Not only due to her looks, but her intellect garnered much attention - which only confused her more. It was as if people liked her so much that they hated her. Instead of getting caught up in the drama of it all, the girl chose to keep to herself and speak only when spoken to. Though, this didn’t necessarily always work to her advantage, seeing that she stuck out like a sore thumb and the way she spoke was beyond her years. But, even when the teachers, guidance counselors and her parents tried influencing her to attend higher level courses - the girl refused. Juliet just didn’t see a need, because what did she have to prove? Writing was an escape for the girl. Having been an imaginative storyteller ever since she was younger, the girl utilized a majority of her downtime to focus on her craft. And when it wasn’t writing, Juliet could be found in the school’s art studio. She won essay contests, and had been a part of countless art shows. This was an indication of a perfect blend between her parents; Her core memories of reading classics with her father and painting with her mother, influencing her to hone in and pursue these talents - which pleased her parents to no end. Even though Juliet pulled phenomenal grades, she wasn’t a goody-two-shoes by any means. Her brain coming from her father, but she was her mother’s daughter underneath it all with a wild streak. She was notorious for skipping classes in order to smoke under the bleachers, or just cutting school altogether because she felt that there were better things to do with her time; And she would get away with it, due to her grade point average being so high. Once high school was over, the young woman felt as though she could finally breathe. Most of her days now spent working on her art endeavors and traveling; Obtaining her Art History and Literature degree abroad. Recently, she’s become a little stressed because she feels as though she’s falling behind on the success scale and is nowhere close to where she wants to be in the ways of achieving her dreams. Prone to blocks both in the ways of writing and artistic projects, Juliet is struggling with coming to terms that she has to work even harder than she originally thought in order to become established in the respective fields.

Note
I did some thinking and I also remember one which my friend absolutely hated. A guy came up to us and asked: "Do we have a mutual acquaintance that can introduce us?"
One of my friends is called Julia (the German translation of Juliet) so she gets the Romeo ones a lot, especially if she introduces herself first.
Then there is "Do you believe in love at first sight or do you need me to come back in a bit?"
"So many curves and I've got no brakes" was also...interesting...
And "Are there any other sights in the city apart from you?"
I've got a few more but they are more experienced than pick up lines
Any particular reason why you are collecting them?
🙄 Goodness, those can't have good success rates and yet they tried them anyway. I'm working on a Top Gun fic atm bt 2 serial daters. Ty for sharing your experiences!

Dream Come True
Tumblr media
Spencer Reid x Plus size!reader
Word Count: 1638 words
Warnings: none
Summary: Spencer gets advice from the ladies at the BAU when he starts seeing someone new, but it doesn’t work because she is unlike anyone else. She’s quirky and strange, but Spencer wouldn’t have her any other way.
——————————————————————————————————
Spencer had very little experience with the ladies, as a general rule.
He had always had much more important things to worry about from a very young age than girls or dating. After all, with an I.Q like his, social cues like that were difficult.
...But that all seemed to change with you.
He met you at the library of all places, reading about cold cases involving serial killers. It was a strange hobby for a civilian but Spencer thought better than to point that out, considering what he did for a career.
If nothing else, your interest in something so polarizing for most only increased Spencer’s draw to you. He found it so incredible that you would even think about something like that.
Though, that wasn’t the only thing about you that Spencer found immediately interesting. You had to be the most compelling human being he’d ever seen and he worked with Garcia every day.
Every single thing about you was perfectly unique, like you’d given each tiny detail of your appearance it’s own thought.
For someone like Spencer, it was absolutely wonderful to see someone as obviously invested in the minute details of who they were as a person. Up until now, he had always thought he was the only one.
Everything seemed to be absolutely perfect, like the stars had aligned when you two met and it was all meant to be. However, it wasn’t that easy. Even if you and Spencer were obviously feeling the same way, that didn’t change the fact that he couldn’t even speak to you.
He didn’t know anything about women and he certainly didn’t know anything about how to effectively court a woman like you. Clearly, you were way out of his league.
So, Spencer did the one thing he knew to do and gathered the help of every single lady he knew in hopes that it would help him understand you better.
“Hey guys, can I ask you something?” he started, putting himself in the center of the girls, who were all talking about the girls night they were planning for this coming Saturday.
They had been casually in discussion but as soon as the younger man entered the picture, all their attention pointed to you. “Sure Spence, what’s up?” JJ asked, the first to speak of any of the women.
Whatever this was, they wouldn’t hesitate to help him. The problem was that Spencer wasn’t even sure if their advice would work on you. Even with the very little experience he did have with women, he knew that you were unlike anyone else on the planet.
For all he knew, this wouldn’t benefit him at all but he had to try.
“I met a girl”
It was just a simple sentence, but to every one of his friends, hearing those words was like a declaration. Spencer had never really shown too much of an interest in the opposite sex while working at the BAU, aside from a few comments here and there.
The news of a new love interest in his life was quite an exciting one, for Prentiss, JJ, and Garcia alike. They could hardly believe it but still, Spencer was met with squeals of excitement all the same.
