11/20/2023 - nxcx.

It's getting late. I've prayed maghreb and it's time to wind down and pray isha. I just wanted to make note of something else that happened today. This burst of computer inspiration. Really a continuation of a lot of things I've done in my life and some more recent attempts to get back into python programming specifically. I finally formatted a flash drive and installed Linux Mint on it. It's a nice silver samsung 64gb drive which should last a little while. I mainly want to practice python and what have you related to artificial intelligence. I don't know where things will go or how long this will last. All I know is that I have that interview tomorrow and that I got this drive all set up and ready to go with an IDE and everything. Ya rabb. Ja'alna min al waritheen. ameen.

Hey, Hello,

So we have some good news, some bad news and some other good news.

The good news is we are honoured and delighted to be playing Day 2 of New Friends Fest on August 4th alongside some of the best bands in North America. Get yr weekend passes ASAP because its going to be nuts: https://www.facebook.com/events/304910866712863/

The bad news is that this will be our last show together for the foreseeable future. A little over a year ago Kai decided to step away from the band for a moment to focus on other projects, and between then and now Van has been accepted into a post-grad program and is moving back home to Simcoe County at the end of summer. So that just leaves me (David), and since I am busy finishing up school myself Nanette is not seeking new members at this time and is effectively on hiatus. Thanks to everyone who booked us, played with us, loaned us gear, ubered us, watched us, bought a tape, wore our shirts in public or was generally aware of our existence, it means everything.

The other good news is that while we have been relatively quiet for the past year, we have also been slowly working on a new EP with our good friend Dean Snowball (Huge Cosmic, Piper Maru). It is currently in the final stages of mixing and fingers crossed will be out sometime in July! Album art, titles and all that are forthcoming--but for now we can say that it is comprised of 5 tracks, the majority of which are longer than 3 minutes, and it is the best material we have ever written. We're anxious for y'all to hear and hope as many folks as possible can come out to New Friends Fest to see us perform one last time.

My characters are going on a big adventure! Meks found refuge in the caves after getting attacked by mage hunters, while Gabriel had a casual stroll through these elaborate tunnels. Then, Meks, still missing lots of blood, got approached by a mysterious old woman with a riddle. Will she answer correctly? Meanwhile, Gabriel thinks he figured out the answer to the same riddle - the location is a desolate Wasteland. And he even brought a friend! Who's not enthused.
