I hope the dreamling sandman fandom for some reason survives till the end of the show purely as an observer to see what they do when:

It is revealed a character is named Hope that Morpheus met and while he can’t remember the young girl, he does remember her inspiring the people around her. (If I remember correctly her existence did sort of inspire his “I am hope” line)

The “6 years of piss” line comes up. I want to see edits of that scene or fanart and everyone seeing it will know deep down what Hob’s actually saying. I want to know the reaction to their favorite little guy talking about such a topic at such an important event, to not only himself, but also to DREAM.

Anyway that’s it. I just think it’s a little funny how much the fandom likes him for some reason I just don’t fully understand, but also that they made a head canon that a different character also applies to.

I am still wondering if I am the only John Constantine fan who’s left under the weather because of the Sandman show. I try to write an essay or article maybe about why or how but I still feel like it’s a terrible characterisation only meant to help Morpheus on going plot. Which even more so is depressing when you read the original comic that gives a bit more insight into John’s character. While Johanna feels like a washed out version with the whole change of the New Castle story too.