“Tell us about her. What is she like? Is she pretty? I bet she’s pretty” Penelope gushed, already dreaming up what a wedding would be like, and how stunning you must have been.
Every potential detail about you swarmed around her head as she thought about what it would be like when she did finally get to meet you. She had only been dreaming about this forever.
This was a dream come true for her.
“I find her to be very aesthetically pleasing, yes. Her name is Y/N and I met her at a bookstore and then we got coffee at a cafe down the street” he informed, knowing what followup questions she would have before she could even ask them.
It was perfect.
Of all the places where Spencer could have met his soulmate, a library was absolutely incredible, at least as far as Penelope was concerned. She couldn't have thought up a better place in the confines of her mind.
“Sounds great. So what do you need help with?” Emily spoke now, recalling the start of this conversation above all else. She was just as ecstatic for Reid as the others but she wanted to help him too.
That seemed to get him back on track.
“Right. I have no idea what to do to show her how much I care for her? I enjoy her company but every time I approach the idea of telling her that, I can’t find the words” he explained, wishing desperately for a change to that.
He wanted to understand you, he wanted to be able to show you just what a change you’d made in him but he couldn’t. Communication had always been a problem for him, but the feelings he had for you made it that much more difficult.
“Dr.Spencer Reid, speechless? I can’t believe it” Emily grinned, proud of herself for her little joke. Though, Spencer was so wrapped up in his search for the answer that he paid it no mind.
He was desperate to understand, for your benefit and his own.
“I’m being serious guys, what do I do? Is there anything you guys would like that I can do for her?” he tried, romance seemed very simple in readings and poetry but it was much more complicated in real life.
Life wasn’t as simple as Romeo and Juliet had made it out to be.
“Take her to a nice dinner, that’s what Will always does for me” JJ suggested, thinking that would be as good of an option as anything else. If nothing more, it was a good place to start.
...And that was exactly what Spencer was going to do.
Spencer called you almost immediately after getting together with the girls and set up a dinner date for the restaurant Will always took JJ for special occasions. He had never been there himself but it had to be nice.
He just hoped that you would like it.
~
“This is really fancy Spencer. I don’t think I’m dressed for something like this” you commented almost immediately, looking around you at all the upper class people, enjoying their Friday night dinner.
They were all dressed to the nines and made you look like a fool by comparison. Currently, you were wearing jeans, a doctor Who t shirt, and mismatched sneakers, one blue and one green.
All things considered, you looked crazy.
Even so, Spencer thought that you looked beautiful. You always looked beautiful, and it didn’t matter if you were here or somewhere else, that was always going to remain the constant.
It was obvious to Spencer immediately that you were uncomfortable here, but perhaps it was just because you hadn’t been brought here before. After all, your dates were usually much more casual.
It wasn’t until that discomfort persisted that Spencer actually started to get worried. You were exhibiting clear signs of upset, fidgeting with your menu and glancing around the room every few minutes.
“Are you okay?” he wondered, watching the tenseness in your shoulders when you glanced up at him, only relaxing once you met his eyes. Even as uncomfortable as you were, you found comfort in Spencer.
You couldn’t help it.
“There’s just a lot of people here, that’s all” you assured, doing your best to focus on having a nice time with him, even though all you could really think about was all the other patrons and the things they must have been thinking about you.
You were used to being an outcast, and having people comment on how strange you were but that was why you avoided places like this. With you and Spencer here together, you could only imagine what they were thinking.
It was driving you insane having to think about it.
You wanted so desperately to just have a nice evening but it was too loud in here and you couldn’t tear your eyes away from the other people having dinner. It wasn’t fair to Spencer.
You owed it to him to have a good time but you just couldn’t focus.
“Oh, um I understand that. Would you like to go somewhere else? Somewhere quieter?” he offered, he should have known better than to do this but he just wanted it to be nice.
He wanted to show you that he was capable of giving you a nice dinner just like everyone else, but it never occurred to him that you wouldn’t want that. If only he’d actually thought about you while making these plans.
It made all the sense in the world that you would struggle in this setting. You had always been anxious in public with too many people. For you, this was much closer to torture than relaxation.
“I don’t want to ruin your nice evening though Spence, you put so much thought into this” you sighed, you could just suck it up, for his sake if nothing else.
...But Spencer knew better than to allow that to further any discomfort you may have been experiencing.
“Come on, we can go back to my place and watch a movie or something. I don’t mind” he assured, throwing down cash on the table and escorting you out of the restaurant before anything else could trigger your anxiety.
Nothing was worth that, and besides, no one said that you two had to follow anyone else’s blueprint to prove how much you cared about each other. You could do this your own way, just like you did in your personal life.
In any case, Penelope was right...you were a dream come true.

Flower of Evil: The Breakdown of the Psyche of Baek Hee Sung
Watching episode 15 of Flower of Evil is a thrilling experience that still haunts me till this very day. We could focus on the psychological state of Do Hyun So as he hears that Baek Hee Sung kills Cha Ji Won. I could analyse it as a Romeo and Juliet base;  dreadful outcome of miscommunication and how this has been foreshadowed since the very beginning of this show. But what's even more fascinating is how the ghost of Do Min Seok is used even more as a way to showcase the breakdown of his psyche again, especially when he starts to doubt Cha Ji Won in front of him because he always believed he wasn't sane. It's a fantastic painful scene. So yeah we could focus on all that, but I want to focus again on the actual message of the show being a flower made of evil/in evil, and look at the man, the coward, the villain of this show Baek Hee Sung. His reasoning, his descent into psychopathy, and his reasons for his thirst to kill.
Tumblr media
A breakdown of the psyche of Baek Hee Sung
When we first look at Baek Hee Sung, he's found lying on a hospital bed secretly stashed inside a walk-in closet of his parents. His mum is hugely emotional and anxious about him, we can tell she holds a lot of guilt, and she's involved in his situation. His dad is there to hold her back from making mistakes, whilst also still making her feel guilty whenever she tried to actively move on and accept Do Hyun So as her family. (which she admits to him in episode 14)
Tumblr media
Baek Hee Sung lying on the bed doesn't feel as scary and whilst the clues are there that he is the missing accomplice; the reason for why the serial killings stopped after Do Min Seok committed suicide, (the day he went into a coma) and his family's need to conceal him away like a secret.  Even when he wakes up, he's still not as scary as his father who acts more coldly and heartless in situations and feels more dangerous than the guy who can't walk. It's until the audience is told he is the accomplice that things start to fall into place. The question is, why is Baek Hee Sung a killer.
Tumblr media
The Guilty Party: His Parents
I've already posted about the irony of the identity of Baek Hee Sung, how both he and Do Hyun So are mirrors of each other, foils of each other destined to intersect. Just like Hyun So was taken to therapy at a very young age for hurting animals, Hee Sung was also there because he also dropped a brick from the roof on a dog/car with people in it. He blamed it on stress, and unease from his exams, he needed to let off steam, and whilst Hyun So doesn't react or give of emotions to the therapist, Hee Sung cries and acts guilty making people think he's not someone with a disorder. Including his parents, who feel guilty for making him into one later because of neglect and stress on him to succeed as a maths wiz. This is when Hee Sung meets Do Min Seok, and he tells his parents he was coerced and forced by him into the killing.
Reasons for why his family continues to aid him into killing:
Tumblr media
The father and his neglect
The mother of Hee Sung states that from the very beginning she was the one who took care of Hee Sung, she was the one who taught him, stayed by him as he grew up. His dad was nowhere to be found because he was always working. Even in the past, when he was taken to therapy, his father wasn't at the hospital, it was his mother who knew and fully understood his character. The most important scene that is repeated is that his father refused to answer the phone when he ran over Do Hyun So and because he panicked he proceeded to try and bury him in the back yard. This is what caused the catalyst of his mother, stabbing him and realising the monster he's become. It's what drives him to be in the coma. Looking at this information and what Director Baek says, it's his guilt for not being with his son that causes him to act out if he was there perhaps Min Seok wouldn't have coerced Hee Sung if he was there or answered the phone his family would not be in the predicament they are in. His guilt is focused on ensuring his family is safe, protected and mended. Because he was not there at the beginning. From his cold attitude, and unfeeling persona about other matters, it can be assumed that he only focused on the fact that his son was a genius, and math wiz, he probably didn't think it was wrong as long as his status and reputation were good.  He believes after his son wakes up that by being by his side, he will change, he will now be part of it and control the other variables. This is what causes him to pardon Hee Sung continuously; he feels too guilty to try and stop him. (though his guilt doesn't stop him from being abusive, I guess.) He's even willing to kill to get his family protected, as long as he can manipulate someone else to take the fall. He uses Do Hyun So as physical place holder, hoping to get rid of him and return his son to that position, he even menace says that Hyun so's wife and child will end up being given to Hee Sung, and that's his goal. The father's character is three dimensional because as much as he acts cold and unfeeling, he does have one thing he cares about his son and family's reputation. This is why it can be proved as well that the environment for Hee Sung was also part of the reasons for his descent into psychopathy/murder. His father neglect that makes him more prone to following Min Seok to get attention.
Tumblr media
The mother and her guilt
Baek Hee Sung has a different relationship with his mother; he indulges her and doesn't feel angry about her trying to kill him. He coerces her into helping him and his antics because he plays as well on her guilt. Different from the father's responsibility in neglect, his mum is representative of the burden in pressure. From the start of the show, the mother reacts anxiously to any hints of pressure: she rips up Eun Ha (her fake grand daughter's) maths work because it's too ahead of her, she blames the work for the reason for why it would ruin her life and her mum's, she also questions Eun Ha if her mum hits her, or hurts her when she gets the answer wrong suggesting that Hee Sung may have been forced into the life of being a maths wiz. Her character is over-reactive, and she makes mistakes all the time. She feels guilty for pressuring him into studying, especially when in the psychiatry hospital he says it's what caused him to throw the dog from the rooftop. In her mind, the pressure they instilled on her son is what made him look for refuge and release from Min Seok.  Her guilt continues to hunt her because she reacts to the reveal of his killings by stabbing him and putting him in an extended coma. Her guilt is what makes her hide him on life support in the closet, ensuring they keep him alive, and her guilt even worsens when she finally wants to end it all (and move on) by killing him again but only making him wake up. Not only is she feeling guilty for making him a monster because of pressure, but she feels guilty for trying to kill her own son who 'was a victim of the environment'. In her mind, her husband's neglect pushed him into wanting to seek someone else in his life as a mentor, and her pressure on him to succeed caused him to break down in need of release (he killed to feel calmer/distract himself from the stress). Because of this, and the fact that her maid betrays her (she doesn't have anyone else to trust but her family) she allows Hee Sung to coerce her into framing Hyun So. In her mind, because everyone else is terrible/fake because there is no one else who will protect her but her son and her husband she decides to team with them and keep protecting Hee Sung. It's all about guilt. Both the parents feel guilt, but the immense guilt they have is not knowing the influence of Do Min Seok in their son's life.
Tumblr media
Do Min Seok and his cruelty
What Hee Sung tells his parents is that Do Min Seok forced him into the killing, he feared for his life, and so his only option was to kill. This is interesting if you do believe his perspective. We've seen Min Seok can be quite coercive as he tried to coerce Do Hyun So as well into hurting and maiming animals, he took him out on excursions waiting for potential to see if he was going to kill like him. Min Seok also approaches Hee Sung due to hearing about his incident with the brick, and he tells him that he's just like him. Reasons for why Hee Sung's parents would believe that Do Min Seok did do what their son says, is because of the cruelty of the murders,  and their refusal to accept his role in it that makes them see it as the only option/reason for why he did it.  However it is revealed that Do Min Seok did not need Hee Sung anymore once they captured Jung Mi-Sook, he wanted him to turn himself in and stop, but Hee Sung proceeded to kill him because he could no longer go back to his past life, and he now had a never-ending thirst for violence. And this brings the question why did he develop an appetite for murder?
Baek Hee Sung and his thirst for violence
Tumblr media
The father figure
It's interesting when we analyse the scene when Min Seok warns Hee Sung not to bring his son into the conversation, his desperate need to frame Do Hyun So as the murder/accomplice, and why he reacts by killing Min Seok for wanting to abandon him. The intentions from Min Seok is clear; he understands that Hee Sung won't be in trouble because his parents are wealthy enough to acquit him for his murders if they pay enough. He's not selfishly abandoning Hee Sung, but he's giving him an excuse to stop killing. This goes against Hee Sung's own claim that Min Seok was abusive and forced him into the killing.  So why is he obsessed with framing Do Hyun So. From looking at the environment/nurture, he received so far before he met Min Seok, it could be possible that just as the neglect plagued his father, Hee Sung was plagued by it too. The first way Min Seok coerces Hee Sung into joining him is to speak about them as equal, he states whilst others see it frightening and weird to understand him, Min Seok is like him, and he should find others like him, so he's not lonely. Min Seok used Hee Sung's loneliness to bring him to his side.  One might guess that from learning and being mentored by Min Seok,  Hee Sung found a father in Do Min Seok, someone who let him be himself (aided his thirst to hurt/maim) and someone who understood him.  This can then explain why he is determined to punish/frame Hyun So for the murders; jealousy.  It seems that just as much as Hyun So in the future wants to be Baek Hee Sung the most to live, Hee Sung wanted the reverse to be like Hyun So, and have someone like Min Seok who understood his urges and thirst for violence but still cared.  The jealousy of Hyun So also can explain why he reacted and killed Min Seok.  Min Seok was about to abandon him whilst trying to protect Hyun So who isn't like them. Min Seok wanted Hyun So to be like him, he waited for chances to see Hyun So will want to kill (waiting for his skills to ripe) but overall still cared and wanted to protect Hyun So even till the end. This would have triggered jealousy in Hee Sung who didn't want to go back to his environment and wanted to continue killing. He didn't want to feel controlled or judged by others, so he got rid of Min Seok and resented him for making him a murder. His longing for a father figure might have pushed him to the edge, once he felt there was no hope of ever being normal/sane, and he didn't want to be.
Tumblr media
The stress
Again breaking down the other reason for why he was prone to follow Do Min Seok and found refuge under his mentoring and presence. He killed to relieve stress and tension. This could be relieving tension of the pressure on him to succeed in his studies or the anticipation of feeling suffocated that he must wear a mask to be seen as normal. (The crying and the unnatural act he put on when he was in front of the therapist.) Do Min Seok became the alternative to all that, and he developed an addiction to killing, a sort of release from it that he enjoyed and revelled in.  He became so addicted to it, that when Min Seok tried to stop it, he lost it and ended his life. He resented being this way, but he also enjoyed doing the act. Do Min Seok represented a sort of freedom for him, one where he didn't have to pretend or hide, or feel forced to live up to expectations of others. So his reaction in killing Do Min Seok makes sense when you look at the variables, he's not just a cold-blooded killer, he had incentives and reasons for why he did so. But this brings the question: Nature vs Nurture.
Tumblr media
The nature vs nurture
What made Baek Hee Sung a serial killer, was he born with it or was he made to become it. From how he reacts to his diagnosis/mostly when he fakes emotions, it's clear he was born with a disorder (psychopathic/sociopathic), his automatic reaction was to find something else to use as an excuse, and he himself refused to believe he was one, a psychopath. Two from everything we've analysed now, he's also made to become one, from meeting Do Min Seok and learning how to kill, to enjoying it, to wanting an escape from the environment he was from. Three the question, however, is if he hadn't met Do Min Seok would he be a killer. My answer is yes, it was only a matter of time before he found something else to latch on as an excuse for killing, so it's both, the environment he was nurtured in was toxic and would have made him search for ways to find release, but also with his money/ social reputation it would have made it easy for him to get away with his murders, but also he wanted to kill. He didn't feel any emotions in hurting people, so we can argue that he would have tried and hurt someone even without the help of Do Min Seok, as a reaction to something, when he felt threatened in the world, or he felt annoyed by someone, he would have ended up one way or another finding reason to kill. So Baek Hee Sung might be a victim of circumstance, but he isn't innocent.

The euphoria you experience when you are first falling in love
“Cameron’s never been in love. At least, no one’s ever been in love with him.”
What a statement that couldn’t be any more fictitious. Ferris held onto the thought that Cameron would end up with someone who would definitely string him around like some lap dog until you came along.
You couldn’t help but stare at Cameron in the halls. He’d trail alongside Ferris sometimes, and take naps during Econ. You usually got the action shots, sitting next to him. There was something about him that just made him lovable to you. Maybe it was the way he would do his little dance when he was happy, which was rare, or when your eyes would meet and you had to look away because you felt like he knew how much you liked him.
It wasn’t your fault you’d daydream in Econ about him.
The moment you laughed at one of Cameron’s poorly timed jokes is the moment he believes he fell head over feet for you. At first, he thought you were just doing it to make him feel better, to get him out of his head and not make him feel awkward about Ferris spending more time with Sloane than usual. Ferris meant well, but Sloane had taken up most of his time. And he - well he was left in the backseat.
You really didn’t think he would fall for you. You weren’t like the other kids in Chicago, not rich, not fancy, and definitely not of the same school status. But neither was he, at last, school status wise. You found him to be too cantankerous and cynical. His neuroticism before Ferris made him let loose plagued your relationship - err, friendship.
Cameron thought you were too bookish, too bubbly, and rambling upon every thought that came to your head.
But you also made him oh so nervous, even more than he’d felt before the car incident. Ferris taught him to live life on the wild side. But he neglected to mention anything about life throwing Cameron a bone with a girl. Certainly, not one girl at their school caught his eye, but you? You were a diamond among them.
He was mortified at the thought of being in love. He was scared of the sweaty palms that came whenever you smiled at him. The nervous laughs he would give when Ferris asked him about you. The fleeting looks you two would share throughout the class. Sometimes his eyes lingered on you, just taking in whatever you were doing that day.
He would lay in bed at all hours of the day and think about you. He had trouble dreaming but after you came into his life he began to. Pleasant dreams about getting away from his father, going out in the world, and becoming somebody, living his life with someone; you. You were the girl of his dreams.
God knew he was just the saddest, most neglected, and emotionally starved kid there probably could be. Okay maybe not to be that dramatic but that’s what it felt like for him.
It was a Friday on a school night when Ferris called him out of the blue. His finger searched for the button from his bed until something clicked and Ferris’ voice came through.
“Not today Ferris.” He grumbled under the covers.
“Yeah see, I wasn’t planning on taking you anywhere. It’s what’s coming to you that you gotta prepare for.”
Cameron’s eyes widened. He sat up in bed, pressing his face right into the machine. “Please don’t say what I think you’re going to say.”
“Come on, be a man! Take some Pepto Bismol, drink some water, and maybe brush your teeth while you’re at it, who knows what tonight may bring.”
He could hear the smugness in Ferris’ voice. If he wasn’t so preoccupied with almost having a heart attack, he would’ve scolded Ferris.
“What did you do?” He asked, agonizingly.
Ferris stayed silent.
“Ferris,” Cameron said firmly.
“Okay, I might’ve let it slip that you had the hots for her.”
“You son of a bitch.”
“Whaa - relax I’m sure it’s not as bad as it seems.”
“Easy for you to say, you’re the one everyone wants. This stuff comes naturally to you.” Cameron sighed as he plopped down onto the pillows.
“Cameron, is it really the end of the world if someone turns out to like you?”
“Yes,” Cameron mumbled into his pillow.
“Cheer up! Maybe you two will have an epic love story like Romeo and Juliet, just without the ending.”
Cameron groans.
A knock at the door startles him. He stands quickly, scanning the mess in his room.
“Cameron?” Your voice was usually music to his ears but it did nothing to calm his nerves right now.
“Showtime,” Ferris says and then hangs up.
Cameron stammered while he ransacked his room, pushing the mess into one corner and throwing a blanket over it to cover it. When he feels he’s done he sits on his bed and tries to play it cool.
“Come in.” He says.
You open the door sheepishly, apologizing for disturbing him. “Your mom said I could come in.”
“Oh no, it’s totally fine.” He tried to smile but judging from your face he felt like he looked like some serial killer trying to lure someone in. He settled for a closed-mouth smile.
Your hand gripped your arm nervously, you ransacked your head for anything to say.
You take baby steps toward him, sitting next to him on his bed. You’re a bit nervous about what you’re about to tell him and him staring at you the way he does during Economics isn’t helping.
“So...Ferris told me something. I just wanted to check with you about it I guess.” You laugh.
“Did he?” Cameron mentally cursed Ferris out in French in his head.
You nodded.
“Listen I know it’s senior year and all, and we’re going off to college in a few months but I really think I should tell you something.”
There go his sweaty palms again.
You hesitate on the thought of holding his hand but you do it quickly, receiving a spark from which you two recoil.
You both share a look before breaking into awkward laughter.
“Anyway I just wanted to say, I really like you, Cameron.”
You grimaced internally. It was always scary confessing your feelings to someone. And Cameron, well he was different.
Cameron’s taken aback, his eyes wide as he takes in your confession. He’d never heard those words from anyone, much less a girl his age. Hell, he wasn’t even sure his father liked him.
“Oh...thanks.” He says, nodding while eyes fixate on his carpet.
You frown. Is that really all he can say? You bared your feelings and that’s it?
“I mean - not thanks, well yes thanks but also um - geez.” He scrunches his nose in embarrassment.
You chuckle, amused.
“A-Are you sure? I mean you really like me?” He forced the emphasis on himself.
There’s a sinking feeling in your stomach. Did he really not see himself as someone capable of feeling?
“Yes, very much. But,” you tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. “I guess it seems you don’t feel that way.”
In your eighteen years of life, you didn’t think you’d be turned down by a guy, much less one who was Cameron Frye.
“No!” He shouts, placing his hands on your shoulders. The action is strong and sudden enough to send you backward onto his bed, him suddenly hovering above you.
Your hair is splayed under you like a halo. Your eyes flicker back and forth from his eyes to his lips.
Cameron is frozen in place, the position too risque for him.
“No?” You ask, eyes full of hope.
“No, I do. I’m - I’m in love with you and I don’t know what to do.”
He felt his heart racing like there was no tomorrow. Get it together, Cameron. Your heart’s not beating faster. Stop it. He thought.
“Really?” You beam. You’re grinning from ear to ear. “I mean I’m also asking because I’ve seen the way you look at me.”
Shit. Was he really that obvious?
“You have?” He asks, half embarrassed and half-amused.
“I mean you say we’re friends but see, I don’t think friends linger on looks too long for that to be true.”
You hold his gaze before your eyes flicker back to his lips. Your hand slowly comes up to his face, your fingers ghosting over his lips. Cameron nearly shudders at the touch.
How would he tell you he wanted to take you out in his car to the drive-in? To watch those cheesy chick flicks Ferris watched with Sloane? To have someone to embrace in the middle of the night.
“You gonna kiss me or keep staring?” You break him from his trance.
Cameron conceded. His head dips down until his lips touch yours. There was that spark again from his touch. This time he didn’t shy away from it. Your hand reaches for his cheek, settling there as your lips move in perfect unison.
There was something that felt so right about it like there was a puzzle piece missing and he was the perfect fit. Cameron almost felt like he was on cloud nine for a moment. This definitely had to be a dream.
You hummed into the kiss, hearing Cameron shift in the bed allowing you to bring your legs up. He settled in between them, careful to not let his long dangling legs get in the way of you.
He comes up for air and runs his fingers over his swollen lips. He’s breathing heavy but also completely in awe of the effect you have on him.
“You know, I thought we weren’t right for each other. But this,” he says cupping your face, “this is all I’ve ever wanted.”
Love was a goddamn ocean and he had no idea how to swim. He could only sink.
He dips back down to pepper your face with kisses and earns a few chuckles and squeals from you.
He knows that when graduation comes, he and Ferris will drift. They’ll only see each other at night and in between work. But you’ll be a constant in his life. And if you would allow him to, he would be one in your life.
“You have no idea how lucky I feel.”
“I think I have some idea.” You grin.
Tumblr media
When graduation comes those following months, he doesn’t notice how fast time flies. He has the best senior year of his life. Ferris actively cheers him on when he plans dates. Cameron even carries your senior portrait in his wallet. He carries a spare on the dashboard of his car. He’ll often spoil you with what he can even though he knows you hate it.
Your memories of high school end with you and Cameron walking down the halls, clinging to each other and sharing hearty laughs about things you’d seen on tv the night before. You often have double dates with Ferris and Sloane.
Sloane gushes to you when the boys have their moments away from the two of you. She finds the way Cameron looks at you endearing, he’s completely hooked by every word you say whether you’re ranting about a test or a teacher or just singing off-key to a show tune.
Cameron is thankful for you. So thankful and grateful that someone like you is in his life. He can’t think of a time before you and Ferris’ involvement anymore. They seemed like dark times he didn’t think he’d ever escape. He didn’t think people like him got people like you, maybe fate had had enough of torturing him.
You two decide to go to colleges not too far from the other. On the weekends, one of you makes the trek to visit the other and help with anything the other needs. You help Cameron with his studies and he elects for the two of you to remain in bed as rewards for your help.
He believes he hit the jackpot with you. He doesn’t know how you put up with him sometimes but he’s so glad you’re there always. On your college graduation day, he steals one of his dad’s suits and shoves a black velvet box into his pocket. Inside is probably the best rock he and Ferris could find.
“You think she’ll love it?” Cameron asks, the jewel glinting in his eyes.
“If she doesn’t, I would.” Ferris jesters.
Cameron has that feeling again, the feeling that everything feels right. He agrees with Ferris.
He’s overjoyed when you find the ring in the champagne, and his heart is full when you attack him with a bear hug and peppered kisses.
He doesn’t know how he settled for less in his life. Gone were the days of being touch starved. You filled that void with your kisses to his lips, his cheeks, his forehead. He did much better emotion wise, letting himself become lost in the warmth of love. Because of you, he had another reason to get up in the morning.

AHS look-back: Piggy piggy
Now is time to look back at the sixth episode of Murder House...
As usual, SPOILERS AHEAD, and I’ll take notes as I watch the episode (plus some additional notes taken from Entertainment Weekly interviews)
# 1994. The year Tate died. Noted.
# Constance believes that the house drove Tate to murder. Again, when you look deeper into this, there is a form of brilliant ambiguity. Constance is shown to know more about the rules and workings of the house than any other characters (living at least), so she is often the one providing real answers. But on the other hand we also saw how she keeps making excuses for her and her family’s crimes, depicting herself (and here Tate) under a good light, which makes her claim slightly dubious.
# It is so strange to see Sarah Paulson’s first AHS role. Constance and Billy Dean are another perfect example of dark comedy in season 1.
# Well, alright, I’ll admit it... I bashed seasons like Hotel and 1984 for turning normal or decent people into serial killers the moment they become ghosts, but in Murder House they at least give a reasonable explanation for why it would happen. As Billie Dean says “There are some who have a violent and vengeful reaction to being horribly murdered, they refuse to move on until they exact their pound of flesh”. BUT it still doesn’t excuse for lazy writing and bad story choices, because even in Murder House the ghosts that become murderous not only have a good base before dying but also have a deeper character development and more complex reasons than “Oh I’m dead, I’m bored, I guess I’ll kill to feel some thrills again”. [Plus again, we have to remember that Billie Dean’s understanding of the supernatural, while very thorough, is still biased/flawed/incomplete - for example she was completely fooled by Tate’s fake ignorance of his death]
# Remember the good old days when people could enter and walk the Murder House without being killed on the spot? Like this security guard that fully explored the house, and already visited it three times previously, and not only does he barely experiences supernatural, nothing bad happens to him. Ah, the good ol’ days where the deaths of Murder House were significant and well-sprinkled over the story.
# Ah yes, the first apparition of our favorite pig-man.
# I just realized that the story of Piggy Man is actually a parallel to Hugo’s ultimate fate. One devoured by pigs, another devoured by dogs.
# People have already noticed that, but Tate’s recollection of his past is filled with dramatic irony. It started with his talk at the beach, about how he dreamt to escape the world and go away - and now he explains his love for birds out of an admiration for how they can fly and go anywhere. Of course, this desire of travel, of escape, of freedom when he was alive was robbed to him by his ghostly status and by the house.
# Notes taken from the Wiki trivia section: the book Tate took from his highschool library was the 1827 “Birds of America”, Baby Elephant Folio edition. In his bedroom two more books are seen: Henrik Ibsen’s “A Doll House” which ironicaly depicts the horrors of marriages, something explored in this season ; and “Water’s Edge: Domestic Politics and the Making of American Foreign Policy”.
# In his Entertainment Weekly interview for this episode, Ryan Murphy (upon describing Violet’s behavior) actually ended up describing what most of the fans of Tate would end up doing on the Internet X)
RYAN MURPHY: Well I think it’s a very Romeo and Juliet relationship. I think in this episode, just when you feel she’s going to do that and give into the tension, I think she sort of realizes she has fallen in love with him despite his monstrous behavior, which of course he must pay for in some way eventually. It’s that fantasy of young love. It’s a very romanticized creation. But what’s interesting in future episodes is playing the tension of what do you do when you’re in love with a mass murderer? That’s her dilemma.
# In the interview Ryan Murphy also clarifies that, as by this episode, neither Moira nor Constance do know of the true nature of Vivien’s baby/ies.

DMX Must've Died As A Result of COVID-19 Vaccine, Right? Romeo Must Die Foreshadowed Him Shot and Dead.
Day 101 Sunday 4.11.2021 New Moon 100 % darkness
Tumblr media
Rumors of DMX taking the COVID-19 shot a week before his heart attack on Good Friday at 11pma 4.5.21 has lead many to question the vaccine's safety.
Snopes' article attempted to squash this idea of the vax causing his heart attack as a conspiracy theory because the family member's name wasn't revealed and tried to defame the MTO News magazine.
But they couldn't prove that he didn't take it. In fact, at the end of their article, they admitted that NY opened vaccine to 50 year olds on 3/22/21 which is the 21st anniversary of Romeo Must Die (RMD). The movie poster shows a man shot and dead. Did DMX Take COVID-19 Vaccine Days Before Heart Attack? | Snopes.com
Tumblr media
If you saw the movie, you know that the image doesn't connect with the movie. What if it's a foreshadowing of DMX getting shot. That's chilling. RMD is the first of a series of movies that he was in that was directed and produced by the same people. Andrzej Bartkowiak directed and Joel Silvers productions.
Almost exactly a year after RMD, Exit Wounds was released March 16, 2001. Many of the same actors are in these 3 movies. Cradle 2 the Grave released 2 years later February 23, 2003. All 3 have a Martial Arts master, Jet Li or Steven Seagal. Anthony Anderson, Isaiah Washington, and others are seen repeatedly, so it seems that it is like a trilogy.
Aaliyah is a key, as her character was named Trish in RMD and this name is found to be DMX's character, Leon, right hand partner in Exit Wounds. A woman who is supplies the surveillance tech to support his case against the police insiders.
Tumblr media
If you have eyes to see, i 2 c, read the names of the titles, Romeo Must Die, Exit Wounds, Cradle 2 the Grave, Belly, The Bleeding, Never Die Alone, Chronicles of a Serial Killer, Last Hour. Death Toll, Death Race it's like he was in a cloud of death titled movies. Yet to be released Fast Vengeance, is perhaps a title indicating that revelations uncovered.
Tumblr media
As the lead actor in many of the movies, with names like Fait, perhaps his FATE was laid out. He passed on the same day a Prince Phillip, who was really like a KIng since his wife was a Queen. So the name King David in Never Die Alone has a connection. His name being Earl, is a royal link to this. Royals wear Crowns, which is what Corona means.

Hi, Kate!:) (1) Recently I was involved in a discussion about objectivity in literature and I'd like to know your opinion. Can interpretation of literature be objective? My opponent claimed it's always subjective and no one is able to know for sure about the author's intention or message, and characters hold whatever meaning the reader gives them.
(2) While reader's perception and experience definitely play a role in interpretation, imo there also should be an objective component. Like themes, problems, world building and narrative, that is to say patterns which can be tracked down. So where is the dividing line between objectivity and subjectivity placed? What do you think?
Hi~
*Clears throat* So how are we defining objective or subjective? :P
I think literary interpretation, unlike say, math or science where there is often one right answer, does lend itself to subjectivity. However, for example, there are general presumptions/agreed-on ideas in literary critic circles about what is “good” writing and what is “bad” writing, which often contain, as you say, “patterns which can be tracked down.” If a story technically meets the consensus for bad writing but I love it, I will say “yeah, it’s not well done, but I still love it” (cough 2ha cough). If it technically meets the consensus for good writing but I dislike it (winces Fahrenheit 451), I can say it’s objectively well-written according to the general consensus of what “good writing” is, but I personally dislike it. However, some disagree with these consensuses of what good and bad writing is, so to them, their belief in what “objectivity” is differs. There also isn’t like a clear list, so this consensus is inherently vague.
Your friend’s argument delves specifically more into death of the author vs. taking the author’s intentions into account. Death of the author I generally do subscribe to, but I also think it varies based on the reader, and that intentions do matter when it comes to, like, predicting the course of a half-told story (serial fiction). Characters hold whatever meaning you subscribe to them on a personal level for sure, but if you’re like, doing literature as an academic study or career in analysis, your friend will find themselves struggling with that perspective, because you have to be able to provide evidence for your analyses that goes beyond the personal response factor. The patterns and contrasts between characters present in Romeo and Juliet are there--objectively--regardless of what they meant to you or to your overall interpretation of the text.
There is a school of literary theory called “formalism” or “new criticism” which is kind of like what your friend is saying (though it has very much fallen out of favor). However, even the strictest formalists (Professor B, hi, I remember you)  do take the structures and literary elements of the actual text into account (like, this is actually the same professor who taught me to analyze chiastic structures). It attempts to create a vacuum around the work, but it, well, does still look at themes and structures present in that particular text, and the analyst isn’t bringing a lack of knowledge to that, so, yeah.

Another day, another moment of realisation how similar wtfock’s s3 fandom experience is to watching the original live
Who cares if all of theories don’t come to pass. We spent weeks and weeks theorising that’s Even was everything from a sociopathic serial killer who was using Isak to play out his Romeo and Juliet themed fantasy to him being a sweet boy with a mental illness who wanted to be seen and loved...
And at that point, that second one was a crack theory! Wtfock are chaotic as hell so I don’t blame everyone for wondering. Even if what we get is a simple mirror of the issues from the og and nothing more except a few extra explanations, the theorising is part of the fun and it’s what made the og real time experience a total joy
